Super clean rooms despite being under staffed Hotel in general is in very good condition and the rooms are nice The mattress in our room was one of the more comfy hotels mattress we have slept on

It’s clearly not a super cheap mattress Overall just a great experience here I will recommend that you get a room as far away from the intersection as you can It seems that on a Saturday night every local in town has to make the turn then accelerate as fast as their vehicle can go with super loud exhaustmakes for getting to sleep early a bit rough Not the hotels fault the locals use that corner as a drag strip, so it doesn’t affect my rating

Great downtown location, room was large and clean with a big TV and very comfortable bed I liked that the mini-fridge has a real freezer! Staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in The bathroom is a bit small but includes nice amenities of citrus scented shampoo, conditioner and lotion

Breakfast was standard eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast with coffee and juice Overall very nice place to overnight for a Cedar City visit Would recommend

This little hotel was in every way a quaint & excellent addition to a wedding anniversary memory for my husband & I ! Exceptionally clean & cozy with an awesome staff of people who clearly wanted our stay to be memorable in the best possible way The breakfast food was beyond the ordinary, Thank you That afternoon we decided to try the option to ride the bikes offered, and that ended up being such fun! Bikes were in great condition w/ large soft seats btw, and our ride thru the quiet streets of town was simply delightful! After dinner we asked about the fire pit option- and were surprised to have the owner meet us out at the lovely fire pit area with a cart FILLED with everything imaginable fun for s’mores! It happened that some college girls were walking in the field behind the hotel and were a bit chilled

When they asked if they could get warm by the fire, the owner was friendly and kind about including them as well Meanwhile we thoroughly enjoyed hearing all about their hopes, their plans and their progress in the effort to make a stay at THIS PARTICULAR Best Western HOTEL something simply extra-ordinary and it really IS just that! They offered RV parking options if that was the preference, and seasonal fresh garden veggies grown on site just as a part of the country experience for those who might appreciate that kind of thing?! Wow! Let me just say we left this tidy little place with a feeling of optimism about this ‘ole world – and that’s a rare thing to offer your guests that came just hoping for a good night’s sleep Thank you kindly & we pray you will prosper in your efforts !! We will indeed come again and will ‘spread the word’ to any who might stop in Cedar Much Appreciated

Charlie Marken

This is not a Bed and Breakfast! It is a small parking facility with back in sites and full hookups and a few small cabins all geared toward semi permanent housing for seasonal workers The camping sites are gravel sites with steep curbs you have to back over to get in and out of your site The sites are very close to each other

There is no manager on site you have to call a number that is found on a sign on the three front resident cabin There is no street sign nor any kind of directorial signThere are no trees, no picnic tables, no fire pits, no restrooms, no showers and no laundry The other couple we were traveling with and us had the only 2 open sites during our stay, all other sites were permanent residents We would not stay here again For an additional few dollars more than the price we paid we could have stayed in a real RV Park in Cedar City

Sonja Teixeira

My husband and I booked this place from a recommendation by a close friend It was all we expected and more The owners were so accommodating with check-in after hours, it felt like they were family and we were just coming to visit

The room was so clean and the bed was so comfortable that we were well rested for our adventures around Cedar City the next few days We would gladly stay again

Stacey Garcia

Posted this 3 days ago but thought I’d add, so quiet!! Nobody on the other side of the wall being loud because it’s your own little cabin and no one running on the ceiling above you!! It’s the same price as a hotel, but no worry of noisy neighbors!! Also adding more pictures, original review when we first arrived: Very nice adorable cabins!! Beautiful floors and nice interior! Amazing food wrapped and brought to your room!! Definitely will be returning in the future!!

5-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (for cost)… Read entire review to understand why I’m giving this hotel 5 Stars! Okay, so obviously this is “NOT” the best hotel in Cedar City However, as far as the price goes, you cannot find anything better The rooms are clean, updated, and include a mini-fridge/freezer with mini-microwave too

The swimming pool was clean, but towels are not provided outside The staff was extremely polite and professional If you’re just staying one night or want the best hotel (for the cheapest price 💵 💵), I definitely recommend this hotelI was extremely worried looking at the price ($59 per night) compared to other hotels in Cedar City (ranging from $119 to $179 per night), but everywhere was full and we were only needing one night stay I’m very picky with hotels and where my boy’s and I stay in each city as we travel around the state of Utah playing in statewide accelerated league baseball tournaments 8 months out of each year To my surprise, this hotel was actually cleaner and more updated than some in other cities I pay $130 a night forI definitely recommend this hotel if you want a cheap rate and great front desk service with a small swimming pool It actually blew my mind 🤯🤯 It definitely taught me that you can “NOT” judge a hotel by its daily room rate cost 💲per night

Paige Tao

This hotel provides very affordable price with clean & standard room The hot water in the bathroom is very hot and strong The pillows and beds are comfortable

The staff is nice and friendly It has a washer & dryer in the hallway if you want to do laundry It also offers free breakfast with coffee, toast, and self-made waffle Surly a great place to spend a night on the traveling

Scott Martin

If you see a price on-line you better go that route for this location We picked the motel based on the on-line price of $54 and when we called for the reservation we were told that the price was $105 We were tired and in a pinch so we said yes

We asked the front desk about the price difference he said that it was his last room and that he could adjust the price as he saw fit But wait it gets better We get in the room and the AC sounds like an idling semi truck Then the faucet was not secured to the sink, there was a 1/4 inch gap between the base and the sink The shower would have been better if they had a garden hose sticking out of the wall I can only imagine the hair clog in the tub At the end of my shower which was short, I had 4 inches of water in it Lastly we had an electrical plug that was missing the wall plate so easy access for little fingers At $50 I could have overlooked a lot of this But if I was in your place, go somewhere else If the motel reads this, IF you are going to charge the higher price for your last room, make dang sure it’s worth the price

Michelle M.

My rating is a 45Beds are comfortable, huge variety at breakfast — including gluten-free items! — and many channels to choose from Only negatives: The very thin walls and floors (which I know is standard these days for newer hotels) and while the room was pretty clean overall, finding dirty underwear in the wardrobe this a

m when doing our packing up was not a pleasant find Dog-friendly (love the welcome sign!), good location, would stay again

Thomas Longmore

Stopped in for a one night stay in May I sleep super hot, and it was the beginning of a short heat wave The AC worked fantastically

No complaints about the bed The breakfast was top notch, serving biscuits, gravy, sausage, bacon, pancakes, fantastically delicious cinnamon rolls, tasty coffee, and a good variety of fruits and dairy options The breakfast alone makes this stay a valuable stayThe only problem we had was that the shampoo and body wash were empty They brought up some full bottles for us, but didn’t change them out, and there wasn’t a lot of space in the shower to put the full bottles I would happily stay here again

Michael K. (Mike)

This is my second stay at this hotel in Cedar City The rooms are very nice, clean and well-keptThe morning breakfast has a lot of different options each morning

The staff have been very helpful and kind The hotel is also dog friendly As a frequent traveler I highly recommend this hotel

Without a doubt one of the best places I’ve stayed The hosts were so friendly & kind, and served a delicious breakfast in the morningWe stayed in the Gable Suite & were blown away by the decor and how comfortable it was

I could have never gotten out of bed – seriouslyThe backyard has a couple hammocks & a wooden swing which is perfect in the eveningWe’ll be staying here more often!

Sam Paul

This place is seriously amazing! Incredible attention to detail, comfortable rooms, great location, friendly hosts, and a very peaceful setting all make it a top-notch B&B I got in late at night, halfway through a 1,000 mile drive and couldn’t have arrived at a better place There was a note left for me with all the information I needed, and when I got to my room I was able to enjoy a peaceful soak in the claw foot tub next to a warm fire and felt like I had stepped back into another century

I mean, where else is that even possible? I gave myself enough time to hang around and enjoy breakfast and the grounds the next day, which I am happy I did, because the rest of the property is just as cool and peaceful as the rooms themselves You can sit and enjoy the sunshine in the back garden, do some reading in the library, or just lounge and enjoy yourself in any of the multiple, beautiful sitting rooms In combination with incredibly accommodating hosts, the house, grounds, and breakfast make this a one-of-a-kind place to stay I intend to come back for longer in the future If you are looking to stay in town and you’re reading this review, you’ve already found the best place Go ahead and book it!

Bob Wilson

We spent two nights at the Big Yellow Inn and enjoyed the experience The owners/hosts made us feel welcome and at ease The breakfast provided plenty of variety and quantity

The inn itself is picturesque and interesting to look through with eclectic decoration everywhere Our only complaint was that the mattress was much softer than we are used to, but that’s a personal preference Although there is no motel-style ice machine, there are refrigerators with freezers and ice makers for use by the guests

This was one of the most fun 2 day stays ever We stayed in the sir Francis drake room for our anniversary trip to cedar city We were close to the Shakespeare globe -walking distance

And we were driving distance from many restaurants open late Parking was spacious in the back of the building Also a nice smoking area in the back The room was clean tidy and beautiful The bathroom was well stocked on toilet paper and other necessities The owner was lovely and breakfast was yummy We even bought a souvenir cup from the inn It was a lovely trip Only thing that was a bit weird we thought we had paid online when we made reservations but had to pay again at the inn at the end of our trip

Johnnyl koyle

Amazing hosts! Went above and beyond Yesterday was one of the owners birthday, Gary Elsasser Him and his wife Charlene made the impossible happen

Instead of celebrating the birthday, they worked really hard to get a room prepared for us Our reservations at another B&B were cancelled and we were scrambling for new accommodations Gary and Charlene made it happen Yesterday was the first day of our 31st Anniversary plans, and thanks to this amazing couple we were able to rest peacefully Thanks so much! We highly recommend this establishment, Amid Summer’s Inn Johnny k

Sandy morrow

Our stay was fantastic All the hotels were booked so we were referred to a Midsummer’s Inn, as they still had some rooms available So GLAD we stayed there instead of a hotel! The owners were so hospitable and cheerful and welcoming

The full hot breakfast was amazing and presented in the most beautiful dining area It included eggs, potatoes, sausage, a fresh fruit bowl, granola, yogurt, and a wonderful cherry souffle Something for everyone The room was nicely appointed in turn of the century decor and the California King Bed was luxurious Will definately stay there again, next time we pass through Cedar City It is, by far, better than any hotel we could have stayed in Would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a memorable and comfortable time

I loved it! Clean and very nice room, comfy bed, and delicious breakfast! It’s also within walking distance (a couple blocks) of some good restaurants, a book store, and the theatres where the shakespear festival playsThe room we were in would not have been accessible to some people since we did have to go up stairs, and the bathroom was quite small Totally worth it though, and I would and probably will stay here again!

Gae Hirsch

I would let them know that when we arrived the little map in the envelope was attached confused my friend with a bad hip and me with a funky knee climbed all the way upstairs because we thought our rooms were in the back at the top Details details, the lamp next to the 2nd bed in the corner was very low and did not turn on Could have used a second small table or shelf in the bathroom when more than one person has toiletries

The room itself was lovely with all of the other amenities you could ask for Especially appreciated the blackout curtains Yes The breakfast buffet was excellent And the environment to chat with other visitors was delightful If they’d have us again we’d be happy to be there

Yvonne Alley

Nice place, quiet, if you like not much interaction with hosts, then this place is for you! Breakfast was very special, zucchini bread delicious and southwest eggs delightful! Bed super comfy! Had Elizabeth room, perfect for one, would be cozy for two! Walking distance to restaurants and only mile away from historic interactive pioneer place

This place isn’t fancy but you shouldn’t expect that with the price Quite run down (tub wouldn’t hold water), smells a bit off, towels were old But the bed was comfy, the third floor was quiet (with the fan on to drown out the sound of the interstate), and I slept like a rock! Breakfast was very limited but I expected that when the description was continental versus hot

I needed a cheap comfy place to sleep and this did just that

I had a leak directly over the bed that started at 2 am coming from the fire sprinkler that constantly dripped

I got zero sleep that night before a grueling hike The hotel was full so they couldn’t move me to another room The front desk says that sometimes happens (line gets clogged, water builds and causes a leak) Maintenance “fixed” it that day That night the leak started again, and it was so much worse even coming through the recessed lighting drenching the bed I put a garbage can under the light on the bed and tried to sleep next to a garbage can with a loud torturous dripping of water In the morning the garbage can was nearly full of water and I asked the front desk to look at it, which they did Again, the hotel was full and I should have slept in my car Sure, problems happen, but what is unacceptable is that the manager Robert NEVER returned my call after multiple attempts Although the room was clean and we enjoyed the breakfast, I can’t give this property more than 1 star In fact, it’s a poor reflection on the Marriot brand

After reading some of the reviews a few months ago, I was a little skeptical about what our stay would be like While you can tell the facilities have been around for a number of years, there were many updates in our room that made it feel like we’re in a new hotel Our room was clean with really comfortable beds and nice wood floors, which was great with our puppy

Breakfast was filling and the kids enjoyed the hot tub Not a bad stop if you passing through or even if you’re staying a few days The front desk staff were very kind and helpful

Michelle3345

Quality inn was a good stay, the front desk guy was awesome he was very helpful! Very friendly, all staff is friendlySome things to think about: the rooms are a bit dark even with all the lights on and the drapes pulled back, the tub was a bit slippery I had to keep a foot out sometimes so I could keep balance, the big pool was cold no one really wanted to go in it because it’s still cold outside and the hot tub doesn’t open till 4 pmI did really enjoy my stay it’s by a lot of fun things you can do, it’s within walking distance to several places to eat, we enjoyed walking down Main Street and hearing the bag pipes play and see all the fun stores, we also really enjoyed the hot breakfast they have, if you need a good place to stay I’d definitely come here they strive to live by their good name!

Nancy Stevens

We slept better than we have yet after a month on the road on their VERY comfortable bed The A/C also was one that was not on auto, so we didn’t have to listen to the compressor turn on and off The staff was great and breakfast was very good (except for the 30some kids who were on a “road trip” – say it very loudly), which was totally not the fault of the hotel

The chaperones were louder than the kids, but they were just having a good time We would definitely stay here again

This place is in a good location, near places to eat, gas, things to doI have to say that the front desk personnel are very good, and one person stands out That person is Cindy

She was extremely helpful and kindThe room was nice, there was a microwave, coffee maker (not keurig) and refrigerator It was mostly quiet except for occasional visitors that need to talk extra loud in hotel hallways for some reasonThe housekeeping wasn’t great At first it was okay and then it was not It was okay because they would come in and “clean” the bathroom and replace towels and soap and take out the trash which was great But there was a card that you were supposed to put on your pillow if you want the bed sheets changed I put that on, it didn’t get changed Put it on the next day, it didn’t get changed I figured I’d try one more time before bringing it up to the front desk It finally got changed That was after 2 weeks ☹️ One other time, housekeeping knocked so I answered and said that I would be a few minutes I left and came back hours later to find that all she did was put a bunch of towels on the toilet tank and remove the trash Talk about disappointed I know that not ALL the housekeeping personnel were like that but I would just like them to do their job the way that they shouldOverall, my stay was satisfactory and I would definitely stay there again Thank you Cindy and Raven! Keep up the good work!

I was given a room i wasn’t supposed to be in and i had hotel staff show up as I was trying to get in the shower He was in plain clothes knocking on my door asking to come in, wanting some supplies that were left in the room for sterilizing it I didn’t believe the guy, but eventually he produced a hotel ID badge and i grabbed him the stuff

They let me stay in the room anyway and I’m just hoping it wasn’t a covid room that was still being quarantined or something It’s been a week and i feel fine Everyone else at the desk etc Was great and got us all our recipes at the end The location is not ideal for food unless you have a car or feel like a pretty far walk or if you like golden corral, the only food nearby It is near the freeway though

This was among one of the worst customer service experiences everHad to book due to severe weather, traveling north on I-15 Upon arrival and check in, the front desk worker was extremely rude

We are traveling with our older children and requested a second room Front desk worker refused to book another room, said “what you booked is what you get”We went online and pulled up all the availability to show her that there were plenty of rooms available, and she still refused to book us a second room! Said they were short staffedAsked to be refunded for the room that we had already booked so we could go elsewhere, because she wouldn’t get us a second room She would not refund, so we went to the website, booked and paid for a suite with a spa tub (paid extra for it) and she put us in a broken room!!!! Tub is out of orderWe called the front desk from the room and requested to be moved to a working room and she refused to do anything to make it right, but instead hung up on my husband! He was being very calm and polite So unacceptableCalled customer service line and filed a report Still sitting here in our broken room as I write this Very poor experience

Says hot breakfast and all they had was biscuits and gravy (gravy was like paste) and waffles how is that a hot breakfast? No eggs, nothing

I am also a member of choice brands and it doesn’t even show me staying here for 4 nights total of 70400z Do what you say you will do and a hot breakfast is not biscuits and waffles We had a king suite that was the size of my bathroom be careful what they sell you!!!

We have loved Comfort Inn on other trips, but this one is not equal at all My first complaint was the elevator position is on one side of a long building If your room is at the other end of the hall way, you’re getting some exercise, especially for hauling suitcases

They do have luggage carts if you’re lucky enough to get one, though you will have to go down the long hall to the first floor to get itThe curtain in the shower isn’t long enough to keep the water in the tub area Also, I agree with the grumpy woman at check in She does need another job!I did appreciate the boiled eggs and sausage for breakfast Thank you! It is hard to eat at a hotel when everything has milk in it Thank you for having a diversified offering for diet differences

Great customer service Breakfast was really well done Room was updated and very clean

Bed was comfortable and they had a wide variety of pillows I’m picky about that so loved having a choice It was quiet in our room The pool and hot tub are great My only negative would be the breakfast staff were having a pretty loud conversation among themselves while we ate Would recommend this place and will stay here again

What an awesome place The owners obviously care about their guests and it really shows From check-in to breakfast the next morning, everything was excellent

The room was spotless clean and the bed very comfortable Loved the little fridge/microwave/coffee counter space separate from the desk area The breakfast area is in a separate building that is very well staffed and has lots to choose from Plenty of seating available both inside and outside

The rooms are pretty nice with good sized tv’s! Best nights sleep I’ve had in a hotel The mattresses/pillows are super comfy! I actually looked up the mattress so I can buy one They have a nice indoor pool which is in its own building with towels, tubes, tables, lawn chairs…even an outdoor patio

The breakfast was fresh and the staff was more than accommodating…they were all very friendly and made you feel at home I love this hotel and will be coming back! Gives you at “at home” feel Thanks Abbeys Inn!

Great little rv park Very clean and affordable The owner (Gail) is a sweetheart

Friendly and easy going A few rules I appreciate Quiet after 9:00 pm Close to a Few fantastic hikes Not a very big RV park BUT GREAT FOR THE PRICE In the center of town right across from a nice little park with swings and slides for the kids There are a few long term RV’ers Everyone seemed very friendly Small grass area where there were two or three tents set up Nice little bbq area a and fire pit A sink is provided to wash dishes Restrooms and showers were very clean and Well kept Laundry room was a great amenity to have available Other campers in general seemed to enjoy this park I know I did If you’re looking for seclusion or to be away from everybody, you’re better off Boondocking The town itself is small, maybe a Couple hundred people The perfect place to get away from the city Very impressed Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼

Great place to stay! Shade trees, two open patios, grills for your use, laundry room and even a sink to wash your dishes Two AMAZING hikes within walking distance Kanarra Falls and Spring Creek, both are breathtaking! After your hike enjoy a hot shower from a clean and updated restroom

There is a great restaurant down the street and only a ten minute drive to Cedar City Gayle and Kevin are your hosts and go out of their way to make your stay perfect Loved our stay and enjoyed the quiet We will be back!

Solo traveler; stopped here overnight I didn’t feel safe here and wish I had gone somewhere else Made a reservation and when I got there the lady told me she didn’t see it and just sold the site to the people who walked out of the office before me

She said it was big enough to share and went out and told the other group Well, there are no tent sites There is a patch of grass in the middle of a bunch of permanent RV residents who shout to each other all day and sit around drinking six packs and smoking cigs One of the residents in a little cabin gave the other tent people some food and was insisting that they try it The kids obviously didn’t want to and it was super uncomfortable to watch Oh, also, one of the two showers was broken The lady was going on and on about how annoyed she was with the plumber I don’t care

This was a great place to stay Everyone was friendly and the park was kept up nicely The location is also excellent

Only about 5 minutes outside of Cedar City, but you feel like you’re much deeper in the mountain The only comments I have are that some of the RV spots are more un-level than others, so you may need more than your usual amount of leveling equipment Sections of the roads within the park are also a little narrow, but they warn about this on their site Just take your time and you should be fineI’m incredibly happy that we stayed here and we will definitely return

We stayed here for a quick one night while traveling through Utah The facilities and sites were wonderful Super clean, a bit tight, but room to hang out

The staff was very helpful in allowing us to move our reservation up one day (because they had availability) and that was very appreciated One item that almost left me leaving 4 stars was that the road this facility is on is a bit noisy We overcame that by leaving the fan on the RV on to drown out noise, but if that’s an issue for you, it’s something to considerOverall, we were super happy with our stay and would recommend

The campground is clean The bathrooms are comfortable comfortable and generally cleanThey are heated which is pretty nice

The sites are really close together which makes it feel a bit crowded and and the tent sites particularly are close to the road Between the noise from passing cars takes and close neighbors it’s kind of hard to feel like you’ve gotten away from it all On the upsid the camp hosts were very accommodating and allowed us to rent an RV space at the tent rate so that we could have electricity They were very responsive and pleasant by phone Overall it was a good place for a base camp to explore local sights
