Great location for a week Clean and great staff Manager was an expert at handling issues

However, some variables that need addressedPesticides smell: travel a lot and never experienced this anywhere else It not pesticides, some distracting smell existsSecurity: door locks could be upgraded Window lock are actually broken in certain rooms Definitely the one I stayedBottom line: a great place and recommend

The Courtyard Springfield is a somewhat run down hotel that does not live up to the other Marriott properties we have visited Bathrooms were marginal in upkeep (Running toilets, squeaky and hard to close doors, damaged towel racks)$10 per person parking fee

Three of us arrived in one car so our one night parking fee was $30 for a single vehicle When we booked, the website gave us the total with all fees Did not include any parking fees Seems like a backdoor way to hide the real cost of the roomAC could not keep the room cool or control the humidity Not a comfortable nightIn general would not recommend this hotel There are many other better options within a couple of miles

Kristi Germ

The rooms had an odd smell The mattresses were nasty Urine or throw up stain on mattress near the head of the bed

The other mattress had what looked like dried boogers or bed bug shells in the cracks The windows open, but the screen was completely ripped so we had to keep it shut Cost extra to park and breakfast is not included Not worth the $170 Won’t return*Pictures attached

I visited this location for a conference The entry way is contemporary and the decor quickly creates a visually stimulating atmosphere There are ample places to sit and gather, talk, relax, or have a bite to eat

There are various areas to also work or take a phone call in the lobby areas and areas that are in each floor The conference area is easily accessible and is multifaceted in it’s design The staff is quite amazing for assistance I can’t say enough about this as I was a sighted person attending a conference for the American Federation of the Blind leadership Conference The entire organization ensured everything was accessible for attendees and guide dogs They were stellar in their customer service and hospitality with this situation

Very clean and modern rooms Fridges are in the rooms which is always a wonderful thing I love the lighting in the room! Everything is fresh and vibrant! I think the bathroom is a tad small but it has an industrial look so it’s sort of gets away with it

Also it has an Ethernet plug!!! Always a good thing!!! Overall I really enjoy this hotel great customer service and great design! And nice views from the 14th floor

My stay has always be amazing! Hotel is close to everything you need and surrounding areas– National Harbor, mall, monument

etc The front desk, security, other staff and valet attendants treat you with respect with great member service My recent stay was June 29- July 1st and it was superb I had a personal, unexpected situation on my behalf and Irene was able to come up and help assist me (in which she did not have to) She checked on me throughout my stay and gave me the most sweetest and genuine wisdom there and at my car during my departure I did not get the valet attendants names but they went beyond my expectations Late night room service (delicious, and flavorful), pool, restaurant inside hotel and near and other hotel amenities are a Plus! I always refer others to stay here Keep doing a terrific job, and providing superb service to your guests You have a loyal member/guest from me and my family Blessings to you all😊❤ See you soon!!

What a terrible shame I had every intention of leaving a five star review for this hotel until my experience this morning with the general manager First let me start with the positive

The weekend crew is absolutely amazing Everyone is friendly and pleasant I had moved to Homewood after a horrendous stay at another hotel I was so relieved to finally rest in a spacious, clean hotel with exceptional service The front desk even helped to accommodate my aroma sensitivities The room also comes with membership to Golds Gym which was a great perk which I sadly was unable to use, but is a great option The front desk team even checked in the second day to see how everything was and it was fantastic The breakfast on the weekend was also really terrific with sweet potato fries along with the usual eggs and two choices of meat Also, there were numerous choices of breads, bagels, muffins, etc and a variety of fruit I didn’t actually eat much and looked forward to Monday Sadly, none of this was availableThe breakfast had one meat, only bagels and only “delicious” apples, which I abhor I found this odd, but ok…I will accept it Then, as I’m trying to relax with my rather limited breakfast, the general manager came over and started sweeping the floor near me…sweeping dust into the air and near my flip-flopped feet and naked legs When I commented that this was inappropriate, he simply said, “I’m sorry you were offended, but I needed to clean”1) At the time I came to breakfast, there was only one of fourteen tables occupied In other words, the place was almost empty There was ample time to clean2) Breakfast was closing in 20 minutes He could have waited until after I left3) I didn’t make the mess There was no reason to penalize me and force me to shower again because someone else made a mess at my feetI would normally keep this complaint internal and simply talk to management about the fact that this was unpleasant, but…Is this a major issue? No However, it shows an attitude of management putting their own needs to get their perceived job done above those of their customers, forgetting that their job is to service customers

Hilton hotels have been my go to for years The service is always good Not my most recent stay at this hotel

Probably one of my worst experiences at a hotelArrived at the hotel, “checked in” after a bit at the front desk, only to find out that I was mistakenly given access to a room with other tenants already occupying it We proceeded to exit the room and went back down to inform the front desk of what occurred Front Desk worked quickly to give me the keys to a new room thankfullyNext, we arrived at the hotel room and proceeded to get in the shower only to find out that the towels were soiled yellow by what appeared to be pee 2 out of the 4 towels in the hotel room were that way Same thing happened with the towels we got on Friday, at which point we decided to cut our trip short by one dayI called the Diamond Desk to see if I could check out a day early I was informed that since this stay was booked with my Hilton Points that I would lose them if we left early as they “Couldn’t” refund them I decided that staying another night was not worth it, and left even though it meant losing more than 70k points Left the hotel this morning without looking backIf you are thinking of becoming a Diamond Member, please don’t Its honestly not worth it based on this experience

Dillon Vautrin

This was possibly the best service I have ever experienced during a hotel stay The hotel staff really made my family feel welcome The front desk, manager and kitchen staff were all terrific

The pool and hot tub were clean The room was clean When a lot of other chains seem to be going downhill lately, our stay in Falls Church at the Hilton was refreshing I highly recommend staying here Thanks!

Comfortable bed, good curtains, decent breakfast A working, functional toilet in the room would have added more than one extra star to this review We informed the front desk of our dilemma

An “engineer” was dispatched He arrived with a new flush mechanism The issue was blockage He said he would return with a snake to unblock it He did not; or did and was unsuccessful in his attempt When we returned to the room, the toilet was still fubar It was lateI do not recommend this establishment I certainly will not stay there again Cobwebs behind the door, leaking shower stall door, extremely difficult wall plug adjacent to the main table/desk, not mounted to a wall stud Very many minor “tics” in the bad column Not that many in the good columnStay somewhere else

Donovan Derrick

I recently stayed for work Work booked my hotel however, had I known I would’ve chosen somewhere else The overall experience was fine however, the room was far from cleanly

The microwave had crusted foodliterally crusted food and splatter from previous guest It was clear it hadn’t been cleaned The floor was also stained with what seemed to be soda or fruit juice I had a busy agenda and luckily only used the room for sleep however that simply is unacceptable for guests you’re supposed to prepare for The top of the fridge had leftover food, molding Disgusting!! The bed itself was fine, nothing to rave about and the bathroom was fine Honestly, for a Hilton property I would’ve expected better

Mark

The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great The room was clean but they booked my room so they moved me to a handicap room As a diamond member I was hoping for something better

The pool was still closed due to covid which is crazy since Virginia is wide open for over a year nowOverall I enjoyed the location and the cleanliness of the room and friendliness of the staff Please open up the pool

Well appointed clean rooms, friendly staff, comfy beds, big TV with good choice of channelsThe toiletries are a bit stingy, the elevators on the slow side The on-site restaurant served good food but service suffered when dealing with large groups

The breakfast buffet had good selection of items with attentive service Buy your beer and drinks at the local CVS not the overpriced convenience shop A very handy 15 minute shuttle ride to Reagan Airport

Adeline Rudolph

The good:Attractive, well-appointed hotel, 1/3 mile to the metro Parking avail on-site for $40 per night you stay (which is pricey for the area) Beds pretty comfy

Safe part of town, close in (Busy) Starbucks onsiteWe stayed three nightsNot so good:1) they start knocking on doors to clean rooms about 6:20-6:30am I even heard the cleaning staff joking, “well, I’m trying but everyone is still asleep” Vacuum noise an hour before you planned to wake up isn’t great2) the a/c is odd, controls are on wall, though it seems like they’d be on unit Unit is loud and makes room fluctuate in wide range all night between very warm to very cold3) room was cleaned well, but odd issues like there was a brown stain on our shower curtain, rusty shower drain, a hinge on hallway door had thick paint melting off or maybe mold?4) shower head is lower, just at my hairline and I’m 5’8 No conditioner or body wash provided Just soap and shampoo5) driving here from the north is tricky, the 395 exit to Clark Street is a very poorly designed intersection so be carefulI’d likely stay again if the price were right Though I think I may find somewhere with cheaper parking (many in the city had $25/day)

Karimah J

The only good thing about this hotel is the location Other than that it’s outdated and not as clean as it should be I wiped everything down upon arrival and the handles were dirty on the dresser

Parking is also an outrageous priceOn top of that, I received a charge on my card from the gift shop I never visited When I called about it they had another cc linked to my account A manager was supposed to reach out but never didWhen I checked my statement a few days after that, they charged my card $400+!! I called and spoke to someone in accounting and he couldn’t figure out what the charges were Mind you, I checked out of this hotel May 1st and spoke to accounting May 4 & 6I check my statement today May 9, and have another $400+ charge to my cc that was charged Sat May7I’m disputing everything with my bank and I recommend everyone to check your cc statements after checkout Someone who works there is definitely doing something shady

We had a great experience staying at the Best Western Hotel The staff was courteous and the entire hotel appeared remodeled and modern The rooms were clean

The location was safe and just 20 minutes from DC and Alexandria The hotel also included a hot buffet as a part of the tariff Breakfast included scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes, cereals, pancakes, waffles, donuts, muffins, juice, a variety of coffees, tea etc A lot of choice Several restaurants are within driving distance from the hotel The hotel manager Marcus Reid was kind and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable During the breakfast my wife lost/dropped her phone/wallet which also included cards and cash The breakfast room staff was honest and kept it aside This was our first trip post covid and we couldn’t have selected a better place to stay

I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel This hotel “understood the assignment” when it came to true customer service Booked this hotel for my senior parents visiting from southern VA

Front desk, friendly, polite and smiled every – single – day They immediately, with no problems, upgraded my parents room to a studio because my dad was weary of staying on a floor above 3 The boxed breakfasts were nutritious, delicious and high in protein The hotel was spotless and smelled nice and fresh All hand sanitizer stations were filled and usable No hassle parking From the complementary bedroom slippers, to the bottled water, just and all around EXCEPTIONAL experience Great location My parents were very pleased and LOVED the comfortable bed They also felt very safe in the area I HIGHLY recommend this hotel, especially for seniors

Michael Gracey

I stayed for two nights (Friday/Saturday) to extend some work travel while taking advantage of a discount offered by the hotel Staff handled check-in courteously and expeditiously Complimentary parking was located in garage across from hotel (would have been nice to know on email confirmations)

My room happened to be in a corner on the second floor The room was predictably clean I appreciated a couple of small things such as complimentary bottled water, Malin&Goetz bath amenities, and a couple of books for reading if I was interested (I was not but appreciated the gesture) The bed and sofa both had firmer feels than other hotels at which I have stayed (Both were acceptable though and maybe understandable given their newness with the renovation) The shower design somehow encourages water to pool rather than drain, so I hope something can be done maintenance wise as they renovate Road noise is noticeable until midnight, so I would request a room at a higher floor and facing away from Lee HighwayPrices at first glance do not seem terribly unreasonable without the discount (hopefully they will stay reasonable after the renovations finish later this year) All in all the location proves a great reason to stay for a night or two and eat through Mosaic and surrounding restaurants within walking distance and movie watching at the Angelika One could feel good supporting a boutique hotel brand staying here

Jessica Kim

Excellent location and most importantly excellent hospitality The location was fantastic and accommodated our late check in request The room was in good condition and left a very nice gift basket for us to enjoy my promotion

This made this hotel outstanding I would love to visit this location again after their remodeling is complete Thank you so much for a wonderful experience

Great place to stay in Washington The staff is EXCEEDINGLY helpful and kind to travelers! The breakfast is great

a bit pricey but remember where you’re at this hotel is very close to the mall, the Metro, and all sights you want to see The taxi service in DC is wonderful and the drivers are kind We attended a conference at the Hilton and the serving staff is amazing and professional The room service is well organized and prompt When you call the front desk to ask questions they want to help you every time Next time I’m traveling individually in Washington this Hilton will be my destination Thank you for a GREAT experience and for your thoughtful and kind staff

I wanted to give special thanks to this hotel for taking care of my folks over the fourth of July weekend I had four family members fly in from California, and they chose to stay here because of its proximity to our house and the city Firstly,

the rooms themselves are very spacious, and the amenities were super awesome! My family mentioned that the staff here really went out of their way to make their stay special Even my own interactions with some of the employees were always great The thing that we liked best about the hotel was its location There is a mall just a short elevator ride down to the lower level, and they have a food court and several major retailers Whats more, the metro station is located right downstairs, so we were all able to travel downtown to see the fireworks without the hassle of driving or searching for parking My people will for sure choose this hotel again the next time they come to visit us

Sarah Beets

Great location right next to the metro Easy access to shops like 7/11 and iHop We had an issue with our room where there was a dripping sound all through the night but when we alerted the staff they got someone in to look into it right away and when they couldn’t fix us they promptly moved us to a new room

Great place for a family and the coffee was great which always helps Will definitely stay again!

I should have read reviewsPros: It’s really close to an amazing Thai restaurant and Harris Teeter It’s walkable to the Potomac River and a park

Location is perfect for travelers It has good AC and the bed and pillows are comfy The staff were really friendlyCons: There is no early check-in, so when you get there, there is a line out the door and it takes nearly 30 minutes to check-in One of the elevators was broken, so it took forever to get to the room This hotel also doesn’t have anything included (the free wifi is really slow) Parking is $32 a night, water bottles left in the room aren’t free There is no microwave…NO MICROWAVE The coffee isn’t very good in the room The showers don’t drain well Customer service wasn’t helpful I called multiple times to confirm that the location I stayed at had a pool and both times the person I spoke to verified it did One part of the website also said there was a pool, or I misread…The specific room details said that a pool wasn’t an included amenity but photos of the location and calls to the hotel said otherwise When you call, you apparently don’t get people at the location

Good location that is connected to a nice shopping area with a movie theater, Starbucks, multiple restaurants, a tailor, barbershop and more They do not have balcony’s or any individual outdoor spaced for the room, but there is a sitting area outside The pool was broken throughout the entire stay

I had a really nice stay at this Hotel April of 2022 The pictures are an accurate description of the Hotel and room My interaction with the staff was pleasant

I self parked in the garage and was able to find good parking near the elevator each day I enjoyed dinner at Socci restaurant inside the Hotel on my final night The portions size was good The atmosphere was relaxing and romantic and the french fries was really delicious The location was nice and easy to access by car it was night a very far drive to the attractions of DC I recommend this Hotel and would stay again if ever in the Washington DC area

Dennis Reeder

Phenomenal hotel The staff was friendly and very helpful I have to admit that I stayed in a regular room and a presidential suite and they were both fantastic

Obviously the presidential suite was next level awesome (tv in the shower and bathroom mirror, seriously) but both rooms were beautiful If I had to make one downside comment, it would be that the bar closes too early 10 pm just didn’t meet the mark but the food was delicious and the bartenders are very talented They also have an amazing selection of top shelf bourbons I highly recommend this hotel for a stay and for any major conference or event What a beautiful venue

Marie BC

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted Our room was upgraded The only negative was the price of parking increased because the correct price hasn’t been uploaded to the internet , so the vendor we went through provide incorrect information

I think the hotel should ensure this is corrected Apart from that our stay was enjoyable and the staff was very warm and helpful

All I do is travel and stay at hotels – with that being said – this is a very nice hotel in a very good location It’s not right by a DC/Tyson’s corner – but it is very centrally located if your plans are not DC bound Plenty of restaurants nearby and they have PURE rooms – which are hypoallergenic – and they work wonderfully! The front desk manager – Stephan – very nice, knowledgeable and ultra helpful

I especially enjoyed the slower pace and the peace/quiet/comfort – it’s as if I unplugged for a great weekend and came back to work recharged It’s not brand new – but it’s newerIf you’re in the mood for the same – come on in and enjoy!

Nice clean rooms on the large side We’ve been here a few times, and last time we had a corner space that was divided into two rooms so that wasn’t bigger but it was nice Decor is fine, funny how terrazzo counters are in again! Kitchen area equipped but items were missing

Breakfast is limited but good Location is only convenient if you’re driving, it’s walkable to a few not-so-great restaurants Aldi and a drugstore Lots more in the Mosaic District but that’s too long a walk for some Metro not too far, but not really walkable either

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing views and staff Price is very competitive The staff were very kind and welcoming

I only stayed one night, I checked in around 5pm and left at 8 the next morning, so because of my time restraints I chose not to go directly to staff to see if they could make things right The bathroom was not properly cleaned The sink had hair from a previous shave, and I had a towel that didn’t seem clean either We had a chaise in the room, but it had some stains on it I am hoping this was just a fluke, because I would love to stay again They also charge $17 for breakfast, but we left early to grab breakfast elsewhere If it were for the disappointment with cleanliness, this would have been an easy 5 star review

It’s such a beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities, however, I have never had such terrible customer service When I first checked in, the receptionist was actually wonderful Checked in, went to my room, went to bed

I was then woken up at 5:30 am to the phone ringing I didn’t answer It rang a second time Still just waking up so I didn’t answer it in time Went back to bed Someone then started knocking on my door, yelling in my room saying “have you checked in?” Mind you, it is 5:30 am and I checked in the previous day at 4 pm for two nights I answer the door and the guy writes my name down and says I wasn’t reserved? So he took my name and said he’ll take care of it I go back to bed and my phone rings AGAIN and I answer it and no one is on the other end Then it rings YET AGAIN and I answer angrily, and they say “do you have a reservation?” To which I said my name and said I will head to the lobby I hang up and they called…again I didn’t answer and went straight to the front desk The receptionist then said “the last receptionist didn’t check you on all the way but I found your reservation and figured it out” and proceeded to give me a voucher for free breakfast For only that morning That I ultimately missed because I was woken up at 5:30 am and it took me a couple hours to fall back asleep after that No other explanation, and no other way to make it right in my eyes So so disappointed

I have been staying here for years If you decide to stay here you won’t regret itRoom was clean and spacious The bed was very comfortable and the staff was super accommodating When we had an issue with the temperature of the room, they immediately sent up a fan to keep us comfortable

Great rooms!!! Clean, minimalist hotel with good environment, restaurant was 10/10, food 10/10, parking 5/10 you have to walk to get to your car I just wanted to say ALEX should be a MANAGER here

He was so kind and knowledgeable of everything The only one We think he should run the whole receptionWhen we got here after a long drive we had to wait 30 minutes to get it out room because someone mix our names and gave our room to someone else which is understandable but unacceptable, that’s why my 4 stars

Brooke Justis

This is our second time staying here (our first was the night we got engaged!), and the place is great Wonderful price, clean and spacious rooms, reasonable parking, and friendly staff! The location is wonderful! We were able to walk to the national mall easily, where my fiancé proposed, and return to our hotel for the night Will most likely stay here again!!

the rooms were comfortableNot just a bed but coach , table, kitchen Services I had to ask everytime if I needed something

Then never came into our room to clean until the 3rd day stayI had actually ask the nice woman to clean and restock towels, which remind you had to run to lobby to grab extra after day one Sorry woman I use 2 and my husband needed only one They if you need to take another shower to go out later in the evening, due being to warm in VAI feel if someone stays 1 or 2 nights should have more then 4 towels One little hooked in the bathroom for those who say reuse Hard when you can’t hang them to dry Otherwise bathroom was cutie with glass doors for stand up shower!

I would give them 45 if I could Check-in was excellent

Treven (?) Hudson was working and he was friendly, helpful and professional The room exceeded my expectations Roomy, comfortable, and quiet Free parking was fine, and parking lot well lighted The free coffee in the lobby area was good too My only complaint, is that my room wasn’t cleaned If in the area again, this is where I’m staying

Lolita Pollard-Kezele

We basically have a spacious one bedroom apartment Our condo didn’t close on time so we needed temporary housing We will try to never stay at extended stay again

This is so much better Worth the money Real post!Update: We are extending our stay and it’s still light years better than extended stay but we are having trouble with the hot water Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t They are renovating so it may have something to do with that

JoJo Q

My Fiancé & I stayed in the hotel for one nightAs soon as we walked in the receptionist welcomed us with a smile He was courteous and friendly

The lobby looks tidy, smells fresh & clean Our room was big with a small kitchenette & a full size refrigerator The only thing that needs improvement is the furnitures in the room Overall, for a few nights stay it’s gives its purpose I’ll give it 3 stars

Perfectly off I-95 south making it easy to get back on the high way Very quiet and very clean After an incredibly long day it was nice to be checked in quickly and efficiently even for the late hour I was doing so

All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful The room was spotless and the bed was as amazing as the omelette bar downstairs that was available during the complimentary breakfast I will always recommend staying here

diane eliezer

This is the nicest Embassy Suites I’ve stayed in, bar none Impeccably clean, large bathrooms, comfortable beds, excellent front desk The free hot breakfast features an omelet bar, and the free drinks from 5:30 – 7:30 each evening is a welcome tradition

We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a great French Dip sandwich with sirloin and a Caesar Salad with about 8 oz of hotgrilled salmon, plus sides and drinks for under $4500 I would recommend this hotel to everybody The only “downsides” are (1) it’s incredibly convenient to DC /all tourist areas BUT there is nothing close by except a Wendy’s (2) the lighting in the rooms is absolutely awful, just plain DARK and (3) $10 per night to park Other than that, I’ll continue to make this my go-to hotel in VA/DC

Angelo Cruz

Quite honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had! From booking online to arriving, I was treated with respect and as a true guest In a post-covered world where we’re all putting the pieces back together, it is great to see this establishment really taking care of people and making them feel at home I have to really applaud Sabrina and Alex at the front desk

Nothing beats a stay at the Hilton and Embassy knocks that right out of the park!
