Highly recommend! Great staff checking in and taking care of us later! Jaida at the front desk was so personable and kind! You can tell people here take pride in their jobs! The breakfast was great The rooms were very clean and updated We had our dog with

The pet fee is higher than other places, but they obviously take care to make sure you can’t tell it’s pet friendly Thanks for a great stay on our way through!

A Diamond in the rough! 5 night stay, and we are 3 nights in today Very SLIGHT cosmetic issue with assigned room at Check in, but Montavios (front desk attendant) got it resolved in a HUGE and very accommodating way! Hotel is clean and has a “well maintained” feel! Breakfast is a HIT everyday and Geri is just the best! All the staff here is very warm, and attentive acknowledging each guest entering and exiting Not to mention this is a GREAT location with quick to lots

At a time when COVID seems to have given companies a pass to push GOOD customer service out of the window, this stay has been a breath of fresh air! Keep up the good work Hampton Inn!!

Where do I start? The bathroom in the room was absolutely disgusting It appeared to not have been cleaned after the last guest There was hair and urine behind the toilet seat on the back of the toilet

Which also makes you wonder about the cleanliness of the rest of the building and rooms However, that was not the only issue The staff was beyond rude and unprofessional upon speaking to them This facility needs a reality check on every level What once was a nice place definitely needs some work before considering returning

Inexpensive rooms are good, but the room we had was in disrepair The problems were so much that the front desk could in no way fix them, and after being offered a room so bad my family and I just checked outAs we were checking out and making sure we didn’t leave anything we found old pieces of food under the bed skirt

The pocket door to the bathroom could not be closed all the way, it left an inch gap, that you had to walk past to get into the shower The door needed to be painted there was obvious scraping all over the door with it going in and out of it’s recess in the wallThere was a bad smell in the room of smoke and just an old odor It seemed to be coming from the carpetThe walls were ridiculously dirtyNot sure why but there wasn’t a phone in the roomWe checked in at about 1 am after travelling 10 hours on the road, when we asked for more towels in the morning, we were told they didn’t have anymoreWhen I put the extra latch on the door, it practically came off in my hand, because the screws were barely in the wallWe booked for 3 nights, but only stayed one, the room and overall accommodations were so bad we left at the risk of not getting a full refundI will say the lady who assisted us was very nice, she took my complaint and tried to assist me as best she could

The staff were all very friendly and helpful Justin at the front desk was helpful and very friendly Anna at the front desk shared information about the area we appreciated the information very much and the maintenance staff had that pool in PERFECT ORDER!!! The water temperature was very inviting and the chemicals were perfectly balanced and we enjoyed it very much I recommend staying with this hotel anytime you need a good place to stay in Flint Michigan

Place looked very nice from the outside Front desk was friendly enough, and the interior of the hotel seemed fine I walked into my room and right away it looked very rundown, but being an ex military guy, I told myself to deal with it

The problem arose when I had trouble breathing because the air was so dirty, and when you looked at the air conditioner it was covered in complete filth I posted a picture so you can see it yourself I also checked the sheets to see if they were dirty, and they were full of stains I literally was at the hotel for 5 minutes before walking out I was still charged the full amount

Have been staying here since October I have absolutely no complaints about this place From Rena, the owner, all the way down to housekeeping (Maria who is the sweetest person alive), I have zero complaints

Sabrina and Ashley at the front desk are so incredibly helpful and patient Even the maintenance guys, Dave and Kevin, have been so helpful to me I recommend this place to anyone It really is a great place and it’s evident that a lot of work is put in I’m order to keep this place as nice as it is Great people, great stay, and have absolutely no complaints

Rodger Pratt

No housekeeping service for the entire 7 day stay Water was hot Charge for the room safe, never used but a easy $2 per day

The hotel puts a pending charge on the room equal to what was paid at check in Not worth the $113 a night weeknight or $145 weekend rate, no discount offeredI won’t be back

gvnhimpraise,

This is the best hotel I had to stay at another hotel last week and after that disaster I made a beeline here Check in was easy and staff was very nice

I had a minor issue and it was immediately taken care of There pool is very nice It has a microwave and refrigerator A nice washer and dryer for a few dollars A free breakfast area It has vending machines It’s just a nice hotel And very clean I really have enjoyed my stay here

Found this place searching airbnb because we needed a place to host 9 people and 2 dogs It was the only place in the area that could accommodate our large group with dogs, other than a hotel Booked directly with Diana not airbnb

She was very pleasant and a tremendous host We booked 5 of the 6 rooms and all were very nice! I absolutely loved this place! I highly recommend this place especially if you’re visiting Frankenmuth since it’s not far from there Also, reasonably priced Thanks again Diana!

Amber

Booked months ahead of time *directly* with the host over the phone, not via Airbnb or their website I was told the entire BnB was open and could have my pick of rooms Booked over half the BnB and even provided credit card info over the phone

Host unprofessionally cancelled our *wedding* party’s reservation less than 2 months before the event Host cannot be trusted to handle your large group because there might be a “glitch” and she will cancel on you without a clear reason why Sometimes I read bad reviews and think “this person is overreacting” I promise you this is not an exaggeration of eventsEDIT in response:I’m sorry Diana, but when you cancel a reservation there is going to be a bad review I have seen the establishment listed on Airbnb in the past, but can see it is no longer listed so I’m sorry for insinuating it was also listed there Ultimately, I do not trust a host that cancels a wedding reservation so close to the event You also never responded to me after saying you would try to work something out, leaving me waiting on a text that would not come I am not a vindictive person, I am merely sharing my experience with your business Considering there were 7 individuals who had to find alternative accommodation for the wedding, I think only one 1-star review is more than fair My partner posted his without speaking to me and it has been deletedAnyone reading this who questions my integrity, please read my other google reviews I am a local guide and regularly review establishments You can use my track record to decide for yourself whether my review can be trusted I will not hurl insults at the host, besides to say the way this situation was handled was unprofessional and very disappointing I’m glad to see so many others have had good experiences, but that was not my experience As I explained to Diana, we were not booking for a simple one-night stay Wedding timelines, vendors, etc had to be rearranged because of her mistake To be frank, a large part of my wedding was ruined I think a one-star review is warranted in this circumstance

Let the James Begin

Generally acceptable conditions Relatively safe neighborhood and clean rooms Comfortable beds

Reasonably priced for what’s included They make a genuine effort at providing satisfactory service Pool and fitness rooms are advertised but unavailable for use Rooms have safes but they don’t function TV remotes aren’t programmed for the TVs Housekeeping focuses only on high priority tasks due to understaffing I would stay here again

Steatopygic

The evening desk girl was pleasant enough But it took an hour to check in due to computer problems The morning desk girl was unpleasant

She said I couldn’t have a receipt until I demanded one, I suspect this was because she was reading her mail and didn’t want to stand up The room was 3 of 5 clean The bathroom was 2 of 5 clean The breakfast was only waffles or cereal, and the waffle mix was sour Both of the juice dispensers were out And when I arrived, there was some sweaty, fat, old, guy with a white beard sitting in a lawn chair in front of the door wearing only shorts This is not the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at to say the least

Paul Albertson

For starters, the staff at check in just couldn’t believe that I got a jacuzzi room I just didn’t seam the type to pull it off! The room and overall hotel was clean My jacuzzi room did not have blackout curtains in it, only shears! Then today I went to ask the same check in staff person for a plastic spoon or fork and was told she could not get me one because they are only for breakfast! So I rate customer service at this hotel a zero due to the zero working at the front desk! I would stay at this hotel again if it hadn’t been for the person working the evening desk!

Overall a nice place It’s a touch dated but the amenities make you soon forget The staff we encountered were nice and helpful

The beds are comfy and the rooms are quiet The entire place is clean I mean Spotless!!! Housekeeping should be proud It’s the ONLY hotel of its size and amenities in the area So your choices are few But I enjoy staying there when I’m in town It’s been my go to for many years and it’s always good

Stacy Langenkamp

I really enjoyed this stay The front desk gentleman who checked me in and also checked me out was very polite, helpful with my questions and even watched my personal belongings while I walked to get food while waiting for my ride home The room was amazing, clean and cozy

Already booked another stay for next week and am very much looking forward to it!

Visited for the first time (having moved to Fenton almost 2 years ago), on the recommendation of some “car guys” at the Thursday Night-Linden Car Show! Hotel Burger was PHENOMENAL! Who would have thought that green olives on a burger would make such a delicious combination to a bacon mushroom burger?! We also had the Fish (pollock) and Chips

very good I would “pass-it-on” and tell anyone looking for a great meal, for a reasonable price, to stop in at the Linden Hotel bar and grill!!!

Tim Szczesny

This is a local hole-in-the-wall kind of place with a separate bar and dining area The building is old and shows its age, but there’s a lot of history behind it The ladies who work behind the bar and waiting tables are friendly and always offer great service

I always choose one of the entrees on the list of daily specials, and never regretted it However, none of us care for the salads, which just don’t seem as fresh as they could be They have the Game Show channel running on TV all day, and the volume is often cranked up in the bar, so choose a table in the dining area if you want a quiet vibe Still, we like bringing our business to a local historic restaurant Give them a try

I stayed here for a wedding, I was the only one in my group who stayed at this hotel because I had Marriott points while the others stayed at the nearby and less expensive Holiday Inn Express Compared to the Holiday Inn Express, this hotel seemed much more modern and well put together Breakfast was good and the staff was friendly

I didn’t go into the pool area because there wasn’t a hot tub I had a two queen bed room which was spacious The bathroom was really nice and big as well All in all I’m happy I stayed here This hotel lived up to the quality expectations the Marriott family of hotels brings

Bouzy Flower

Kenneth/Kenny made sure to let the people above me know they were being too loud when I requested if something could be done after hearing them for over two nights/days It ceased almost immediately, very grateful Otherwise, all other staff are welcoming and accommodating

Breakfast provided is substantialThank you for having a great staff

Passive_Crypto

We went here for the wedding party was all staying here Nice small gym to get a work out in non heated pool and no hot tub and bummer forsure! Breakfast was good, service for it could have been better manged

But the worst was taking a shower Throwing my underwear on the ground then to come back and pick them after the shower a small milliepede can out from underneath it Lucky lasted day there but probably not again with that experience
