Great location!!! In walking distance to everything Fun bar and relaxing pool deck all contributed to our memorable stay We did have issues with our room, but Ebony, the front desk supervisor, went over and above to make up for it! She and the other front desk and lobby staff greeted us with a big smile and warm welcome everyday! The drinks at the bar were great as was the live music

Restaurant staff and manager were also great! The complimentary snacks were a nice surprise We will be back!

The pool area was great and nice to lounge at We didn’t realize this hotel was pet friendly but we loved that Everybody was very kind and we will definitely stay here next time again

We stayed only for one night but we loved this hotel It is close to everything and the front desk service girls were very nice Although the room appliances were not new it didn’t matter for us, we just went to sleep

There is no parking included but you have a public parking next to the hotel, per hr(200) and per Day (2200), you just need to park and when leaving you will be charged for the hrs The pool was nice and at night it’s pretty

A wonderful stay! The room (Garden Suite) was charming and cozy Loved having our own little patio/garden The breakfasts were wonderful and very upscale

It was nice having snacks in our room with our own little refrigerator and kitchen Monique went out of her way to help us with tours and her staff was very professional I highly recommend it!

Athena Hobbins

My husband and I visited Savannah in August and stayed in the Carriage House and it was perfect! Monique and her staff were nothing but kind and helpful, it was obvious that they paid close attention to every detail Prior to visiting my sister had given me brunch recommendations, but Monique’s breakfasts were so good that we didn’t want to miss them! We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Savannah!

Ricky Moore

What an absolute gem The owner is amazing Our place was absolutely charming and right in the middle of the city with parking and easy proximity to everything we wanted to explore

They bring breakfast in the mornings, keep the refrigerator stocked, clean while you’re out and leave you wine and pastries in the evening Pet friendly too Our place (Jenkins House) had two bedrooms, a beautiful patio, a wonderfully charming living room and kitchen, beautiful artwork, and was priced the same as most of the hotels in the area We couldn’t have asked for a better situation Highly recommend

This hotel now makes the River area! It is super clean and the service is wonderful The art makes me think this should be one of Marriott’s Autograph properties There is art everywhere

Want to make a special call out to Heather at the front desk She added the extra touch of making you fell good when walking in the front doors Carolyn at Stone and Webster was top notch, and it was her second day on the job! We also had a wonderful server at the Baobab but didn’t get her name The Tamarind Martini is delicious and we returned for 1 every night of our stayOur room was in the lovely (and quiet) Music Building and had floor to ceiling windows so we could watch the huge ships going up and down the River

Came here on a Saturday afternoon during our weekend trip in Savannah I heard a lot about the area and wanted to check it out for myself The Staff of this place was very warm welcoming and the lobby was very nice

The beautiful rocks, artifacts, and statues were so amazing to look at A nice day trip spot to visit with the family to cool down and observe the beautiful gems

Tom Ogletree

The Marriott property is absolutely beautiful and amazing Keeping the structure of a building and putting a showplace inside was no small feat I’m sure They have exhibits of fossils and huge geological gems there

It’s simply stunning, a real boon to the west end of the Savannah river front Having grown up here, I’m even more proud of the investment that JW Marriott has placed in my city The roof top bar is spectacular

Azalea Inn was a little paradise! We stayed there for a last minute honeymoon when our original plans got canceled due to new travel restrictions a few days before our wedding Teresa made sure to make our alternate honeymoon feel just as special Her home-cooked breakfasts are amazing and it’s a wonderful treat to come back to homemade desserts every evening

The back courtyard is the real treasure of this inn, it feels like a paradise oasis I only wish the descriptions of the rooms were a bit more clear – I couldn’t tell which rooms had jacuzzi tubs and which didn’t, so we ended up in a room that didn’t have one

Susan Maunz

From the moment we walked through the door and saw Tom, The general manager it was a wonderful stay from beginning to end We met many charming people, the food was delectable, great tips and advice from Tom about places to go and experiences to have in the area The pool was a wonderful surprise, Just steps from our rooms private balcony, clean and refreshing in a secluded garden in the back

We look forward to staying here again Richard & Susan M

Mike Biese

Our stay at Azalea Inn was delightful My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary in Savannah for a week, and we chose the perfect Bed & Breakfast (Cotton Exchange room) The staff provided exemplary southern hospitality by patiently answering our endless questions with a smile, serving delicious food and evening desserts, and providing an extremely clean and quiet environment

If you are looking for a charming, quintessential Savannah experience, we highly recommend the Azalea Inn!

Kara Roberts Elmer

We stayed one night on our way to NC and were not sure what to expect Wanted a place with plenty of space and option to do laundry since we were travelling with a small child (didn’t end up needing to use it) For the cost of two hotel rooms in other nearby hotels, we thought this would make sense

Had some concerns based on other reviews, but our experience was extremely positive The low room rate and high cleaning fee makes staying here even more reasonable when you stay a few nights We received an email in the early morning the day we were supposed to check in with all the info you need to get to your room There was a little snafu with our reservation, but the customer service is outstanding and very responsive in a most timely mannerParking can be tricky, but we got lucky because it was the middle of the week and had no trouble parking on the street when needed (remember to check the times for when you need to pay to park) Parking garages are relatively close, but if you have a lot of stuff you’re going to want to try to park on the street to get everything up there and then go park in the garageThe entrance is hard to find (they explain well in the email, we were just anxious and ignorant) and when you enter you wonder what you may get into – trust me, don’t judge this book by the cover just yet! The place was impeccably clean and well stocked with anything you could need – they really did think of everything to provide as much comfort as possible during the stay Floors are hard wood and gorgeous The room(s) were beautiful and decorated in a modern, simple way They look and feel great There is so much space and it is easy to relax Having the appleTV was also another plus as they have their own account for most apps so you don’t have to use your own info and remember to log out The beds were very comfortable, plenty of pillows and blankets, and I just can’t say enough positive things about this place A full kitchen is so great when you have leftovers from all the amazing restaurants in Savannah! I did not have to sacrifice leftovers because I had a full size fridge so I could sneak in and eat it in the middle of the night The noise from the street was noticeable, but we were there in the middle of the week so it ended rather early (10-ish) The room away from the street did not have any noise issues If it was the weekend, I think anyone sleeping in a room by the street may get bothered if they need to get to sleep early and are light sleepers, otherwise just the level of white noise you’d expect being in any downtown (unless someone is singing very loudly, which one lady did one night but she had a great voice and it was a welcome intrusion)Photos are from the morning after we woke up, so we already made a little mess 🙂 Pics go from entrance and then room by room We were in unit 301Absolutely intend to stay here again Thank you to the staff and everyone with the Grant for a great stay and great service

Samuel Corkran

I was fortunate to find The Grant by Black Swan located in the heart of Savannah’s historical district My family really enjoyed our four day weekend due to the immediate proximity to everything we came to see The only short coming was that street for our hotel was under revnovation by the city which created a few challenges upon arrival and the building interior could use a new coat of paint

But everything worked well in the apartment! Thank you Black Swan for providing us with the high value of The Grant in Savannah!

Steven Collins

Convenient location, but lots of street people hanging out Entry was dark and grimy No cable TV, only internet

3 of 5 bulbs missing from overhead light in living room Lots of loud street noise at night People above us clunking around on their floor Someone else’s makeup on both sides of a washcloth No kleenex No one on site to help you After hours number is not helpful TV remote battery low and may not last the evening; said someone might be by to fix it tomorrow We were cut off in the midst of a text conversation by their after-hours phone number before anything was resolved It said call or text back tomorrow Really poor management and service This place will rob a lot of the joy from our week-long trip to Savannah We’ve been here less than 24 hours There are no refunds after 2 days from the date of booking (which we did weeks ago) And this place is not inexpensive! So, we’ll suffer through, I suppose

We Stayed in the Hotel for a night The room was very clean and spacious The best part was it had hardwood floor and was not fully carpeted, which i feel gave it a more hygenic feel

The view of the river was great the staff was nice and helpful They gave us a self guided walking tour map which we did and found it to be very convenient Eateries are walking distance and so are all the historic tourist spots Great stay, would love to go back!

ME Armentrout

Crazy great! Arrived and greeted promptly The hotel staff are very accommodating and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcomed Room is absolutely beautiful, extraordinarily clean and well stocked with the essentials

Robes, slippers, dirty clothes bag, steamer, hair dryer, fully stocked fridge, etc all included Nice touches to the room like Netflix on the TV, automatic lights in closets/cabinets, and a nice sectional for lounging We will definitely be returning!!

Love, Love, Love this hotel Stayed here about two weeks ago From beginning to end the staff was amazing and seem genuinely glad to be at work

I thought it was a nice touch that some of the team wore a Saint Julian pin (Saint of Hospitality) The rooftop experience is called Julian tying it all together The pool and cabanas were amazing! A nice casual walk gets you to the main section of River walk or you can take the water shuttle(complimentary)right next door They also have complimentary bicycles and the Savannah Dot trolley picks you up less than 100 feet away If you want to experience Savannah at it’s best and not necessarily stay in the tourist area, you’ve found your hotel!!

Excellent! This hotel is in a great location…close to many restaurants and bars As soon as we walked into reception we were greeted by a lovely woman (unfortunately can’t recall her name) I mentioned that my husband was parked at the front of the building

Not a problem, Kevin will go get him and show him where to park Everything was explained about the hotel They have a cooler full of complimentary soft drinks and water in the lobby…ice cold…no vending machines here Kevin took our luggage to our beautiful room 201 Living room, kitchen fridge stocked with complimentary ice cream bars…yum! Lovely bathroom and bedroom After touring around we went back to the hotel and went to the complimentary wine and cheese reception Lovely choices of wine with an ample cheese, cracker and fruit plate brought to our table The reception takes place in a large comfortable lounge with lots of seating Absolutely loved this hotel Kevin, you were wonderful!

We felt welcomed, comfortable, and everything in between

Charlotte Ciocco

The Perry Lane has ruined me for all future hotel stays! From the unlimited champagne from 11-2, the friendly staff and the amazing rooms! Best stay I have had in Savannah, hands down! The rooftop pool is perfect for getting a tan and enjoying a break Our room was clean and the bed so comfortable! Never would have guessed their was a bar open until 2am with the great sound proof windows in our room, just great, attention to detail hotel! Highly recommend!

Beautiful lobby and very nice rooms We had the corner king and it has a great view of the cathedral across the street The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is clean and a nice size

The windows open a little bit too for some fresh air! Breakfast menu has yummy options too Great hotel, staff, and valet staff! The valet guys are great!

Carla Mathews

This is an awesome place to stay, from the start valet helped us unload and get luggage to our room, check in awesome, staff was amazing Room is very comfy and large, most of all clean I requested extra towels an pillows prior to arrival and they were there for us

Concierge very helpful with our yours and so nice Loved the view from our room We look forward to our stay in June, can’t wait

rachel lynn

Cons – At check-in the front desk staff began complaining to us how bad things are at DeSoto and the staffing shortage They were right! Staff didn’t know who had what room, put us in wrong room, and couldn’t get us room we reserved We requested champagne be delivered upon arrival, and it was delivered to someone else! Coffee bar staff – great service first morning, but day after staff was too busy chatting amongst themselves, and were not the least bit concerned several customers were waiting to order

Room could have been cleaner, and had only 1 roll of toilet paper for several people in room Called Housekeeping and no one picked up after 2-3 minutes Had to go to front desk ourselves to retrieve toilet paper Good luck with the safe! Took several tries to lock and open every day, but glad we got it locked after reading prior reviewsPros – Beautiful lobby, great location and bar/patio/valet staff were awesome Becky tried helping with room and champagne – we received champagne following day but ended up in room we did not request because someone else had already checked in to room

First time staying in Homewood Suites and extremely happy This property is conveniently located to historic Savannah and right on the river Even if you don’t have a water view room, the rooftop bar has a great view

The rooms were spacious and our bedroom even had a ceiling fan which is what we are used to at home Included breakfast was nothing elaborate but was good and helped keep the travel expenses under control Only valet parking is available but it was convenient and the valet staff was very nice There is some road noise during the day but not at night when trying to sleep Definitely would stay at this property again!

Michelle Graafsma

My husbands and my overall experience at the hotel was great because it’s in Savannah! Conveniently located, close to a lot of great restaurants, very knowledgeable staff, great rooftop view of the river I give the hotel three stars because we did not receive the king bed we originally booked and were in a queen bed Also, when requested to change rooms, we could not change that evening and minimal effort was made by the hotel manager to change rooms and we ended up staying in the same room our entire stay

She offered to “call our room” but gave off the impression was sincerely the “least” she could do (Who waits by their hotel room phone? That’s why we have smartphones) As well as the pool area was not well kept water wise, creating a corner of hair and grime in the corner The pool was warm because the heated pool feature was not turned off during a very hot week in June (One day was real feel of 114) So yes, it’s a good hotel, the rest of the staff did do well, the valet works SUPER hard to be efficient, knowledgeable and welcoming There are shining employees at this location and great rooftop service for drinks and food I would come back and hopefully next time it will be running better after coming out of a pandemic

Sharna Rozin

We booked a regular room but were assigned an ADA-accessible room We went back to the front desk to say we didn’t feel right about taking this type of room when we are able-bodied The clerk was rude, rolled his eyes at us, and said the hotel was full, that was all they had

Yet he offered us a larger room for a substantial additional fee Were they full or not full? He acted like we were intruding on his time and wanted us to just go away The housekeeping staff needs training as well The bed was made up with the mattress cover as the top sheet Who does that? I tried reaching the manager 8 times after our stay I left messages each time and never got a return call Unacceptable The breakfast was fair and the staff in the dining room was very nice The valet parking was very expensive I know we could have made a much better choice in hotels Hilton was a disappointment

This is a well kept hotel with fun, if occasionally a bit “trying a little too hard”, touches (we got a free little gift in our mailbox when we arrived which was great but we laughed a little when it included a typed quote from Gandhi) The room was comfortable and the attention to detail was wonderful This would be an easy five for me but we had one issue with too much light in our room and it took two texts and two phone calls to get anything done about it and my texts were never responded to and I never received a call back

That being said, the issue was dealt with to my satisfaction but the communication was plain bad I worry that if we had a larger issue it would have been tougher However, I would stay again if the price was right so it was good overall

Jordan Pace

The Present made for a great stay in Savannah in a really pretty square with live oaks The rooms were clean with a comfortable bed, large shower, and having the coffee bar and a patio made for a relaxing morning the day of check-out The modern, non-front-desk check-in an check-out can be confusing, so know that’s what you’re getting into before arriving, but it was smooth with no hiccups

Highly recommend

My family and I stayed in this hotel on our trip to Georgia early January I am big on reviewing and personally, this hotel deserves it Initially, when we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome

The lobby has such a great smell, there are sanitary stations throughout the hotel The location 10/10 We couldn’t believe how close everything was Not once did we have to use the car This is where they exceeded my expectations when checking out, I ended up leaving a personal item behind and they went out of their way and shipped it to me (I live 8 hours away) Thank you to all the girls who helped me with this, my item arrived in perfect condition Couldn’t be more grateful! Overall, keep up the amazing customer service Can’t wait to be back!

LOVED IT! My wife and I booked this spot to stay while we prepped for our wedding and we were BEYOND satisfied One of the biggest reasons for this was our guest service agent Jamie Garfield She was incredibly sweet and helpful

She went above and beyond to give my wife and I AMAZING SERVICE 10 out of 10 would recommend HIRE MORE PEOPLE LIKE JAMIE!

Derek Fuller

The room was ok,it was clean but they echo every little noise No coffee in the morning until the breakfast is prepared which is ridiculous We could hear the room above us and next to us

You HAVE to use valet it’s the only option and it’s $39 The valet system was down so it took a long time to get our car The valet attendant was doing his very best though, and he was very polite and friendly even though this hotel has a cheap retrieval system I honestly felt bad for the guy I was very disappointed with my stay With the name Hilton I expect much more then a cheap hotel with a high price The area around the hotel had a lot of creepy vagabonds and homeless people blasting music and they were everywhere They even will walk by your table when eating and disrupt your meal to beg for money I was very very dissatisfied with the historic district

The beds were comfortable and the rooms and hallways quiet Slept well Beautiful river view

Staff were friendly Some customer focus is lacking from management The Starbucks was too small and could not support the demands of long lines of customers That was frustrating The hotel should just provide free coffee in the lobby like so many other hotels do In addition there were no vending machines and only one gift shop to provide drinks and snacks, when it was closed at 10 pm you couldn’t get anything at all to eat or drink, no room service The main restaurant was only fair it was typical with average quality hotel priced food We attended an outdoor wedding reception the setting was lovely , the catered food was better than the restaurant The valet parking/bell staff were excellentThere was no cleaning service for the rooms you had to request maid service and call the desk if you ran out of anything That was a post covid shocker to me after many years of traveling and having certain minimal / routine expectations of hotels

Lacey Frownfelter

My husband and I were so disappointed with our stay We paid $750 for 2 nights in an outdated room with an odor, stains on the sheets and walls, and minimal amenities The view of the river was nice, but it was blocked by a construction barge with a crane

We expected so much better, but you’re really just paying for the location and the brand On the positive side, the few staff we interacted with were very pleasant and welcoming, and I appreciated that they were all wearing masks But I definitely would not stay here again

Honestly, my wife and I stay was great The room was clean and spacious The ferry was always on time, the front desk staff was amazing

They were very knowledgeable of everything going on The ONLY downfall for our stay was the dance competition crowd The kids were running all through the hotel with no supervision from parents The pool was overly crowded, always Couldn’t really enjoy the poolside vibe because all the kids But that didn’t bother me to the point where my stay was interrupted

Nice hotel! I was expecting worse because the outside didn’t look great The inside was beautiful The room was clean and spacious

We had a 1 bed king suite with sofa Sometimes hotels have a smell but this one did not All the workers were friendly and helpful especially Monique at the front desk I did not really eat the breakfast because there is so much food in Savannah to try It was a comfortable hotel The location is great! We were able to walk everywhere in Historic Downtown This hotel is close to City Market and Broughton st We usually ended up in City Market which is where Vinnie Van Go Go, Prohibition Museum, Pie Society, and Lulu is which is a 5 minute walk to the hotel Definitely recommend

We only stayed for one night on a road trip but the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful The room was nice, a bit worn but clean and comfortable nonetheless It was very quiet despite having a pool view room

Valet parking is $30/night so factor that in Breakfast was actually pretty good, better than the average continental buffet The staff definitely made the shirt trip enjoyable and we’d be more than happy to stay again

Jim Kurtz

Spacious, clean, relaxing room Friendly accommodating staff Good breakfast

Was one of the best experiances we have had in a hotel overall Every staff member we encountered was very personable and pleasant The management should be proud or how well the entire staff represents the establishment They made our short stay in Savannah a wonderful and memorable one A true gem!

Dawn Seibert

Nice room Beautiful courtyardBut our 5 night stay recently was much less enjoyable with the poor breakfast service and offering

At least 20-25 people at breakfast every morning but the buffet hot trays were empty 90% of the time It didn’t help the situation when the woman from the kitchen would appear with a dozen or 15 overcooked breakfast sandwiches then they were gone immediately They ran out of fresh fruit and hard boiled eggs by 8 Too bad for the folks who showed up for breakfast after that Even ran out of coffee many times We should have gone out out for breakfast but kept thinking it was a fluke and would improve Is the management not even aware of this shortfall? No hand lotion in our room? I didn’t pack any since we were staying at a Marriott after allWe stayed at a Jacksonville, FL Marriott after this and were relieved to have a decent breakfastevery

I absolutely loved this hotel It was nicer and cleaner than a few of the Ritz hotels I’ve stayed at It was so beautiful and unique, and everyone was so nice

I’m picky about cleanliness and bedding being clean and sanitized and I felt it was one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed, recently I also loved that there is the ability to order food or appetizers at the bar and eat it outside in the fresh air by the pool or at the bar Sometimes you just want to not have to go look for food and it was really nice to have food available late at night at the hotel They also did a great job with the decor, it was unique but not over the top The room was different than most hotels these days, I loved the armoire with TV, safe and refrigerator in it I loved that it was unique but still had absolutely everything the modern traveler needs A few weeks before this stay I had stayed at a Ritz hotel and this hotel room was much nicer than the Ritz I stayed at The location is also perfect, being across from the park provided many chances for walks and exercise

Nic Welk

We enjoyed our stay here, but I’m not sure we’d stay again The bathroom was only separated by curtains, which made privacy non existent and I have two sons so of course that part wasn’t great I’m used to newer modern hotels, but I prepared myself for an older hotel with “charm” and that’s what this is

The bar was a nice place to sit and have drinks and eat some food but service is a little sub parI would not recommend room service We ordered breakfast and in addition to taking over an hour and a half, the food was way overdone with sauces and spices I guess it’s all from the next door restaurant 700 Dayton but my goodness, can you just get some normal eggs and pancakes?? It was mostly inedible, and we were not left with enough silverware or sides (like butter or syrup) anywayA great plus is the location You’re directly next to the park and in walking distance of historical downtown Savannah Also, Collins Quarter is just next door and we did enjoy a very nice breakfast there

Stayed 6 nights at Mansion on Forsyth Park for a much needed vacation with the family and our dog The Mansion was awesome Staff was outstanding

Very well kept Beautiful rooms, very clean, and the beds were so comfortable The valets were awesome and major kudos to the Concierge Charlie for arranging a 20th anniversary horse drawn carriage ride out to dinner Thanks Charlie!!

Stayed here while on a business trip to the Savannah area Hotel is in a good location with many stores & places to eat nearby Good sized rooms

We were on the first floor but didn’t experience any noise from outside or above our room Room was clean Included a desk that doubled as a table Had a small refrigerator, sink, coffee pot & microwave There was a full complimentary breakfast available in the morning that was very good with plenty of seating No issues during our 3 night stay The parking was convenient with additional space in the back Lot was well lit in the evening Overall, we found the Pooler area seemed nice & safe The hotel & surrounding places were family friendly & we felt safe shopping at night In addition, the hotel did a fine job hosting our business event

Robert Long

Good location and comfortable, but hotel needs some love and policy changesCheck in/out was fast and easy and staff was always helpful and polite The room was comfortable and the climate control was fantastic

Parking is free and there seems to be plenty The showers are not good and lack sufficient water pressure The pool was closed the entire timeThe hotel needs some detailed cleaning/maintenance For example, the waterfalls behind the check-in counter are non-functional and in disrepair The lobby fountain is covered in green algae   These two things are the very first thing you see upon entering and immediately lower the appealThe hotel is extremely wasteful The amount of waste generated from breakfast alone is appalling and can’t be blamed on COVID any longer The same can be said about the managers reception Everything is plastic wrapped This might be tolerable if the hotel offered a recycling option, but it does not

Raul Barboza

Overall it is an excellent place It is your typical Embassy I didn’t give it a 5 star because the rooms needed a little attention

The room was missing 3 important items: iron, iron board and the do not disturb sign Everything was easily corrected The entrance door to the room needs to be fix, very hard to open I will report the door on my departure day

We enjoyed our stay The room was clean The staff was helpful and friendly

The breakfast was deliciousThere were a few minor inconveniences (our room didn’t have enough towels, we were missing hand soap and shampoo, and the pool towels were too small to even be considered towels) but nothing that would keep us from visiting here again Great value for the price

Lisa Torrini

Pros first: Friendly staff, great location off I95 near decent restaurants, pet friendly, clean room and hotel, good breakfast, nice pool areaCons: Ripped bedspread which we noticed when we first arrived in the room, we took photos and then immediately brought the bedspread to the front desk Clerk did not replace it, told us to bring it back to our room and said she would report it

We did not hear back, so no bedspread for the night We put it in the closet, as we did not want to damage it further, then in the morning left it out with a note on it for the cleaning staff to see, and reported it to the front desk again in the morning The morning clerk wrote it up, we don’t know how it was handled after that It would have been nice to have been acknowledged by management so we didn’t feel like we might be somehow held responsible, and it also would have been nice to have a replacementWe also reported and took photos of the huge approx 1′ gouge on the right base of the credenza It was obvious that it was not new, but we wanted to report it, similar to a walk around with a rental carWe generally try to stay at La Quintas, staff is usually friendly and professional and we like that they are pet friendly This is the first negative review we’ve posted

Although the people were very friendly and the room seemed clean, my mother woke up, turned on the lights and had a cockroach next to her It 8 AM, which is later than the normal hours for cockroaches and typically means a wider infestation (I unfortunately discovered this after doing some research on their cockroaches) It also didn’t move when the lights were turned on and it saw us…also not a good sign for infestations

It was alive when we captured it and gave it to the front reception We were told to email the manager Just as horrifying as the event itself is the fact it has now been 48 hours since my mother sent the manager an email with a photo and she has not received a response!!! This is completely unacceptable We have stayed at this hotel before and not had an issue but based on the lack of response from the manager over such an event we will no longer stay here (I confirmed the email address was correct based on the business card my mother was given from the reception) Apparently, they don’t think cockroaches are a big deal in your bed, so beware if you are staying here! (I will update this on the off chance the manager ever responds to my mother’s email)

Bluegreen sales people the minute you get the phone call the staff was rude The sales person was nice, but what the tend to leave out is maintenance fees of $811 a year I told them about the rude staff and if they wanted to sell a product the customer is always right and they said they would make it right by me

Yeah that did not happen they said good by to me right then

K

Unfortunately this 2/5 review has nothing to do with the quality of room or service, and everything to do with the Bluegreen sales women Upon arriving, 3 sales women began asking us what the name on our reservation was and if we were interested in a sales pitch regarding timeshares/Bluegreen Both my husband and I politely refused

I personally had to say NO 4 different times I am firm about saying “no thank you” and yet, we were asked 4 different times in 4 different ways- we were offered a $100 gift card, free vacation, etc etc to attend one of their talks Although I said no (without reason because I do not need to give one), then I explained we’re only in Savannah for 2 days and that’s why, then one of the saleswomen said she’ll schedule me for “8:30pm tomorrow night” to attend a sales pitch because “it’s only an hour” I said no once more All of this took place while waiting for the elevatorThis was irritating, frustrating, and entirely unnecessary when we just arrived after driving hours on the road to get there We have never received such pressure at any other Bluegreen location (we’ve attended the Gatlinburg, Orlando, and Aruba locations as well) When my husband had to go back downstairs since our room keys weren’t working, he was approached by the same saleswoman who began to ask him if he used “bonus points” for the reservation and if he was an “authorized user” because she believed we weren’t really allowed to stay here The front desk person quietly apologized for this woman’s behavior, but it was still completely unacceptable The room itself was very nice, the location was prime, and the rest of the stay we were unbothered but to start the trip out this way- all I can say is sheeeeeeesh I doubt we will be back as a result If people say no once, then accept that If you need clarification, then fine- one more no But 4 times? It’s a shame and a slap in the face to females everywhere that a woman didn’t understand the word no Please work on these aggressive and distasteful sale tactics moving forward

Cindy Burgess

Everyone was very helpful and so sweet from Checking in to parkingI did not catch the parking ladies name, I believe she was over parking, she seen us waiting on our ride and she came over and was so sweet she gave our family member with special needs a snack and water She just came right up to us like family, it was very nice

Bluegreen has always been good to me!! But this time they showed me another side of them So grateful!!
