The room had webs hanging from the ceiling, and the appliances were in bad shape I did not ask to sleep at the Adam’s Family House I thought I was going to a Holiday Inn Express

The housekeeping dept needs to note every room that appliances need replacing, and which ones, when they clean the rooms Our TV even had ghosts that kept changing half of the picture strange colorsThe next morning the hallway looked like a party had gone on, all the way to the elevatorWas this Holiday Inn part of the IHG Family?Just Me, De6-20-22

After reading reviews I was worried I might not want to stay here But in fact it is a very nice Home 2 Suites Not the best, I agree, but still a good choice when traveling with dogs

The room and hotel features were excellent Sadly the building itself looks beat But the bed was wonderful, having plates and mugs to enjoy our take out and coffee – fantastic, and the room decor and functionality is as to be expected from a Home 2 – Excellent The staff were extremely friendly, I give them 5 stars The dogs give it 5 stars as well, there was wonderful smelling grass all the way around the building allowing for a nice safe morning walk I recommend this place and would happily stay here again

This was our last stop on a cross country trip with our baby and two dogsEverything was great except the room cleanliness We love Home2 Suites in general and came to find that this is the preferred hotel by Hilton’s brand that works best for us

With some deep cleaning in the bathroom & shower area, this would get five stars from us!The hotel team was SO nice downstairs and breakfast was great, too

June B.

The staff here was super friendly and helpful All three ladies we dealt with had smiles and gave assistance quickly The room, however, was not as nice

The bathroom had a thin layer of black dust on everything There was fine sand or something in the sink and tub The bathroom door felt sticky I had to clean before we went to sleep Disappointed is an understatement!

I stayed here on a whim Late night driving, tired, I’m sure you understand The rate for the evening through Expedia was $155

Save your money and stay at the cheapest motel you can find You’ll have the same room experienceDirt on the floors, mold and mildew galore, stains, broken plaster, missing fire suppression, bugs in every light fixture I can’t believe a corporation like Best Western would allow a place like this to operate Honestly, broke my trust in the chainEmployees were friendly thoughI will be uploading photos

From the moment we arrived; were greeted; checked in and entered our room – everything was perfect! The lobby, hallways and room were spotless!!! Loved the pump dispensers in the shower – body wash, shampoo, conditioner Lotion was on the counter as a travel size (even this would have been nice in pump dispenser) Breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety

The bold coffee was tasty and excellent Would stay again when in the area

My stay was excellent from beginning to end My check in was seamless My king room was very nice, freshly steam cleaned carpet/drapes, and good size

But, the room was hot Maintenance was there in less 5 minutes and fixed the problem The room was ice cold when I returned But, the maintenance crew went above and beyond the call of duty Kerrick and Krewchanged my tire The front was so supportive in finding someone to help I have been trying to get into this hotel since before the pandemic It did not disappointed You have good staff and your hotel is well maintained

Andree Smiles

We stayed here in a pinch! The front desk guy/staff was very accommodating, helpful, and pleasant to work with Our room was very spacious, there was a King bed and a full size bed also, so lots of room The only issue I had was our room smelled like dogs, and all that comes with having an animal in an hotel room, who may have had accidents on the carpet

I did have lysol to get us through the one night stay I recommend it to those

patricia Johnson

HORRIBLE customer service-I work in customer service and they need some lessons Arrived and checked in, got a luggage cart only to find it had a flat tire and it was the only one available Wrestled my luggage and the cart to the room and turned in the tv-no sound

I did everything I could do-and I’m pretty tech savvy-called the front desk to be told to move the furniture so I could get to the plug, unplug it and replying it so it would reset itself Did that and finally got that working I went back downstairs and ask where the ice machine was-there is only 1, it’s on first floor and at the other end of the hotel from where my room was! About 8 I called the front desk for foam pillows-I’m highly allergic to feather and was told she didn’t know if there were any but she would call me back and I could come get them! They had some so back downstairs I went My room was quite a ways away from the only elevator in the hotel so it was a hike! Normally I would be irked at the customer service, but I am in an air cast and walking is painful The total lack of customer service is astounding I would much rather stay at a cheaper hotel with good customer service

Beautiful hotel, newly built, with pretty views out the windows, especially if you’re on the fourth floor! It seemed exceptionally clean (including from mold, which is often a challenge in Mississippi) The king suite was spacious and comfortable, though the humidity was a little high I loved being able to walk to Starbucks and easily get to Walgreens

It is important to know that complementary breakfast is NOT available, though there is food available for purchase I think this hotel would be a great place to stay for anyone—individual, couple, family—for any occasion: business, vacation, or travel I have to shout out the decor for being exceptionally aesthetically pleasing Staff at the front desk were very helpful and kind Definitely recommend!

Amanda Eckert

Pros- location, cleanlinessCons: keycard wouldn’t work everytime I tried to get in the room So frustrating Yes, I kept it away from my phone

I miss keys When lugging around a toddler, you need keys that work For the cost of this hotel, some kind of included breakfast would have been nice Fruit cup I bought was moldy Having only two towels in a room is also frustrating

The housekeeping staff were very sweet The shuttle driver was great The bartender was just top notch

Amazing service from this groupThe front desk staff, however, were cold unfriendly, unwelcoming and dismissive My final hotel bill was incorrect, even though I repeatedly pointed this out before I checked out I was just ignored One of the mistakes has been corrected, but not the other one I’m not hopeful it will beI had to catch a shuttle at 3am to catch my flight No one was at the front desk so I went to sit outside by the shuttle When the women came out from a back room she came at me like I was a vagrant, would not give me a receipt for my checkout, and was flat out rudeThe location is handy to the airport, and it’s nice to have the shuttle, but the front staff needs hospitality training badly

Dmarcus White

My stay at the Hyatt was awesome The receptionist Mr George Jones was very polite, helpful and informative

He educated us on all the perks that the hotel had to offer He even recommended nearby restaurants I was traveling to Mississippi on business and Mr Jones made me feel right at home The hotel was very clean My room was clean and easily accessible Great hotel Great staff GREAT JOB Mr George Jones IV

Alfred Harding

Front desk gal checking me in was friendly She also smiled which is a plus these days Aloha!Bed is super comfortable! Many hotels forget this is the point

I got a great nights sleepWould have liked a room with a better view than AC fans though (I don’t have Hyatt status) I know they had better rooms as the Hyatt App tried to upsell me At least the room seemed to have great sound proofing as I didn’t hear the fans outsideThe property seems new but previous guests have banged up the furniture in my assigned room That’s a shame (Furniture pens are your friend and make a big difference in perception)I would stay again (Maybe in a better room the next time please)

This is definitely not the traditional Embassy Suites that I have become accustomed to! The rooms were not clean, they did not have enough towels, furniture was miss matched in the room, some of the cleaning staff was very unprofessional, front desk clerk (Muriel) had a nice-nasty attitude both times I interacted with her I was working with the senior sales person while planning the Family Reunion, he was on vacation during our time there and never bothered to give me a contact person in his absence (I found out he was out by his out of office notice) When I finally found out “her” name, I never saw her or heard from her the entire weekend

The problems we had were not addressed I can say much more but I’ll just sum it up and say this is NOT the best hotel to stay at!! 1 1/2-Stars at best Don’t be fooled by the nice lobby, like we were When we booked the hotel we were told we could not see the room because of the Covid/Cleaning policy (which I could respect)… That’s a complete joke! They have signs on the mirror in the bathroom saying they were Lysol cleaned… Did not smell one scent of Lysol and my first room had mold all around the air condition vent, elevators weren’t cleaned, no vacuuming of the hotel carpet (I looked at the same piece of paper on the floor for 2 days) My air conditioner went out the last night! One of my family member’s air condition went out the first night…One good thing was the F & B staff: Maxine and Ms Willie were very kind and accommodating The salmon was a little over cooked but dinner was decent I definitely would NEVER stay here again!!!

I’d like to update this review The hotel was very responsive and reached out to me to make it better I respect that and wanted to give them credit

This hotel has barely earned 1 star The weekend I stayed they didn’t have the staff to manage the load of guest and large family groups they hosted One or both elevators were broken the 3 nights we stayed The stairs all had forced exits to freezing temperatures The workout room never had water and not all the equipment was functioning The ceiling fan had gaps around it and the ceiling had damage This a new hotel It’s not going to get better The water in the pool as lime green the morning I checked out I could never attempt to get In because it was over crowded the whole time I was there The staff ignores you and is not offering house keeping except if you request If you request they are not there yet and they have you come to the front desk for towels were they ignore you and have extended small talk with other guests not even acknowledge your existence I believe they care from their response to my previous review and it will get better or this was just a blurb

Had a great experience here I had never been to this part of Jackson before, but it is such a nice area The rooms were clean and spacious, and the pool/gym were spotless

Upon checking in around 6pm, they had vegetables, fruit, and some crackers out, as well as a fountain soda machine for use The breakfast service was wonderful, and the employees were friendly I loved the oatmeal station with fruit preserves to put on top There was also a made-to-order omelette station Staff came to clear my dishes out of the way during eating I highly recommend this place for great service and a very comfortable stay!

This hotel is NOT CLEAN, from the elevator to my room If I could have cancelled my reservation without loosing my money, I would have without hesitation! The room smelled like someone had been smoking in it when we opened the door The shower door was nasty and dirty, around the outside of the shower it was moldy with rust

Inside the shower was not clean, we had to go purchase shower shoes to take a shower The shower head looked like with was coming detached from the wall The corners in the bathroom had dirt buildup One of the nightstands had something all on the side of it, not sure if it was dried vomit or milk The only good thing, the sheets on the bed and bath towels were clean I would have thought with it being a Hilton hotel, as well as the location(Madison, MS), I would be pleased and it would have been clean But, ABSOLUTELY NOT! Even the elevator was dirty, the wall paper in hallway was peeling and looked dirty I felt like I was at a motel 6 I couldn’t wait to check out Monday morning before 7am! Hilton, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED and I expressed it to the checkout staff as well!!!

Jean Dabit

From the moment we checked in until the moment we checked out, we were made to feel like valued customers!! The young lady at the front desk, Jada, was wonderful!! She was kind, sweet, pleasant & extremely helpful! She had a sincere desire to make our stay as nice as possible & we greatly appreciated her kindness! Jada’s customer service skills are exceptional!

Desk woman was very friendly & helpful Hotel room was “ok” Privacy shade wouldn’t cover entire window (had to cover bottom 6″ with pillows)

No TV remote in room Dark yellow stains on towels and the towel rack (for all towels) is in the shower? Strange set up There obviously was a recent leak from the room upstairs as the entry ceiling had water stains and blistered paint & swollen drywall Last gripecouldnt find an coffee at 5:15 ambut there’s a starbucks down the street Other than that, the room was clean & hotel was nice

We had car trouble on vacation and just managed to limp our way to this Hampton Everyone was incredibly helpful Crystal made sure we had everything we needed, including a local mechanic recommendation and an extra late checkout

Our rooms were clean, large, quiet, and comfortable Kids loved the mini waffles with whipped cream for breakfast

Amanda Leopard

We stopped here after being on the road for 13 hours The room smelled heavily of cleaners and was quite outdated The pool had too much chlorine and you were unable to see the bottom as the water was so cloudy

Checking in the gentleman wasn’t overly friendly BUT the lady working at 5am was very friendly not only to me but everyone When I explained I didn’t sleep well with my 2yr old sharing my bed and needed some good coffee she quickly got a fresh pot of coffee from the back and offered multiple coffee strengths (dark or light)
