We love old renovated hotels, especially those that have interior rooms that rival a Marriott Everything in this hotel was wonderful, including the great staff at the check-in counter as well as those in the bar

Well okay, if there’s one thing I didn’t care for, it was the overly soft beds (a bit of a backache in the morning) and the occasional mattress feathers? poking us during the night But the other hotel amenities were so good, I’m not sure this bedding issue alone would stop me from staying here again

Cute remodeled boutique hotel The ambiance was great and the hotel looked clean and nice There was only valet parking ($15) from what we saw, but it was very seamless and the folks there were helpful and nice

Checking in was also fairly quick and the employees were friendlyWe had the 40 Winks Room, which is the king sized bed room, and that was comfortable The room was the size you’d expect it to be, not too small not too big, but did have a fridge and a tv Warning that you can see right through the glass from the bed to the toilet/shower There’s a curtain, but it doesn’t do much I don’t know how the other rooms or bathrooms are situated, but this didn’t take away from our experience as the room and bathroom were clean and nice Not much outside noise either, if anyWe had dinner at the restaurant in the lobby We had the pesto pasta primavera and the elk burger and they were delicious We picked up coffee in the cafe downstairs as well and that was fineOverall, we loved our stay here If we ever need a place in Bakersfield in the future we’ll definitely try this hotel first Especially since it was just a small amount more than surrounding hotels that were nowhere as nice as this hotel

Stayed for a week and maid service was spotty Toiletries were not restocked, used towels removed but not replaced, etc and alerting the front desk did not resolve

I had to clear a wad of hair from the shower drain upon fist useRoom service was great and the food was well prepared

They are very welcoming and helpful Their facility has a pool, jacuzzi, laundry, dog park just to name a few I’m currently staying under a shaded pull thru and it’s stays pretty cool up until the end of the day when the sun comes down

There are families that stay here with small children everyone keeps it safe and kids are able to ride and play on their bikes But the facility stays pretty clean and organized Would definitely recommend this place

I’ve been staying here at Shaded Haven RV Park since Oct 2021 and have not had any issues, other than maybe noting it close to railroad tracks on the website Not always a problem, just some conductors love using their horn more than others LOL Clean park, gated community, and nice brand new solar cover over one of the rows

Ashley and the office staff have been great to work with Would definitely stay here again when long term work is needed in the area

Mike Gilbert

Stayed at Shaded Heaven RV park on a road trip from Washington to Arizona and it did not disappoint This was by far one of the nicest parks that we stayed at on our trip Not only was it convenient for our travel plans, but also the sites were very well maintained and clean, the pool was great for the kids, washers and dryers were a lifesaver, and the people were very friendly

After a few long days of traveling knowing this park was on our route with all the services/amenities we would need and, that it was very safe, was a huge relief Will definitely be planning on staying at Shaded Heaven on our next trip

Went for mother’s day It was a buffet that was mostly breakfast Food was warm not hot, the biscuits were hard, eggs were dry and the bacon seemed like it was cooked the day before and just microwaved

Couldn’t order anything off their regular menu They charged over $30 per person for not even mediocre food This was the first time I had been there and probably the last Wouldn’t even let us take food home Our waitress was good

John Haberkern

Right in the center of Crest RV mobile park is this outstanding restaurant, Crest Bar and grill I’ve heard they have outstanding food and now I can attest they sure doI came in with a friend, I ordered a hot pastrami sandwich, it had cheese, onions, pickles and mustard

You have a choice of sides, I had French fries The sandwich was excellent, probably the best pastrami I’ve ever hadMy friend ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich, he loved itThey also have a bar Food is reasonable priced Staff did a great job

The hotel was clean, it had a strong cleaner smell when you walked through the front door The staff was very kind They had breakfast from 6:30 a

m to 9:30 am, it included different things each morning but, a few items were bacon, sausage, eggs, cereal, and fruits The door we booked was a double queen room and the beds were nice The beds did not sink in and they had four different pillows on each bed to pick from If we needed more towels, they were fast within 10 minutes to bring more In the picture, we had lifted the sheets to check to see if everything was clean The sheets were not like that when we arrived, they were nice and neat I highly recommend this hotel

milskey mills

The room was good, exactly what you expect from this vendor Quite no trains, planes or vagrants Didn’t try the breakfast as the crowd was too large in the morning

They have a pull through parking lot which is rare for California so you can get in there and out of there with a trailer Would have rated it a little higher except for they need to clean the carpet and the hallways was stairways and the elevator One of the better experiences in Bakersfield that’s for sure

One of our favorite RV parks, but we’re always just passing through and stopping for a day The park is kept spotless Clean laundry facilities

Several small fenced in dog park areas, some with grass Easy no haste online booking, check in was even easier with out reservation and a map hanging on the board outside The 90 foot pull through was very easy to get set up in and plenty big for our large RV with five slides We stayed there last week and will be there again this week on our way back through Highly recommend

speycast4steelhead CA

The oranges are the best feature of this RV park! They are the sweetest and juiciest we’ve ever had any where in our entire lives! We stay here as a stopover between Sacramento and southern Cal just to pick oranges RV park itself has typical spacing between rigs with paved roads but gravel pads Can’t say anything about the amenities or the staff because we arrive late and we’re gone early

But those oranges……

For the area this is a nice park Gated, super nice staff Store for a few items

Close to decent shopping We drove a few miles to a nicer area for shopping Concrete pull-throughs Full hook-ups A lot of full timers who are nice $48, Good sam park Clean bathrooms Grassy Dog area in front not fenced in Long Dog run towards the back Dirt but a little shade Chairs for you to sit

Trey Williford

Staff was usually kind of rude, we left because we paid $610 for the spot and $1,162 for electricity alone I build power lines for a living so I called PG&E to ask about what they charge and they told me those ppl are crooks and that there is absolutely NO WAY for a camper to cost that much in electricity for one month, I wouldn’t recommend that place to anyone The new KOA is way bigger and nicer! Only charging $850 a months over here with everything included

Almost saving $1,000 a month by just moving to the KOA, that’s a shame

We would like to thank the folks at country RV park for the wonderful stay I GIVE THIS PARK 5 stars because they were very accommodating during our nightmare of a disaster We had a fire in our Class A motorhome outside Bakersfield and found ourselves scrambling to pull our life on the road back together

I dont think I would be rolling outta Bakersfield in my “new to me” 5th wheel and F250 superduty if I stayed any where else WE WANT TO PERSONALLY THANK YOU GUYS Sorry if we disturbed anyone We are happy and reminded how lucky we are Things could have been much worse Now we can head down to the great do west to find out forever home Thanks again Loved everything about this park! Nicely done

The hotel is pretty good Breakfast was great The staff was helpful and very pleasant

But It’s the sort of place where they have security for the parking lot Which is nice Just Maybe you’d prefer to stay in a place where they don’t feel that’s necessaryClose proximity to the Chevron was nice because it was easy to stock up in the morning and continue our drive And there’s a little dog park/pet area behind it If it weren’t for the weird people around, this would be a great spot

Marlene Moffitt

Good hot breakfast, and good wifi Hotel and room were clean The room was updated but the mattress and comforter could use updating

Despite other comments, I thought the location was good I didn’t feel unsafe and there were plenty of food options nearby (but given the freeway traffic, you probably shouldn’t walk there) Plenty of business travelers and a few families stopping over on road trips

Viengkeo Hubbell

Location was a little sketchy at night but during the day it was great! Check in, check out was a breeze and we got in late but our room was reserved until midnight Rooms were a little dated but clean Beds and pillows comfy and we all slept like babes

Breakfast was standard with scrambled eggs, sausage and yukon potatoes Breakfast lady was super sweet

We enjoyed our short stay here Check in was fast and the rooms were very clean and spacious The lines were lively for sleeping and when we called for extra towels and pillows they arrived in a flash

We didn’t get to use the pool or jottub area buy it looked very nice They had Starbucks on site for those who love their morning breaks and ☕️

jolene holmstrand

First, the staff was extremely friendly which is always appreciated They have fixed up parts of the property, while leaving other parts neglected The pool and hot tub are very dirty

The room still had cottage cheese on the ceiling, original furniture and bathrooms It was bizarre to have the room only half upgradedThere were also people smoking everywhere I don’t know if that was the convention that happened to be there, or if that’s typical But nobody was regulating it around the pool or anywhere else Now when my daughter smells cigarettes she says, “It smells like Bakersfield”

Kathy Regalado

The door lock on the bathroom didn’t work, as in if you closed the door you got locked in They didn’t bother to replace it during our weekend stay The pool is deceptively smaller than the picture and it was filthy

One of the other guests cleaned it out for us No one offered me help to bring my stuff upstairs until we were done, but they wanted me to bring the cart down 🙄 If this was the super 8 I probably wouldn’t complain, but for what we paid and for the Marriott name, it was sadly disappointing

White Glove Detailing, Inc.

Wanted to charge for a 2nd room that was booked by mistake The hotel clerk even said, hey they are booked 4 minutes apart after we were told we had 2 bookings We asked for them to cancel 1 room and were quickly told they couldn’t do that

Once my spouse was upset they could quickly cancel both reservations If you can cancel both reservations, you can cancel 1Once checked in they didn’t even activate the room key, my spouse went back down and had them activated, hotel clerk said keep them away from our phones Funny thing, they were in my side pocket very very far away from my phone He just didn’t do his jobWouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re coming in after a 12 plus hour drive for a funeral
