I am going to give the hotel a full 5-star review I did note that the bed frames were a bit dated, and they could use firmer pillows, along with adding complimentary snack at check in Other than those minor things, the hotel was beautiful, the staff was very pleasant

I loved the back-room view, and it was very affordable given distance from big attractions We were in town for high school singing competition and this hotel was right around the corner and close to a lot of restaurants I will definitely book again and tell others to do the same

Overall quality and cleanliness was not an issue, however, for the price of the room one would expect a continental breakfast at least, especially since the hotel clerk mentioned there is breakfast in the morning He failed to tell me that one has to pay for breakfast I did go down for breakfast and was going through empty pots looking for hot food when someone from the kitchen said, “those are empty, your food is cooked to order but you have to pay

” I said what about the fruit over here, she said,” everything in here has to be paid for, that’s Hampton Inn that does free breakfast, the Garden Inn doesn’t” I said, ”Oh, well how much is breakfast?” She said, “Some are $1295, they are different prices” I said, “Why don’t I just go to a restaurant then if I have to pay?” She said, ” Henry is a real good cook ,and he does a fantastic job” No disrespect to Henry but he looked to be about 75 years of age however he was very energetic as he quickly moved about the stove area I ended up going to the nearby Metro Diner

We had two rooms for my graduation weekend The were clean and neat for the most part The AC unit was rather loud

I noticed what look like dried blood or dirt on the sheet like it was washed but permanently stained the sheets I did enjoy the pool and jacuzzi The pool needed some cleaning and the equipment they had was too long Overall the staff was super helpful and pleasant We enjoyed the decorations they had for UCF Graduation and Mother’s Day

This Inn was very cozy and clean The entrance is kind of tucked away if you’re coming from Lake Eola next door We were greeted with smiles and the lobby smelled so clean

Coffee and infused water available right there Our room was a single queen with a balcony Room was a little small, but none the less comfortable Bed is nice and soft Bathroom was clean and the walk in shower was spacious Balcony is shared, separated by white curtains The view outside wasn’t amazing, but for just sitting outside enjoying the weather it’s nice My only complaint was that our TV wasn’t workingThere is an open balcony in the main hallway in the 2nd floor with comfy chairs Nice area to just catch some sun and relax At night they have soft lights around the areaOverall it’s a nice stay and would recommend itAlso sits above a bar!

Probably one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed in Super clean Staff was really friendly

We had the King balcony room it was very spacious and the bathroom was to die for 😍 The bathtub was HUGE! Also in a great location right next to a beautiful park and in walking distance to a ton of good food Next time I’m in Orlando I’ll definitely be staying here

I’m not sure if it was because I spent the day at Disney, or if it was because I wasn’t feeling great

but by the time I got to this room, wowprobably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in Even the next day, my son and I were blown away at how good the sheets felt and how neither of us wanted to get out of these beds Front desk was very friendly when I showed up I booked two rooms and they got my other rooms guests booked and into their rooms hours before I showed up even though I forgot to call ahead and say I wouldn’t be with them checking in Made the process easy Breakfast was standard hotel breakfastnothing to write home about, but good enough to start a road trip on Rooms decor was really nice here I don’t have anything negative to say about that The room I picked was just a standard with two queens, but was on the small side with a pretty poor excuse for a window So based on thatthe price was a little steep But not being familiar with the area probably on par with others Only thing that dropped me from 5 stars was cost and size of room for that cost There are plenty of places to eat right around the corner too

Adam Sechrest

This is a great hotel We were able to rent a suite room for the price of single rooms at other nearby hotels The room was clean and relatively modern

It had a separate living/kitchen area, and a separate bedroom with 2 queen beds The staff was friendly, the bathroom clean, the water hot The continental breakfast was great There are vending machines on each floor Overall, we were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was Would recommend

Chris Bruening

The room is fine and clean, but certain rooms share a door with another room and there is absolutely NO soundproofing between those rooms You can literally see through the large gap at the bottom (photo attached) I asked the front desk to switch rooms because I could clearly hear every word spoken by my room neighbors (they were speaking at a normal volume and weren’t even yelling), and I was told that every single room in this hotel has a door with another room

I know this can’t be true and it is confirmed by the other attached photo, so I’m unsure why I was told this Only four rooms per floor have a connecting door to another room Unfortunately, I was moved to one of the only other rooms with an adjoining door! Fortunately, I don’t think anyone is currently staying in the connecting room, so I’m hoping that holds true for the rest of my trip I currently have a towel shoved under the gaping door hole as a precaution anyway

Updated from my last review

the place is even better now that it’s an apartment complex and not a hotel anymore It’s even cleaner and the staff is still great I only have 2 issues 1 is the light in the living room area is not bright enough to illuminate the whole room so I need to by a lamp for my bed area and 2 I can’t cook bacon or pretty much anything with out the fire detector going off because it’s too close to my kitchen and there isn’t any proper ventilation to let he smoke out and leaving windows open don’t help either and leaving my door open exposes my room and my belongings Other than that I’m good here

Fatima O’riana

I have been here a month so far and it has been wonderful I moved here from up North and checked in a day after check-in and there was no late check-in fee Raquel who works at the front desk has been amazing in helping us transition

The room looks exactly as advertised It is quiet and people generally mind their business around here It’s very family oriented and my kids love to go to the front desk for candy I really don’t have anything bad to say

kat k

They were very friendly worked with me especially when I had to work doubles clean safe environment my kids could actually go outside to play it was cool Staff is awesome I got sick out of town they were very nice to my daughters gave them space didn’t harass them i was in a coma so they were out of sorts

staff was understanding and pleasant

The property was clean and well kept After a long day of delayed flights, check in was a breeze The front desk reception was very pleasant and well informed

The room was immaculate and spacious The king size bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby The bathrooms were clean and well stocked with supplies Coffee pods were available every morning by house keeping staff Housing keeping cleaned the room every morning restocked the coffee pods and sugar The breakfast offered every morning was delicious, ranging from fruits to hot sandwiches Very professional management and staff I would recommend Spring Hill Suites at Winter Park to anyone traveling thru the area Easy 5 stars Will definitely be staying there I My future travels

Jenny Adams

The hotel is very, very nice It’s clean, modern, and feels brand new My only complaint is that the food is all Jinny Dean packaged meals, still in its plastic

At Hampton Inn you get scrambled eggs and bacon and potatoes every time Marriott’s breakfast is more like snack food than a meal For the price of this hotel I was expecting much, much more from breakfast

Wendy G

The property is very clean and well-maintained The breakfast is very good quality ( all types of juice, milks and Jimmy Dean breakfast foods to ” grab and go ” and desserts as well Not a ton of fruit, but good selection overall )

The front desk was fun and good to chat wbut didn’t get a good room from him sadly Biggest gripe is the rooms honestlysuck beds are smaller than other properties No views here either ( unless you like parking lots and Expressways ) The comfort factor is a big fail here

We booked a room with the Go Port package as we were going on a cruise the next day The process was easy The hotel offers a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, it was a bit of a wait but the hotel is close to the airport

The room was very clean and nice We enjoyed the pool and hot tubThe manager DJ was a joy to interact with He was very helpful and kind, ensuring we had what we needed We didn’t realize we needed to print something for our cruise, and he was able to print this for us which was a reliefOverall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again

Sebastian Schaper

Stayed here for one night after we flew in from Europe and arrived after midnight A good airport hotel, close to the airport, but quiet to get a good nights sleep Rooms were nice and clean, only the A/C could have made less noise

We did not get to use the pool because it was pouring Breakfast was way above our expectations Lots of choices, good presentation, attentive staff that restocked everything immediately and kept the breakfast buffet looking nice all the time

Faith Stuart

Great service nothing too much trouble for the staff Room clean and spacious We had a problem with the door lock and within 30 minutes the maintenance man arranged a room change and even got a luggage trolley and helped us move

Couldn’t have asked for more assistance The pool was clean and the surrounding area and gardens were kept clean and tidy

Work trip to Orlando Ended up being situated in this here room It was a fairly well maintained space

Nice sizable bed Had a couch for lounging, and a desk with a night light Even a microwave and mini fridge The location is great too, because everything is within walking distance so far as restaurants go There is even a pool, which I did not personally attend There is food served at the bar after 5 My only complaint is the room service was lacking The cleaning ladies didn’t clean up and replace the old towels They also left the trash in the bins Not the end of the world, but it isn’t asking much to do a complete job Otherwise, I would without a seconds hesitation spend another week straight here

brianna butler

So when I first arrived I initially had a problem The hotel was COMPLETELY full the weekend I went there was bus loads of people checking in The operation manager Adrianna was sure to reach out to me and completely take care of all the issues that I had

She was a saving grace! Good hotel Love the balconies Love the lemon scented products for shampoo and lotion Just extremely pleased with how this manager handled the situation after finding out what happened over the weekend

Shannon England

These hotel rooms are pretty gross The lobby has been updated nicely, but the rooms haven’t been TOUCHED in YEARS Looks like an old motel room inside

Not clean Our room had cobwebs, a tub that leaked all the way into the other room and smelled VERY musty Marie at the front desk was very sweet and moved is immediately after a flooding shower She was incredibly gracious and helpful BUT, this hotel needs a lot of work

Deepesh Mistry

Was in Orlando for work from Toronto Great service at the hotel, desk staff were great Good choice for breakfast, walking distance to many restaurants/bars, nice area

Shuttle driver that picked me up from the airport could use some personality training, as customers standing outside waiting don’t know which location he’s coming from He stuck his head out of the door, didn’t announce which hotel, and was a little rude to a customer who was going to another hotel

Dave Jenkins

Affordable and clean, free breakfast and airport shuttle Staff is exceptionally kind and patient, even when some of the less-travel-wise customers have ridiculous questions about their room charges “Yes, the incidental fee will come off your bill at checkout

no the candy bar was not $50″ For all you demanding Disney goers, no, despite the nice pool this was never meant to be a resort hotel It’s for traveling and airport convenience!I stay here often when I have early flights and I find the best rates and good accommodations with with almost never a complication Thanks for being great!

Super nice for the “quality range” We had a suite with a kitchenette, the fridge was a bit noisy, but it had a lot of room to store and prep food The staff were all very friendly, the breakfast was good although the coffee was very bright and acidic

The kids loved the pancake machine The shuttle service from the Orlando airport was not available when we arrived, but the hotel reimbursed us for the taxi we took instead

Geraldine. Washington

Great location very clean that only clean room by request this was fine for me I set garbage outside and request new towel and bedding when needed they bring right up no problem Breakfast can improve a lot but I cinnamon roll hot with coffee and called it a day

The have turkey sausage and not a fan but I have been cooking professional 45 year so I am critical of food (Hard to please) they do have hot oatmeal and you can make hot pancakes 🥞 the were good not far from all parks All in all I would stay here again I booked through bookingcom for a great price

mary cook

Service, cleanliness, friendliness, I can’t say enough good things!! We were coming back from a cruise and had stayed in a different hotel that was closer to port before cruise It was a lot more money and couldn’t hold a candle to this place! I highly recommend The Holiday Inn Express! The young man working the front desk was exceptional, I believe his name was Jordan!

This hotel is a great value for money The location and the rooms are super greatThe staff are friendly and kind

Emma at the Front desk is just the greatest!!! She was our first point of contact upon arriving and her professionalism was highly exuded through her pleasant, calm and kind disposition She made us feel so welcome and at home The hospitality we received from her set the tone of our trip for the entire week Emma is quite the epitome of what good customer service means The ladies in the kitchen were awesome too!! Forgive me for forgetting their names Overall, I would say I had a great trip and would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a place to stay in the Orlando area

It was truly a gem to receive such great service from this establishment The room has been cleaned the surroundings were kept up to par I met the receptionist who I don’t remember her name

I also met the orderly by the name of the provided Giselle I believe who was very nice She addressed me by my name which I was surprised I did not expect them to remember my name I was asked was everything pleasant and I could not lie everything was more than I had a dip in the pool and looking out for alligators of course The hot tub was nice and hot and very soothing It accommodated everything I needed for my trip It was very close to the airport which made it even better for me to get around and get to the airport on time to meet my plane I certainly will save this as a suite I will return to in my very next venture to Florida

PJ M

Great shuttle service Less than welcoming neighborhood area and lobby If you don’t have a car you are stranded with few eating options

First room a/c did not work Second room bathroom light did not appear to work but learned that outer room switch had to be on to work bathroom light Adequate if you just need something near airport for a limited staybut we found a better similar priced hotel closer to airport with a much more welcoming area and hotel experience

Kaguria Kitsune

For an affordable option near theme parks it’s not terrible We were able to comfortably fit 5 people Breakfast is standard for general hospitality needs, could add hot chocolate mix for kids in the morning

The pool and Jacuzzi close at 9pm which, for being in Orlando when theme parks close at 9, isn’t really worth the listing of amenities if people can’t use them after long days in the parks

Tabitha Sandberg

The check in was easy and quick The staff were friendly We booked the king bed room which was pretty roomy

The room was clean and had a good AC unit The pillows were lacking in support and the bed kind of hard Other than that, still an okay place to sleep for a night or 2 The breakfast is standard hotel continental The top 2 downfalls is that you can hear through the walls and our tub didn’t drain well so it filled while showering

steph edwards

Hotel was not very nice at all It was decent, but the rooms are very old and AC units are loud and smelly You could definitely find similar hotels that are much nicer than this location

The two bed rooms were okay, but I would not recommend the King bedrooms Overall these rooms are very crusty, crunchy, and do not provide a relaxing environment I found a small spider crawling in between my bed sheets and another on the wall The pool is okay, but there did seem to be a homeless person hanging out in it The pool area itself is also very dirty, there seemed to be left over chicken wing bones just sitting there for days The couch was very dirty and had mystery hair on it The breakfast area was nice The TV’s were nice and big Overall, the hotel was decent enough and could be a lot worse, but if your’re looking for a nicer vacation stay, I would not recommend

QUEENofCOIN “QueenOfCOIN”

If I were the owner of the Hilton brand, I would yank my name off this building I stayed 2 nights at 269/per night When I arrived, the valet situation was a cluster

It appeared to be a one-way drive PACKED with parked cars, I didn’t know what to do I had a lot of bags to unload and there was no luggage cart The valet explained that they were all taken and suggested that I stop the elevator on every floor to look for a cart that someone had ditched I made two trips to fourteenth floor to get everything inChecking in, I was the only guest at the front desk, and the tall man would not even acknowledge me He seemed super stressed out The lady offered to help me instead Turns out the tall guy is the manager Now this is all making senseOnce I got in the room, I realized the toilet was clogged, and the bed-side light was flickering like an insane asylum I called the front desk to ask for a room with a working toilet and lights, but they did nothing about it The young man who works late acted like he was so aggravated that I called the front desk to ask for a wake up call He was also rude when I asked if it was too late to get food from restaurantI called down to the valet at 615am to pull up my car and when I got down there, they had ignored my request, which me late for a work event I was away for 17 hours, and since I didn’t have time to hassle with room request, I decided to ignore the issues My room was untouched, nobody serviced it, cleaned it, no coffee Which forced me to buy a $5 black coffee downstairs at Starbucks because there was no other optionThe manager at the front desk should have been my first indication that this place is a circus Between the sloppy valet, unkempt rooms, and RUDE men working the front desk, This place needs new management

Kenny Tudor

The room weren’t great The air conditioner ran constantly you couldn’t adjust the temperature so we had to turn it off so we didn’t freeze to death The room had a musty smell to it

There is a place to eat in the lobby but I wouldn’t call it a restaurant it was overpriced The location was convenient they don’t tell you on the booking sites you have to pay additional for parking

Sophia Vedell

This was one of the worse hotels I’ve ever stayed in in my whole entire life Parking was horrible one way in pretty much one way out Got in my room filthy had a washcloth that someone had used had lipstick or blood I don’t know which one went and talked to the housekeeper she said she didn’t speak English so she really couldn’t help me

Really foul smell carpet was dirty really need to be renovated Horrible experience never again!! Valet worker smell completely like he just came out of the room and was smoking weed !!

Pros: The people/staff were very kind and helpful, and the hotel was very clean and only 5 min drive from the airport Shuttle from the airport to the hotel at 10pm was efficient and the driver was very friendly!Cons: We were just looking for a convenient spot to spend the night for an overnight layover, and had called to confirm that the shuttle ran all night When we arrived, we were told the shuttle did not run all night, and 4am-6am shuttles were booked/not available

We were on the 4th floor which smelled very bad in the hallway – hopefully a temporary thing – but the room was honestly very nice and very clean However, for $180 with taxes and fees would not recommend for a quick stay

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a stay This web site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the best in this area

I’ve been staying here for years If you choose this place you will love it I’m sure! This hotel is super close to the Orlando International Airport, but I didn’t hear any airplanes flying overhead which is very much appreciated Rooms are nicely decorated and beds are comfortable Also has microwave, coffee maker and small fridge It comes with free breakfast with many breakfast doors to choose from, including the option to make your own delicious waffles I highly recommend this hotel!

We checked in last night around 9p and the front desk guy was amazing We have had a rough time with our travels and accommodations recently so having him try his best to explain and help my family out meant everything to me I only wish I caught his name

Thank you, your patience and kindness will not be forgotten Please be mindful the free shuttle runs from 430a to 1a so if you have an early flight you will need other transportation

This is where we stay whenever we are visiting UCF The hotel is close to campus as well as a lot of restaurants Everyone on staff is very helpful

We needed to extend our stay, and Gabe assisted us in doing so We had a very noisy person next door, and the front desk staff was able to help even at 3AM The complimentary hot breakfast is nice and we enjoyed having coffee, tea, and water available by the front desk all day long They’ve also added a hot food vending machine which was helpful to satisfy a chocolate craving at 1AM We were able to relax by the pool and we loved having 24 hour access to a fitness room Always an enjoyable stay!

Great location near UCF and Orlando area attractions Nice and quiet Appears recently updated and remodeled tastefully

Spacious well appointed rooms Full hot breakfast included eggs, sausage and waffle maker, along with cold items like yogurt, toast and fruits there’s an area by the pool with picnic tables My only complaint would be that the pool was poorly maintained – it was so green I wouldn’t even put my foot in! Also had leaves and debris on the bottom We ate outside and I noticed several people came out to use the pool and left without going in

Its a two star hotel for many reasons One of them being the door handle that would come off whenever we tried to use it or the same door that constantly was getting stuck It has nice renovations that despite the efforts don’t hide the aging of the building

It is a good enough hotel and you can’t beat the price We totally enjoyed our stay but if you want something nice maybe look at other options The pictures on the website are misleading and definitely use that real estate photography magic The hotel was good enough but if you want great look somewhere else

To begin, this is a lovely, functional hotel for either a short or long-term stay It’s truly a hidden gem at a reasonable price point I love the functional wall in the Home2 Suites

The kitchen is fully equipped, including 3/4 fridge with large freezer, dishwasher, garbage disposal and microwave, as well as plates, bowls, glasses and cutlery At this Home2 Suites, the rooms seem to maximize storage in unexpected, creative ways In the queen suite there are 2 desk surfaces, a rolling dining table, nesting side tables and nearly endless storageWhat makes this hotel truly special, in my experience, is the staff The young lady working the front last night went out of her way for us twice, quickly and with a smile I wish I had gotten her name! This morning, at 3:40am, my mom was getting ready to grab her early flight, and I asked the young lady working if there was a way to get something for her to eat Again, I was facing someone who was attentive, friendly, thoughtful and happy She ran around the back grabbing fruit and water I figure anybody in the service industry who is able to maintain that kind of attitude at 3:40 in the morning is destined for sainthood Her name was Genesis Both women embodied a level of customer service that should be the goal of every person in customer service, and you cannot maintain that without having a good employer Truly, it makes this hotel special

This hotel is AMAZING!!! Me & my Husband went to stay here on our honeymoon because we just recently married This hotel welcomed us with opened arms They even gave us a small gift as well

They greeted us every morning & breakfast was fantastic!!! The hotel was always cleaned when we came in from adventuring They are also were very helpful when we didn’t know how to work the shades in the room We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Orlando If you want a nice breakfast, clean rooms, and a welcoming staff I would definitely recommend this place! Thanks you guys for a wonderful stay, until next time

I’ve never slept so good! I couldn’t wake up in the morning

I don’t know if it was the comforters or the mattress, but I got a well needed rest

Room was absolutely disgusting, I woke up and found bite marks on my skin and found out my first room had bed bugs in it and then I get to move to another to room then that room the toilet wouldn’t go down for putting almost nothing in that cheap toilet and they couldn’t do anything about it so I had to move into another room for my last night! The showers in each of the rooms were very disgusting, I don’t even have words to describe how bad the all the showers looked This place was under renovation and I think should’ve finished renovating first before putting people in rooms The only good part about this stay is the staff there are very nice to everyone

I should not have to worry about all of this just for a five night stay, this was absolutely ridiculous, the only good part about this stay was the staff were very nice, but other than that, I will probably NEVER stay in a best western hotel because of this and definitely do not recommend staying at this hotel!

We changed rooms in this hotel three times! The first room had trash by the bed from a previous customer, the air conditioner and lights were broken The second room had fleas, which caused us get bit by fleas The third room had not been cleaned and the bedding was clearly used! And now the fourth room has no cold water

Instead of solving our problems, the front desk staff kept saying that the manager could only be contacted on Monday He said that he could not contact the manager by message or phone to help us solve our problems! On top of that, their elevator is broken When we got into the elevator, the elevator seemed to be jumping, very scary! There were many problems, but the front desk staff is still very bad attitude, he said that he wanted to help other guests check out, no time to solve our problems I do not think checking out other people is any more urgent than our problem!

Pretty Precious

While the rooms were updated, the cleanliness was very subpar The bathroom floor needed much attention It looked as if it hadn’t been mopped in a week or two

The tub and shower definitely could’ve benefited from extra attention as wellI didn’t partake in the grab And go breakfast The hotel is under renovation so the option for a hot breakfast is understandably unavailableOnce renovations are complete, this location will be one I reconsider for future use But the cleaning staff most definitely need to step it up

The airline placed my family here when they overbooked the flight Staff and service was excellent The facility was recently updated, but the building still shows aging

We had trouble with the elevators and the room keys not working reliably, and the air conditioner was very rattly There’s a very large outdoor pool The hot tub wasn’t operational Breakfast (paid, but free with IHG status) was great, with an excellent omelette bar

Emily Ohmart

Not a great stay at the Holiday Inn this time The hot tub was out of order, our room key stopped working almost every time we left and came back — we had to get it reset twice (and the trip isn’t over yet) We also overheard a family enter their room for the first time to find someone else in the room! They charge for parking, and the $11

99 breakfast buffet looked like any other hot breakfast that would normally be includedThe rooms were clean and staff was friendly, but would not recommend staying here at the time of this review

Follow up at this location is a tough pill to swallow I would have expected this at a value brand motel and not bothered following up As a Spire Elite member, I would have expected a little more

I checked out at 11AM on 2/19 At 12:10PM I made my first attempt to contact the hotel regarding an item forgotten in the room At 4:50PM, my second attempt was made then again at 7:19PM Didn’t get the name of the 12:10 PM person, spoke with Tina Marie for the last two calls on the 19th and was assured from Tina Marie someone would contact me on 2/20 between 9-5 to follow up2/20 5:25 PM called again, spoke to Liz (Supervisor), explained about forgotten item again as this was new to her, assured again a follow up call would be made within 30 minutes Called back at 6:18PM, 7:14PM and finally 8:51PM, no answer on all 3 attempts2/21 1:34PM Spoke with Dakota at the front desk, explained the problem again, she actually took the time to go to Housekeeping to look for the item and unfortunately was unable to locate itI get it, I left the item behind, completely my fault I’m sure I’m not the first person to have left something behindBiggest problem right now is parts availability of electronic manufacturing is currently making it difficult to find a replacementRecovery at the hotel would have been much easier within 2 hours versus waiting 2 days for someone to actually look, making multiple calls (some unanswered), multiple explanations, and of course the final frustration, no one able to locate it versus actually been looked for when originally reportedLost & Found protocols should be in place and enforced, things happen Why the disconnect? Above all, if the desk agents or supervisors say they will call back, actually call back instead of attempting to pacify a paying customer
