Great hotel The staff is incredibly friendly! I had made an error on my reservations I called, and the young man on duty on the afternoon of Friday 2/18/22 called other guests checking in to reassign rooms so we would not have to change rooms during our stay! Wow – that was so appreciated! Rooms are immaculate and the indoor saltwater pool is great! Nice free hot breakfast & pet friendly

Hotel close to the wineries and distilleries We had a blast in Dripping Springs and this hotel is the place to stay! Kudos to all the employees who make their guests’ stays so enjoyable

Excellent customer care!We stayed one night for a wedding that started at 3pm We arrived slightly early and had requested to move to a different room for road noise, still before the check-in time, and were accommodated When we returned from the wedding to find a plastic baggie containing my toothbrush and toothpaste that I had forgotten in the first room! Housekeeping staff went above and beyond to rescue that for me when it could have very easily been cleaned out and written off, and we are extremely grateful for that

Beyond that, the breakfast was fantastic with a great variety of choices, and no acid reflux for me!

Eric Enlow

We had a room block with the Sleep Inn & Suites for our wedding at Camp Lucy this past April and it was such a solid decision! Kirtan was so nice to work with He made it so easy for us to book and answered questions about transportation and welcome bags so quickly! I felt like they went out of their way to accommodate our requests He even checked out our wedding website so that our description was clear for our out of town guests! I really appreciated everything they did

Room blocks can be stressful and they took all the stress away from us Our guests had such a positive experience and were so pleased to be close to our venue and have a shuttle to access our event!

We were put here by another hotel that had overbooked us We loved it! The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and got us all checked in The rooms were huge

We had 2 full beds and pull out sofas in our rooms and 2 televisions Would recommend this hotel! Also the continental breakfast was lovely with eggs and meats and cereals and toast

Anna Quang

The employees were super friendly! The young guy that worked at night and then I believe her name is Paula that worked in the morning They were awesome and so nice it really makes a difference :’)The room was okay for the most part I feel like the TV is a little awkwardly placed? Bc it’s in the middle of the wall but not right in front of the bed The shower pressure was awful though

barely any water coming out The walk in shower was nice Very comfortable bed it felt like I was sleeping on a cloud The breakfast was good, they had sausage and scrambled eggs and some other stuff Wasn’t much but it was good enough Late check out is $25 for each hour after 11 am

J. Spidle Sr

We booked in the area for 4 nights Our first motel was so horrible was immediately began checking for a better one the next morning This one was slightly more money but newer, nicer, and very clean

Rooms are HUGE and all the staff were super friendly We don’t book through a third party nor do we leave items in the room when we check out so it would have been impossible to have the issues a couple reviewer’s posted Since we physically checked several south Austin motels I feel confident this is by far the best in the area

Reasonable rates, great pet rate, decent sized room, and close to the city and other attractions However, as a previous reviewer posted out, this is not a safe location to stay My car was broken into around 4pm, in broad daylight, and a couple thousand dollars worth of construction tools were stolen

The staff on duty was very non-chalant about the fact that there are no cameras and there is nothing they can do about it So on top of replacement costs I am also missing work due to the fact that I have no tools to perform said work

Timothy Kline

The rooms were covered in hair, dirty and some of the shower was not put together There was no help, assistance or even the correct ability to move heavier luggage to the rooms as there was no bell hop assistance or even the rectangle dolly that every motel/hotel has to help assist or you can use yourself So all of our equipment was manually moved by the producers and directors of the film

We were charged for the dirty rooms that stated they were almost 400 square feet when actuallity they were more about 200 The allergens are awrful and I broke out in hives and welts all over even after stating that I cannot be around feather or scented fabric conditioer Also, we had a tax exemption that was not applied which is federally and state regulated through the IRS, and was not honored or even considered They charged us for our stay there and we left as soon as we could gather our stuffMy allergy and other medications were stolen from the roomsI ended up in the urgent care, and had to have them ship the medication from my doctors office as its a rare compound And my health has not been the same since We paid good money and still nothing has been refunded even the security deposit which was supposed to be returned Worse expereince at a hotel i have ever had

Brandi Alexander

We came with a group LARGE group of baseball players Our truck got broken into, when I asked the hotel about cameras They do not have them in the back parking lot

They do have a security guy but let him off on a Friday night with a full hotel!! When we filed a report with the hotel they said it happens ALL the time! HORRIBLE! They did not offer any help us find a place to help!! If you do stay here good luck with the front desk and you personal things! Luckily just the cooler out of the back was taken!

Absolutely incredible hotel!! The rooms are perfect and clean The employees were all so kind and professional No joke, every employee we saw was cleaning, even picking up little bits of stuff off the ground when they walked by, they were also so friendly when talking to them

If your worried about a place being clean, then you want to come to this hotel, we saw the cleaning people and they were so beyond detailed cleaning the rooms we passed by, it made us feel like our room it probably that clean too! Overall, highly recommend staying here

Rene Kocurek

Nice hotel but the room was a little cramped There was only 1 bar of soap in the bathroom so had to use the one from the sink for the shower as well The curtain was stuck open so my husband had to climb up and fix it

We borrowed a pack and play for my infant and it was pretty dirty I had to completely clean and sanitize itBreakfast was just okay The workers could have done a better job of monitoring as another guest abandoned a waffle on the waffle maker and it stayed on there burning to a crisp for a while before I just disposed of it myself Also, the diced strawberries were empty the entire 30 or so minutes we were there

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your hotel This web site will compare countless booking web sites and normally will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the most well known in the area

I have been staying here for a very long time If you choose this place you for sure won’t regret itI wish I had got his name but he was the bartender A Spanish decent guy he did a great job with making sure our food was prepared correctly and the drinks were excellent With great personality

Leigh Bedford

I really like this hotel The room was clean and quiet The staff were super nice

There was a restaurant on premises The food was good but a little pricey I usually just got my meals at nearby fast food places, it was cheaper There is a little convenience store in the lobby and that was good I could grab a hot breakfast taco and a soft drink before starting my day Parking was free and plentiful The hotel is very near I-35, so it’s convenient to almost everything in Austin but it’s far enough south that you can avoid awful Austin traffic

Rob and Meg Hocking Talley

Liz, Jeovanni, and Noah made our stay really awesome! Room is nice and felt cozy The balcony on the sixth floor was great It is small but does the job

Yes, there is noise from the highway but we kinda enjoyed that The location feels safe and is well lit Pool looks awesome and inviting They do seem very short staffed, but they’re doing the best they can and doing it pretty well all things considered

Front desk and cleaning people all nice and friendly Great free breakfast Nice workout room

Heated pool Very reasonable ratesThey even refunded my fist night when I found out that evening I wouldn’t make it in until the next day due to a flight issue and kept my discounted reservation intact for the next 2 nightsStrategic location Had a great stay and highly recommend for anybody coming to Austin to scope out investing or relocating there

Scott

A so-so hotel experience There’s a strange smell in the elevators and hallways that makes it’s way into the rooms Thin walls, so you’re able to hear your neighbors’ conversations

The beds were adequate, but the pillows could’ve been better The room did seem clean though, which is the top priority, so this accounts for the three stars

Rick Chesser

We just got to the hotel after being out in over 100 degree weather for the day The air is not really cooling the room I went to take a shower and there is NO COLD WATER

I cannot take a shower in scalding hot water So now I get to stay sweaty and dirty in a hot room We called the front desk and they said there is nothing they can do They didn’t seem the least bit concerned I know things happen, but this a relatively new hotel and this is ridiculous I would not recommend

Rooms were clean and comfortable That’s where the good ends I am a frequently traveler and only stay at Hilton Family properties where the service is always exceptional

My flight was delayed and I didn’t get to the hotel until 1 AM We couldn’t find anyone to check us in I had an electronic key that didn’t work Finally the young man showed up and I’m pretty sure he had just woken up Breakfast did not include anything hot You’re choices were cold cereal or pastries I asked the staff if they were going to prepare anything hot (it was 9 AM) and she said “not today” and turned around and walked away I cannot have gluten so no breakfast Not even coffee because they were out of cups and no we couldn’t find the woman again to get any This hotel will never see us again We’re a large group who travels to this area often and usual have at least 3 rooms a night Definitely won’t be here

Myself and three sons stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, the kids loved the mini fridge and the microwave The room was pretty clean and in order when we arrived There was a dog on our floor that barked a lot and exiting onto 290 was a nightmare, but the front desk attendant Jada was absolutely amazing

She was so friendly with my boys and when the light in the lamp went out in the middle of the night while I was studying she went to look for one then came in the middle of the night to change it for me She was just great and I really appreciated her Breakfast was great for me but the kids would appreciate more kid friendly food options Jada was awesome and mostly because of her we will be coming back in December for another wedding and have already booked rooms for my husband, myself, and our boys and baby niece

Lo

We stayed one night from Friday into Saturday and our room was very clean and modern We stayed on the second floor out of three and could hear footsteps above occasionally , but it wasn’t terrible Couldn’t hear traffic at all

The bed was a little firm, but not horribly so But the bedding! Honestly we couldn’t stop talking about how the pillows and duvet/were so soft and comfortable! Please share the secretwhere can we buy them?? As far as location, this was close to where we needed to be Our stay did come w/ free hot breakfast, but we chose to go to a restaurant, so I can’t comment on that, but it did smell good! Overall A+! We will definitely be back to this hotel in the future!

Whole experience was great! The staff was extremely accommodating and made it their mission to take care of us They blessed us with an extended checkout time with allowed us to spend another 3-4 hours with family We had an issue with our bill, but Juan took immediate action and exceeded our expectations

Hotel breakfast and pool made it an immensely enjoyable experience Thanks Marriott!!

We took a chance based on reviews and were not disappointed I am super picky, but everything looked so clean in our room We liked having the beds in a separate space from the kitchen/living room area

I also liked having the vanity space outside the bathroomThe front desk staff were more than happy to accommadate our request to make our stay more comfortable The food was good and a great way to start our day They had plenty of options to choose fromThe beds were super comfy If you’re unfortunate enough to have inconsiderate people above you, you will hear running/jumping loud and clear My husband brought a box fan and it helped drown it out a bitOverall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again

All was going good until the incident I went to the front desk because me key stopped working and no one was there I spotted the front desk attendant outside trying to repair a switch and tried getting their attention without any luck

While waiting two other hotel guests came down for service but again the attendant was outside I waited 15 – 20 minutes in total and also called the hotel just in case someone would answer or hoping all calls were forwarded to the attendant but again no luck I could not just go outside poolside to get the front desk attendant because my hotel key would not work After some time I spotted the attendant socializing and getting a plate of food so at that point I knew there was no intention on coming back to the front desk for work I could not open the door so I knocked on the window a few times but because is a very heavy hurricane glass no one heard me so I knocked harder and harder until I got the attention of the guests just outside and they looked at me as if I was crazy I motioned and pointed to the attendant but they just stared I finally got everyone’s attention and motioned to get the attendant and this time it finally worked after being embarrassed by about 50 other guests staring at me as if I was a mad man The attendant looked at me as if I was a bit of a bother interrupting the social gathering The attendant came in with no apologies, asked me one question and just activated my key and gave it to me and I asked “so aren’t you going to say anything”, looking and expecting for an apology but there was utter silence and they smiled This behavior is unacceptable I already talked to the manager who gave me a callback and they were “lukewarm” Other than that, a great hotel 5 stars – 3 stars = 2 stars

Very pleased with our stay here This place is the hidden gem of high quality hotels here in Austin My girlfriend’s and my room with the single king bed was excellent

Everything was great, bed was wicked comfy and the large flat screen was 👌 We easily were able to hook our FireStick up to theTV for some movie streaming in the evening The manager Angel couldn’t have been a nicer guy Definitely knows how to run a good operation here All of thy staff were also very friendly and kind 👍👍

Pops McPop

Booked a 3 night stay through Bookingcom and 2 days after arriving back home we were charged an extra $168 more than agreed upon amountOf course the girl at the front desk who seemed bothered that I needed to checkout, did not provide any documentation

Just a ” You’re good”Several messages to Ramada went up answered Would not recommend as we still have no explanation of overcharge and are still in process of disputing it 6 weeks later

Christina Thomas

The bathroom tub could be cleaner Accesiblity is a problem for those with mobility issues The handicap parking is NOT in front of the hotel, it is by the restaurant which is beside/adjacent to the hotel

It is not close to the hotel It is also not marked with the handicap poles so you may not find it Parking is not accessible The two front hotel doors are not automatic so may present an issue for some The rest of the room was okay

Great hotel This was a personal trip, which I don’t do often at all I travel regularly for work and have come to expect great service and a super clean room

I got that and beyond here They even had a deodorant stick for me when I realized I forgot one The gentleman at the desk didn’t have any on him, but went far out of his way to call around to find some Great folks – I expect to be back and will absolutely stay here!!

At first the morning was pretty tough A lot of miscommunication when booking the room online That I won’t get into

However, Jessica at front desk was so very helpful!! She helped us check in early and when we had an issue she immediately got it fixed Jessica is clearly a very hard worker and does what she can to help the customers If we hadn’t met such a good lady I wouldn’t have enjoyed my stay So thank you Jessica for helping us out and for your great work! These stars are for you 💗

The first room we were put in wasn’t cleaned, and one of the beds was broken They said they didn’t have maintenance at the time The second room the toilet clogged and I told the front desk in the morning when we left for the day

We came back that evening to the toilet still clogged I went back to the desk and was told, on a Saturday, they didn’t have maintenance but they had a plunger I could use So I had to unclog the toilet myself Out of all the hotels we have stayed at across the country this was by far the worst They were unapologetic and seemed to not care I asked about the corporate email and was told they didn’t have one

IN RESPONSE TO HOTELS REPLY: that is the same canned response you give to every bad review and does nothing to remedy the situation Do you even read reviews or just comment the exact same thing to anything bad?First room had left over food still in the fridge and some thing like small liquid/oil drops on the nightstand If they didn’t wipe down the night stand, or open the fridge to see old food, who should I trust sheets were changed and not just straightened? Was moved to “the only other room they had” and there was a dead cockroach outside in the hallway

A/C was passable but not great for Texas and the room was not cleaned once during a 4 days stayI called the front desk multiple times during my stay about issues and always got a busy signal/no answer I was there on a work trip and it was the only close option, slammed schedule and did not have time to go wait to talk to the front desk I called off and on for over an hour the last night to request a wake up call, never had anyone pick up Very poor experience from someone who has stayed at IGH/Holiday Inns her whole lifeIN RESPONSE TO HOTELS REPLY: that is the same canned response to give to every bad review and does nothing to remedy the situation

We were stuck in a predicament while traveling to our new home state and it was extremely distressing to say the least Long story short, we needed a hotel quickly and when I called Candlewood Suites in Buda, Rossie quickly took care of our needs over the phone Not only was she professional, she was sympathetic and really helped to alleviate the stress I was under

When we arrived, we found the room extremely clean and spacious The water pressure is great and you can do laundry at their facilities, which is a God-send when you’re traveling with a toddler and petsThank you so much to Rossie for helping my family feel at home She is a true testament to the fact that one nice person can really change your entire day/outlook

Overall nice experience Rooms were spacious and clean The only reason I did not give five stars is because the breakfast closed at 9 AM on the weekend

Seems pretty early for people vacationing Also the bacon was swimming in grease literally, like a pool of grease There was only one kind of creamer for the coffee and not much in the way of bread to choose from Muffins or toast No biscuits No sausage Milk kept running out Aside from that, pretty nice hotel

Immediately upon arrival, my guy was niceThe lobby was steeped in the aroma of a recently-released Glade fragrance which followed us up to our pleasantly-appointed room with a sprawling view of the surrounding landscapeOur group enjoyed the waist-deep carpeting, and the fold-out couch envelopped the sleeper in a creaky coccoon of intermittent sleep

Coffee truly was the best reward, and complemented the complimentary (and exemplary) Japanese-style breakfastFive stars, would Kyle again

The stay was very excellent The staff were incredibly nice and check in/out was very simple and fast The hotel looks modern and you feel safe there

It has a nice smell when you walk in The room itself was good The shower had strong water pressure and the AC worked wonderfully The only thing was the beds were a little stiff and the maid never came to clean up our room during our entire stay Other than that, I’d definitely stay here again

This is an older hotel that has been updated The elevators are oddly placed at the end of a long hallway far from the reception deskThe rooms are okay

They come with a window air conditioner which doesn’t make too much noise The rooms have microwave oven, refrigerator, and coffee machineThe layout was very spaciousThe downside was that there was a strong cigarette odor in my room even though it was non smokingStaff was excellent We had a late night noise complaint about the next room and they dealt with itBreakfast was minimal Breakfast bars, muffins, juice, and coffee No hot itemsPlenty of parking, and close to the airport

Hotel was lobby was nice, clean, and looked updatedEverything else beyond the lobby was fithly, old, and not maintainedOur air conditioner in room didn’t work 90% of the time

The toilet has very little flushing powerThe pillows were the saddest excuse, they were so unbelievably uncomfortable it was insaneStaff was always friendly and helpful when neededThe hotel would be nice if it was well maintained and had some up to date amenitiesWe will not be staying here again

Just renovated, this hotel is reasonably priced especially for the location! Easy access to the I-35 on-ramp, and downtown/6th street, so convenient! Alyssa was super sweet and accommodating; the service and staff here are excellent The room was fresh and clean, and I HAVE to know where they found these pillows! I will stay here again for sure!

I can tolerate the constant construction noise I can tolerate the shady people in, out and around the hotel I can tolerate the late night front desk attendant smoking weed outside the front door

But seeing as me spending so much money choosing to stay at Marriotts means nothing to the management here and they refused to give me my Marriott points due to a problem with their new system, they’ve earned themselves this review You could’ve fixed it and chose not to Enjoy your one star

Room was okay; the room is a bit rundown and outdated but okay; bed was comfortable and noise level in the ‘suite’ room was good; in the additional bedroom off the suite, noise was very bad with doors slamming all night long and lots of noise from the elevator and hallway Very disappointed in the service; when checking in, was asked what day(s) we wanted rooms serviced; wasn’t sure so said I’d get back; later told if less than five days, they don’t service rooms

COVID strikes again I asked for a refresh, just towels and empty trash I was told I could get towels at front desk and empty my own trash at about $500 a night for four nights, that seems extreme to me I won’t stay there again No complaints against staff, just the policy of the hotel Free breakfast was just okay at best and limited to scrambled eggs, sausage patties and country potatoes in serve yourself warming trays; there were some bread choices available and make your own waffles as well as cereal, milk and juices Room service as in cleaning was not available if staying less than five days; I find that unacceptable! I’m still paying full price for the room and expect full service I’m okay with not vacuuming or changing sheets but I wanted the room refreshed with new towels every other day or so and especially trash emptied but, nope, had to empty my own trash and go to front desk to get new towels as needed I know, first world complains but I didn’t see a discount on the room for these lack of services Would I stay there again? No not worth the ~$500 a night for the suite

First here Clean enabling staff, breakfast they provide needs upgrading, and the complimentary coffee they offer throughout the day gets cold in short order One big disappointment there is no housekeeping unless you stay five days or more, so we are staying three days and obviously there’s foot traffic into and out of the room, plus use of the bathtub and toilet, so that’s my big issue

No matter the issue with the hotel, in todays time we cannot be to clean Just thought everyone should know the facts Rates are good, But! Plus they’re in the middle of an industrial area, so no stores or food places to go and have breakfast and other meals So the following morning appealed my case to the front desk and when I came back from visiting Austin Cameron I spoke with earlier had cleaned our room Huge shout out to Cameron doing this on his time as there where in sufficient staff to clean my room Now that’s going the extra mile🙌🙌🙌 A small follow up as we’re leaving our room two if the front desk staff come up to our room to make we’re leaving the room and hotel after we politely asked for a brief stay over Have never experienced that in 50 years?

Danyal Isran

The rooms are rundown and the staff are rude I asked a question to frond desk and the person had their AirPods on and was listening to something else Terrible customer service

To add insult to injury, there was no water from 12PM-2PM because on renovations Why didn’t you mention this while we made the booking? It’s so inconvenient for us because I have an event to go & now there will be no waterThe only good experience was the chef for making the breakfast The lady is kind personI will not be booking future stays at this hotel
