Wow! Blown away Got in at like 2am without a reservation and they gave me a beautiful 1st floor room next to the breakfast area which was great because I had a lot of luggage The staff was extraordinarily friendly and accommodating every moment

The kitchen and room was perfectly clean and every way, the bathroom is very modern The entire hotel looks brand new, you could lick the floor Looks like mostly young professional college age people as well as college parents Everyone was courteously quiet in the lobby areas at night, I heard noises coming from other rooms, no sound came through the walls The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking, and there were but appear to be brand new linens

I am going to come back and update this post because I have so many people here I would like to credit for being so amazingOur family house was flooded (plumbing leak) and unlivable while being fixed I travel a lot and Marriott is always the best choice so I brought my family of 4 to stay (Me, Wife, 4YO, 10YO)

Statying with young children in school is stressful enough but especially if you are uprooted and have to stay in a different place We are now on week 44 weeks in a hotel gives you an uparralled insight into an organization A 2 night stay might not give you the whole picture but 30+ nights? We have seen every shift, night/day/weekend/etc and feel we have a unique insight on how well the people here take care of their customers and the facilityThe entire staff of this hotel has been so amazing to my entire family From the room staff, the desk staff, and the kitchen staff, everyone got to know our names and make a point to stop and say hi when anyone in my family comes through the door It has truly felt like a home away from homeFront Desk Friends – Helps and Fixes EVERYTHING! Thank you!Room Cleaning Friends – They take care to ensure the smallest details are taken care of even though we’ve been there for weeks They don’t forget a thingBreakfast Friend – Boy, it is hard to run a breakfast kitchen for a hotel Messes are left, everyone has different demands, and you have 3 hours to pull it all off She has been so amazing helping me get breakfast for our family of 4 each morning, making sure that my kids have a great breakfast before I take them to school She is as bubbly and happy in the morning as I am and I LOVE IT! Thanks for making the start of our day so wonderful day after dayI still have a week left and will update with names, I just wanted to let everyone know how hard everyone here works to make your stay the best

Very fun staying at a hotel that was “back in time”! The bathroom was a bit tight & we had a challenge finding enough electrical plug-ins but made it work for the 2 night we were there Beautiful lobby & we enjoyed being able to sit out in front of the hotel & people watch Though I wasn’t able to do any walking, my husband saw lots on his morning walks

First time staying here, long time wanting to Stayed in the Outlaw Room, big suite overlooking the main drag Six foot tall shutters with what could be old bullet holes? Probably not but looks good

Room is rustic but sufficient and comfortable Staff will go above and beyond to meet your needs Really neat place to stay that is 140+ years old 4 stars because price is steep for what you get Hopefully tho this place stays around another 100 years, plenty of history here

When I travel for work, I always look for hotels that have a kitchenette and offer breakfast Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a very pleasant young man at the front desk I was pleasantly surprised as I entered my room

The rooms are very spacious This place even had the two burner stove top with pots and pans They no longer clean the rooms daily but, it was cleaned on the day that I chose I really enjoyed the fact that on every Wednesday evening, they have happy hour (15 hours) This was a nice touch and the staff was very attentive and interacted with the guests Any time that I am going to be in this area for work, I will most definitely make this my home

Scott Pocius

Super friendly staff! Stayed there 12 nights during Livestock show I swear the hot breakfast was always different and delicious!!! N till 10a on Saturday and SundayConvenient parking in rear

I missed the Wednesday night happy hours with free beer but I did get a goody bagKids tried the hot tubsaid it was nice Thanks Homewood Suites

We recently stayed here while my daughter was seeing her specialists at Cook Children’s Hospital The hotel is extremely close to the hospital, so it makes for a really convenient stay The hotel was really clean, the parking was relatively secure, and there’s an artificial putting green by the pool! Our room was a double-queen suite

Very spacious room for a family of 5 The pull out couch was comfortable enough, the sink outside of the main bathroom was really helpful, and the full-size fridge in the kitchenette was a huge plus You can walk to multiple eateries from the hotel as well We will try to stay here for all of our future appointments for sure

Beautiful hotel right across from the Conference Center The beds are incredibly comfortable and the robes are so soft! Housekeeping did a wonderful job keeping our room tidy while also being respectful with all of mine and my roommates belongings We had a lot of makeup, hair products, shoes, and clothes everywhere from changing multiple times a day for events… Truly felt like we had maid service

They deserve extra praise! 10/10 would recommend

Lalania Neal

I mean

the room was nice and the view was okay, but it’s a bit dated for the price Our room was pretty clean and very comfortable The floors were really dirty and I had to clean the hair and trash off the floor I noticed the dirty floors in the hallway also There was something that I hope was just chocolate on the light switch that I used a sanitized wipe to clean off I do like that they use large bottles in the shower that they refill rather than individual bottles which tend to just get tossed out The room was nice and cool, well appointed I forgot my macaroons in the fridge, so, hopefully they found them 😅 the lobby is beautiful and the front desk staff was amazing and answered all my tedious questions Room service was excellent 👌 👏 great food! This was our second visit and I’m thinking there’s no need to upgrade to a corner room for the view next time Valet service was also nice

Sarah Farison

I did not stay in a room, my family went for Mother’s Day brunch and it was fabulous The flowers and ice sculptures were beautiful! The food was fantastic, so many options to choose from, and there was even a section of items for children My children enjoyed decorating their own cookie! The service was great, everyone was very nice and polite

This is our second year in a row for brunch on Mother’s Day and can’t wait for next year!

This hotel is nice -ish I’ve certainly stayed at better Marriott’s, but it is pretty nice One piece of feedback – there was nothing on our door indicating we did not want our room cleaned

However when we returned from being gone the entire day (literally left at 8:00 am and did not return until midnight) our room had not been cleaned and we had no clean towels or rags My husband had to go down and get moreThe hotel is in a good spot and conveniently located to downtown For the price, it’s good I would recommend Just ask for extra towels when you arrive 😉

Laurie Giertz

Very roomy stay 1 bedroom suite Large living room and bedroom large TVs, kitchen that has an oven! Small couch could really fit a small sectional Across from I820 and Naval airstrip so can be a little noisy but we’ve had no problems sleeping

Bedding and towels nice Refrigerator has ice trays Breakfast downstairs daily Very friendly staff

Nobodys Business (Bonjour)

No service for 2 weeks, over charged and charged double then different amounts at random times putting my account to over negative $1,000 No towels, had to wash their towels, no blankets, no sheets for bed in sofa, general manager BUSTED through my door twice yelling at the top of her lungs for me to get to front desk cause card wasn’t authorizing when I had just spoke with the night auditor who confirmed I was checked in wrong and there was many fraudulent charges They put $400 in my account then took it out 2 weeks after checking out

I have a disabled daughter and 3 other kids 1 being the youngest and was treated with such disrespect and was terribly degrading especially bawling in front of other guests at the front desk trying to explain I had just spoke with her and the auditor Marriott will do nothing! Way more to tell but don’t have time or space!

On its face, this is a nice Hilton property My poor rating is the result of the lack of cleanliness of the maids The property is well appointed with a great fitness room, pool, outdoor cooking area and modern rooms

The front desk gal was very niceI checked into my room and everywhere I turned was filth I moved the hassock near the couch, and there was garbage behind it The dishes in the dishwasher with a ‘I’m clean, use me sign’ on the front were not only dirty but absolutely filthy The counter was never wiped downThe property could’ve garnered a 4-5 star review if it had cleaned the room not just thoroughly but more appropriately, at all I’m currently one night into a five night stay and am shopping my other options in the areaThe cleaning service of a hotel is so important; you’re living in the same space as other humans with undetermined levels of cleanness If you’re to have a reputation of being a clean place, especially given the current era, you HAVE to keep your hotel clean

Jessica Stewart

I made a reservation with this hotel because of the incredible experience I had before, with the Home2 Suites in Northlake Texas I made a reservation to stay at this location for 3 nights due to me visiting Texas for Spring Break When I arrived in my room and I pulled the comforter back , I notice that there was hair all over the sheets

I went into the bathroom and the toilet was dirty and the bathroom sink also had hair in it The counter top and the table where the chair sits also was nasty The carpet looks like it had not been vacuumed before our arrival I called downstairs to let the front desk know that I needed more sheets because apparently my room was never cleaned So, me and my husband ended up cleaning and wiping down the room ourselves I spoke with Princess at the front desk who was really nice and she informed me that I could come downstairs to get a clean set of sheets Hours later when I went to pull out the sofa bed, to put my kids down for bed, there was hair weave all throughout the sheets This is totally unacceptable!! No one should pay their hard earned money to travel and stay somewhere that is completely filthy The hotel management need to have a meeting with their housekeeping staff, about how they should be cleaning the rooms and changing the bedding after each guest stay, because no one wants to arrive to a nasty room that wasn’t properly cleaned after the last guest I definitely would not be staying at this hotel again

Sharon Taylor

My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed for one night Let’s start with the positive Didn’t hear any noise while we were sleeping

The bed was very comfortable, except for the pillows It was very quiet The showerhead was amazing, and also the staff was extremely friendly! Now the negatives; our granddaughter had to sleep on the sofa bed, no sheets or blankets to be found so we had to go downstairs to get them Only 2 towels in the room for 3 people, had to go downstairs again Got in the shower, empty soap container When you pay over $16000 for a hotel, I expect these things to be there Room was a little dirty and pretty outdated “Hot” breakfast wasn’t impressive Only old eggs and waffle maker The only fruit was apples that had definitely seen their better days Would NOT stay there again

Imelda Ulrich

Hands down 5 star hotel! The rooms were clean! Beds we’re comfortable! Bar was awesome! Front desk personnel we’re phenomenal! The continental breakfast was tasteful! I mean wow! Normally hotels have great rooms but their staff is rude or the food sucks! This hotel exceeded our expectations! It was legit 5 STARS!The hotel was safe, you needed your access card for everything! Cars were locked in the garage! I couldn’t ask for anything more! My husband and I are definitely coming back!

We had a short stay for business We used the Drover facilities and stayed the nightThe service was excellent

The food provided for our meetings was delicious and had a great varietyMy room was small but comfortable The bathroom was clean and the brass, antique style shower was interesting and refreshingI’ll be back with family for a fun weekend Too many things within walking distance to name

Amber Morris

Staff was top notch The impeccable attention to detail with the decor was out of this world Every turn there is a surprise and if you keep looking, you’ll find more subtle touches of Americana and ode to the southwest

It smells delicious in the hotelOnly giving four stars because I feel like for the price of this hotel there should be in room dining and better coffee in the room It was really bad coffee and super cheap coffee fixings Have had better at CourtyardsThe pool seems kind of small for the size of the hotel as well, but it was really beautiful Would love to go back and experience this place in the winter with the firepit

Fred Peabody

The Hotel staff were friendly My room was large and clean Bed comfortable

Pool clean and well maintained Everything you could hope for The dining was the worst mess of disorganization I’ve ever seen They opened at 7AM, but were not ready and unable to serve the people expecting to eat So, on short notice, they announced that Saturday, they’d not open until 8AM People showing up at 830 were told to return in a few hours for breakfast They didn’t seem concerned of the inconvenience this caused I’ve had better breakfast service in a Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn or others So, if I have to seek out a meal at another place, I might as well stay at another clean, comfortable, cheaper hotel, then go to a real restaurant Coffee isn’t available in the Lobby, but $5 a cup at the restaurant Breakfast for a light eater can easily top $25

For what we paid, I expected better Overall, the rooms were clean, I appreciated breakfast, and the easy walk to The Stockyards was perfect I also enjoyed the pool and the smell of the provided body wash

If it was cheaper, I’d stay again But at this price point, the following was not satisfactoryThe fresh sheets in two of our rooms were damp/wet upon arrivalThe bathroom faucet knob falls offThe bathroom door is a barn door (doesn’t seal in smells or steam) and the door handle slams into the wall because there’s no stopThe room smells kind of musty if the air isn’t on

Melissa Ellis

Pretty hotel and great location, but wayoverpriced We stayed in 2nd large kingroom and it was 400 first night and 1662nd night No service, no room clean (theydid not even take out the trash), and wehad to go to the front desk to get toiletpaper

Breakfast was fair …sausage wascrisp and everything was just standardfare The staff was nice and beds comfy, but I would never pay that price again Feltripped off at SH Suites On a positive note, the rooftop restaurant was beautiful andthe tapas were top notch The drinks wereexcellent but we paid about $16 each Beautiful view

Dawn Brown

Nice, new hotel in the heart of the Stockyards Super comfy bed and a wonderful breakfast made our staycation so relaxingWe had drinks and a bite to eat at the rooftop restaurant Ático and enjoyed beautiful sunset!Would absolutely stay again!

This hotel is wonderful From the time you arrive until you depart the staff makes things very accommodating Valet is there to help with your things and park your car without hesitation, the front desk workers, especially Hunter, do a fantastic job of meeting your every need or request

The rooms are spacious, neat, and clean My family absolutely loves the separation between living room and bedroom Breakfast was wonderful, except the sausage Our only complaint was that the pool was ice cold and we couldn’t even enjoy it But we did relax in the hot tub so it wasn’t a bust We will definitely stay here again

Bettina Woolbright

Great stay, great location! Downtown Ft Worth has so much to offer and this hotel is in the middle of it The hotel is less than 2 blocks from Sundance square which was active late into the evening Ft Worth downtown feels safe and inviting any time of the day

We had some great meals next to the square but did not have time to enjoy the shops The hotel staff was friendly and helpful Parking is valet unless you self park in one of the garages within a block of the hotel but you will still pay a fee Our room was clean and spacious with great views of downtown Breakfast is included and had a very good selection including made to order eggs, omelets and pancakes It also included a buffet style of hot foods and a good selection of fruit, oatmeal, cold cereals, sausage, eggs and more Full beverage service Would definitely stay here again!

April Palmieri

Lobby under construction, very loud I’m sure it will be nice when it’s finished Our room had a lightbulb out in the bedside lamp

We did not have a do not disturb sign, we were not given a box of tissues The pool needs better ventilation, the chlorine smell was overwhelming so we only used the hot tub once in our 4 day stay The gym has a single recumbent bike There were more treadmills and elliptical machines One cable was broken on the weight lifting machine, so no chance to do symmetrical cable crossovers or chest presses I used the free weights and elliptical stepper We went to a banquet event The air conditioning was very cold, wish I brought a jacket The food was good and the staff was nice The breakfast room/ lounge was nice but I’m sure it will be next to be renovated The breakfast food has a lot of variety The happy hour is good too, don’t miss itOverall the people who work there are very helpful and pleasant

10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! I have managed for hotels for over 10 years and never write reviews! However, I can honestly say I have never seen a more disgusting property! Not only is the staff unprofessional anddisrespectful but the management staff, including the GM, are never there! I’ve had multiple different events and given multiple opportunities to this property but after constant unknown charges, stealing, and uncleanliness I wanna make sure no one ever has to deal with a property like this!

Verna Serra

Jillian on the events team was fantastic Our box was delivered late and she went the extra mile to deliver it to us (outside of the hotel) after our event was overThe front desk staff was pretty nice

A couple less than impressive things:1 The hotel didn’t seem overly booked and they put me in a room with a flood light beaming into the window all night long2 The bartender was unfriendly, unwelcoming and unhelpful

Stylish but not practical- especially if 2 guests No where to set a suitcase for accessing your things, no where to hang your towels or a robe in the bathroom A bed and one chair in the room about a foot off the floor and not really functional for a hotel room

No tissues, lotion is inconveniently attached to the wall in the shower; water sprayed out the end of the hand-held shower where it attached to the hose spraying the occupant with cold water when beginning a shower Could be great with a few simple additions, like a towel rack and a table top or extra chairs in the room

Brandy Baker

Our room was very unsanitary hair in the shower drain empty shampoo and conditioner bottles in the shower no towel rack very cold floors know where to iron your clothes no hair dryer room was very bright in the morning security door fell on our heads was locked out because we forgot a phone child was locked in the room and no way to get back into the hotel until hours later this is not a safe place to be at Doors do not lock or unlock for anybody to come into your room this is a very unsafe hotel to stay at do not stay thereWe will be taking action on a lawsuit against this place

While staying at this hotel it was by far the worse experience in my life I booked two nights at the Hotel Revel for my boyfriend’s birthday We had dinner close by and I booked two nights

It was a loud smell of marijuana when we pulled up to check in Around 9pm First night was nice we went to dinner and enjoyed the night in our room Upon waking up we shower and now just laying around relaxing all of the sudden a lady with blonde hair barged into the room asking questions about a call about weed smoke I asked her who she was because again she just came in and started talking She then advised she was with management but didn’t state her name I told her we didn’t have clothes on and how is it ok to just come in the room without knocking my privacy was completely violated and I will not ever recommend a place that violates privacy I will definitely be seeking legal action against my rights being violated while staying at this hotel

Very great location Convenient to the interstate and local interests Lobby is well laid out, the staff was incredibly friendly

The elevator was very slow and constantly made loud noise, basically hard to hear in the elevator The room was nice, but we had a view of the brick wall The air con seemed to struggle to maintain temp and low, very l low water pressure Otherwise, a pretty good stay

This is my second time staying at this hotel And the gentleman working the front desk(Orlando) has exceeded my expectations The integrity and hospitality from this individual has gone a long way

Running into problems he stayed very composed and executed his solutions to those problems If this individual us not given more responsibilities within the company It is doing the brand a tremendous disservice

If I could give zero stars I wouldWe had to cancel our room last minute and the guy at the front desk said there was no cancelation fee Come to find out he charged my the ENTIRE stay anyways

The manager refused to give us our money back I will NEVER use this hotel They called my dad and my daughter a liar I wouldn’t recommend this to my worst enemy and I would never stay here, even if it were free

Overall a great hotel Love the extended stay style but with very nice clean appliances What made it a lower rating was the noise

That highway penetrates every nook and cranny of those walls I think they got screwed by the builder on insulation? Either way they were friendly people, good setup and good breakfast Loved the dishwasher in the room Very nice
