The best (affordable) hotel we’ve stayed in, in Houston! We come here several times a month with our medically complex son who visits the Children’s hospital frequently and this is the only place we will stay! Always clean, very friendly staff, every accommodation you can think of and the beds great A comfy stay in a very comfortable neighborhood Definitely recommend!

I don’t like leaving bad reviews unless they are truly warranted But this place… Just no Don’t stay here

The first room they gave us didn’t have functioning air conditioning The second room it barely worked The carpet was filthy and had stains all over it You could feel the springs in the bed The bathrooms weren’t very clean and the caulk was nasty For the price of this hotel and the fact that it was a Residence Inn I was really disappointed The overall upkeep and cleanliness was very poor Don’t spend your money at this hotel

R L

Not the best service experience at this hotel I am allergic to feather pillows I state on my profile preferences foam only

I requested foam and the hotel had noneI asked for a blanket to cover the feather pillows, the front desk staff never brought them to my room The elevator was out for more than 24 hours on my building The room was clean and breakfast was good

Room layout was nice in that there were 2 separate bedrooms and a large kitchenette But carpets and furniture were old and dirty I couldn’t sit down on couches because they were so dirty and stained

Found a german cockroach crawling around Service was horrible As a bonvoyage gold member, I was expecting a room upgrade and free water bottles, but they only give room upgrades to elite and platinum members They also wanted to charge for water Location is also sketchy, and I didn’t feel safe going outside after dark Don’t understand all the high 4-5 star reviews

Toni Foster

The rooms are cute, worth the money They provide pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates for 4, bowls, cups and eating utensils Located right next to Walmart can purchase food to cook as you’ll have a 2 burner oven, electric, if not there’s Chick-fil-A and Jack in A Box are right there also

Room was clean and cold! Employees always nice Will be staying again

Evan

Excellent stay here at TownPlace Suites Staff was always friendly, daily housekeeping, large hot/cold buffet breakfast, pool, 24/7 fitness center, mini convenience store, comfortable lobby, and comfortable well-equipped rooms The rooms had a dishwasher, utensils/silverware/plates, microwave, cold fridge/freezer at minimum

The beds were comfortable but the pillows could be improved upon The desk/storage space was great and the sofa had a headrest and a comfortable pillow for stretching your legs out Cable TV with functionality for streaming services Elevators were clean and fast All around great stay! (25 nights for medical rotation)

Stayed in the executive floor with the newly remodeled suite I believe our work group was first to stay in this floor after remodeling The suite was spacious and very well designed

They had not opened the lounge yet The staff was very friendly and they did have a bar downstairs as well Our package included breakfast which had a very good spread of eggs and breakfast meats that changed every day in addition to bread, cereals, etcReducing 1 star because the TV did not work and construction was happening during the day But overall great experience and would stay there again

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your resort This website will compare countless booking websites and usually will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of my favorites in this area

I have been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few days you won’t be let downHands down the best hotel I stayed at during my vacation the entire front office crew are rockstars each person I dealt with was kind, helpful and accommodating The night manager even followed up on a request I had submitted that he thought had gone unanswered The housekeeping crew was nice as well I will be back next month renovations are currently going on not a deal breaker also the renovated rooms are pretty sleek I didn’t try out the breakfast or bar this trip maybe next time

San Antonio Realtor Maria T Ferreira EXP Realty LLC

The hotel rooms are clean and very spacious Front desk checked me in and out fairly quickly Having a suite room is a big plus for me

It’s close proximity to the major highways and the Galleria was a definite winner The only thing I didn’t like about it is their toilet easily get clogged so we had to call for a service crew to get it done They were very prompt and took care of the issue quickly so that was really great I’m not a fan of “climate controlled” Ac coz I love it super cold when I’m in bed I would have given it a 5 star if it weren’t for the the toilet issue and the climate controlled ac

Jared Stump

This was my first time (August 2021) staying at a Westin property and it did not disappoint Everything was top-notch and I LOVED the oversized sofa in the room Staff were extremely professional and friendly

Loved all the little touches everywhere, but what really sold me was the direct connection to the Galleria without going outside, exercise room on a high floor overlooking the city, and free parking I cannot say enough good things about this hotel!

Beau Windham

Booked an executive suite here for Mother’s Day last weekend to take my wife on a shopping spree We showed up 30 minutes early to check in knowing the room might not be ready but to store our bags and hit the mall We came back an hour after our arranged check in time (about 1

5 total hours later) with our 8 month old confident that the room would be ready as we were assured it would be It was not Our son was ready to eat and go down for a nap For a four star hotel I was surprised to find the staff could do nothing to accommodate us, my wife ended up nursing our child at the daily grill where that staff claimed they were unable to sit us in the back so my wife could nurse in private We ended up getting sat right by the kitchen I’ve had better quality customer service at 2 and 3 star budget hotels The inability to problem solve was a shocker Total Incompetence On top of that there was no body wash in the shower and the alarm was preset to go off at 4:30 am It is unlikely that we ever return or recommend this hotel to anyone…

Eileen Venn

Staff was so nice! Our rental car got the Catalytic Converter stolen from the parking garage and the security, hotel manager were so accommodating and nice about the situation I would recommend valet parking your car hereAlso, Vilma was one of the nicest ladies I have met, she assisted with breakfast every morning with the most positive attitude

Any employer would be lucky to have her! Thanks for making our stay enjoyable after a rough startPlus walking out from the hotel to the mall is a plus!

I came with my 13 y/o daughter and our stay was great The room was clean and so nice The view was amazing

The staff were so sweet Parking is safe The next time I come to Houston I won’t even think twice about staying somewhere different Thank you so much for making our birthday special, it meant everything to us The location is also very convenient to restaurants, Starbucks, and the mall

Gabby Billups

I stayed here for my birthday vacation, and I’m SO glad I did First off, the staff was top tier, especially at breakfast One of the hosts in the restaurant there greeted everyone in their language

The waitresses were so nice at the ARA Breakfast Lounge and everything was so delicious My room was very clean on arrival and had a great view of the skyline Location was perfect for me and my boyfriend Everything was within a 10 minute Uber ride, and it was near the highway so going back to the airport was no trouble, even though that drive was longer I really could go on, but I’ll just say this I will be staying here again and have made it my business to have a yearly trip to H-Town This was my first time in Texas, and they made it a great stay

Lorraine Cunningham

This place was beautiful for holding a conference The food was pretty goodThe amenities were a different story

We paidfor the top corner room with the concierge lounge but guess what? We were there for the weekend but the lounge wasn’t open on the weekend In the room as well as the public bathrooms, the toilet seats were so low to the ground it’s like they were put there for children Watch out for those bathrooms too The far wall in the shower looked like it wasn’t cleaned in months

Yannie Nicole

The hotel room was very clean and comfy, I had a girls night slumber party and it was the best The room was cool on a hot Saturday night and the Hotel desk agent was more than happy to get me some ice (because I lack sense of direction in finding an ice machine 🤣) The shower was nice and hot, I mean REALLY hot, and the water pressure was the best ever

I slept like a newborn baby after a night of cake and gummy bears I would absolutely book this hotel again 🥰

From the moment I walked in, the experience was amazing The lobby is gorgeous and the customer service was exceptional Checking in was super easy, the room I had was clean and spacious

The area around the hotel felt safe and is in the medical districtI was in town for business and also attended a meeting in one of the hotel meeting rooms The food provided was perfect, the meeting space was spacious and the staff that assisted throughout the meeting was friendly and professional I hope to visit Houston again for business and I would stay here every time

Sherrell Moorer

This was an amazing and discreet hotel It’s nestled just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown Houston, but still close enough The decor is swanky yet contemporary

The staff (Ana, Angelina) were always full of smiles and assistance The portions for breakfast were quite large and very tasty The rooms are so comfortable that I didn’t want to leave The room was cleaner extremely well and the amenities kit had everything you need in the room There are small free bottles of water and great room service Me and my husband will definitely return!!

Staff was extremely friendly and responsive to our requests and concerns, especially Jameson and Rachel Complimentary breakfast was great, delicious, and all prepared in-house Great location and very close to medical center, zoo, and museums

Excellent outdoor patio and pool! Our kids loved it and so cool that there is large area that is only 1ft deep so they could play safely Our only complaint with this hotel was that, since the hotel is new, the new tile floors in the rooms were riddled with paint and construction traffic One suggestion we would give this hotel would be to add automatic doors when entering from parking garage as it was difficult to enter with wheelchair and luggage cart We will stay here again!

Alexzandria Barrett

Amazing and beautiful! This was a personal and business trip! My cousins and I wanted a quick getaway from Dallas! As a travel agent I checked the photos and the reviews prior to booking! The reviews and photos were great! The staff was friendly and they also serve a hot breakfast! The sitting area outside is beautiful and has comfortable seating! This hotel is new, and it was very nice in the lobby area I was able to check in a day before on my phone using the Hilton app as well as used it for the room as a key! I love that you can use the app on your phone to open the door and the app also allows you to turn lights on & off, the thermostat and as a remote! Our room had a view of the pool and it was very quiet The room was really nice, the bathroom was nice as well! The room has a full size refrigerator, microwave and Keurig

I will definitely be returning! I can’t wait to book this for my clients, family or friends!

Shannon Belangia

Staff was friendly and helpful The hotel was spotless and comfortable The location is within a few minutes of MD Anderson

The MD Anderson rate isn’t posted on the website so call if you’re a patient! While this hotel is not as convenient as being connected to the hospital, it’s significantly less expensive than my normal hotel and does provide a shuttle It’s a great option!

Hotel is very well located right on San Felipe Blvd and a few blocks away from main attractions such as shopping malls, pharmacies and restaurants The hotel is a bit outdated but it seems it’s currently undergoing renovations Service was great and very hands on! Very personal and people greeting you by your name at all times

Big shoutout to the valet team! Rooms are big and spacious You can find almost all amenities needed for a leisure trip We stayed on the x15-20’s rooms and their view is very nice, you can see the nearby skyline scene Definitely a great option to consider if you are staying in the area

Jim Foster

Very disappointing Even though some of the staff was very kind the hotel is no longer a good representative of the St Regis I knew The food tasted like it was a frozen hungry man dinner and the decor was very worn

When we arrived the room was hot and took a long time to cool down The sofa was stained and the cushions were coming apart at the seams The carpet was a patchwork of replacement pieces and the bed linens were so wrinkled and messy it looked like someone had just pulled up the duvet after sleeping in it It did not look or feel clean When we ordered breakfast they delivered breakfast and then the coffee came several minutes later because of some butler service? It was so annoying that two separate people had to disturb us in the morning We won’t be returning to this or any other St Regis for awhile it’s no better than a Marriott courtyard

Amber Blumenstock

Most Amazing Stay! I was really looking forward to this much needed “solo dolo” relaxation vacation From the moment I arrived to the moment I got in my Uber to go home, everything was spectacular When you walk in it smells like LOVE

They made me feel special at every turn! Samantha was a fantastic receptionist and explained everything I needed to know Valet was terrific and even greeted me by name I got upgraded and ended up on the 11th floor and the view was amazing Rooms were spacious, clean and came with its own set of robes and slippers I ordered a lot, and I mean a lot of food over the course of my 4 day stay and almost everything was perfect The only thing not enjoyable was the avocado toast Steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection, and OMG the lobster bisque is the BEST I have ever tasted ordered it 3 times (and its one of my favorite dishes so I almost always order it wherever I go ) This bisque was full of meat and flavor and I need that recipe All the sides were flavorful and the desserts were sinful Shout out to the creator of that Crème Brule Never had one like it and am going to try and recreate it It is a must try when you go there Breakfast was amazing and fast I ordered room service several times and was not disappointed by the food or the wonderful conversation I had with the server The main reason I picked this hotel was because of the Tea Time I invited my friends and we had an unforgettable experience Not to mention, there was a live harpist playing in the background, which would take requests for music We wanted to ask her to play “The Boy is Mine” with Brandy and Monica but figured that would be a very far reach in this particular environment I visited the pool, which was heated-ish but still comfortable enough to swim in and it was only 75 degrees I don’t have one bad thing to say about St Regis or the staff Thank you all so much for a wonderful getaway

Just a Countertenor

This hotel was generally fine but had many small issues in our room We were booked in room 408 and there were several small maintenance issues The drain in the tub was broken, there was duck tape between the carpet and kitchen tile floor, the kitchen sink drips constantly, some cabinets were slightly broken, the dishes were not clean, and some of the provided amenities such as the soap bottles and note pad were dirty

The note pad had actually been drawn on, likely by a child, with crayon but whoever cleaned the room didn’t change it out The bed was clean and comfortable, but they only provide two pillows for each double bed The breakfast buffet was small but likely suitable for most guests Overall I would say that I won’t be returning to this hotel, as there are many other hotels in the area If this hotel is significantly cheaper than others then it might be worth it, depending on your standard of quality

Roni Lavay

I did not stay, however I booked a room for a friend for 5 days I paid over $680 and when my friend checked out they actually tried to charge her $400! The room was $80 per day I overpaid and requested a refund for the difference

They gave me the runaround and alot of mumbo jumbo I do not appreciate being ripped off I used a credit card so I will dispute the difference I would never recommend this hotel

Kayla Stutson

I knew it was a red flag when we pulled up and there was an empty grocery cart hanging off of the curb There isn’t any furniture in the hallways but silhouette stickers of furniture and trash lined hallways instead The elevator smelled like weed and our first room smelled like smoke

The front desk was very helpful and allowed us to move to another room immediately and apologized for the inconvenience The second room had damage to the walls, old carpet, chipped furniture, and badly needed renovations and updates There was a used q-tip on top of the safe in the bathroom It was so late that we just checked the bed, showered, and tried to get some sleep “Breakfast” consisted of potatoes, bacon, and eggs, watery oatmeal, dirty cereal dispensers, boils eggs and plain bagels When we returned to the room we found a roach crawling across the bathroom floor The staff was very nice and accommodating when we told them about our visitor but we left and booked the Courtyard down the street for less

We stayed here for 4 nights One of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in as a family The suite was set up as an effiency apartment and was perfect for our needs

Lots of storage places, maximum use of space, the shower was updated and accessible Lots of food nearby (literally next door), and the parking garage easy to use Staff was always nice and helpful

Very nice, clean place to stay and it’s proximity to the NRG stadium made it a quick 10 minute walk to our venue The perk to staying here is they do NOT rent out their parking to the public during events It was nice to know your vehicle is safe from would be thieves

The property is well kept and the staff was friendly & welcoming If ever in the area again I would definitely choose this property over others in the area

Simply superb! Stayed five nights Every time we entered the lobby the staff acknowledged my family with a warm welcome Clean, homey, and had everything we needed after a long stay in the hospital

The staff was incredible every one of them was very welcoming and very friendly! Now for the rooms, they need a major upgrade we had tiny ants which I was like whatever it happens no biggie but everything was very jank! Nothing to do with the employees I know that but the owner/management needs to step it up and redo their rooms Just some food for thought! The grounds were nice just need a lot of updates in the rooms for the price you pay Hopefully, they can give them some love and care and put a little love into them and not have such cheap junk! Spend a little of that money and put it into your rooms

Again we appreciate all the friendly employees that were just amazing thank you y’all 💜

My stay was for 5/1/2022 – 5/6/2022 (nice rooms)On our first night, our Tundra had its catalytic converter stolen while parked under a security camera, and parking lot light (Hotel staff offered no help, and mentioned that corporate took away their security guard)On our 3rd day, one of my 7 reservations was canceled without a reason

We were instructed to simply share a room (points were offered, but never sent)On the 4th day, both elevators went out on a 5 story hotel Some guests visiting the medical center for cancer services did not have the strength to reach their rooms via stairs One of our group had a great deal of difficulty due to recent knee replacementsStaff was friendly, but the front desk had a consistent attitude

All the staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and informative The rooms are super clean and well equipped Breakfast in the morning has variety and a welcome plus

The proximity to the Galleria, Freeways and surrounding areas are perfect The parking is well lit and safe We set our son up with an extended stay here for a summer internship in Houston This is a great alternative for short term housing I stay in a lot of hotels for work and this location sets the bar high for cleanliness and customer service

Location, it was clean the studio suite had plenty ofroom safe area- They only cleaned rooms once every 5 or 7 days, youfigure if the rona is as serious as they claim and the staffwears mask you’d want to clean the rooms more than once aweek The bathroom sink had no water pressure, but theshower did so I can give that a pass

Other than that weenjoyed our stay there

Dawn Petitt

The hotel wasn’t an excellent location for walking to the mall I also found it to be clean and family friendly My husband left some clothes he bought at the mall in our room ,the manager Tom Flow along with the assistance of Martha Kasabova managed to get to a UPS facility and get the clothes shipped to us

We would definitely stay there again

The location of the hotel is great Centrally located and close to highways That is where the good part ends

I stayed at this hotel earlier this month and a request to accommodate an allergy was overlooked This is usually not a big deal once I bring it to the attention to the staff and everything is rectified After my first night at this hotel I woke up sick, to which I asked for the item triggering my allergic reaction to be replaced My request was denied at the front desk by a lady named Angela, and she recommended that I find a different hotel to stay for the night Phenomenal customer service Needless to say, I was not able to stay at the hotel that night I reached out to Marriott and the hotel manager, Heather Both have chosen to ignore me There is literally another Marriott property next door to this hotel, including various other hotels within the area Save yourself the headache and stay elsewhere

Customer service from all hotel staff was friendly, but that was the only good thing about this hotel Once checking into my room there was a funky smell coming from the hallway & bathroom Also found that the hotel phone didn’t work and hot water was scorching HOT where I almost burned myself

The A/C is not very strong so you have to put it down to 60 degrees to feel anything! I would give this hotel a 6/10 and would try maybe the sister property in the same location at Marriott Residence Inn if your trying to get points as a Marriott Bonvoy member

I have been visiting this hotel in this location off and on for about 40 years

Formerly called The Warwick, it has been updated in a more modern fashion, transformed from conservative to a bit edgy in the decor The ZaZa is upscale yet warm and friendly Fairly nice rooms, wonderful restaurant and brunch, and nice bar It prides itself in it’s Excellent location and view of the museum district Will return again!

Daniel Harrison

Pros: Awesome location (lots of parks, museums, and other things to do within walking distance), room was beautiful and spacious, overall hotel decor was excellent – though eclectic – restaurant was really good, pool & pool area was nice Hotel was overall very clean and housekeeping did a great jobCons: Room price was very expensive

Spa & minibar prices were absurd Front desk/concierge service was fine but not amazing

Front desk and valet really wonderful Room was spacious and clean Great breakfast buffet

Only suggestions are for better overall service in restaurant Really important for greetings to be friendly and welcoming, & better overall teamwork for the prices Fitness area is amazing! Would love to see rollers and stretching bands up there for our backs Pool area so pretty Some sort of fountain might cover up the traffic sounds? Neighbors across the hall were really noisy after midnight Not sure if hotel can do a walk around sometimes? Wold love filtered water available near ice machines Hallways were very pretty and clean

As a Marriott club member this particular stay hands down was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had Juliet – I can not rave enough about her From the greeting at the desk, seamless check-in to enhancing our overall stay and making it feel like a home away from home

Juliet was so kind and well mannered in my difficult transaction situation! This was such a great weekend with my girls and kind staff in hospitality, retail etc… is so hard to come by JW – please praise your staff for the things you see and even the things you don’t Thank you Juliet and the bartender Cecilia and the one from my stay this morning made a mean Espresso Martini Just all around kudos! 🤎

Rebecca Vail

This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had I had the pleasure of meeting Allen in valet and Jenni at the front desk and they were two of the most personable people I’ve ever met Both of them (and the entire staff) were incredibly helpful during my stay

Allen went out of his way to save me a trip to the parking lot and Jenni went out of her way to make sure a package of mine went out to the courier on time while I was not at the hotel The entire staff at this hotel is truly amazing – made me feel like I’ve known them my whole life
