I’ve been staying here temporarily after I relocated to the area and David who does the breakfast well he’s awesome ! It’s like being in an actual restaurant It’s kept spotless and his has a great personality and treats you like he’s known you a lifetime He really goes above and beyond for me

I have NEVER stayed in a hotel where someone really puts in so much help and kindness Hes always working to make your stay better

Trixie Mac

The hotels appearance is appealing, the staff was pleasant & helpful The area is plentiful with restaurants, shopping etcWe stayed 3 days total, booking was easy through the hotels website, FYI if you want a better rate book online it is cheaper than booking at the hotel

The hotel was very clean, although the bathroom mirror was dirty & there was popcorn butter in the microwave (not bad but it was there in a cleaned room) the only thing I could point out to housekeeping is clean the glass on the pictures they were dirty Other than that it was a very pleasant stay

Jen

I checked out of the hotel 2 days early and instead of being refunded they charged my card The manager, Sharad, tried to tell me it didn’t charge my card when it clearly did Then he told me it was an authorization charge

After letting him know I wanted a refund asap he finally done it Although it took about 20 minutes Clearly trying to rip people offEvery night I had been going down to the front desk to get towels since we were there for 5 days On the 4th night the clerk informed me that towels had to be brought down before she could give me anymore Even tho I stood right behind a women who was given towels and told to put her old towels out by the door to be picked up by the maids in the morningThe pool was dirty The bathroom floor was dirty The elevator smelled like a dog The breakfast wasn’t good Only cereal, waffles & bagels

Our room had comfortable/stylish furniture The bed was comfortable and clean The hotel offers various free streaming options on a large LG tv in each room

The bathroom was spacious and immaculateLoved that his place was dog friendly! So difficult to find a clean and comfortable hotel that is dog friendly with out being expensiveThe breakfast was a little lack luster, but was fineWe will definitely stay here again on our way to or from Florida

Kurt Thaxton

First and foremost I want to say the rooms are very nice That being said, the service at this hotel is horrible! The staff is almost never available at the front desk I am referring specifically to the morning staff

The evening staff is better at being present and available for their guests I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel until Marriott takes a serious look at the customer service level of their front desk staff at this location

Shalagh Hunter

Rooms were a very good size for a family of 5 We were able to set up a playpen in the room as well with no issues Beds were comfortable enough

Complimentary breakfast was decent Bathroom could’ve been cleaned better Could hear some road traffic, but worst of all the room next to us had a party until like 2am Had to call the front desk and I know several other rooms called as well because I heard them knock at least 3x to ask them to settle down I just don’t feel like this should’ve been stretched over like 3 hours I had a horrible night’s rest with a long ride home in the morning

LOVED this hotel and wish there were more Canopy chains around!!! The facility was extremely clean, well decorated, and had a very warm and inviting, cozy feel with the holiday decor/vibe I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay with my boyfriend and our dog – from the convenience of check in/out, the layout of the hotel, the luxurious feel of the hotel (decor, room set up and bath amenities), convenience and ability to travel and stay with our dog, and the DELICIOUS food and drinks at the lobby restaurant – Fine & Fettle I had cocktails at night and enjoyed a WONDERFUL breakfast the following morning

Everything was fabulous!!! Thank you Canopy/Hilton!!!

Maiya Williams

Comfortable bed, clean room, nice bathroom I enjoyed the common areas, especially the outdoor seating Tried to enjoy the restaurant but they weren’t serving the dinner menu due to lack of kitchen staff

Was able to order for lunch & a personal pizza took over an hour, & it was disgusting The guy at the bar was really sweet & comped it, plus he made great drinks Valet was slow & unprofessional It also seemed unnecessary to have mandatory valet when there was an empty parking garage right outside the hotel where they had my car parked anyway I understand hotels being pet friendly but they really need to separate the floors I heard puppies crying & dogs barking all day & night If I could guarantee being on a floor free of pets I would definitely stay again I loved the room

Some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long long time Breakfast staff was amazing friendly The only issue we had with our stay was on our 1st night around 230am someone decided to turn it up and nothing was doneThe pool bathroom needs some TLC It’s rusted more than tow-mator

Krystal Brown

I loved this hotel! It was super clean and the staff was friendly and helpful The hotel was so beautiful! It even had a fire pit downstairs They offered a complimentary breakfast as well

Parking was annoying because it was packed and hard to find a park Also, there was no smoking rooms Aside from that, this hotel was amazing and a good price I will definitely be staying again!!

Noah Chauvin

Stayed here for a 3 night stay The Hotel was amazing! The location was great, there were great restaurants within the Ayrsley town area that are a few minutes from the hotel that were delicious The room and hotel was very modern and clean

We also had a great breakfast everyday at the hotel restaurant The staff were very welcoming and helpful The hotel was close to a lot of attractions in Charlotte, NC Definitely will stay here again in the future

Excellent service! I booked a reservation through a third party vendor and they botched it Tyshion was super helpful in working with the third party to get us the correct rooms on a sold out night His patience and understanding were top notch and I thank him greatly

I’m traveling with older family and young children, glad we stayed The rooms were clean and comfortable!

Shannon Carney

Above and beyond helpful I was traveling alone for work and broke a wheel on my suitcase My husband sent me new wheels but didn’t have the right tools to replace the wheels

The front desk put me in contact with the chief engineer at the hotel and he brought his tools and replaced my wheels!! Such a life saver!! Great experience and excellent customer service at this Courtyard Highly recommend

Jennifer Melles

Made a reservation for a room for a certain room type Noted in the confirmation that I can’t change or modify the reservation after a given date On the date of check-in, I see that the hotel has modified my reservation for a room type I did not choose or agree to pay

No notification at all So, I can’t modify or cancel since it’s after the give time-frame Now it’s the date of the reservation and I have no other options Horrible customer experience let alone unethical business practices

Eric Jessen

Stayed there on a wedding trip This hotel was absolutely fabulous! The rooms we had were very nice Beds were very comfy, the rooms were spacious, the pool was exceptionally well kept

The complimentary breakfast was outstanding But the best part was the friendly and exceptionally helpful staff Special mention to Tom, Lisa, and Justin These folks know how to make you feel comfortable, and quite literally “at home”! If I’m EVER in the Charlotte area again, this hotel will be my first choice as a place to stay I cannot recommend them highly enough! Well done, folks!!!

Jillana Goodchild

Exceptional front desk service from each person I came across but ESPECIALLY Gerald Warren who made each customer feel like an old friend and a special guest He went out of his way to accommodate each person’s requests and they all had smiles on their faces when they talked with him Gerald alone is a reason to stay here, let alone the spacious rooms and super comfy beds

The mini-fridge and microwave in the room were also welcome amenities

I was very impressed I showed up with no reservation (I always do this to myself) half expecting to hear “Sorry, we’re actually booked for the whole weekend” And that’s exactly what happened

But, when I explained I just needed one night for my family due to our long trip they were able to help us Location is great: just off the highway with plenty of restaurants in the area, although there’s a great bistro in the lobby if you’re sick of driving (like me)

Holly Wheeler

Had 2 rooms 4 nights with teenage boys for a local basketball tournament I have worked in client experience industry 25 years and can easily spot individuals that capture the essence of delivering superior service Keonna was not only helpful and friendly but welcoming greeting each guest with a smile

She made sure we were well taken care of Will book here again next time we are in townClean rooms and facilities

A M

The staff was super friendly, very polite! Nice lobby, bar abs Starbucks coffee Also on site washer and dryer

but Upon check in my card was double charged, which was addressed by the front desk clerk none the less an inconvenience Second the shower all though very big had mildew in the bottom and we killed what looked like a cockroach in the closet But due to a very busy volleyball weekend we could not change rooms Not my best room experience at a Marriot if in the area again probably would find other accommodation

My husband, my dog, and myself stayed here for 3 days/2 nights Although we did not utilize the pool it looked clean and smelled like the ocean The elevators did not smell bad like in most places, the hallways were very clean

The room was immaculate well stocked, and in great condition The bed was the bed was a little on the harder side but that is just a matter of my preference The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant was clean The exterior was clean We had no issues with any of the staff while we were there Our dog felt welcomed and comfortable All-in-all a wonderful experience and I would definitely visit again

Dom Gray

Horrible! Writing a very honest review to warn people of the state of this hotel When booking I did not get an accurate feel of how bad things are here or I would’ve made sure to avoid this hotel I was very close to leaving and finding better accommodations which is a 1st and I have stayed at various star hotels

Pro- Excellent locationCons- Cleanliness, amenities, air quality on some floors, but 1st and foremost Cleanliness! Our 1st room was so dirty that it seemed like all they did was change the sheets The floors were sticky and nothing was cleaned They did not supply enough towels for our 4 guests and when asked we never received any new ones Thankfully my children were visiting with family at another hotel for a couple of days so we didn’t have to keep begging for common items For this price they should be ashamed to even welcome guests into this place Of course there is a shortage of staff (everywhere) but if you cannot even clean the rooms properly they should limit guests to the staff available Our 2nd room was at least acceptable enough for us to finish off our stay without leaving We considered the pool when booking but would not dare step foot in there The water did not look clean and there was a sock that I’m sure will still be there once we check outThe icing on the cake was housekeeping knocking on the door at 9am on checkout day For this price please book somewhere else unless the location is all you are worried about

Chrisopigi Maggiorou

It was very good when I was there 7 years ago This year I went again, I believe it is very expensive for what they giveThe food it was good

Many closed area at the inside garden area, it was open only the bar area Very good tips the security at the parking lot at night time Very good the girl with the long black hair at the bar at night shift

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any place They compare thousands of hotel sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This resort is one of the most well known in the area

I have been staying here for years If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I’m sure!We have been several times in this hotel for my son’s soccer tournamentsThe rooms are big and cleanThe reception is always friendly and smilingThe happy hour is great too, good appetizers and drinksI would definitely stay here again and I highly recommend it!

J Love

We really felt comfortable at this hotel It was tucked in a beautiful neighborhood, very put together lobby, and breakfast was enough to get us through We stayed in a king suite and that was plenty room for 3 kids and two adults

The pullout bed was doable for the kids and they offer pack and plays for littles for $10 The only reason I didn’t give it 5 starts is because there was a floss left on the floor, the air filter really needed to be changed, and you could hear the people upstairs at night Otherwise, I felt safe and taken care of here They also have a 5:30 snack and drink time but we didn’t get to check that out

Kathie Mcfadden

From what i understand Drury Inn&Suites all do this free breakfast not what you not even close some places that say free this breakfast was everything you could ask for hot or cold It does stop there in the evening they have a snack this isnt a snack its a full meal from soup to entreeEverything to make a meal over by 7 but if you have kids its perfect and you get 2 adult drinks per night

The gym was clean the pool inside outside a little small but great for kidsAll interactions with staff was met with a smile no matter what time Day or nightI also saw some dogs to All in All its a place to be

Here now and was supposed to be staying next weekend Canceling and will never book this location on our frequent trips to the area Found whole Oreos on the floor, candy behind pillow on chair, TV won’t turn off (had to unplug it), bathroom surfaces are sticky, shower dirty, table dirty, scratched up pans, dishes not put away, stained coffee pot

Old, dirty, unprofessional staff to top it off No manger on site Stay elsewhere!!! We are not picky travelers, and travel often, but this is not anywhere near Marriott standards! So disappointing!

Tatiana K

The front desk staff during the day was the worst I’ve ever come across Literally not even a smile upon arrival, not from anyone including the manager The food was unpalatable

The reservation system online doesn’t sync with the reservation system in this hotel I was forced to leave and go to a Hilton The only polite front office staff was the gentleman who works in the evening He’s the only reason the hotel received 2 stars

Ciara Williams

Overall the hotel is fairly new and in a good quiet area The cleanliness could be better If the shower isn’t cleaned often, it will deteriorate over time

This was my first time using the bonvoy marriott app and the keyless option took a while to update There’s an option to put in service request which can be confusing because you have to go get the items you are requesting Other than that, my stay was decent I carry shower shoes (flip flops) because hotel shower/tubs aren’t always sanitized Someone had a key to my husband’s and I room while we were sleeping I woke up because I heard them trying to get in I called down stairs and the manager apologized, and that was it

If you are short the bed makes you feel like a little kid they are really tall For the bathroom the sink is further from the edge and is more suited for a tall person and the toilet is very short the tub is not deep if you are a large person you won’t want to take a bath Wanted to add the pool is much smaller than what the pic shows it is 3 ft

On one end and 5ft on the other I would say maybe 3 people swimming at a time and the jacuzzi was boarded upThe staff was very nice and polite Rooms were clean and nicely furnished

Nyoki Osaka

Room was clean & very nice Hotel is well kept and surroundings are pretty safe & peaceful There’s a young man named Leo at the front desk and he is the nicest , most hospitable , most professional, kind , hard working , and accommodating employee I’ve ever come across working at a hotel desk

He made our stay as nice as it gets ❣️ He also went out of his way to give me something hotel provides when I was told no by another very rude woman employed at this hotel In fact , Leo is the reason I can say anything kind about the customer service part of my review so , THANK YOU VERY MUCH LEO FOR ALL YOU’VE DONE TO MAKE OUR STAY EXCELLENT ❣️❣️ I HOPE THE OWNER KNOWS WHAT AN ASSET YOU ARE TO COMFORT SUITES & THE CHOICE HOTEL BRAND !!! Sincerely, a lady that loves cereal without milk ! 😂

I booked at this hotel, as I have before My air conditioning at my house is being replaced tomorrow, and I was going to stay here An employee called and said due to me being within 40 miles, I can’t stay

I’ve stayed here before with no issue, when having work done to my house This makes absolutely no sense, if something wrong happens you have my credit card on file Other hotels will gladly accept my business next door**update Hotel still charged me for my stay They listed me as a no show I had to call the choice privileges 800 number to get issues resolved Avoid at all cost**

A lot of people like to leave negative reviews, but I want to focus on what this location did right They have amazingly friendly staff who made me and my daughter feel welcome I was pleased to find out that pets are indeed allowed, which means the next time I travel I may bring my furbaby with me

The location is family friendly They have a fire pit and grills outside to cook on But if you want to dine in, they have a stove, full size refrigerator and will supply pots and pans, utensils, and seasonings The beds are so plush and comfortable, I slept soundly So grateful to get to stay at this location when I visited Rock Hill I will definitely return

Erica Smith

The Service was very poor and the rooms were horrible Can you say Motel 6! After traveling 8 hours, I arrive to a smelly and Stinky room The toilets and the tubes were nasty

The toilet seats were yellow with the ceramic coming off of them The bottom of the tubes where horrible When you turned the shower on the pipes pushed water out and wet the whole bathroom There were rust on the walls and the smell of mildew and urine filled the hallways I arrived at 8 am and reported the condition of the room They offered to move me or come clean it I elected to move The manager asked if I could give her until noon When noon came around, I called the front desk and she said she would send someone They did not do a good job! At all! The manager was rude and disrespectful I left the hotel She never checked me in probably and she found my credit card number and charged be for a room , I never stayed at She charged my card without permission I never gave her permission to charge my card She lied and said she waited for me to come down and she did not I would not let my pet snake stay here The breakfast was horrible the pool smelled like swamp water You would have been better off sleeping in an alley

Colleen C

Traditionally select Marriott properties This one is a disappointment- actually it’s a dump Old, hallways smell, rooms leave a lot to be desired – small and not what I’d consider clean enough

Dishes still in the dishwasher No contact with any staff Picked as it was dog friendly Wish I’d read all the reviews before booking Choose the Hampton Inn that’s right next door – same price – and reviews are better

I was worried about our late arrival Thursday called the hotel and the employee that I spoke to confirmed my reservation I am sorry I cannot recall her name, begins with a C I believe Upon arrival the same employee checked us in, warmly greeted us like we knew each other, recommended places to eat, talked about the area and advised us of the hotel amenities She was there in the evenings for the duration of our stay, except Sunday Despite it being busy other families in the area for sporting events it was not loud, not messy, not crowded The pool was great my 5 year old really enjoyed it The lounge area outside was very nice A few nice family friendly restaurants within 5 minutes walking We were trying to go to DC but the hotels up there were sold out so decided to drive down to Charlotte I am very glad it turned out that way I am sure we enjoyed ourselves more in Charlotte than we would have in DC

After our house was delayed in the building process we had to find a place to stay in the meantime A full kitchen, pet friendly, large room, laundry and a great area were a must and this hotel hit all of those for an extended stay Not only has it been an amazing stay, but the staff is incredible

They were extremely accommodating and helped us with every single question we asked Shout out to Shannon, Chan, Shaunda and Ryan for going above and beyond and really making us feel at home Thank you!

This has been my third stay at this hotel and it was not as good as my first two times I would have given them 3 or maybe 4 stars because of my room, but the poor customer service I experienced when checking out this morning got them 2 stars First let me start off by saying the black out blinds in my room were broken in both the living area and bedroom

The bathroom toilet and tub smelled sour When I went to check out the next morning, the person working the front desk (Hasan was his name) looked me in the eye asked, what do you want? Not, may I help you or even good morning I told him I wanted to check out He asked what room I gave him the room number, he did some typing and said nothing I stood there waiting to be offered my receipt printed or by email and he looked at me again and simply said, what?? So, I asked if he could email me my receipt and he said yes I asked him to confirm my email address because every time I’ve stayed there, they magically never have my information He looked irritated by my request and looked and magically, my info was not there I gave him my email address I then asked him if he could confirm if my stay would be added to my Hilton Honors account as I have had issues with stays not showing up on my account and I end up not getting my points He replies, I see you are a diamond member and that was all he said So I repeated the question and he replied, you are a diamond member and then tried to show me the screen I said I don’t need to see the screen, I just want to confirm I get credited for my stay I was told to ask them that by Hilton Honors support whom I called the night before about previous stays not showing up on my account I didn’t appreciate his attitude and his lack of customer service I will start staying at the Hilton Garden Inn across the street for any future business trips I take to Charlotte

This hotel provided such an enjoyable stay that we are sad to leave!!! The suite was so spacious and clean, it really felt like home very quickly The kitchen is such a great bonus

dishes, utensils, pots and pans The staff at the front desk were kind and welcoming The evening reception was such a treat, and the breakfast was wonderful! We wished we had more time to enjoy the courtyard with the fire pit, corn hole, and grills! My daughters loved swimming in the pool, too! We will definitely be returning customers, and I hope our Staybridge at our next stop in Virginia is as lovely as this one!!!

Staybridge is beautiful Two room suites with fully stocked kitchen, spacious living room and nice bathroom I traveled with my little humans who are 15 and 21

I had a four day drive do I needed to sleepHaving a second room means they can stay up all night on their devices and I don’t have to be disturbed The rates were very goodThis hotel is in the middle of a corporate area so you have access to restaurants, gas stations and a car wash The staff is awesome This place is top notch and I can’t say enough good things! You will not be disappointedPs the roads were a little difficult to navigate as you go into the restaurants Be mindful and you’ll be fine

Spacious rooms that are designed well, are comfortable and clean Front desk staff are friendly and know how to do their job making guests feel welcome Breakfast is typical Hampton Inn fare – cereal, breads, yogurt, fruit, and waffles, as well as premade eggs, meat, potatoes but the lady week prepares everything is very friendly and willing to help you get what you want/need if it’s not out

A great hotel in a quiet location Highly recommend

The hotel is very clean seems on the newer side it’s walking distance to Harris so getting something from the hot bar instead of eating out is easy and there are a lot of restaurants nearby in walking distance And they gym is well thought of since it has dumbbells up to 75lbs and cable machine and kettle bells a rower a bike etc…The bad sides of the hotel is that they still us the plastic tiny bottles, also the windows are tiny in the room maybe 3ft wide kind reminds me of when I served time for the ponzy scam using alpacas but that’s another story for another day…

Also door is locked at 6pm so you have to use your key makes me feel like a teen trying to sneak into the hotel 🤫 🤐 🤫
