First time staying at Homewood Suites in Hamburg and will definitely stay again They are under renovation but everything was clean Our room was was very clean

The hotel was very quiet The staff was helpful and the sweetest Always smiling!I would highly recommend!!!

Rich Basher

Didn’t realize at time of booking hotel was under renovation Should have paid more attention to the notice prior to booking on the app Also a diamond and not recognized / offered water and snack

Ice machine on our floor didn’t work so had to go down to the first floor to get Room was very clean but had only one bath towel even though I included two guests on reservation Hotel was quiet – no work done at night so we did get a good night sleep Left really early so only grabbed coffee Hot food wasn’t out yet but looked like it was being prepared Would return after renovations are complete

Vickie Evans

Very nice room Motel was close to I75 so I thought the traffic noise was going to be a problem but it was not a problem at all surprisingly quiet This property is under a major renovation so the front desk and breakfast area was moved down a hallway and we were told all rooms were being renovated top to bottom

Our room was SUPER nice even though it had not been renovated It had a kitchenette with plates, cups and cooking utensils a stove microwave and full size refrigerator Breakfast was included, it was good, just not much variety in what was served maybe due to the renovations

Neal had amazing customer service skills and he went above and beyond to help check me in early I gave 4 stars because I was charged $30 to check in 2 hrs early which I only paid because I was exhausted and needed to rest Can’t expect much for the price but I’ve stayed here many times and never had any issues always a nice experience

Clayton was also very kind & helpful while I checked out he had me out the door with my deposit within 10 minutes and he even checked the room Will definitely stay here again

Chris Smyth

I checked in at 5am on 3-2-22 paid full price for 6 hours Asked about staying the same night and maybe the price be pro-rated I was told I would be able to talk to the manger between 8am-10am

Manger isn’t in today Convenient huh!!!! Told the lady at the front desk my issues Issues areblood on the bathroom door Feces on the walls, roach crawled across my food Had to trash it Will not give me a refund or give me a good discount I asked that my number be given to someone who can do something about this I want my money back Nasty place to stay I have pictures to prove my issues Still Refusing to call someone or to do anything to fix this! Do not recommend

Darrell Mills

We had a last minute procedure scheduled at one of the local hospitals We went last minute and still got the medical rate and they waived the early check in fee The room was extremely clean and well stocked

The staff was amazing It’s not a Hilton, but it’s definitely 5 stars in our book We have several more overnight appointments coming up, so we will be back!!

Horrible just horrible! Stayed this past weekend with biker group pool was green as grass with rocks at bottom good thing it rained an we didn’t want to go swimming, room was dirty looked like sheets hadn’t been cleaned or changed since last person who stayed there went up front to get new sheets to change myself after a late checkin and long drive front desk tells us she apologizes housekeeping doesn’t change cover or top sheet on rooms because they don’t have enough to take them all off an wash them to be replaced! Then next morning come down for breakfast same older front desk lady from night before was there doing breakfast coughing and hacking up a lung then proceeds to tell me an my wife she was sick so we got our coffee and left only to be home few days to my wife now feeling sickly herself so when we went an got checked for her to come back positive with covid 19! Also they jacked the price up for one of our nights on the weekend from 9524 to 11999 so check your receipt folks they are scamming people!

We stayed 2 nights and had a fairly good experience The bed was comfortable though a thicker blanket would have been much better There is a certain degree of shabbiness to the hotel in general and our room in particular – stains/wear in the carpets and scuffed walls

The room wasn’t as clean as we would have liked There was hair in the tub, faint stains on the bed linens But probably the most problematic- the dark-colored carpet was so grimy that our light colored socks showed stains after walking around in our socked feet But I didn’t see a single bug Staff were super friendly But the ‘free breakfast’ was not edible for us Still, for the price range, this was a fairly good stay

In all, would recommend[PROS] The lobby is really nice, and is perfect for lounging in There’s also a non-smoking policy (200$ charge if you smoke in hotel room), so no marijuana smell like a lot of other hotels

The room itself was clean and had all the amenities that a normal hotel would have I payed 142$ for a room that could fit a family of 5-6 people The bed was super comfy as well Location was near a lot of restaurants[CONS] The room had a pull out bed my other family members were going to sleep in, but it didn’t come with extra pillows or blankets, just a really thin sheet and the bed itself Tried calling hotel service but didn’t even pick up! Ended up having to go down there and get the extra necessities Breakfast was okay, don’t get the nasty eggs though, but it’s free so go for it[Conclusion] Overall would come to hotel again, everything spotless/clean, no old furniture, hot water, and affordable considering what your getting Free pool, WiFi, free gym, free food The only big cons is the okay service, but if you needed to contact them I would just go to the front desk than waste your time calling them Location is perfect

Traveled to Lexington, KY with family members to take care of funeral arrangements and attend to matters related to the death of our brother Hyatt Place staff–front desk, breakfast crew, and housekeeping were very gracious They acknowledged our situation, expressed condolences, and made us feel comfortable using the front lobby seating areas and business center

Whatever we requested–hot water for tea, extra coffee packs for the room, fresh towels, permission to eat dinner in the “breakfast room”, glasses for use in our room–the staff cheerfully accommodated Thank you so much for being the “bright spots” during our stay

Amanda Sanders

Hotel staff were all nice There was a breakfast and the room was a nice size I look for 3 things in a hotel: a pool, a breakfast, and water pressure

The pool was cold, swimable, though unpleasant for a length of time and I did not have a desire to go back The water pressure was terrible and went down periodically which makes me think it is attached to another room where someone else was showering Also, you’d better take housekeeping when you can get it because even with specifically requesting a visit they did not come Stayed for 6 days, no housekeeping Had to go down to request towels Also, the traffic noise from the freeway was very loud Will not stay again

We booked and paid our room in February through third party Upon arrival in May, the clerk had an issue with payment being charged to third party and wouldn’t check us in Had to call third party to get it sorted out

Very annoying that I had to do this The staff was friendly and the room was clean, smelled good The pool was open but there was no hot tub as advertised on the website Basic continental breakfast served Signage outside the hotel said Newly Renovated, but couldn’t see where renovations where done My guess is it has been a while

It’s a nice hotel, the staff are really friendly and Liza is a gem if you get to meet with her! The gym is fantastic The treadmill has Bluetooth connectivity to headphones and watches I was able to watch stuff on YouTube on the treadmill which was nice

The sunset and sunrise views are on point I caught a glimpse of the sunrise but most definitely, you can’t miss the sunset from the parking lot of the hotel It’s also close to some nice restaurants and all in all, it’s a nice place to be

Samantha Saunders

We had a quick overnight stay while driving through Quick check in, clean The beds were comfortable but the hallways were loud

There was loud music outside in or near the parking lot after midnight so I put on my phone’s sound machine app The cracks around the door let a lot of sound and light through I was surprised the breakfast isn’t complimentary like comparable hotels I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here

John Flynn

The location was fantastic for convenience, only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 was that I heard the traffic from a nearby major road quite a bit It didn’t bother me much and for me the convenience of nearby gas and restaurants far outweighed any road noise but thought it bared mentionBeyond that the hotel was modern and clean and the staff was friendly

Excellent hotel for my purposes and I will stay here again next time

A late night stop while on the road The entrance had ample lighting, felt secure when walking in after darkThe rooms were clean and very comfortable

The beds, pillows were comfortable The room I was in had 2 beds, a microwave, mini fridge There were enough outlets in the room for several devices to be plug in at one time The lighting in the room was sufficient The bathroom excellent lighting, several towels and wash clothes in the bathroom as well The room had a hair dryer, an iron and an ironing board, a Keurig coffee maker and a couple of K cups, with paper coffee cupsThe staff the we encountered were friendly, polite, and knowledgeable about the the propertyThere is room service available, a sit down restaurant and bar in the lobby

Lovely clean and quiet location Slept very well Breakfast was not included with our room

Didn’t like the fact that their wifi was wide open There was a password with the key but no prompt to use it when setting up our ipads Called front desk to advise and was met with a general lack of concern No difference in situation by the time we left

Hotel looks new and clean from the exterior but the room itself had been heavily used with significant signs of wear – bathroom door wouldn’t close, pullout sofa had seen better days, strong odor from a previous guest (cooking?)The breakfast was good and evening cookies and lemonade were appreciated Giving three stars because of this and the staff who were helpful and friendly

During checkout the clerk insisted the room we were checking out of was incorrect and we were assigned to a different floor and room Not sure how this happened but it left me feeling a little uneasy about our stay

Mandy K

Rude and lazy employees ! Place was dirty – hair stuck to walls and left on handicap chair/sink Breakfast had only hard boiled eggs, the batter to make waffles was so watery you couldn’t make it in the waffle maker Biscuits were dry and hard

Had a dog barking all night next to us and the people above us jumping and loud I went to the front desk at midnight to complain and ask for help The man was unsympathetic and told me there was nothing he could do “ I can’t shut the dog up” I said we have a 10 hour drive and need to sleep We were given a handicap room ( no choice) The man at the front desk said the dog bothered the owner and drove her nuts so the dog was moved we have no other rooms Had to keep TV on loud to muffle out the slamming exit door and dog When first arriving the carpet was wet and the room had a weird smell The place does not looks like the pictures listed from the rooms to the breakfast! Thank God we only had to stay one night …

Kendra Mack

Decently clean, moderately priced The staff was friendly and helpful The first room we got smelled really, really bad

It smelled like someone bled all over the room and then they tried to cover it up with tons of cleaner We immediately asked for another room and they gave us one without any issues The next room we got was clean and it smelled normal The free breakfast was ok Just eggs and sausage plus the normal breads and cereals, etc They did have waffle makers, which we liked

Would never stay at this hotel againWas not sure what to expect, but from the moment we walked in things did not look properThe lobby floor and area where they serve breakfast were both dirty with junk on the floors, and the surfaces for the tea and coffee area looked like they had not been wiped down

We initially had one room that was extremely dirty I pulled back out sheets to check for bugs and saw what looked to be a vomit stain on the mattress cover The room was also missing a smoke detectorAdditionally, there was hair in our bed and on our lamp There were stains on the bathroom door and vanity We spoke to front desk and asked to show photos were told “no” and that something was probably just overlookedWe were moved to a new room- while not up to my standard of cleanliness, it is manageable for one nightThe hotel could use a good upgrade and really good scrubWith so many hotels in the same area- I would caution all the avoid avoid avoid

Grant Fifield

Stayed here for one night on a whim while traveling on family vacation with the kids, it was a Saturday night I’d give a solid 3 Continental breakfast was not the best but also not the worst I’ve ever had

We were in a double bed size room labeled as non smoking Room had a strong odor of cleaning supplies as if someone broke the rules but we stayed anyway Tv had good channels including some kids shows Hotel was pretty quiet but AC wasn’t very strong and made a funny sound A lot of the room furnishings needed replacing or fixing and the pool was outdoors and tiny Overall a 3, believe me though it is a rough looking place I’ve been to worse

TheBamaguy91

Do not stay here My family and I stayed here for 3 nights, and it was not very welcoming I had to go to the front desk every single day to get clean towels and wash rags just to take showers

We had 4 people with us, and the towels are not very good past one use Housekeeping never once came in and cleaned the room even after it was requested as we had 4 people in the room with 2 being children I wound up telling the man that if I wanted to clean, I would have stayed at home and cleaned my own house The light in the bathroom did not work, and some of the staff just acted like they could care less about you or anyone else for that matter At almost 100 bucks a night, I figured it would have been alot better experience I have stayed in several sleep inns over the years, and have never had this bad of an experience I do not recommend at all I could have probably stayed at a cheaper motel and it would have been better

Room was neat, clean, no bedbugs and roomy enough for my wife and me The bed was comfortable and cozyBreakfast was a variety of quick things to pick up and take away

cereal, fruit, bagelsThe best parts of the stay were the coffee you can get all day and ROXY, the desk clerkRoxy checked us inwas so kind, welcoming and friendly The next morning, Roxy was not only working the desk but was making sure breakfast items were stocked and the biscuit/sausages were warmThere was another gentleman at the desk as well but that young lady was pretty well running things herself 👏🏾🙂

Stayed at this hotel when I visited in town The hotel is very clean and the room is very comfortable and good size for just staying The hotel staff is very friendly and professional manner

I used a fitness room while I am staying The fitness equipments are still new and well maintained The breakfast is very simple and nothing fancy I usually have a simple breakfast, so it is enough for me and I like it’s free! I would like to stay this hotel when I visited in town again next time

Starr Watkins

Stay was okay, beds are comfortable, lobbies aren’t crowded However, the rooms are very small and the price quoted online is not the price you pay when you arrive Hotel was $110/night, we ended up being charged $134 and $128

Breakfast is okay, but most of it is to-go items and the hot breakfast item is a heated frozen Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich Housekeeping came while we were gone and only changed the toilet paper, didn’t give us new towels or fill up the empty body wash in the shower They also allow dogs and there was a dog barking in the next room from 6 am until 9 am If you’d rather stay somewhere with better amenities & spacious rooms, Marriot Courtyard is right down the street Or save your money and get a cheaper, decent motel

Im in the area a lot and this will probably be my go to hotelAs soon as I walked in the whole place smelled very clean

we had 3 rooms my husband checked everyone in before the rest of us got there He said lady at the front desk was very niceWhen I got there it was later different front desk person very helpful and nice The rooms were all clean comfortable bedsThen this morning two other front desk people all very nice very pleased

Amber Jiles

The staff are exceptional and nice, this is the reason for the 2 stars Stairwells had dead bugs and some form of animal feces Room itself was surface cleaned before our arrival

No bugs found in room We did ask for a new comforter because the middle had a bright yellow spot Curtains had blood stains, cigarette butts under the counter and the pool was not in service Overall, it was an ok stay Beds are comfortable I brought my own bleach and cleaned everything myself

Shannon Fritch

Our room had no heat- temp outside was in the 30s The only saving grace was the comforter on the bed to keep warm Tub did not drain

No napkins in the the breakfast room Silverware was not stocked and I had to go looking in all the cabinets to find some I have tried for almost a month to get a manager or owner to call me back to give me some kind of credit on my bill because I am not paying full price for a room with no heat I have been given the runaround and never gotten a call back from the owner I will now be disputing it with the credit card company because this hotel is not getting a dime from me If the owner (Mark) or pseudo-manager (Bridges Patel) would have tried to work with me, I might have agreed to pay half of the bill, but when all I get is silence and ignoring me, then I am done being nice THe room was also not very clean- there was dirt in the drawers and in the AC/Heating unit I have never had this bad of an experience at a choice Hotel before This hotel really needs to be disassociated from Choice to keep the reputation up of the Choice Network
