The manager/attendant I spoke with showed some racist attitude towards me I have an accent but speak fluent English when I first called to make the reservation the person I spoke with had clear difficulties understanding me Messed up my reservation never apologized never ever sent an email to confirm although she said she did she even kept repeating that I had booked the room for one adult I might have a foreign accent but to turn me around like that the reservation was made for 3 adults and 3 dogs initially then only 2 dogs !The room is filthy old and in horrid conditions

Update: I raised score from 1 star to 2 The manager reached out to me to apologize for the stay and credited me with my points She did advise me that the hotel is slated for updates and most of the concerns would be addressed

Horrible experience Too much to list I have photos that Marriot should be ashamed of The staff was cold/rude at first but I wouldn’t let up and eventually, she opened up and cracked a smile The room was falling apart, stained carpets and couches, one closet door, large screws protruding from cabinet walls, the shower was a wreck and gross, dining chair was ripped and falling apart It shows very well in the photos but not in the room we hadThe hot tub was out of order as well I do have to say that we felt we were treated differently than other patrons (some other reviews mentioned the same thing) Maybe cause we are from the north, not too sure, but I am overly friendly to everyone no matter didn’t get the same feeling in returnMade a complaint to Marriot and they gave me 5k in points after I had to redeem 20k in points to stay herecomplete waste! Oh and try to find a number to call Marriot to complaingood luck I will stick with Hilton properties and customer service!!

All the rooms are very clean the rooms are different and more homestyle separate for bedrooms and a fireplace and a kitchen it’s just wonderful place to stay I still stayed in hundreds of hotels and the staff is wonderful the place is clean again and I highly recommend to stay here exercise room a pool the breakfast is fine and they have a keys here there’s really excellent for breakfast it was a great stay In regard to that person’s pocketbook being stolen that could happen anyway it can happen in the church so no matter there just use wisdom and praise the Lord amen

Affordable Suites cancelled our reservation (made without issues through hotelscom) the day we were arriving They called as we were traveling to Fayetteville and refused to honor our reservation, stating another customer had just offered cash for the room

This left us scrambling for another hotel room the day of our arrival, while we were traveling The entire process felt like a scam (the hotelscom representative we spoke with agreed) and we would warn against anyone booking with this hotel in the future

Mike Djev

I didn’t stay, but I booked a room through a booking site and I got an email that the hotel is trying to contact me I called the hotel directly and I spoke to Brad on the phone Brad was very helpful as he explained that the hotel was fully booked but the booking sites sometimes screw up the information

Brad gave me the info on another hotel, apologized and an even offered me a free night if I’m ever back in Fayetteville Excellent customer service Thanks Brad for all of your help

Summer Gaud

Didn’t even get a chance to stay here Reservation was automatically cancelled the day of my arrival and I have never spoken with a more rude and disrespectful individual in my entire life I travel a lot for work and this was the worst phone experience with a hotel

The individual did not even ask for any info just told me to not bother showing up What?? I knew it was going to be cheap but did not expect that level of low!!

My first time here The hotel was ok overall However the room they offered me was in first floor and there was so much of noise coming from second floor even just with walking

Probably the floor is too thin So I only recommend to stay on higher floor or May be highest floor if you want a sound sleep Location is great with many restaurants around in walking distance

I feel leaving reviews at the hotels in Fayetteville is necessary to help my fellow travelers This is a great Courtyard by Marriott even if it is a little dated Very clean rooms and super friendly staff

The site could definitely use some modern upgrades in Marriott needs to change how they do breakfast at their Courtyard locations But if you are traveling and need a safe clean place to stay that is in a decent part of town this is a great pick

Nita Price

My husband and I stayed as well as my brothers and sisters in-law during the Thanksgiving Holiday while visiting family Staff was welcoming and very friendly The room were immaculate and everything had been cleaned

Covid-protection standards are used I felt safe while in my room The sheets, pillows, bedspreads were sparkling white Unfortunately, I did not take any photos They have breakfast, but you must pay for it There is a refrigerator, microwave, and a coffee machine in each room There is a semi-circle sofa with an ottoman which I thought the design of it was so beautiful Bathroom and sink area had soap, shampoos, conditioners at each location If you needed any extra towels or change out your towels, it was done swiftly No delays Will definitely stay again Next time I will make sure to take some photos for you all

The hotel has a nice atmosphere when you are in the lobby and the rooms are clean and modern The complementary breakfast is really good and they also have complementary drinks two per person per day from 5:30 pm to 7:30 Pm The laundry and the gym are also a good addition

Customer service is excellent and the room service food is decent enough My only problem was that they have no security in the parking lot and when you are walking around you can see people doing drugs in their cars and close to the hotel main entrance and that takes a lot from the relaxing and worry free experience that you are supposed to have while on vacationThe pool could be better specially the jacuzzi The male bartender needs to be more customer service oriented and have a better attitude towards guests but on the other hand the female bartender is very professional and nice They are also pet friendly Even with the few negative things I highly recommend this Hotel

First time staying at Embassy Suites and we had wonderful 3 night stay here First and foremost, I wanted to commend Marcos, our server/waiter during happy hour, dinner and breakfast He was very attentive to our needs and provided outstanding care and customer service! Hope he gets the recognition he deserves

We had a very pleasant stay, we had dinner here twice and loved the food and variety that was offered and the desserts were delicious! Definitely looking to stay at Embassy Suites again in the near future!

The bar service in the evening is AMAZING 10 stars for the bartender The pool area is very nice The bedding is super comfortable The lighting ambiance of the room is very relaxing I enjoyed the rainfall shower head You will enjoy daily housekeeping without having to request it Check-in and out was very smoothCons: I wished the water pressure was increased, but it’s manageableNo meat vegan options if you’re vegetarian

Close to major highways, restaurants, and a mall I booked this with points even though I was in town on business The hotel is very nicely appointed

The entry was clear of clutter and very bright Check-in was a breeze with very courteous workers that were professionally dressed I was upgraded to a suite Upon arrival in the room I was surprised at the spaciousness of it, exceptionally clean and comfortable The bathroom was large with a shower and jetted tub There was a business desk with cat 5 network connections along with a separate TV In the bed area was a large closet with built in safe If one needed a room to work out on a trip this is the place I stayed at a competitor hotel the previous weeks and the rates were the same if paying by credit card That being said this is my new go-to hotel when I came back to Fayetteville which will be multiple times this year Oh, I forgot to mention, they have a bar and a complimentary hot breakfast in the morning Also, a nice outdoor pool and a workout room All employees and staff were courteous I very seldom rate anyone or business a five as I believe that is rated for exceptional places This is one

I have mixed reviews on this establishment My partner and I stayed at this location for 24 days on business During our initial check the host was extremely nice but unfortunately we had issue with the first room

We offered another room which ultimately had more issues She did make us aware they are doing some maintenance renovations We ended up staying in the first room and noted the issues we had Maintenance came and fixed a couple of the issues well attempted to but made one worse No big deal we moved forward Throughout our stay most staff were friendly and spoke Others not so much which is fine The week of checkout we were called about an issue with not having a card on file for incidentals Upon checking in we definitely had to place a card on file for check in In fact there was an hold on my card for $1050 Not a problem due to the fact our stay was for 30 days My partner attempted to pay for charges we had placed on the room from the bar 2 drink and some chips The host was unable to close out the tab stating he was not sure how to do it so we would need to come back to the front date the next and have the manager do so Again not a problem The next day we get a call stating their is no card on file for incidentals I questioned that knowing a card was provided upon check in Long story short the company pays for our stay but we are required to provide our own personal card for incidentals We did that but somehow the card on file was deleted Instead of them stating what happened the supervisor was dismissive and curt in his explanation He did not listen to what I was saying instead decided to talk over me and make a mute point I was very dissatisfied with how I was treated in such a minute matter Due to my partners job we travel a lot Needless to say when return back to Fayetteville in a week this will not be the hotel we return to Thank you to the house keeping staff that was always pleasant and helpful as well as the few front desk host that always had a great attitude Your kindness doesn’t go unnoticed

Nice hotel! Very pleased with my stay They lived up to their 100 sanitation score Room was clean, the furniture was nice and not old and worn out

Room smelled fresh, and the bathroom was clean Sheets and linen were bright and white with no stains Great lighting in the room Full length two sided mirrors The Starbucks on site was on point The chef was amazing They thought of everything at this hotel In addition to all that they provided great customer service as well

Liz Scott

We stayed here as a rest stop for a very long drive We did check in using the mobile app and our key was ready when we arrived The night desk person saw our fatigue, wished us well and told us to have a good night with a smile with our late night check in

The next morning, we needed an extra set of towels and the desk manager provided customer service with a smile Super clean facility The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the plumbing kept going off sporadically throughout the night and the air conditioner was loud I definitely would recommend this Marriott

S Greene

I wish I could give 10 stars I canceled a reservation at Hampton Inn because they were a little rude and not at all accommodating last week when I stayed there on my way down to Florida My stay at this Courtyard by Marriott has been wonderful

Tara has been so kind, helpful, and accommodating I drove over 12 hours today with a knee and hip injury and could barely walk by the time I got to my room I placed an order with DoorDash but the driver refused to bring it to my room Tara went above and beyond and brought it up for me I’m so grateful for her help I truly appreciate her Going forward, this will be my permanent hotel when driving between NJ and Florida Michelle is also very kind and helpful Finally, the beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept in

The check-in process was smooth The front desk lady could stand to speak a little slower considering I had to ask her to repeat herself a time or two and I talk pretty fast My room was clean and smelled fresh

We did run out of shower gel because it was near empty but I travel with my own accessories so that wasn’t a biggie The sheets were the absolute softest sheets I have ever laid on They were silky feeling and smooth! My skin/body loved it After check out I realized I lost one of my diamond earrings and called the front desk to report it She took my number and said she would follow up after speaking to the housekeeper and she did just that I went back and got my earring and left a tip This stay was wonderful I would definitely stay again and I am a true Hilton girl so that says a lot! Oh and the pantry wasjust what was needed for late night

Elizabeth Blankenship

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at this vacation and the best nights sleep we got Everything in the hotel was spotlessly clean from the soft sheets to the crisp white towels to the nicely stocked kitchenette There were extra towels in the bathroom and the full sized Dove products made for a nice shower

We were traveling with our dog and appreciated that the walls were thick and the hallways were low traffic so that she could rest easy in a new place without being disturbed by noises in the hallway This hotel has the feel of somewhere well cared for and is an incredible value for the price I would highly recommend it!

Elizabeth Cabo

Stayed here for 9 months due to work, and this place is always clean! No bed bugs, no weird smells Rooms are well insulated so you cant hear the neighbors Laundry facility works great, and i love that its free

Dogs are happily allowed and no room has ever smelled of animal The girls at the front desk are all great! Kitchenette has everything you need too! Overall perfect stay!

Our room was clean and spacious The staff were friendly and professional It is in a prime location to go anywhere in the Fayetteville area

The breakfasts were rough Everything tasted “fake” The eggs brought back memories of powdered eggs from my early Army days The sausage gravy was very runny and watered downI encourage staying here but keep measured expectations if you partake in breakfast here

Jesse Medeiros

Place really needs an overall! Everything is subpar Band-Aids to fix simple things Internet speed is back in the year 2010

Carpet is coming up everywhere, walls have scratches all over them Wallpaper is a huge patch job Tile is missing Washer and dryer needs to be replaced AC is locked on 70 when its over 100 outside Just an awful hotel Only positive was staff was very professional and courteous

Stayed 4/22 & 4/23/22 Very clean rooms and clean overall Very comfortable beds

Beds are very high, so bring a step stool if short Great breakfast & friendly breakfast attendant Check in desk associate on Friday night was very friendly and helpful Appreciate the bag gifts for Rewards members On Saturday night the blonde female desk associate was rude and acted aggravated, when I disturbed her and bought two waters from the vending store (Water was $250 each, little much for Nestle water) Sunday morning check out desk associate (male in a suit) not friendlychecked us out, never spoke and walked off, even when I spoke first and gave a compliment about our stay Will stay again and I recommend staying here

Angelina Warren

IF YOU INSIST ON STAYING AT THIS HOTEL OPPOSED TO THE MANY OTHER HOTELS SURROUNDING IT, BOOK ONLINE!!!1 star for cleanliness and 1 star for location The other 3 stars are lost due to a poor selection of front desk staff and lack of training First I called and was placed on hold for so long that I actually arrived at the hotel before staff answered

I stood at the front desk for 30 minutes if not more, trying to get checked in (I was the only person at the desk) I asked for a 2 night stay, paid for a 2 night stay, received a receipt under my door for a 2 night stay, but my credit card was charged FOUR NIGHTS STAY I saw this error the next morning and immediately inquired Of course there was a different staff member who said “it’ll come off” That wasn’t the point why were the additional charges there? Conveniently, the supervisor was not available I”m still waiting for it to “come off”

Ferdinanda Nichols

Decent lodging and not a worry for safety encountered and that is importantWhile the hotel was clean, the bathroom was missing a shower curtain, the toilet paper was not full and the tub clogged for two nightsWhen we bought the matter of the tub to the front desk, the representative offered to change our rooms, but by then the hour was late and to change of rooms at that late hour presented an additional inconvenience, rather than a standard change of rooms

Stopped here on our way back to Florida from Baltimore Right off I-95 so location was great Very comfortable bed, clean room, and QUIET

We got great sleep Complimentary breakfast was also surprisingly great! Staff was very kind and courteous which we very much appreciated This was our best hotel stop on our road trip! Would highly recommend

Paul Theisen

My last couple expiriences with my go to Hilton we’re not good so though a long time Hiltons Honor member I decided to make a change in Hotels while staying in the same class I was very happy with my choice of the Holiday Inn in Fayettville It was likely as clean as any any 3 or 4 star hotel I have stayed in

Bed was comfortable, everything worked though tub spout was broken Breakfast was okay may be new go to

Leah Weaver Harlowe

Not enough staff to bring a couple more towels up and when I reported a big puddle of water in front of the fridge (huge slip and fall hazard) all I got was, I’m sorry, our maintenance person isn’t here He’ll fix it in the morning We’ll, we’re checking out first thing in the morning

Hopefully neither of us slip and fall going to the bathroom in the middle of the night Not a great start to our vacation How about moving us to another room?

From the front desk staff to the Bistro everyone was friendly and wonderful This is the second time my husband and I stay here and it’s always a good experience Amy the bartender was helpful and the food was delicious

Blessings to all of you for working hard to help everyoneThe bedroom was clean and the beds were very comfortable The cookies are always AMAZING!!

Customer service is great, but the hotel itself could be updated or be better taken care of The air unit in 305 was not working The temperature had risen to 81 – on the air conditioning setting

The gal at the front desk moved to me room 114 and called 10 to 15 minutes later to make sure I was comfortable Would I choose to stay at that particular hotel again Maybe, but probably not

James C Reynolds

This was my third time staying at this hotel over the years It had been about 4 years from the previous time, so I was a little let down to see that the hotel and rooms have yet to be updatedThe hotel was very clean, and the A/C was welcoming

And the price could not be beat, $99 for a 2 room suite Also the back parking lot was huge, ample room to park my truck and trailerOne favorite about the doubletree hotels are the warm chocolate chip cookies at check in, YUM!
