A little pricey for having limited facilities However, it was right on the boardwalk trai and you could walk the 15 miles to the harbor light from here

The room was comfortable enough, and staff was attentive and friendlyStill, not entirely sure it was worth $200 per 6bight after tax

The place was not bad, but the following day we went on a charter boat upon return @ 11AM I went back into the hotel and asked if there was a place to change clothes ( I was in shorts and needed to change to pants since I was on a motorcycle) since I could not get back in my room The staff told me there are no public restrooms and I would have to find somewhere else to change

This is a great two star hotel! We loved that it was close to the beach and the state park You can walk to restaurants and the shore We brought a box fan as noise travels from the hallway

The full size beds were too narrow for my husband and I so we brought an air mattress for our kids We got a room with double beds that was non smoking The room was clean and smelled fresh There was a generous breakfast with juice, frozen sandwiches, coffee, yogurt… the staff was nice and responded to our requests Overall it was good for its rating and we kept our vacation on budget

We were pleasantly surprised by our stay The google photos don’t do justice to the cleanliness and how nice the place actually is I would suggest the owner update the photos

The brown duvet covers could be updated to a lighter color and it would really change the look of the room A more neutral wall color would also be nice They were very clean, but I would recommend some bleach on the towels

We’re staying there with a group of 12 This was Feb 2021

“Pandemic times”We were talked to by the manager for playing music in the swim area and having 1 person too many in the hot tub(5) He yelled at us like we were kids (I’m 45yrs old) Said he was going to shut the entire pool down if we didn’t listen We did and no more problems We all chuckled after he left since most of the staff had chin masks on, but we had 5 people in the chlorine filled hot tub!

Do Zse

Small 2 story motel Friendly courteous service Room clean, and good size for the price

Tub/toilet area a tight squeeze Bedspread had seen better days but everything else was in good shape Breakfast included cheesy egg omlettes in a warmer, selection of baked goods, cereal, fruit, yogurt Didn’t use pool or hot tub, but other guests seemed to be enjoying themselves there

Disclaimer: I’m a pretty low maintenance middle aged lady and pretty easy to please With that said, I must say that I absolutely loved this place Stayed in the Inn on Woodlake in the two bedroom suite with two friends and had way more space than we needed

It was terrific Staff there was great and they had updated their breakfast from previous reviews We visited the Kohler Design Center, visited the Shops at Woodlake, bought snacks at the Woodlake Market and enjoyed it all We also visited the Kohler Water Spa and that was fabulous There were a lot of wonderful young women and men taking care to keep the common areas clean and refreshed The services that I received from Jessica and Donna were wonderful-both ladies were very professional and attentive We ate at the spa cafe-again wonderful We went from Wednesday afternoon until Friday noon at the end of April and did not feel crowded Thank you to all of the staff for the incredible work you do The reservation staff was also amazing Nick and several others answered all of my questions and made changes several times for me There were no surprises in terms of billing for me-another reviewer had mentioned issues with this earlier I believe that the staff has taken customer suggestions/concerns seriously It is expensive, but I felt that it was worth it It kind of felt like being in Austria to me Wonderful experience and I hope to be able to returnTrip typeFriendsRooms50Location50Service50

Our 6-night stay at the beautiful and historic Rochester Inn was delightfulContactless check in is a breeze and self parking is right outside the entrance to the innOur lovely 2-story suite was well appointed with nice furnishings that gave us a feeling of being in a house, and the bed and linens were super comfortable

The bath had a separate shower and a oversized tub The suite was super clean and very quiet Our favorite part of the day was when the innkeepers, Ray and Kelly, showed up at our door right at our requested time with a beautiful breakfast tray The food was delicious and nicely presented on lovely platesMany kudos to this lovely team of innkeepers for their hospitality and personal attention to details

Carl Nerup

Brilliant We stayed in the Garden Suite and all my wife could say when we checked in was exceptional First, I think it was due to how immaculate the place was on the clean front

Two, working air conditioning is nothing to take lightly Third, the suite was tasteful and welcoming For being so close to Kohler and all it’s amenities, this place is nicely kept secret for folks with discriminating taste that desire something a bit more personal Oh, and the food in the morning is brilliant Would stay again

D Klafka

If you’re looking for a beautiful, quiet romantic retreat this is the place! A boutique B&B nestled in the cute Sheboygan Falls downtown area perfect for that weekend away with someone special Kelly, the Owner and Innkerper, is so friendly and extremely helpful and ensures that every guest is well taken care of Breakfast is delivered fresh to your room and so delicious! We had cinnamon almond crusted French toast and sausage! Loved every detail down to the complimentary waters, coffee bar, lip balm and bath salts

The tub rooms are a must have! Beds are super comfortable with plenty of pillows to share We will definitely be back to visit again!

Friendly staff but disappointed in service We were told at check in put your dirty towels and trash in front of your room and they’ll give you clean towels due to Covid We did that but when we returned several hours later no towels and the bed was never made up

If the concern was Covid not one staff member had a mask on at anytime At the price of a room you should be able to get better service Using Covid as an excuse?

We were looking into this property as a venue for our wedding, however we chose not to even tour the property due to a text that was sent to us mistakenly by one of the owners when we texted him to say that we had arrived for our scheduled tourI’m not able to upload the screenshot of the conversation, but basically we were lied to and when we confronted them they blew up and were very unprofessional! Save your money and time…don’t bother with these people, they lie and them get upset and make it your fault when you call them out!

Adele Affholter

My husband and I had our renewal of vows/ wedding reception here Nate and his staff were wonderful! Very helpful but also out of the way It was impressive the amount of work they were able to accomplish behind the scenes

We received so many compliments on the venue Plus, having the place for the entire weekend meant no one was rushing us out at any certain time Very relaxing and memorable weekend for us and everyone else

Robert Hawl

Alone and uncomfortableThe first and last time we will visit a bed and breakfast Felt like we were trespassing from the beginning We understand owners had family obligation that day, but why have customers if you can’t be there? We were okay until we read the reviews from previous guests in the room books

They had a fantastic time that we had nothing of We left early because we still woke up sore from a very uncomfortable bed still feeling uncomfortable in this environment The water also smelt horribleWould not recommend as a 200$ motel

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Harbor! The resort is very clean and the rooms were spacious The views on the lake side of the resort were amazing! Worth every penny to be facing the lake The water park was fantastic

Our kids (ages 12 and 9) had so much fun and the adults did too! We rode waterslides, the lazy river, the surfing simulator and we really loved the basketball hoops in the pools The water park including the locker rooms was very clean and well cared for The staff at Blue Harbor were very nice and friendly We noticed several staff members enjoying themselves with co-workers when they were off their shift and we found that very appealing If everyone who’s there loves the place, then they’re very likely to take good care of it! The beach was a little bit of a disappointment – the sand was filled with small dead fish and the water was freezing It would be worth it for the resort to have an agreement with the city to rake and clean the beach Overall, we highly recommend Blue Harbor!

When I arrived it looked like a castle 🏰!Such a nice structure, navy color patterns, and windows that allow natural light come throughout the lobby!Dreamy😍The bedroom had a chimney and a living room, so invitingI felt so much at peace there, I was able to rest and forget about everything and everyoneThe noise is minimal even during day hours

The service is very professional and polite, never felt discriminated or neglectedThank you, BHR!I didn’t try the restaurant inside the resort or the water park, not even the pool; but they all look good for a good timeThey also have a mini golf course, I wish I had more timeThe views are to die for, especially with the fog, I felt like if I was part of a story book 💞The thing that impressed me the most was how fast the hot water comes out, two seconds and you are ready for a calming shower/bath, love it!It’s a place for families, for people that wants to get away from it all, for people that wants to see lake Michigan while enjoying an ice cream from a chair 🥰I recommend itPricey but worth it 🙂

Well recommended!

Inn on Woodlake was a disappointment, but the situation that followed is my real reason for a one star review When we checked out, we had a gift card in the amount of $1,000 that we planned to use to cover our stay and spa services The woman at the desk processed the gift card and she said we didn’t owe anything ($434 had already been charged to my credit card when we booked) and that the entire gift card had been used

When we questioned her on that and asked for an invoice, she assured us that everything was correct and she would email us the invoiceI did my due diligence to look at the invoice and turns out that she only used around $800 of the gift card and the rest was charged to my card My red flags are telling me that she planned to keep the money for herself on the gift card, but I called to give the benefit of the doubt She knew right away what I was talking about and said she would send the gift card to me in the mail with the remaining balance She did not include reference to her mistake when she emailed me the invoice AND she did not call me to tell me of the error I had to call her – this is a huge red flagI reiterated that that was not what we wanted We wanted our credit card refunded partially so that the gift card was used in its entirety She said she would make that change and send a new invoice Which she did BUT my bank has not received any notice of a refund, which again leads me to believe that it was never actually processed I’ve called the manager and her response to deal with the situation was to say “that doesn’t sound like something this employee would do” and “it was her last day, maybe she was in a rush” Those are not good excuses If it was her last day, she should know full well how to process a gift cardStill nothing has been done to remedy the situation and I’ve called twice I must say that any relaxation we received at the spa has been completely undone This is the not the Kohler experience that I expected I will never return to Inn on Woodlake and I’m still waiting on my refund from this situation in the amount of $138

The grounds are beautiful, staff beyond excellent and would like to go back for continued visits

Jane Forcier

We went for the girls weekend Stayed in the Carriage House, so we lived in our robes The staff was amazing

The spa was everything we were expecting and more Only downside to the accommodations was the pullout bed The thing needed to be replaced But extra pillows and comforters were used to make up for what it lacked in structure We are already planning next years trip

The guest service here is phenomenal! I am having my wedding near by and stopped in to check the place out Ashley was super helpful and knowledgeable about the hotel She was super quick to help us and even gave us a tour

The guests all appeared to be having a great time and the rooms looked super spacious and nice You could easily fit three families comfortably in the two bedroom suite and it makes the price absolutely worth it! Highly recommend

Kelly Anderson

I really enjoyed my stay here! The location is great – right in downtown for restaurants and a quick walk to the riverwalk or marina The front desk staff were always welcoming and friendly The one bedroom was quite large

I was only there for a few days, but it had everything I needed It was very clean and comfortable I brought my dog and the dog fee was very reasonable They even put the dogs by the back door to make it easy for potty breaks, which I really appreciated My only critique was I wish the TVs were more updated, but that was minor Thanks for a great stay and we’ll definitely be back!

Jason McDonald

Staff was very friendly both at check in and check out (less than 12 hours apart this trip) My room was clean and comfortable It may not mean much to others, but I especially appreciated the laundry basket provided in the bathroom and the fact that there was a separate recycling bin

I would definitely stay here again, especially for a multi-night stay
