Lovely views if you are on the lake side of the building Bed was comfortable but hypoallergenic pillow was like a rock Bed linens were not what I was expecting from the price I was paying

Short cuts were taken on the paper products that shouldn’t have been Watch out if going out onto the balcony, there wasn’t a labeled step down and a nasty fall could be the result Also make sure to lock the door out onto the balcony since it’s shared with another room Guest wifi was spotty when it was working European breakfast of self serve coffee/tea, homemade granola bar, yogurt and fruit was nice Granola bars were the best thing about it Fruit was shriveled one day but nice the next They did a nice job remodeling the rooms The outdoor venue was beautiful for special events and receptions Food for the reception was tasty but came out lukewarm at best I’m not sure if that was because of the unusual table set up or a problem in the kitchen I can’t say enough good things about the staff! They went above and beyond to help ensure a pleasant stay

So nice, beautiful lake view Have stayed twice this year Lovely rooms and staff, highly recommend the EB Morgan house in particular

The food at 1833 is impeccable, the steak is perfect for dinner, ice creams and butter are house concoctions which certainly do not disappoint and the french toast is a great breakfast Lovely getaway

Phaidra Stanley

It was a lovely, lovely experience The inns are so refreshing Well worth the price

The town of Aurora is quaint, and the people are so friendly I will definitely visit again, so I may continue to live out my rich fantasy Participated in the morning hike by Matt and Mike, who also created the trail 1833 Kitchen had some of the best food I have had from a hotel restaurant The vineyards near Keuka Lake are moments away Overall, it was a great experience

We recently stayed here for 4 days There were so many good things about it The price was so reasonable and it’s only a 3 minute walk to the lake, restaurants, and shops

The room was large and immaculate, and the bed was comfy The hotel provided tasty snacks, coffee, and tea Our room was on the first floor which means it didn’t have an in-room refrigerator, but that was fine because we used the common fridge on the 2nd floor to store a few things we had bought We would definitely stay here again

Crystal Kirby

Everything went amazingly smooth! From booking to check out! The man at the office (forgot your name sorry!!) who greeted us gave us great recommendations for local spots! Very pleasant! The room was very clean! When we walked in our room we had soft music playing, towels folded like swans on bed, and of course

the spacious jacuzzi! I will most definitely be back!

Went to spend the night for our anniversary Staff was cordial, not overly welcoming I thought since we were staying there and dining there for our special occasion, they would have given us a slice of cake or something to celebrate our special event

That didn’t happen Food quality has not been superior the last few years We love the village and visit often, but for the price of things, we will probably go elsewhere

It was an excellent experience as it always is we ate in the bar The shrimp cocktail was great five colossal shrimp some of the best I’ve had I had the pecan crusted salmon for the rice and asparagus and because the meal was a little bit late because they gave it to somebody else the manager came over and count all our meals I was very nice of her and without even asking

Lovely updated hotel in main part of town, within walking distance to all women’s rights attractions and visitor’s center Our room and bath were spacious, well appointed, and had everything we needed to be comfortable An ample continental breakfast was included (yogurt, fruit, coffee, juice, mini muffins, chocolate croissants, cereal)

We also greatly appreciated the single-cup coffee maker in the room featuring Green Mountain Coffee Pods A large parking lot is located behind the hotel Staff were very pleasant and accommodating We highly recommend the Gould Hotel!

Gussie Whispell

An absolutely beautiful hotel in the center of Seneca Falls! We were on the third floor and the views were amazing The staff was kind and courteous In fact, I went down one night to ask the woman behind the desk if they had any Tylenol, and she gave me some from her personal stash

I would definitely stay here the next time I’m visiting Seneca Falls

This is our “go to Europe in an hour” special destination Food is consistently excellent Rooms are quiet and comfortable

The staff is friendly and accommodating Spa services are top notch Stay two days at a time to totally unwind Gym, steam room, and nice clean locker rooms All that and avery large outdoor hot tub with bar They’ve got it right

Anna Diaz

The venue itself was lovely, my partner and I stayed 2 nights However, for a “high end” inn we should not have had leftover hair in the claw foot tub or leftover items in the fridge from the previous guest We were also not warned about the early morning construction (banging hammers and drills) despite being given the room closest to the workers

We never asked for anything aside from extra coffee pods (which were complimentary) and those took nearly an hour to show up at our door Beautiful area but the dismissive service made us decide not to return Look elsewhere for luxury unless you’re just coming for the day

Constance Coraci

It was my sister’s birthday so we picked a special place to celebrate Mirbeau seemed like a great choice because we’ve always heard good things about it (we live in Rochester, NY so it was a little bit of a drive) Overall, the experience was very disappointing

We had lunch reservations and it took them fifteen minutes to even acknowledge us in front of the host stand Once we were seated, the server was not attentive and she kept telling us how busy she was yet more than half the restaurant was empty She did not check on us once during our food or even clear the appetizers we started with She then came back with the excuse that she was MIA and could not come back to the table because of another tables food allergies Anyways I work in the hospitality industry and I just could not believe my ears or understand the service for such a “high end place” On Top of the terrible restaurant experience we then went and got massages and our massage therapists were good but the outdoor spa was totally gross There was so many bugs, sticks and debris in the outdoor hot tub it was disgusting The women’s locker room was also extremely underwhelming: very small lockers, laundry piled high in the baskets, outdated decor The entire Mirbeau ‘resort’ looks tired and is in dire need of a major facelift We were very disappointed and will not be returning backUpstate NY needs a 5 star spa

Stayed here at this gem for a night, and absolutely LOVED it Went beyond our expectations and it was a pretty great price compared to other places in the area It’s a small motel but has lots of character! the bathrooms are great

Best of all the rooms and bathrooms are very CLEAN & the beds were super comfortable Our smoke detector had a low battery and was beeping and the manager/owner came right over and fixed it I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this place to anyone!

Kristine James

Oh my goodness, we cannot say enough about how wonderful this hotel is We booked it last minute after checking in and immediately out of a different hotel because it was so bad The owner had fresh fruit, snacks and water for us and the air conditioner was running

The room was simple but very well done and practical The room and bathroom were so clean! It may seem silly but I appreciated that the refrigerator had a separate freezer that could actually fit our ice packs! My husband and I also appreciated the good water pressure Again, maybe that’s silly but if you’ve ever had a room with low pressure then you know The coffee and pastries in the morning were a huge plus so we could grab and go The owner was amazing! So, so nice and gave us so many pointers for food etc We would 100% stay again

Marilyn Raichlin

I came to town from out of state for a funeral and was pressed to find something at the last minute that was decent and not too expensive The Nightshade Inn & Gardens fit the bill The motel room was on the smaller side, but it looked newly remodeled

There was a nice armchair for sitting in the corner, but no desk or table The room included a microwave and a small refrigerator A couple bottles of water, granola bites, and a bowl of fruit were left in the room for guests and that was a nice touch My only criticism was that the bed was super firm and not very comfortable Despite that, I’d stay in this motel if I ever make it back to the area

Wonderful accommodations Very comfortable and generous The staff was extremely helpful and welcoming

However, I’m a Hilton honors Gold member and I don’t know if any of you experienced this, however, normally we would get a free breakfast and we were given as slip for a $25 spend and then we would get Hilton honors points Not great But anyway, I took the voucher to breakfast when we checked out and the wait staff informed us that that is only for dinner We got a $275 credit in the pantry, however we spent full price for breakfast and no meal credit for one overnight stay Very disappointed! I hope they reconsider and go back to their former policy of giving a free meal or allow the spend for any meal during your stay What do you think?

Jason Stiles

Experience was horrible They say nothing on the website about not being able to pay for the room in cash But when my wife and I get there to check in

O yea u can pay cash when u check out, very confusing The manager on duty would not answer her phone when the attendant called and left several messages I can’t express how frustrated and p#@@d I am about this
