So in October, my husband stayed here and said the room was modern and clean, so he decided to book (without telling me) for our overnight stay, while traveling The building we stayed in was different than the one he stayed in and was not clean or updated Now I know for $100 a night, you can’t expect too much, but I do expect the glass surfaces to be cleaned (the picture hung by the bed was filthy and covered in hand prints)

The bathroom walls and tub were dirty as well, and there was hair on the counter, as well as items from the last guest We didn’t see any bugs, so that was the plus The outside looks very nice but again, you get what you pay for

Our staying last 4 nights Out of the 3 days only 1 day, room service came in The room service and the breakfast is too early

Grab and go breakfast is available 6 to 9am Room service came around 9am as well The next few days we had the do not disturb sign until 10am but they didn’t come backThe please is clean and employees are kind and attentive Location is great (like 1 minute from I-75)

Would rather give zero stars, but one star is the lowest I can give This motel was very run down, dirty, and dangerous The bedding felt gross

The ceiling is caving in When we brought this to their attention, they gave us blank looks and didn’t offer any suggestions or apologies Way overpriced for how trashy this place is We bought two rooms for the night, spent $200, and didn’t feel comfortable or even safe Boo 😒👎

Stayed one night here because everywhere else near by was booked The first room we were given was not cleaned There was toothpaste all over the bathroom mirror

The shower had hair left in it and a build up of dirt and scum around the top of the shower The bed had stains on the comforter and the sheet and the floor was not vacuumed It looked like all they did was come in make the bed and add towels We requested a different room, the clerk was very easy going and understanding The new room was much cleaner

Jesse Smith

Felt like a bait and switch Bought the room months prior with the understanding that breakfast was included Sign posted in the lobby noted that due to covid, they were only offering grab and go breakfast

Not enough food was put out to give any options to guests This was the only hotel during a 10 day visit to claim covid as an excuse not to serve food Also none of the staff were masked, so this really felt like a cop-out

Great retreat place to relax place to refine your sense of serenityThis was no fast paced be there or be square place, This was a large room, tall bed, laid back kind of place Its a quite place where you can still hear the birds sing and have the where with all to hear the wind blow without being in a storm

The wind is there and you can get to know it all over Peace, like you remember No Car horns, no police sirens no planes, cars, motor cycles or screaming city sounds which wrecking your every thought At this place you can lay back in time and remember what it felt like to be free of all that You can loose the feeling of the hustle and bustle filling the world today You can experience nature if you like You can feel adulthood, you can take the time to discover your enter being You can rediscover the one you loved Just turn off your phone when you get there and disconnect from all the world for a while you can turn it back on when you leave You’ll see the world in a more peaceful setting, (Just laid back a bit) This is what living could be like but with a few amenities There is still a fancy place to eat whether at the fire place out side in the open air next to the fire or Dinning in the dinning room over at the bar, where you can still be with others and feel a little friendship to remind you the world has not gone away, have a drink or two, meditate I’m just saying this is not a nursing home type of place, but it is a destination which is separate from all the other most other places What it is, is a place which reminds you of a different exist of peace a peaceful twilight zone Loose the monsters of appointment and time schedule It’s because of all the other stuff in the world today, you can now appreciate, a place like this I was there for a wedding and this was the perfect place for that wonderful event The whether was perfect and that made it all magical

CsabaJ

Had an absolutely amazing stay, as part of a wedding organized at the ResortThe resort could host the dress rehearsal dinner (in the ‘ Town Hall’), wedding ceremony (at the ‘Manor House Ruins’) and wedding dinner with a stage allowing live band/music as well (at the ‘Georgian Hall’) The wedding was ab 100pl and could fit very comfortably

The resort allowed the guests staying at the houses rented to have access to the gym, outside pool, golf courts, etcIn the houses the rooms and bathrooms were very spacious, beds super comfortable, got everything we would need The houses had a really nice interior design in general, really felt like a well made homeThere was also an Inn at the resort where ppl would come at a more affordable price (than renting a house), from the city to have a chill day at the poolReally recommend going, if your budget allowsPerfect for wedding place or for events

Anna Brumbelow.

The front desk lady named Alexandria was incredible and so sweet She made us feel very welcome and genuinely listened to us! Young man handling check in was polite and efficient and worthy of 5 stars Breakfast had some cold pre made sandwiches you could microwave along with cold cereal and oatmeal Coffee but no creamer

Shower curtain barely touched tub so water runs out and there was a mold issue All of the outlet covers were pulled away from the walls and looks like possible heat/fire damage from the outlet in the bathroom

Nice and clean Inn Convenient to interstate Room was clean and mattresses very comfortable

Pillows ,feather type, were a little too soft for us, but not terrible There are no USB ports, so bring your plug, plenty of outlets though Refrigerator has no freezer and not very cold Breakfast area was spacious, clean and had a nice variety of breakfast choices It does have one of the best custom waffle making stations we’ve experienced which the kids loved!

Vicki B

The common rooms were nice, breakfast was good Only item of negative note is that it wasn’t very clean Carpets along hallway to room (4th floor) badly needed vacuuming, stains on carpets

Room was also not very clean We always stay at Hampton Inns and this was probably theleast clean one we have been to

Lisa Miller

Our hotel room had an overwhelming smell, like the bad breath of several really large dogs, and the room – especially bathroom – was filthy The smell was overwhelming Truly

I actually asked my family the next morning if they thought a dog had died in there There is no way they don’t know this room doesn’t smell awful (Rm 415), and they need to resolve the issue before allowing humans back in We booked ahead of time, so they could have given us a clean room We only stayed because it was already the middle of the night and we were so exhausted from a long drive I would give this hotel a zero if I could, and I’m actually so disgusted I am taking the time to draft a letter to the corporate office, and I will probably avoid Hampton Inns altogether in the future, as they no longer have a positive reputation in my mind

This park will not honor the nightly rate that is posted on their website, so expect to pay $10 more per night than what it says This is NOT good business practice and the owners need to fix this With gas prices the way they are, most RV’ers are looking for ways to save money

I chose this park because their on-line rate was better than other nearby parks Because they would not honor the rate posted on-line, I will not give my business to this park again, nor will I recommend this park The nice lady at the front desk said she has mentioned this to the owners several times and said that this has been going on since January 2022 when the raised their prices

rwujek

A most excellent RV park with the friendliest staff Site was level Bathhouse clean with plenty of hot water

Far enough from the interstate that traffic noise was imperceptible Very close to our Mexican restaurant of choice, El Nopal This is our second stay here and we will definitely stay here again next year on our way to Florida Stayed two days and would like to stay longer

Was very overpricedThe best thing about the facility was the breakfast There were several warm options including biscuits and gravy

The room was fine but there was mud on the floor and a chunk of mud on the blankets of the bedThe beds were comfortable and there were 4 pillows per bed (which we haven’t seen in several hotels so that was nice)The toilet paper was extremely poor qualityThe pool was half the size of other significantly cheaper hotels and colder as wellWe paid, after taxes, $200 for one night, but it didn’t give that much value Had it been under $100 to stay I would have been able to overlook many of the issues

Melissa Pace

Exceeded my expectations! Building and rooms are beautiful Front desk woman was so friendly! I felt welcomed and cared for! Pet friendly rooms I avoided Choice hotels for years after bad experiences at Quality Inns

This was amazing Can’t beat the price! 100% would come back! Thank you! Breakfast and coffee in morning was good too! Indoor pool so it being closed or outdoors wasn’t an issue

Steph D

Stopped in just to sleep (10pm-8am) on our way through the state Very nice front desk staff Rooms are, for the most part, nicely updated and fairly clean but the CARPET IS HORRENDOUS

I would have given 4 stars but the carpet is beyond unsanitary Huge stains that looks like dog urine (I wouldn’t let my family take our shoes off!) Beds and pillows were clean and comfortable Bathroom a little run down down but updated sink area is clean Elevator feels dirty and run down Most walls have stains and fingerprints on them

This is either a brand new or just a very well maintained HIE I usually choose HIE for the free breakfast and (in many but not all) free parkingThis hotel was nice

Very clean, fairly quiet even though it is right next to I-75 Breakfast was decent – eggs, sausage, variety of bread products, coffee, juices, yogurt Well stocked when I ate at about 7 am Attendant was friendly and cleaned up right after people left the tableWould 100% stay at this hotel again

Vera Tierney

Extremely clean & modern hotel w excellent breakfast Close to I75, but very quiet Front desk clerk upon check -in was exceptional! King bed room was spacious, had everything we needed, including a lovely chaise

Breakfast had many options, serving dishes were full, dining area spotless I know this hotel isn’t inexpensive, but you get what you pay for AAA saved us a little money

MA C

I thought that this was a new hotel because it smelled like drywall dust Found out the place is 5 yrs old

The ventilation is poor and the fan setting for continuous fan setting did not work The micro wave shelf is 5’+ high from the floor Noticed a lot of hair in the bathroom We stayed in a double queen room which felt like full size beds and they were firm Breakfast was average It had the usual greasy sausage patty and links with scrambled eggs (good), cinnamon bun, bagels, oatmeal The toilet seat was loose Nor a fan

Serious mold in the shower We didn’t want to use it The comforter had brown stains as well as the comforter cover

Carpet was dirty Entire breakfast was cold because warmers weren’t working Hallways were filthy with chunks of surface missing Keys worked one time but then didn’t work, even after reprogramming Coffee was good though

After driving hours to find a hotel with a room available on our way home from spring break in FL, we were grateful to find one at the Quality Inn We checked in around 11 pm and left by 5:30 am so didn’t stay long or even see the property in the daylight While it served it’s purpose (sleep), this hotel left a lot to be desired

Pros:-The man working the lobby when we checked in was friendly and the lobby was clean Nobody was in the lobby when we left so we just left without checking out-The hotel itself looks somewhat updated and modern and our room had a minimalist modern decor style-Rooms have separate doors that enter/exit outside like a motel so we could park right in front of our room and enter/exit quickly-Our room was large and had a full size fridge, cabinets, etc It would probably be nice for a long term rental-Our bed linens appeared to be clean, but it was late so we didn’t examine them closely-Location is nice, right off I-75 However, there’s not much right around the hotel and we didn’t stay long enough to check out the area-Plenty of parking and we noticed a Tesla charging stationCons:-This one is a big one and the main reason I’m giving only 2 stars the vents on the AC/heat unit in our room was covered in black mold spots (see pic) Knowing the hotel was sold out and with it being so late, we didn’t say anything but we attempted to turn off the unit so it wouldn’t blow air (and therefore mold) into the room It turned back on at least twice during the night and was SO loud it sounded like a saw This needs to be attended to asap for the health of the guests-The price we paid was INSANE for the room we received The room rate was about $200 before tax (total $22715) which is more than should be allowed for this hotel, even in peak season-We didn’t use the shower but it leaked and we heard dripping throughout the night-Although we booked a non-smoking room, it had a very strong odor of weed from the moment we walked in There was also a stale cigarette smoke smell-The fridge needed to be wiped out-The bathroom door was very loud and squeaky so woke one of the kids-A bug ran across the floor right in front of us shortly after we arrived-One of the beds was loud and sounded like the springs were popped or somethingIn the end, it served its purpose but we won’t be staying here again
