We hosted our wedding here, and we loved working with Marco from the Sheraton North Shore! Jon got us started on our wedding planning, and Marco jumped onboard soon after to take over He was always responsive to emails and calls, helped us figure out details we didn’t even know to think about, and made our weekend absolutely beautiful Even the day of, Marco was with us, communicating with our vendors and officiant to make everything so smooth

The hotel was undergoing renovations while we were there, but that did not distract from our day at all Our guests loved having the ease of staying at the same place all the festivities were happening All the staff at the hotel were accommodating and kind, we really couldn’t have asked for a better experience

Latasha Davis

The location was great The room was nice and clean There was a lot of remodeling during our stay, so noise was prevalent

There wasn’t a pool, picnic area, or any place for families to gather to eat outside food You could only eat in the dining area if you purchased their food Other than that All was well! I would stay at this hotel again!

One of the worse “hotels” I’ve ever stayed in It’s more so like a motel than anything I came into town for a few hours to visit a friend who had a recent death in the family, got a room close to their home for $299 on my American Express card

The place, the room, the whole thing is not even worth $100 I don’t even know where to begin The chair in the room was torn apart The bathroom door doesn’t slide and it’s old The AC unit in the room is old The tub wouldn’t drain properly They shouldn’t list this hotel

My room was cleaned ONCE during my whole 16 night stay, even though I asked for cleaning service 4 times Even when they cleaned my room, it was only partly cleaned

Front desk didn’t seem interested helping me with my problem Every time I asked for cleaning, they said they would do in the next day, but never did The only time my room was cleaned was when I personally asked the housekeeping staff to do it Would not recommend this hotel for long stays Some of the staff in the front desk was very blunt and not niceBesides that, food & service in the restaurant is really good

Alicia Reed

Hotel fitness room and pool area were nice ( didn’t get a chance to use them) The hotel and room was very outdated Our first day was busy so we didn’t have a chance to do anything in the hotel except for sleep

However, around 2 am I woke up itchy with bites on my arm Turn on the light to see multiple bedbugs crawling in the bed Safe to say second night was canceled and I was forced to find a room somewhere else since I was traveling with children They’re traumatized

Brad Nagel

I seldom write reviews but felt it was important to get this one out there regarding my stay last nightRooms are very outdated and my dinner in the restaurant was awful The bed was stiff as a board

The chicken breast on my sandwich was about as thick as a paper towel and the bun was not fresh When you think of a Hilton this is not up to Hilton standardsThe front desk gentleman was wonderful and so was my waitress in the restaurant

Amazing hotel!!!!! I was very impressed Probably the best I’ve stayed in! The room was really nice and clean, the rain shower was so cool The gym was really nice and cold towels, nice touch! I got a burger at the restaurant, it was really good and a good price

It was also delivered to my room by a gentleman dressed professionally and formally The grab & go breakfast was really convenient and had great items The front desk people were very nice and helpful The pool did look like it could have been cleaned a little better on the walls I had a broken refrigerator in my room It was repaired quickly and they put a note informing me it was fixed with a bag of M&M’s That was really nice

Valerie

Charge an arm & a leg to stay there! Minimal restaurant service Wanted to hangout with family on Sunday night and restaurant/bar were closed! No free continental breakfast yet have a Pantry for “elite” members who stay 75+ nights / year Received 1 decaf and 1 regular coffee pod each day when 2 of us were in room

Had to go to front desk to get more coffee each day Housekeeping gave us only 1 hand towel daily Took the shower mat and didn’t replace one day Didn’t appear to vacuum, and we were there 4 nights When we arrived, fitted king sheet wasn’t put on bed correctly Fixed it myself by turning sheet one quarter Used to be our go to hotel when it was the Radisson Not anymore!

Clean rooms, recent fresheningGroup getaway, 13 people for one night looking forward to relaxing in hot tub The tub apparently has been broken for several months but not mentioned when reserved

We were told ‘ you didn’t ask ” mgr refused to compensate saying she had already given us 1000 off the rental of the conference room

Donna Kammueller

Poor management I reserved a handicap room for my two elderly parents for their safety I wanted them to have a walk in shower

We did not get a handicap room because they were all being painted They stated we up graded your room at no extra charge This was not an upgrade at all Management should have looked ahead and planned out and painted rooms according to what has been booked Why on earth would you paint all the handicap rooms at the same time This location needs new management and I would never recommend staying here

John was a FANTASTIC host and accommodated us so graciously! We had a big group come and rent out 10 of the rooms for an overnight stay and it couldn’t have worked out more perfectly! We were able to hang out in the 3 season room with our group and some of the other common areas The rooms were absolutely lovely; and I appreciated the history and authenticity of the inn And, to top it all off, the French toast John made us the next morning was the best I have ever tasted

We love this place!

Lisa Engels

We had such a wonderful experience during our stay! The lady who worked the front desk took time to walk us through the house and showed us all of the neat details or common rooms It was just a beautiful, Cozy, feeling all through the house John, the owner, put together a lovely breakfast for all of us and you can sit and get to know the other people who are staying there at the same time

I would HIGHLY recommend staying here Just great people trying to make sure that you are having your best time We will definitely be back!

Austin Mikoulinskii

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING! Unfortunately, there is no pool, which is why my review is 4/5 stars The website still promotes the pool amenity, there are pictures of it Unfortunately, after talking to some other guests that were staying, the pool got filled up a year ago

I wish the website would have defected this and provides this information as my partner and I were excited to be somewhere with a pool (or so we thought) Beside that, the rooms were absolutely beautiful, along with the rest of the Inn Everyone was so incredibly friendly, especially the owner when we would come down for breakfast We had breakfast twice during our stay and each morning he brought us a new, creative breakfast Everything was absolutely delicious! The location was fantastic, as well! We were 15 minutes walking distance from downtown which made it easy to go out for the night and let loose Overall, an amazing place and we definitely plan to be coming back!

They were extremely accommodation and allowed us to check in early at 12:30 even though we arrived at the hotel early and did not want to wait because we were attending a big event and needed to arrive early, the fact that we were able to check in early was a very big plus! The GM was exceptional as well The staff were extremely helpful and happy to help with anything we needed I would definitely recommend this hotel for any friend or family

Thank you again!!!

Lyssa

Overall was a nice stay, the first front desk lady was unable to find my boyfriends reservation because they put his first name in wrong and was rather rude about it Our second attempt with a different staff member went well she was able to find it for us and change the name The rooms were nice and clean

The cleaning staff I’m not sure if they were training or not but were all grouped in the hallway outside of one room Overall was a nice stay

Jackie Webster

My husband and I had the privilege of staying at Cobblestone in Hartford last weekend! We felt spoiled during our stay! The room was immaculate which made us feel comfortable, the staff was very polite including the manager, Tina Tina even took time every time we saw her to stop and talk to us and make sure we had what we needed and always asked if there was anything she could help us with Starbucks coffee out all day and night along with teas and hot chocolate

The breakfast… Nothing but AMAZING!! I give Cobblestone five stars, ten if I could! I will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!! God bless you all for all your hard work making your guests comfortable!!

Beautiful and spacious room Only problem is if you want to make a reservation, DO NOT USE THE 800 NUMBER!!! Only call the Jackson number! Everything was completely wrong as to what they told us and it caused major headaches and issues with our stay Front desk: little readhead seemed like she was in outer space

but we really did enjoy the room (finallyonce we got in there) Unfortunately, they do not follow through with their rules about kids being in the pool or whirlpool with a parent That was very discouraging because we were expecting a relaxing night in the hot tub but there were so many little, and I mean LITTLE kids in it at the time that we’re screaming and splashing in the whirlpool that we simply just left

It was okay, but that’s the best I can say about it Clearly short staffed (as are most hotels) and maintenance and cleaning seem to be on the back burner Right from the moment you walk in the decaying couches in the lobby shout “we’ve given up”

Our room had a full spider web under the desk which made us worry about the germs you can’t see Our bathroom door didn’t lock and would pop open as it saw fit The bathroom in the pool also didn’t lock which is a bit concerning with kids in and out of there The pool and hot tub were decent and I’d say the highlight of our stay Breakfast was also okay at best The prepackaged stuff was fine (muffins, granola bars, etc), but the waffles and hash Browns were dry and flakey The eggs were not editable super watery and tasted like rubber In the end, I’m going with 3 out of 5 stars and chalking it up to you get what you pay for For $99 it’s reasonable, but this place needs some major TLC

Tina Pearson-Neu

My mother and I stayed here from Tuesday-Friday The owner and her husband were so polite and accommodating, they made sure our visit was comfortable Housekeeping was above and beyond

I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends The pool area was so warm and relaxing, and dont forget the awesome hot tub jacuzzi!!!!! Also the breakfast was awesome, alot of selections We will definitely be back when we come back into town

Antoinette A.

The breakfast variety was ok I especially enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and orange juice The room was so very clean, it brought me to tears (compared to my last review of a different location which brought on much frustration) and I’m looking forward to my next leisure stay at this location

Those who were on staff during my stay (sorry I don’t know their names), were very professional I received an awesome greeting upon check in and truly felt like a guest before bringing the items to the room Must check the room over first just in case all isn’t well!

I went threw priceline to get a cheaper rate I had called before we left to see if pet fee was one time or every day Said one time, but didn’t tell me there was a $200 deposit on top of that! To get anyone to help you or ask a question you better be a cellphone

Cause that’s all they were doing was on their phone’s I was told I would get $75 of my deposit back when check out? Still waiting to see that Good luck going there Hyatt use to be top notch nameNot no more Won’t be back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the king one bedroom suite with our children The pool was quite cold, but very cool to be a saline based pool

Not too many of those in this area The lobby was pleasant, well lit and inviting Parking was a breeze and there were plenty of options for dining in the areaThe breakfast was amazing each day and the options were plentiful Staff were very friendly and accommodating when we asked for additional sheets and towelsThe reason for a 7 is due to the condition the room was in when we arrived The dishwasher had dirty dishes (mainly ones that were packed too tight) and could not get clean There was a half eaten donut under the pull out bed and a large stain on the couch cushion The motorized shades in the bedroom did not function properly and the blackout guide had fallen off the wall In the bathroom, the amount of mold/mildew in the shower was very unappealing and clearly was not being cleaned fullyI would recommend home 2 suites, but this location needs some work

Jessica Heinberg

This is a very nice hotel When we arrived to check in staff was super friendly and nice They even gave us some complimentary water to take up

They even directed us were everything was Elevator, pool, Gym The free breakfast is very good Bagels, waffles, cereal, fresh fruit, juice, breakfast sandwiches We chose to stay here because the wedding we were attending had blocked rooms I am so glad they chose this hotel because it is very nice and we had a great stay!

Lisa Beyer

We’ve stayed at a few different Home2 locations and one thing we’ve liked about our stay is that upon arrival each room is fairly clean…I would say really clean, but I’m a bit picky when it comes to cleanness (at this location our room was a bit dusty and there was some garbage still on the floor) I am only giving it a two star review today instead of a 4/5 star review for a couple reasons The first is we requested some housekeeping (taking out garbages, replacing dirty towels with clean towels, and bringing extra Kleenex) before leaving for the day; however, when we returned nothing we requested had been done which was very frustrating after a long day out doing things with our 5 kids

The second reason is that we discovered that our air conditioner unit was leaking right as we were ready for bed the first night so the floor between it and one of the beds was extremely wet We let the staff know the next morning and all that was said was maintenance would be told The floor continued to get wet while we were out and it grew to being wet almost the whole width of the bed The bed sheets/blankets that touched the ground during the night also soaked up some of that water Needless to say it was gross (wet feet/socks; squishy, wet carpet; and wet sheets/blankets) and annoying (having to wear shoes in the room to stop wet feet/socks and having to climb in/over others to get in the bed) I had hoped while we were out someone would come check it out and maybe at the very least put a fan on it to help dry out the carpet I was not pleased with this stay

Breakfast is always amazing, the wine & cheese hour was up & running again which was a pleasant surprise! I’m pregnant & appreciated they had non-alcoholic options The room was so clean & super spacious (218) with 2 fireplaces and a massive whirlpool tub with skylights I loved it! Loved the housekeeping option for just having towels/toiletries dropped outside room

We had a wonderful time at that Washington Inn If you are looking for a quiet getaway with a comfortable, clean room then consider this inn We were in 305 and as another reviewer noted it was really quiet

We hardly knew anyone was staying there besides us until breakfast The room has a very nice double shower The breakfast was delicious Baked good made on-site were amazing! We brought our bikes and rode to Port Washington and back on the Interurban Trail It is a really scenic ride, not difficult and it ends up on Lake Michigan (or you continue on) We enjoyed the shopping and walking around the downtown Great vacation!

Samantha Morrison

My husband and I stay here yearly for our wedding anniversary and are always in awe of the service and rooms The staff is all so incredibly helpful, kind, and absolutely go out of their way to ensure visitors have the best experience Our room is always very clean, breakfast is incredible (definitely get the cookbook- totally worth it!), and it’s quiet

We stayed an entire week this last time and we had the best time relaxing, rejuvenating, and simply existing Already looking forward to our next stay 🙂
