I would say nice place, the front desk folks are very nice and welcomingHowever, it is a very old hotel and it shows! Most of the amenities are old, and so personally for the money I feel this place is not worth it Also they stopped breakfast, citing covid but it was never mentioned during booking which is one of the things I considered during booking

Location is pretty good though, walking distance to a halal restaurant was one of the best things

湾区美食探店-崔同学

Very, very poor check-in experience, the Indian man at the front desk has a very poor attitude, rude, at least no greeting, no response to saying thank you, and the first day of check-in by sending a message to the hotel to respond to the air-conditioned room The air conditioner is very loud, very noisy, and there is no reply Until now, there has been no reply The ladies have excellent service

This is a three-star hotel I didn’t expect the men’s service that night to be so bad hotel

Best Airbnb checkin experience and so clean I left the check in desk already wanting to leave a 5 star review, which is NOT a thought I’d ever have Such a great stay and I highly recommend booking here either through them directly or Airbnb

Clean, stylish building, pool and hot tub Parking and multiple elevators for easy luggage moving

Lazy housekeepersThey didn’t service my room for over a week and now they said it’s dirty so they didn’t even make my bed or clean the carpet All I can say is they are lazy!!!!!! Looking for the easy moneyIt will be my last time staying at this hotel ever

V B

I started my stay here on 27feb This is probably the worst inn in the area, no idea how they got 4+ star rating There breakfast which is already limited and to-go runs out of milk at 7am, so enjoy your cereal with water I guess!?Also the front desk staff named “Ramon” is not helpful at all and all his replies are condescending

Not worth it, avoid!

We were forced to stay here as our 1 month advance booking which was confirmed at another Marriott was shifted to this place to as they were overbookedRooms are very good Nice and clean

But no one comes to housekeeping everyday, that’s surprisingPlenty of parking was available when we cameAnd the breakfast was everyday the same, sausage, scrambled eggs and oats, milk, juice etc which can definately be improved

Sanjay Senthilkumar

Not the best hotel as such but definitely up there Great value for the price paid Really helpful staff and the location is amazing! Not the biggest issue but there are multiple buildings and my room was very far from the help desk

Would help to have a secondary help desk if possible

Man-Soo Hwang

This was my first stay in over 2 years Not sure if it’s the result of the pandemic staff shortage, but they would only service the room if you ask for it On one day they didn’t service it even after I asked for it to be before leaving the room in the morning

I hope this is a temporary issue as I really like this place due to the convenient location

Willahelm Wan

I had a great experience with Wild Palms If I’m back in town, I’ll definitely stay with them again The rooms are so-so

However, the amenities are excellent They a cute resort looking courtyard with a jacuzzi and a pool It’s nice to be able to relax in the jacuzzi after a long day of work Great place to stay if you come here for workThere are a few authentic Asian restaurants within walking distance

Harben Mahil

As soon as I walked in to my room, I noticed a dead cockroach in the closet Frankly, that’s unacceptable and makes me wonder how much cleaning they do between guests, or if the room was just sitting vacant for some time Thankfully, the staff was quick to give me another room

To add to the service woes, the safe in my second room wasn’t working and it took me 3 calls for someone to come out and fix itThe rooms overall and hotel condition were decent, albeit somewhat outdated I definitely would not recommend a room that’s on the Wolfe Road side, as you’ll hear fire trucks quite often and it’s pretty loud due to the somewhat thin walls Speaking of the thin walls, I could hear *a lot* of the footsteps of the person above me, as well as when they were showeringAlso, they’re still doing cold breakfast, which was also pretty mediocreIf you have a little bit more to spend, I’d personally go for the Hilton Garden Inn or Courtyard by Mariott

Sky Li

premises confusing, one needs a map to find your roomNo elevator to upper floor and no associates to assistRoom smell terrible, swimming pool looks great but extremely filthy, possible human vomits and animal dumplings

Front desk reception Joey was incompetent, but the worst part is her poor attitude, rudeness especially to non Asians She mix up the assigned entry keys in two rooms when checking in only five guests rooms Two of the guests could not gain access to the assigned rooms, and worse was one of the rooms assigned, there were already registered guests insideIt took more than twice to finally get into these two rooms, but Joey, the Front Office clerk will not admit fault, and even stated that this was the guests own mix upApology in your dreamDefinitely will NEVER recommend stay

Joe Darden

True to brand, this property has fast, fun and friendly serviceThe rooms have all of the AC essentials, and are in excellent (like new) condition Very clean

Beds are comfortableLocation is quiet despite being right near the main boulevard (El Camino Real)Parking is a little tight, and the fact that they charge for parking is questionable given that it’s an unattended lot I get the parking pass to prevent locals or non guests from using the lot, but charging a fee is a bit excessive

Miri Lim

I stayed one night in June, and I want to share about the excellent staff, Louise I had plans to have drinks with my coworkers at the bar but unfortunately the bartender called out sick so my coworkers and I didn’t know what to do The front desk staff told us we can pick up drinks from the liquor store across the street

We did that and Louise took care of us by providing us with cups and napkins We were seated outside and he left the door open for us so we can stay late He was so nice and professional! I would definitely stay again As with any AC Hotels I love the clean rooms and the quality of the bed

Kristen Parker

I am a very light sleeper, and in general prefer to have a quiet hotel room There is very little sound proofing at this hotel I could hear every step of the person above me and every word from the room next to me

We decided not to stay the night because I knew I would not be able to sleepThe hotel staff was very helpful and kind and provided a refund The hotel was clean and modern, so if you’re a heavy sleeper or don’t mind a lot of noise you’ll be fine But if you’re looking for quiet, I’d suggest a different hotel

Ashley Sisneros

Front desk staff is wonderfully helpful and kind Easy check in and out, and lovely rooms Splurge for the king suite with bath if you can, its worth it!! Hotel is clean, parking is easy

I forgot a blanket in my room while checking out, they were prompt in having someone go up to the room and bring it to me within 2 minutesAs a bay area/San Jose native who comes back to visit now, this has been my favorite hotel stay by far Thanks Juniper!

Daniel Varela

As a regular Hilton customer I have seen usually really great service and care to detailHowever this hotel needs a little help

I’ve always been offered a couple bottles of water beyond my first night I was reminded that water is only available the first day Strike 1 Strike 2 the restaurant downstairs has crumbs on the dinning tables and the coffee saucer doesn’t look like it’s seen a bit of soap The seating outside looks nice I’ve asked if the heater could be turned on, I was responded with “I don’t know” A little bit of extra care can go a long way Sometimes the little things can go a long way

One of the best stay experiences I’ve ever had! The rooms are of decent size with all the basic necessities anyone would need People can pick the room they prefer, from a list of available rooms! I really like that they have a clean only when asked policy to respect the guests privacy So, the cleaning staff would only come when you ask them to

I had breakfast included with the stay Good options including eggs, sausages, cereals, yogurt, waffles (with toppings) and a few other things The staff is friendly which adds to the positive experience The amenities include an in-house gym and pool table that’s accessible throughout the day

Susie Stoddard

Pros- Nice large rooms with kitchenette-Good hot breakfast, that the staff keeps very sanitary- close the the highway

Cons- The worst bed I have ever slept on I’ve never experienced a lumpy mattress before this weekend and it made for a crummy nights sleep AND the bed was 4 inches lower on the right side which made you feel like you were falling off- no hot tub- starting July 1, 22′ they charge $10 a night parking- must request room cleaning serviceI don’t post reviews normally, but we liked this hotel and the amount of space you get in the room, but there was some disappointing aspects that I wish we had known before that I wanted to share

Richard Thornton

The room and the staff were very accommodating The check in process was very simple and they were able to get it done quickly The location is not the best, it is quite a ways away from the center of San Jose, but it is definitely quiet and you won’t be bothered staying this far out

I was able to do a late checkout with no issue and they were happy to accommodate the request Large rooms with a kitchenette that has an apartment sized fridge and even a stovetop if you’re staying for an extended period of time this is very convenient I was unable to try the free breakfast, but they are serving it at the moment

Hotel is getting quite tired/worn The staff are quite friendly and helpful If you’re looking for a budget friendly-ish Hotel stay here

Don’t stay here for new linens, fresh Hotel rooms, or any atmosphere I personally will look to find somewhere else to stay next time, but would stay here again if rooms in the area are getting hard to find

Luc Biddle (Nalu)

This place was terrible, the bathroom door did not lock, the headlamp over the bed did not work and there is little water pressure in the bathroom Will not be coming back here and definitely don’t recommend it to anyone else Don’t be a fool and go somewhere else Only redeeming factor is that the staff were somewhat nice

I was in room 222

Extremely rude staffs (especially Alisa or whatever her name is) & unprofessional manager This hotel easily made it to the worst hotel service that we have encountered, ever I mean it’s a 3-star hotel after all, but the service they provide is hardly a 1 star (extremely surprised at how this is even a Marriott chain hotel)

Stayed a lot with Marriott, but maybe they should really do a staff re-training PARTICULARLY at this location Also, remember to RECORD your conversation when you first checked in or when you checked out, so you can hold them accountable for what they promised you in the first place Zero credibility!!! Save your money and go somewhere else!

This is the best business hotel in Cupertino I’ve stayed at this hotel two times so far The room rate is not cheap (~$300) but most other hotels in this area are similar

However, the quality of this hotel is superb comparing to the others The room space is very enough and equipped Kitchen and bathroom are also very clean Complimentary breakfast is satisfactory too, those are not just muffin and bagel which other “Inn” level hotels provideAlso this hotel is located in the middle of the food court, those are great too These famous restaurants include Ippudo which is one of the best Ramen places in Bay area I will stay at this hotel whenever I visit this area

Andreas

Room was clean and nice, but the staff was rude and unprofessionalRoom was accidentally checked out on the second day of a 3 days stayRequested for a late check out upon checking in and was given a 4 pm checkout time

Tried to reconfirm the next day regarding the check out time again, reception said there was no request made and no note was given regarding the requestComplained to the reception and the only thing said was “there is no note regarding late checkout request, and we cannot take your request now because of the occupancy rate for the next day” NO APOLOGIES WAS MADETalked to the manager the next day, she made it clear to stop wasting her time to complain because there is nothing that she could do to helpAt least the manager had a decency to apologizeBeen a loyal Marriott customer and currently a gold member, by far the worst experience encountered while staying with Marriott

First off the staff is very friendly and accommodating! The hotel itself is nice, the rooms are clean and quiet, and the pool area has a great BBQ station It is an older hotel and the mattress is a little to firm but for a short stay it’s not bad It is a little hard to get into the parking lot from the expressway because of all the construction going on in the area

All and all a nice hotel!

Elizabeth

Room was recently redone, which was nice, but smelled musty/like animals Toilet had a slow leak and refilled periodically in the middle of the night, waking me up Bed wasn’t that comfortable, very firm

Breakfast buffet was meager and they are NOT offering the evening reception that most Residence Inns have I will not be going back

Daniel Mason

Staff was very friendly and helpfulThe amenities are nice, with a well equipped gymThe area was quiet and the room was comfortable

Will definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone visiting the area

My first time staying here as a guest The main guest check in location is on one side of the street with regular rooms and across the street are rooms that is a penthouse Since I was a gold elite member, I was given a complimentary upgrade which was nice of them

The exterior design seems to be homey feel like designs from the 1960s or 1970s feel (I could be wrong on this) I was given a map on how I can find my room and it also has information on nearby restaurants and how to contact guest services I found this to be most helpful and really like it especially if it’s someone who is new to the areaAfter I checked in, I drove across the street to my room and I’m pretty disappointed that their parking spaces are narrow You can only let one car driving one way which is unfortunate My room was located upstairs behind the building The stairs were narrow to walk up and it does have creaking sounds, just a tad bit I went in to my room and toured around The downstairs room seems cozy except the bathroom is pretty small and so was the little hallway I went upstairs where it has a second bed and bathroom with a standing shower which seems to be modern and updated Not sure if they renovated but the sink was located outside of the bathroom which created more open space That is something I like The one thing I’m icky is the toilet’s flushing mechanism for both toilets which seems like it’s going to break but it’s not Another thing is that the AC has some awkward air smell coming in Sometimes it feels like something is burning and other times I smelled fried foods Sometimes I don’t smell those things at allThe buildings in this location is rather old even after I went to my room Overall, the room is decent for the cost per night Customer service was fine but I wouldn’t say it was the best Location was convenient to travel to the office but inconvenient to get to my room as their property is split into two areas across the street from each other In addition to the location, there were a bit of shrubs/bushes and bugs outside of the building which is very annoying since I easily get bug bites If you’re looking for a good deal for your night stay, this hotel would be a choice for you if you doing mind everything else

Roshni Patel

We have stayed at this hotel for more than 2 months Their customer support is prompt and good The weekly cleaning is not standard process has room for improvement

Some weeks the cleaning is really good, and some weeks we need to request for additional service The Hotel staff is very helpful in the additional requests The breakfast menu for the hotel doesn’t have healthy options, it’s all frozen food Possibly there is room for improvement there but it’s not much of a concern Overall a good experience, clean and safe rooms and prompt service Thanks!

Excellent, perfect location, swimming pool is at front of the office, easy access, right off Hwy 101, if you’re coming from the North, exit off Lawrence Xpwy, if you’re coming from the South exit off Bowers/Great America Pkwy, secure, and safe area to go out for a stroll, well-maintained grounds, within walking distance to restaurants, fast food eateries, and a large shopping center

I want to be clear that this is not a bad hotel by any means Certainly not a hotel horror story you hear about At the same time, I was slightly disappointed based on the reviews I had read, so I thought I would post

To start, I thought based on the pictures online that a “premier room with balcony”, would have a room overlooking the pool, or a hood view of the town at least based on the pictures I saw online My room overlooks the parking lot, freeway, and a strip mall across the street Not a huge thing, but somethingThe jacuzzi was down when I was there Not hot, no bubbles Again, not a game changer, but just something And when I did visit the pool, there were people present who were glaring at me and my son We didn’t feel comfortable or welcomed and so we left that area Again, not something to make a big deal of, I could have said something and didn’t But somethingI think a fair comparison in any hotel review is a Motel 6 Everyone has stayed at a Motel 6 before You know what you’re getting into with a Motel 6 – cheaper, pretty bare bones, nothing to write home about, someplace (usually safe) you can lie your head at night There are better places, equal to, and worse places to stay than a Motel 6… I feel like my experience here has been equal to a Motel 6 Which I don’t think is a slam (again, not a bad experience), but also, just a very average hotel stay when I definitely paid what I think was premier hotel pricing I had to pay for overnight parking, which I didn’t see advertised anywhere, and I was even told upon check-in that housekeeping is only coming to rooms once every three days I’m sure that is a cost-saving measure at this point, but those cost savings are not being reflected in the pricePerhaps I’m being slightly unfair in that I didn’t speak with staff before writing this I’m not sure what they could have done though short of reducing the price, which I’m not sure is a fair ask They can’t change the view off my balcony or make people not look at me And again, it’s not a BAD hotel All the staff have been great I just thought I should write something though since I do use reviews myself when picking a hotel

AMAZING STAFF, I was staying here for work and long story short there was an issue in my room and all of the staff did an amazing job taking care of me and even upgrading my room for the inconvenience I wish I knew the names of the other employees but Erin the general manager runs a great hotel with a great team I don’t think I have ever been treated so well staying at a hotel than they did here

The rooms were super clean, and looked great They have a bar and small dining area serving breakfast lunch and dinner with a wonderful bar tender I will always choose this place when staying in the area again Thanks Erin and team!

The room wasn’t fully cleaned Notes from someone’s take out order left on the dresser Garbage in the hallway sitting for hours

The hot tub wasn’t heated Refrigerator in the room didn’t work The free breakfast area was closed They just had a few items in a basket with an empty coffee container There’s an extra cost for everything $12 a day for parking with signs everywhere saying they’re not responsible if anything happens to your car So obviously things are happening to the cars

All five star ratings are correct and well deserved We came to stay for a couple of days in the room with roll in shower The manager kindly upgraded us to the one bedroom unit

The room was perfect except for the excessively soft bed, which is present in many American hotels The hotel is new, the manager and all staff are friendly and helpful Breakfast includes a good selection of hot foods The waffle machine is a hit I wish I lived here

Very Disappointed We were there about 2 1/2 weeks because of their covid restriction, we were able to receive only 2 cleaning done during our stay

We requested a few times but they said they cannot clean the room while persons are in the room I am 8 months pregnant and my husband was working so we could not get the service but I tried to keep things clean Everything was okay We had about 3 fire alarms ran so we had to evacuate the building twice (one was off quickly) However, They charged us 163 for cleaning fee at the end without notifying us saying that they had to deep clean ? We even used out own comforters and pillows and funny thing was that we got our cleaning the day before our check out so it was pretty cleans plus we spent almost $3000 since we booked 1bed room suite It is expensive I contacted the manager a several times He finally got back and he said he will give me a refund 2 weeks later, I am still waiting for a refund I tried to reach out to the manager a couple times today but no luck!!! Please check your bill still ask for a cleaning because they will charge you if you did not take out the small trash bags out when you check out! ridiculous And Please give me my refund!!

I stayed here for a few weeks since my apartment had flooded, and the customer service was incredible! Very flexible to accommodating me when I needed to extend my stay, and when I had realized I left some items in the hotel a month after I had left, the front desk, especially Andrea, was kind enough to search the hotel for my items without giving up and send them to me 100% recommend if you need a stay in the sunnyvale area 🙂

No shower curtain (wth) and the room telephone doesn’t work to call the front desk

looks like I’ll be taking baths the next 2 nights 😕😕*update: couldn’t take a bath as the drain was loose & not completely attached to the tub, so i went to the front desk & was told I had to wait 30 minutes until they finished lunch for someone to bring a shower curtain I was able to obtain a half day rate as I needed a 330pm check out, so that’s a positive

On the plus side, location and price are good If you’re looking for something fancy or well maintained, this may not be the best choice for you Parking is free, but challenging (lots of large trucks parked there)

This is a relatively inexpensive lodging option close to a number of tech companies It tends to have a lot of construction traffic and some longer-term residents

I stayed for above two weeks, nice hotel, but it was at the end of my of stay during checkout they wouldn’t let me checkout an hour late than their schedule that prompted me to write this review I travel a lot for work and stay for an extended period of time at various hotels and never had an issue I am a diamond member at Hilton, but wanted to give this a try, definitely not trying again

They could have definitely managed this better

Highly recommended Hotel is new and rooms well layout Spacious living room and bedroom area, kitchen well equipped

I love the bathroom, spacious and well thought of shelvings for own shampoo, towels and etc (they do provide shampoo, and such) my room is water view, it’s simply gorgeous view Watching sunset from bed It’s only 2 minutes walk away from the Bay Special mention to Jema from reception, so helpful and patient

Terry Jones

Peaceful and quiet location since there isn’t much around Not close to restaurants or shops, but only about a mile or so from Levi Stadium Most views from the hotel are decent except looking over the front entrance

Bad views for rooms that end 39, 41 and 43 Several fun amenities: putt-putt golf, pool, basketball court, BBQ area, couple of outdoor seating areas, and a really good size fitness center with plenty of equipment Keyless entry is available, however, the Marriott brand has not started being able to pick rooms and have contactless check-in The rooms are spacious, with full-sized appliances, a comfy bed, and 4 pillows for the king Oddly, the showerhead is very small, so it takes longer to rinse off The staff is friendly and the morning breakfast is wonderful EV stations if needed in the parking lot All in all it’s a good place to stay
