Thank you so much LT , Louie, Jazz, Melissa and Alexandria you all made my family feel so welcomed! The feeling their team gives you is like being “Home, but away from home”

The hotel is new and everything is vibrant The is hotel is valet parking only $33 night Not a problem I love to tip

However, I went through 8 different rooms after Checking in I changed 4 different rooms because of dirty beds One of the rooms had skid marks on the sheets, two had hair and crumbs and the other had toenails Not to mention the floor in the bathroom was dirty as you enter Finally the night clerk decided to go up with me and check it out We went through 4 more different rooms before finding a room that was cleaned properly She was really helpful I would give them another stay because the hotel is new I would hope they would hire new and or better maid help

Would choose 25 if it was an option 1st room, door latch screws fell off they moved us next door but the 2nd bathroom definitely had a smoker before so we closed it off

The hot tub was also roped off the whole time I may not have left a review but on Sunday they locked the door for breakfast at 9:35 even though the times posted on the door said Sunday breakfast would be open until 10 The breakfast area was nice

Crystal Rae

We had a late check in it was me and an 18m old baby After getting all checked in I went up to the room turned the air on and got my baby down and about an hour goes by and there isn’t any cool air coming in from AC went down to front desk cause front desk button was missing from the phone and no one was around Morning came and I called down there from my mobile the lady on the phone was super nice said they would make adjustments to my bill

The bedding was also white with stains all over and the baby’s feet were black from dirty carpet So I go to check out mind you I’ve been there a total of 7 hours tops the front desk girl was extremely rude asking why I wouldn’t wait for the front desk person to return at 1 am ? I said I have a small child sleeping can’t leave him long She was very rude and wasn’t understanding at all They tried to credit me $30 bucks for having ZERO cool air and a dirty room After asking for management she said no one but her could help me There was also supposed to be breakfast set up I never seen any food Very disappointing I will never recommend this place for the price got to motel 6 for 100 less and the same quality

Jennifer Sweeney

They had the best hotel free breakfast since covid They had a complete spread with super friendly staff, excellent Italian restaurant, beautiful courtyard, and a nice pool, jacuzzi and fire pits The rooms were also comfortable, nicely done and well stocked with things most don’t think of anymore, like mints on bed and shower caps

I’m glad we stayed here This isn’t the cheapest, but by far the best value for sure If we ever find ourselves in the area again, definitely spending the extra few bucks to stay there

Taylor Randall

The manager Sun has done a fantastic job of hiring and training the right people Every interaction we had, reception, maintenance, security, room service, hospitality, was near perfect Everyone was polite, professional, knowledgeable, and courteous

I cannot overstate the quality of the personnel at this hotel They do a fantastic job, and it will show in all aspects of your stay Rooms were clean and tidy Pool area looked very nice (we did not use the pool) Breakfast burritos are on pointNote: This location has a 2nd floor, but no elevators If anyone in your party has a mobility concern I urge you to call ahead and make sure you can be on the ground floor I’m certain this team will make it happen for you

Mike Osthimer

Room was spacious as advertised if you could get in After numerous attempts the door would open if you rammed it at just the right spot Tried to notify the front desk but the room phone didn’t work so I called on my cell number

Temperature was warm so we turned the air on before leaving for dinner only to return to a hot room Went to use the jacuzzi but discovered it closes at 9:00 pm 3 stars is a fair rating for the hotel

Stayed here for 2 nights Fantastic hospitality Easy access to the beaches and restaurants of Malibu

It is a great place to stay for some peace and quiet This is a perfect getaway if you can drop off the kids with Grandma for a few days 🙂 Breakfast is a FULL breakfast and the conversations are lively with guests from all overWe will definitely stay again and recommend it highly

Amanda

This is a unique place nestled in Topanga Canyon, about a 10 min drive to the nearest town, and 30 minutes to the beach Driving around here can be kind of difficult/stressful if you’re not used to mountain driving The roads are steep and curved, and not well maintained, so it’s quite bumpy

You definitely want a working parking brake because some parking spots are on a steep incline Also, the area is not well lit at nightThe hotel itself is beautiful with good views of the countryside There are some outdoor porches you can sit on and sip tea in the mornings Very peaceful and tranquil There’s a state park within walking distance with some trails, but it’s not leisurely walking We brought our trekking poles and were glad we had themThe rooms were immaculate and cozy However, the sound insulation is not great at night We could hear people talking and walking upstairs I’m a light sleeper so I found that a bit bothersome The rooms don’t have individual AC so we woke up hot, but opening the windows helped cool it downThe breakfast was very tasty and homemade We enjoyed meeting the other guests at the hotel and had some intriguing conversationAll in all, it was a good visit for some quality time as a couple

Jack LaBarba

My wife and I stayed here on the night of our wedding We did late check-in, which was convenient The room was clean and pleasant, the architecture of the buildings was attractive, and the breakfast was yummy

However, the owner, Warren, sat with us during breakfast and we had an unpleasant conversation with him Simple chatting would have been great, but he kept steering the conversation towards the perils of collectivism, the dangers of immigrants, and the merits of social darwinism I don’t demand that my innkeeper have the same ideology as I do, but my wife and I stayed here with the intention of relaxing, not to be sermonized at or provoked into a fraught political argument

This is a quality Hotel I’ve stayed here more times than I can remember and always really look forward to coming back All the staff are very friendly and willing to please

The rooms are big and the layout of the Hotel gives it a classy atmosphere It has a great bar The integrated restaurant is really nice too, food is of high quality Loads of parking Only drawback is that it’s quite expensive but you DO get what you pay for here

Janice Hill

We had an event to attend in Northridge and stayed at the Raddisson in Chatsworth Nice large clean rooms, check in was quick and friendly We dined in the Restaurant on property and it was great! We had a large party for dinner, service was excellent as well

We did not like the fact that this restaurant was closed on the weekends for breakfast even with the hotel being busy We would of definitely dined there for breakfast, especially not knowing the area

There are reasons why this place is cheaper than a lot of the other hotels in the area First of all, it’s right next to the road and even on the side further from the road, you can still very easily hear cars racing by outside at night The walls are very thin

Also the showerhead is way too short As a 6′ tall guy, the showerhead was at shoulder height, and I had to weirdly squat to wash my hairAlso the bed and the pillows are super hard Of the three pillows in the room, only one was barely usable, while the other two may as well have been full of sandIt’s still 3 stars just given the price, but if you can afford it, I’d recommend looking elsewhere

Kimber Neal

This place offers you basic and to the point simple necessities Clean, neat, pool, jacuzzi, ice, full bath with shower, plenty of towels, blow dryer, mini fridge, microwave, TV

And a great selection of eateries to choose from

Paul Waldron

Dated, small property They are really trying to make this place respectable They have a policy that all guests over 18 must present picture ID

When I made special advance request that there be no cigarette smoke smell or other strong odors in the room, they responded positively Only strong smell was Pine-SolBedding was clean Staff pleasant

This is a great little hotel located in Calabasas The service is great Although they claim to have a restaurant it is not really a separate part of the lobby it’s kind of just in the corner

They do have a wine bar and a extensive snack area where you can purchase beer wine and any snacks you might need The bed was really nice and so was the room The pool is pretty small but it also has a Jacuzzi The main thing I liked about this hotel is that it’s walking distance from the Commons Mall There are a lot of restaurants and shops in that mall and it’s a fun place to stroll around So if you find yourself in Calabasas this is a good solid place to stay

Beautiful views and lovely grounds with flowers everywhere Unfortunately, the beds are EXTREMELY hard My husband and I had a difficult time getting comfortable and woke with sore backs

Also, we had to unplug the lamp and clock to charge our phonesThe pool is cute and heated Perfect for little kids Bring a cooler because there wasn’t anyone tending bar in the pool areaThe Italian restaurant is closed on Monday so we were unable to go They have an outdoor restaurant that requires you to order food and drinks in lineI’m giving the resort 3 stars because for the price they need to make improvements regarding comfort and practicalities

Brad Parsa

Great experience overall Just to get a few nit-picky things out of the way… a hinge on top left corner of the slide door shutters was sagging and the doors wouldn’t seem to properly close as a result We were booked into a suite so the fireplace is accessible to both rooms via a set of glass doors

They were good on one side but looked crooked on the other I tried fixing this and it literally came unhinged I put it back into place as best as I could and made a point not to mess with it The spa tub is great, but one of the jets stopped working on the third day And the towel rack closest to the toilet is quite loose on one side The shower is awesome and reminds us of home as we have a similar setup with the exact same fixtures A tremendous stroke of the ego to know that we picked out a design for our home bath that smacks of high-end And finally, we had ants It’s summer, so it is to be expected that these guys want to beat the heat as well A few of them could be seen in several corners of the room shortly after check in It got a bit worse, so we were diligent about freezing food scraps and emptying our trash several times daily The patio showcases a stunning view of the waterfall courtyard And we could see the pool from our room as well, so it was a convenient way to check if it was too busy out there or not

Joseph Di Chiacchio

Staying at the Westlake Village Inn is like enjoying Tuscany The ambiance is terrific, the rooms are beautiful, the staff are so welcoming and pleasantWe drove a little over 2 miles to spend a couple days there, celebrating our 47th anniversary

It was a true “stay cay “, and was absolutely excellent

Ronald Whedon

The good: The hotel is in very good condition The rooms, except the shower, had no bugs, stains or odors The air conditioning is not a window unit

The beds seem to be an ok fluffy pillow top mattress with a deluxe comforter and goose-down-like pillows I slept well This hotel is in a nice areaThe bad: There is no swimming pool or hot tub If you’ve driven there, valet parking is offered for $19 per day You may park your own vehicle for $1875 per day if valet isn’t for you Hilton tried to charge for valet and self for all days Hilton will charge your card $50 per day at check-in for incidentals deposit my charge was removed after checkout The shower was showing its age with light rust on the lower enclosure, degraded caulking and lightly darkened for traffic area I will stay somewhere else on my next visit

Carolyn Stifflear

Starting with the staff, they immediately thanked me as an honors member Upgraded my room to a spacious and beautifully decorated suite Every team member was courteous and very tentative to making sure I was happy duringmy entire stay

This place is a gem Pretty unassuming from the outside, but one of the nicer rooms I’ve been in Seriously, I’ve stayed in significantly higher end hotels that didn’t have beds this comfortable, rooms this well-appointed, or staff this friendly

We didn’t use the pool during our stay, but it also looked nice and well maintained Not a lot of frills, but a great price for a great place to stay in the LA area

Ish R.

Room was great Clean linens and having the flat screen tv with spectrum cable was great Lots of on demand movies and shows

Bathroom was clean and looked nice Front desk staff was kind during checkout and check-in

denise gibb schlax

Victor Patel, manager of the Tarzana Inn, was professional, and helpful in every way He sets a high standard for his staff who are all top notch, including housekeeping The entire hotel was spotless and the workers all more than pleasant and helpful

The feeling there is that all enjoy their work and expect to do their best That attitude is projected by Victor and thus his subordinates We will definitely return for another pleasant stay and look forward to another memorable adventure in Tarzana!

There is nothing special about this hotel; but critical reviews do not match my experience The room and hallways were clean, comfortable beds The bathroom is small but clean and everything worked

The area represents the standard ethnic area of Los Angeles The price is very low for this part of Los Angeles Excellent access to the metro The parking fee is normal for the city One caveat: breakfast is not available and zSi can’t say any nearby options yet

Xandra Bolotin

I would not recommend this hotel They are unfriendly and petty And yes, they charge you $10 for parking without letting you know beforehand and their parking isn’t even secure

The rooms are subpar The two women working at the front desk were the worst I believe one was the manager I’ve never had this experience at any other Hilton before except for this one and I will definitely not be staying here again I did reach out to corporate and unfortunately they sent my complaint back to the manager at this hotel who called me and instead of resolving my issue, kept telling me how I was wrong and refused to help Nothing positive worth saying about this hotel I highly recommend you stay elsewhere

William Butler

First there was the parking fee that I was not aware of until I checked in My corporate website did not show they charged for parking, but other hotels in the area showed their charged parking with the fees If I had known they charged for parking

I would not have made a reservation there I woke up in the morning with bug bites I moved the bathroom trash can and found packaged medication behind it Walking down the third floor central hallway caused the floor to move underfoot and make noises Not very conductive to feeling like the floor was solid underfoot Originally reserved a 3 night stay, but I checked out after the 1 night I cannot say that I would stay there again

This is our all-time favorite hotel The cleanliness is unsurpassed The housekeeping is amazing

The pool and entire patio area is beautiful and clean The fitness center is excellent The rooms are spacious and shockingly comfortable–and I can never sleep in hotels The attention to ‘quiet hours’ is appreciated The iced fruity water in the lobby is SO GOOD! Wonderful six-night experience for my family

Shirley Rivera

Clean hotel, good customer service, spacious rooms But the pool were close during my entire 3 night stay My partner was on a business meeting and I was hoping relax while he work but I couldn’t do anything, the bar/restaurant closed from 11am to 5pm

The ice machine of the 4th floor didn’t work Nothing for lunch or drinks during afternoon hours The bar have a good entrees selection and the bartender was super friendly

Kym D.

My husband and I recently got married and stayed at this hotel with several of our guests We planned to pay for one of our guests Room & Tax so I called in advance to make sure we could do this, we were assured we could When we got to the hotel, we asked the front desk to please charge our card the room and tax for our friends room

We were told it was taken care of and our friends would simply need to come by the front desk to put down their credit card for incidentals and pick up their keys Hours later, I get a text from my friends saying that they were charged the room and tax because the credit card we put down got “deleted” We make our way back to the front desk to figure out what went wrong – the front desk agent told us her supervisor would look into it I had to be the one to ask how we would know it was taken care of, would someone be following up with us, etc, etc, there was no initiative to assure us Shortly after, we get a call from the supervisor and the supervisor asked us to come back downstairs to explain the situation At this point, it is the FOURTH time we are talking to someone to deal with a simple request The supervisor explained that our friends were indeed charged and the solution suggested to us? Just transfer money to our friends once the hold was released from our card This was all happening the day before our wedding and I still can’t fathom how a simple request became so complicated

Pros are that the rooms were freshly redone My wife and I worked here for a couple weeks and while the rooms were small, they were as described on the website Free Internet was generally fine for zoom meetings

I would have liked ovens in the room, more outlets by the desk and in the bedroom The staff and housekeeping were very helpful Breakfast daily was minimal Pool/hot tub are small but worked Gym had a couple treadmills, some free weights and benches The outdoor furniture was missing some cushions and the lounge chairs by the pool were cheap (several were broken) Location was near shopping and highway My wife and I enjoyed our stay and would recommend it for those looking for a long stay and no frills

Zan Bernhardt

No indication when I made the reservation that the hotel was undergoing remodeling The room was NOT ready for occupancy 3/4 of outlets weren’t live

The TV remote wasn’t for our TV and we couldn’t shut it off at night, so we had to cover it with a towel to avoid the glare If we unplugged it, then we needed another remote the next day The shampoo/conditioner mounted in the shower didn’t work A/C was so loud that no one could have slept through the noise Stayed 3 nightsno housekeeping inquiry whether we needed new towels, nothing They never came in Front desk people were attentive when we called to say there was no hairdryer in the room as well as having to have all the feather pillows changed out due to allergyThe location is wonderful and the room was clean

B Nicole

The stay was enjoyable They had everything we needed for a family of 5, super excited about that Choices were limited for our budget, traveling with kids, needing a fridge and microwave and separate bedroom with two beds and a playpen

So we were accommodated very well Staff were friendly and some made us feel welcomed There was one guy in particular whose name I didn’t catch but he made sure we were taken care of The only complaints I have are that the beds were super uncomfortable I woke up with neck and back pain every night, and the view wasn’t so great where we were placed Also there wasn’t a real breakfast For $800+ I expected at least a cooked breakfast not microwavebles However the jimmy dean sandwiches were tasty

Beautiful rooms, excellent sauna/ steam room facility, amazing gym, wonderful gardens Food was absolutely incredible and room service was open late Staff was catering and exceptional overall

There was a wedding on the front lawn when I was there and I was able to peek at it from my room It was one of the nicest I’ve ever seen and was fortunate to see it All around great place

Check-in was efficient, room was nice My gripe was that there was a party with lots of very drunk and loud people on my floor from 2:30 am until 4:30 am People were in the halls talking and laughing loudly for 2 hours

I called reception twice (3 am and 4 am) and they were definitely apologetic, but the noise didn’t stop We had an early flight and I mentioned at check-out at 5:30 am, but the check-out staff showed zero empathy They didn’t apologize but they did acknowledge the noise I know it’s not their fault, but I would think they should try a bit harder to ensure that guests can sleep ok Like perhaps have a no loud party policy after midnight?

So glad we choose this wonderful location We arrived before check in time and was so pleased we could get settled on to our room after flying in with a baby With 4 woman and a small infant the accommodations were perfect

The beds were comfortable and we used the living room area as a private room Being the one that slept on the sofa bed I was very pleased the the good night’s sleep The free breakfast was fabulous Hotel staff was very pleasant to seal with also If I travel to California (Los Angeles area) again I will certainly stay there again Thank you for a wonderful experience

If you’re in a pinch for an affordable place to stay if you have to be in Woodland Hills this is a decent enough optionThis “budget” hotel is located in a semi-safe area of Woodland Hills/Topanga because it’s in walking distance to a metro station and numerous homeless encampments The hotel is very cramped in my opinion and feels like it’s doing it’s best to give guests the basic minimum in terms of services

This is not my choice if you have kids as it’s literally a roadside type motel without anything attractive for familiesThe upside is this Best Western is in walking distance to a Sprouts, Ralph’s market and a lots of coffee and fast food options if you need anything during your stayBed was comfortable and the room was very cleanAC was off when I checked in and at 97 temps having to wait 2 hours for your room to cool down was a bummer

No frills and relatively good value hotel We had a personable and efficient check-in experience No added fee for parking

Doors open to the outside but there’s only one entrance driveway that goes past the front desk so it feels secure The other entrance is gated and locked Security cameras monitor the hallways and parking lot Hot breakfast buffet is an added plus Swimming pool on premise One ice machine located on the first floor in the second building Popular Thai restaurant (Anantra) located across the street

Our stay was very nice Very clean room and hotel The staff was very friendly

We enjoyed the breakfast that was included, self-serve style many options The website pictures are a little misleading of the swimming pool, as the pool is much smaller than it appears in the pictures However, the pool and area were also very clean The hot tub was very enjoyable and a pretty good size Five adults fit comfortably with room for maybe one more person The decor is nice but in need of a little updating

Remarkably pleasant and competent staff Both kind and efficient And when I inadvertently left some items in a drawer and called them two days later, they not only had the items (saving the car key AND some notes I had written!), but mailed them to me immediately

I’ve stayed here previously and will continue to stay here exclusively when visiting family I’ve stayed at the nearby Four Seasons, which is nice But the value at Hampton Inn & Suites is fantastic and my stay was just as pleasant!

Lynda Mulligan

I was pleasantly suprised It does not have the appearance when you walk in the door, but the rooms were spotless, well appointed Wonderful service, all the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and offering assistance

Even the kitchen staff was offering guest suggestions of what to see while in LA and directions He was so friendly The front desk people were exceptionally warm, friendly and efficient Very pleased

Really enjoyed this place Stayed 5 nights to tour colleges in the area and really have no complaints We stayed in room 383 and despite the hotel seeming to be bustling with people and the pool being occupied, our room was fairly quite

Due to our schedule, I do wish we could have spent time at the pool or an evening drinking near the pool patio They could do better with their weekday breakfast offerings, nevertheless the weekend chocolate waffles were a hit with the kids

Erica Mccullough

Not what we thought!!!I’m a nurse traveling for work and we loved this place when we were here initially We checked out for the weekend and came back the next week only to have our price for two days go up significantly When we questioned this, the person who said he was manager rolled his eyes, kept sighing at our questions and said that hotel rates change by the hour and even though it was on booking

com for one price when we looked, doesn’t mean it is the same when we got here to check in Most hotels would’ve honored the rate shown online, but at least he could’ve been somewhat polite about it I asked about the discount for being a nurse and he said they only do that during nurses week All we wanted was an explanation for the charges, and he acted so put out by having to explain to us why the amount WE PAID increased so much We planned on staying here for another week, but due to the rudeness of the manager, we will stay at one of the many really nice and FRIENDLY ones in the area

As a guest under my Sister and brother in law Membership and Marriot points they receive welcome benefits I was able to relax and enjoy a needed respite after a family member a sibling Memorial Services Mahalo for the helpful staff and their professional mannerisms

Aloha spirit was depicted while I was here Catherine McBroom

Came up to attend a wedding down the road in Malibu Good clean hotel, seemed full and busy Good location near the 101 Fwy and next door to a Trader Joe’s Market

Checking was easy and was great by a energetic employee who made sure everything was taken care of The room was clean and kept up nicely Had no issues with the room or amenities The hot breakfast buffets typical 2 kinds of ready made omelets, good size sausages, home fry potatoes, cereals, oat meal, fresh fruit, breads, yogurt, coffee and juices I would stay here again

Stayed for a wedding in Malibu Amazing front desk staff! Beautiful grounds, outdoor patio, and small pool area Buildings were fairly easy to navigate, but main interior areas could use a deep cleaning, as could the rooms

Our room (Building #2) was in desperate need of updating and a deep cleaning, but rooms for others in our party (Building #1) were more updated The linens could also use some updating they were quite rough Our stay was extremely quiet, which I enjoyed The location is great and the parking was good I feel like the price of our room should have been $50-75 cheaper for it to feel like good value Okay place to stay if you need access to Malibu

We were very happy with this hotel It was very clean and the room spaces were great The check in process and staff were friendly and helpful

We appreciated the free breakfast, though I think it will be better once the buffet reopens post-COVID We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, which were very comfortable and clean The room was also very quiet, especially considering we were right over the freeway

I have no idea how this hotel has Sheraton branding At best, at best it qualifies for a four points flag Very dated hotel with staff that could care less

Calling the furniture old is a compliment We stayed in the “presidential suite” but I can assure you it was only presidential in name The fixtures were damaged and dinged Wallpaper was coming off Furniture was STAINED Cleanliness through the hotel was questionable The entire property is very very dated and in need of a desperate upgrade And by upgrade I don’t mean new furniture Although that wouldn’t hurt, but the exterior paint is in horrible shape, windows, door jams, elevators need maintenance, automatic doors were not working, hallway wallpaper and paint was chipped and pealing, the list goes on If this hotel is a representation of the Sheraton brand then Sheraton is going the way of Ramada The once upon a time tier one brand that lost its image due to dated properties I probably won’t stay again
