Stayed and played on a Sunday night Great selection of slots in both the smoking and non-smoking section We had very good drink service on the casino floor and well highballs were only $3

75Limited restaurant options, but very good value especially if you use your points for foodThe room stay brought this review down a star, contrary to another reviewer, we did not like our bed at all The mattress was too soft and the bedding was too light for us We could have used another blanket Other than that, the room and bathroom were beautiful, clean and I liked the vanity, toilet, shower stall layout Fridge, microwave and coffee maker are always appreciated

Amanda Thompson

Good selection of slot machines including an above average mix of new games/ machines in my opinion Staff is always very nice, polite, helpful, and accommodating as possible I love the new parking garage

Just wish they had valet and the main casino floor was open 24/7 on weekends if not all week I hope they plan on opening the buffet again!!I LOVED the buffet they had and REALLY MISS EATING there!!

A bit long winded but honest review We decided to take our kids here to celebrate our 21 year old son’s birthday Our plan was to take both kids, 19 and 21, to a great dinner and some fun

we booked a suite for the night The room was beautiful and did not disappoint We were thrilled to find out they had machines that my 19 year old could play too! However, dinner 1 restaurant was open for the entire casino and the hotel guests too That restaurant was located in the casino so my daughter couldn’t go We had to get the pizza and burgers to go We really wanted a nice dinner This restaurant had steaks and looked delicious We couldn’t eat there with 1 of us being under age Highly disappointed in the food options It took a good 20 minutes standing in line to order, and another 20 minutes for the food to be done And another 20 minutes of standing in line to pick it upIf I had known this was the case, we would have found a different place to go

We stayed for 3 nights in early May The manager, Jessica, was very welcoming and helpful Kalvin was our breakfast host and he just got the day off to a great start

Sandy behind the counter served up a great meal with a warm smile The room was clean and all staff we encountered made it a very pleasant stay There is a park within walking distance just up the road; don’t miss it if you have the time It’s beautiful and very peaceful

Hot Toddy

I love this hotel! The pool and hot tub are perfect The staff are always so nice and bend over backwards to be helpful I got my daughter a to-go plate from their breakfast buffet and from start to finish, she was over the moon

“This is the sweetest cantaloupe! The sausage is incredible!” I took a video of her eating breakfast because I’ve never seen her so happy with her food A+

Kim C

My family and I stayed for just one night, but we had such a great experience in just that short time The staff at this hotel are very attentive and friendly! Their customer service was 100 percent on point Especially Jessica (front desk) and Kalvin (the breakfast server)

They were absolutely awesome! We would return and stay here again just because of them Our room was very spacious and clean and beds were comfortable as well We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area

For the star rating of hotel you can’t complain too muchFirst, the staff here are excellent The front desk staff who checked us in and out were incredibly polite and helpful

Second, free cookies at 6pm every nightThe fitness suite and hot tub are small but very usable Air flow in the hot tub room needs improving, the walls and ceilings have water damageThe room itself is comfortable and generally very nice The pillows are a little small and the mattresses need updating soon, but they stand for nowThe bathroom was excellently clean Rooms come equipped with hairdryer, iron and ironing board too The fridge in the room only just stayed coldOverall it was a very comfortable stay Room cleanliness cannot be faulted Staff friendliness cannot be faultedThe breakfast however was disappointing, the parking lot was very icy, and the mattress could have been better It’s a close 4 star but has to remain a 3

Sam Tappen

Everything was as expected and we were satisfied for the decent price we paid The continental breakfast very good – even better than most other Best Westerns which I believe are among the best in that regard My biggest complaint was that there were young homeless people everywhere and it didn’t seem safe to leave the hotel at night

but that seemed to be the case throughout this entire region

The GOOD: the lady at the front desk who said it was her first day on her own was an absolute darling The beds were comfy, the lighting was bright and the water stayed nice and hot The location is within walking distance to all kinds of stores

The BAD: There are hardly any outlets, not even on the lamp on the nightstand The mini fridge barely worked The guy who checked me in was very rudeThe INEXCUSABLE: My fiance was extremely sick due to an infection and had to be hospitalized unexpectedly Before taking him to the ER, he was sick in bed and soiled the sheets The ER admitted him After he settled in to his hospital room, I left to go clean up the mess I rinsed them out in the bathtub and was going to take them to laundromat across the street to clean them After I rinsed the sheets before going to the laundromat, I checked my phone and saw that I missed a call from the hospital to say that they were giving my fiance emergency surgery I left the sheets in the tub in a panic and rushed to the hospital While waiting in the hospital during his surgery I received a call from the hotel saying there was an issue with my room I called them back and was transferred to the housekeeping manager She was beyond rude and admonished me for leaving the sheets and that they threw them in the wash but she wasn’t sure if she could salvage them When I told I had planned on cleaning the sheets myself, but my fiance was in the hospital, she said “okay? Well you just bought yourself a pair of sheets” To be talked to like that while dealing with my fiance and his unexpected and scary surgery, alone in an unfamiliar city was inexcusable My fiance’s surgery was successful and he should be discharged tomorrow morning, thank God, but I still cannot believe how this woman berated me for sheets

Was told I had to park in the lot at $10+ tax Turns out street parking was free between 5pm and 8am so that would have worked fine for me Bottled water is $5, which is straight up highway robbery

I could hear footsteps above me until that person went to bed Was asked by staff “what brings me to town” which is an annoying disingenuous question and frankly none of their business, kind of like when the cashier at wholefoods asks what your plans for the weekend arePrice was ~$180 There were no bedbugs and the room smelled fine Toilet was cleanI mean if you didn’t do your homework to find a good Airbnb ahead of time and you need something last minute in downtown Olympia, this is what there is It’s not bad It’s not great Bring earplugs and check out the street parking before you decide to pay to use their lot

This hotel is in a serious state of disrepair The bathroom looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years There is blood on the walls

The ottoman in living room is torn up The curtains are filthy Half the rooms in the building are tented and are being gutted The website advertises having electric vehicle charging and the front desk informed us there isn’t charging and that they need to update the website On top of that parking costs $10 a day which is a joke I am just getting back into staying with Hilton and this is leaving a really bad impression Tried to use the online chat feature on Hiltoncom to voice concerns and was told they can’t do anything since I was already checked in You can’t take feedback on a property after some is checked in? What a joke I have a lot of travel booked with Hilton this year, but I might need to start going back to Marriott after this

Alexandra Parrott

The only good thing about this hotel is the location and the front desk staff I’ve stayed here three times this year and the last time I just decided not to give it another chanceWhile the staff is very friendly and helpful, the last time we stayed we had to switch rooms twice

Construction starts early in the morning and is so loud it wakes you up Heater was broken in the second room But worst of all, the shower is terrible Luke warm at best, water pressure sucks and the shower head sprays everywhere The design of the shower makes it so you have to walk in and stand under the water just to turn it on, so you get sprayed with cold water Parking $10 a day, as others have mentioned If I can’t have a hot shower, and can’t have peace and quiet because of construction, why would I stay here?

The absolute worst experience with a hotel! Never in my years of travel had I experienced such poor customer service, lack of care for cleanliness, sanitation, and a willingness to help their customers On the day of check in while we were traveling we received a voicemail the hotel needed payment before checking in, sense we didn’t answer (again traveling) they canceled our reservation gave or requested room type away and then proceeded to explain because we didn’t answer our phone and with only several hours left before we checked in they had to cancel the room Stay here if you dare! It’s not worth your time, money or health!! They don’t care about you or your family

I am beyond livid I am so deeply frustrated by the incompetency of the hotel management I am currently staying at this hotel for one night

I called last Sunday and specifically asked if they had a jacuzzi I needed desperately to be able to relax Have two boys with me I was told it was out of service, but was rest assured by the time I came it would be up and running I was also told for my one night stay here it would cost $200 Which is pretty pathetic to say the least When check in time came to be I asked about the jacuzzi and was told the pump just now went out What?!!!! Are you serious!! I am so beyond angry! Then I was told that I could use the pool What a joke I wanted to relax in the jacuzzi while the kids played in the pool Then was told for the inconvenience I would get a discount My discount was lowered by $164 My total still ended up to be $200 because of extra charges/ taxes Wow! Thanks for that military discount I will never be coming to this establishment ever again

B-Mac Lagasse

This Inn is in a great location having a grocery store across the street and a few different places to grab a bite to eat There is also a movie theater not that far down the street with many other stores around the area that are close as well Being close to the freeway for easy access is nice and you don’t have to worry about the noise either

Breakfast is until 10 and check out is noon! The rooms are very spacious and comfortable with a ac/heat that isn’t a loud disturbing noise to keep you awake or having to turn the TV up to hear The room we had had wheelchair accessories like a nice walk in shower with a seat attached to the wall and 2 shower heads, one detached and the other set The price was great as well There is a indoor pool and hot tub as well as a gym and other amenities on the grounds No stairs are needed to climb either All in all this is definitely one of the better hotels in olympia for price and location

Excellent service from the staff Carolyn, the GM, has been extremely helpful along with the staff for accommodating our needs for an extended stay It’s pricier, however it’s well worth it to have a place to stay with a functioning mini-kitchen, showers and beds

A small taste of home away from home Also pet friendly, but the places for pets to use the restrooms are limited

Larry Clutter

$300 for this hotel is like paying $75 for a loaf of bread Run down, not well kept at all, worn out, and I paid for a King sized bed and got a Queen I am a Platinum Member with Marriott, and supposed to be on the top floor so I can hear the heard of elephants above me

One of the perks of being Platinum Level I got the basement Not even the 1st floor I asked about the top floor and even the King Bed, and was told they were sold out I booked the room 3 months ago I would sleep in the car before paying $300 for this place again

Jenner Southerland

This is my second time staying at this hotel Both times, the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful The area of town is nice and walking distance from lots of restaurants and shops

The rooms are nice and updated The reason for only 3 stars? Both visits, I was traveling with my sister and slept on the sofa bed On the second stay, the outside of the sofa was covered in crumbs and house cleaning didn’t change the dirty sheets inside Not sure if I will be staying here again Lord knows what else isn’t clean!

The good reviews here are well-founded We checked in around 10:30 pm with four children Although there were no available parking spaces left near the entrance, the receptionist (Otillia) kindly moved her car to open up a space, which made the unpacking much easier

We had interactions with about four other staff members, all of which were entirely pleasant

American Heritage campsite provides a pleasant and safe experience The only thing that fell short is that the pool was closed There is a safe and clean playground

The sites are clean, quiet, nicely shaded with trees and offer plenty of privacy The manager was welcoming and helpful and even offered us small flashlights to guide our steps over a few paths with heavy tree roots at night The laundry facility was excellent and very clean There is a comfortable sitting area The restrooms are well-maintained and the showers are roomy and supply plenty of hot water with adjustable temperature I highly recommend American Heritage campsite

Wow! What a great campground! You can tell the owner takes pride of ownership! First off, the entrance has such a welcoming feeling, then you meet the owner who makes you feel like your home from a long trip! What a gentle soul she is! The trees and grass around the camp is so well maintained As we drove through the campsite to locate our spot, I felt as if I was driving through a magical Forrest! I wish we could have stayed longer, but we definitely will come back and stay again Thank you Rita!

Last night at about 2am I called to book a room and the guy tried very hard to NOT get me to stay there Even suggested the Lacey location I told him I really wanted to stay there

He said he only had his MOST EXPENSIVE room available but I said I’d take it When I got there I found out that this hotel is not American It absolutely refuses to accept cash at all It says right on our money “this note is legal tender for all debts, public and private” (please take note of the word ALL) I even offered to put my credit card on file (with all the funds) and then pay in cash in the morning When I asked about WHEN they stopped accepting legal tender the guy told me I had an attitude and then said “You know what, you had an attitude on the phone too I’m refusing service to you You can’t get a room here” I told him I was only trying to have a conversation with him but left and found a much friendlier hotel at Best Western

Creator Gator

Mason, the person working the front desk the night of arrival and departure, was a great, fun person, who went out of his way to get a tape measure to measure the bed in my room (it looked smaller than what I thought a queen bed was, but it was ultimately a queen bed) Outstanding service by him, and room was super clean, with a great breakfast They have cooking supplies, but be sure to bring your own glasses and silverware!

Unplanned stop due to weather I love the grand feel of the lobby with couches in several groupings, TV area and the lovely woodwork of this hotel Staff were very pleasant and professional

The room and other areas were clean and pleasant Room was quite large and we appreciated the refrigerator and microwave so we could have a nice dinner without going out again in the weather Business center was appreciated as we needed to print some materials for our zoom calls The breakfast was excellent and used good covid safety procedures Breakfast staff were very helpful to customers, especially some who were in wheelchairs and needed assistance Since we stopped because of the weather, we probably will not need to stop there again, but if we do, this is where we will stay

This was a great stay! The front desk staff was friendly and professional Our room was a good size and very clean Parking was easy and free

The hotel is close to lots of shopping and in quick cycling distance of the Chehalis Western Trail (which is absolutely beautiful!)I washed several loads of laundry here and it was inexpensive compared with other hotels where I’ve done laundry However, the dryer was somewhat ineffectiveAlso, we loved the included breakfast There was a variety of offerings and plenty of itWe would absolutely stay here again!
