This is a great location All of the employees I have interacted with have been extremely nice and helpful! From the front desk to the guy mopping the floor, everyone has been great The breakfast was delicious with some little special touches that bring it up from the normal hotel offerings

The pool and hot tub area is unique and highly enjoyable

Kendall Barber

Very clean and spacious rooms Front desk attendant was super nice and helpful Close to a lot of dining and attractions

We were directly across from the elevator hall, and heard very little noise I know for fact the hotel is completely booked, and there are several youth athletic competitions this weekend so it’s full of kids I’m actually impressed at how quiet it is here We will definitely book here again the next time we are in Frisco

Matt Grove

Catherine was an amazing front desk clerk Mornings and nights she is always on the help and goes beyond a smile to make your stay worth while Thank you so much for everyone saying Good morning to me, made me feel welcomed and warm in the cold season

The area is high in athleticism and really encourages you to go out for a jog or visit one of the local gyms nearby just minutes down the road! The pool was perfection along with the waterfall attached to a hot tub! Most relaxed I wasShout out and a big thanks to Michael the manager of comfort suites Frisco for making a huge positive impact on your employees and hotel!!!

Best RV Resort EVER! We stayed here for a month and had one of their fenced spots and our puppy was thrilled to not have to be on a leash to be outside Chris and Kristen do an amazing job of running the place Everyone around was super friendly and helpful

When we pulled in with our trailer Paul, one of the residents came over to see if we needed help! We had neighbors on both sides of us that each had dogs which was fun for our fur baby The property managers have a bunch of goats and chickens that I got to feed! This is such an amazing community! If your in the area I highly encourage you to stay here! The rates are super affordable for what you get and Chris and Kristen are always running around in their golf carts checking in on everyone Love love love this place Can’t wait to come stay again!

This was our first stop on our family’s new RV adventure! If you are traveling with pups, this place is a MUST! The fenced yards were perfect for our crew who is new to the road 😉The staff is incredible and so truly kind! We really appreciate how helpful they are!The community within the park is like one I have never experienced before! To say we enjoyed our visit is an understatement! We will be back!! Like

next week! 🤣

Sara Nguyen

I don’t normally leave reviews but I’m very disappointedThis was supposed to be A NON smoking hotel and it definitely wasn’t

The hall on the first floor reaked of smokeWe stayed in the King suiteThe room was obviously not deep cleaned before our arrival There were cigarette butts in our room when we arrived We found underwear by the air conditioner as wellAnd the pull out bed smelt terrible and had socks that were not ours folded in the bed The toilet had to be flushed multiple times to actually flush

I cannot recommend this hotel if you are looking to be able to sleep I am laying in my room right now and I can hear everything the person in the room behind me is saying and I can hear the tv show the person on the other side is watching I can hear every step the person above me takes

It is unbearableThis is the only hotel I’ve ever been in that sounds like the walls are paper thin This place is very new too They clearly spent as little money as possible

The hotel was clean And comfortable with a nice kitchenette in the room Bedding was comfortable and everything worked well The gym equipment was awesome, the Precor brand and fun

The only complaint I have is the snack bar they have to buy snacks was Ridiculously priced 400 for a 20 ounce bottle of coke, or chips, 4 seems to be their favorite number for their overpriced snacks If you go, do not buy their snacks, you’ll pay less at a convenience store or at Trader Joe’s If it weren’t for their snack hype, it would have been rated a 5 star for me

Chris Hoven

We booked a two queen room for our family of four through the Hilton app We got there, and we were moved four times before putting us in a room with one bed and a pullout couch We were also told that breakfast went until 10am, but when we got down to the lobby at 9:10 they were closed

Brought these points up to Ashley at the front desk when we checked out and she was extremely rude Told me they were oversold on queen rooms, and implied it was somehow my fault that we had booked it She rudely pointed to a sign at the front desk that said breakfast ended at 9 and told me I should have read the sign, and she would tell her night crew to start reading the sign too Funny thing was, I got on the elevator to go back upstairs and there were two other people that were told the same thing Definitely will not be staying here again

James Muse

I arrived in the middle of the night from a long day of travel I was greeted by Kiarra who ran to do the door to let me in and got me keys to my room in a very efficient manner Kiarra was extremely friendly even though I was in a bad mood from my day

She was so sweet that I actually took the time to apologize to her and recognized her ability to not allow my sour mood affect her service I could feel her smile through her mask and the sense of urgency to help me in any way I needed When I got to my room there were snacks on the counter- strangely and I think coincidentally, there were some of my favorites My room was very clean as well Thank you Kiarra for making my awful day of travel better! We need more people like her in the hospitality business!

Room was nice, bed was comfy Customer service is severely lacking at this hotel My friend had booked a room at the same time I did

When she arrived, her room had been given away, due to “overbooking” She was never notified, or offered any real solutionI’m not sure if that’s the hotel’s fault or the third party booking, but nonetheless the lack of care was disappointing I would choose a different hotel in the future for this reason, which is a bummer because it’s in a nice area within walking distance to some cool spots

Shishir Vahia

Value for money But quite far from the business district You may end up paying more for rideshare to reach somewhere

I had requested a microwave bowl It was not provided for 15 days Kitchen amenities are available but needs a 2nd clean Rachel at the Front Desk is very helpful Housekeeping Service is claimed to be provided every 7 days My room was serviced only once in 17 days that too after a couple of requests

baseballfanjayden27

Amazing hotel! Only downfall is every time we would use our sink it smelt HORRIBLE! Smelt like straight sewage disgusting! The drain on the restroom floor is where it came from Besides that we enjoyed our stay Aso our room didn’t come with a hair dryer… we had to call the front desk and get one from a different room and she wanted it back after we used it…

A previous stay here was amazing The only thing I would recommend is that the dirt dust and mold in the lobby and guestroom bathrooms be given a deep cleaning I attempted to stay at this location last weekend

However, the male front desk clerk who worked overnight on 03/19/2022, insisted on a rate of $199 as the lowest rate for two queens at Military/Govt rate or member rate, but the app showed $122 I was initially disappointed but was able to find a better hotel 5 minutes a way

Deietra Bolden

While the hotel is beautiful and the cleanliness of the lobby was great, the rooms were a different story and so was the staff We booked the hotel to stay at while in town for a wedding It was a large party with some rather tall men and kids

One bedroom had blood spatter on the sheets when pulled back The rooms are advertised as doubles but don’t specify the bed size They are full beds and are small making it difficult to sleep two to a bed and the men and children had issues I believe it should be advertised as full sized beds and not just doubles At check in the front desk staff never asked if I needed help When the other staff walked up to ask if I needed to check in, the staff that was already there shrugged her shoulders and said she didn’t know I replied that it was because she never asked or acknowledged me

Yulonda Fluker

So I stayed Saturday night to attend a wedding Sunday after noon in McKinney and thought everything was in place on Sunday before the wedding Unfortunately, that was not the case I had multiple dress wardrobe malfunctions and did not know what to do I called down to the front desk explained my situation and she politely explained that no one was site to assist and that I should try a tailor

So l google to see if anyone was open and course not they were all closed!! So I calmed my self down and prayed and looked at the guest services number and Delores knew my situation from Dee at the front desk and was able to assist me I just wanted to give both of those ladies a shout out for assisting me and can truly and honestly say this location has earned my loyalty!!!

Room smelled like smoke and meth Bathroom had lots of “cigarette” burns, as well as furnitureCarpet was ripped up behind the door

The knob was severely damaged and did not lock The insulation around the door was nonexistent, I could see daylight around the entire doorThe AC unit was severely damaged The laps functioned, but the power plugs in them did notI stayed in room 215 – this is not worth a 2-star hotel rating

Shalinda T

Room wasn’t cleaned Toothpaste all over the counter Even with Covid

The bath tub leaked water so bad we couldn’t sleep Checking in was also took 45 mins due to not knowing where our room was Because we slept there for a couple hours before leaving we weren’t offered a refund or anything because we attempted to stay Management felt no remorse for the situation

Ralph Peabody

We selected this hotel based on a very pleasant experience at another Holiday Inn Express in the Dallas area Sadly, we have been very very disappointed with this hotel It seems they are using Covid to cut down on housekeeping

Getting clean towels is almost impossible During our stay, we have tried to get clean towels every other day which we did not think was too much to ask given that the rates have not gone down during Covid We were told that if we leave our used towels outside the door before we leave for the day, fresh towels would be delivered Imagine how unhappy we were she were turned to the room at 8 o’clock at night and find no towels in the room When we went to the front desk to ask for towels, we were told there are no towels What a great way to run a hotel!

Stephanie Perez

If I could give 0 stars I would Don’t stay here unless you want your things stolen I left my wallet in the safe that I didn’t think I had to lock if I was going to be back soon

Besides, I was the only one who had a key card so if anyone was going in to clean the room, why would you take something so obvious? Thanks a lot Holiday Inn

I had my wedding reception in The Grand Hotel Ballroom a few weeks ago!Megan Lamm (the Wedding Director) and her team did a fantastic job Megan is very organized and made sure every detail we planned together was taken care ofFrom her team setting up our decor, to keeping a tight schedule, to the food (oh my gosh the food was delicious

many of our guests complimented us on our food selection and the signature drink we chose for cocktail hour) – everything went SO smoothlyMy husband and I got to just thoroughly enjoy the evening with our friends and familyAlso, the Arts & Blooms Festival was the same weekend and thank goodness Megan helped bring back the hotel Valet, so that our guests would not need to worry about finding parkingThank you so much for being part of our special day – I would recommend the Ballroom to anyone that wants a classy reception with great food from Rick’s Chophouse, all conveniently located in Historic Downtown McKinneyThank you again for everything!!

Phil Prickett

My daughter reserved a block of rooms for her wedding reception weekend I called many weeks before the reservation and gave my credit card When I arrived they told me I didn’t have a room

After about twenty minutes of researching they finally found me a room I had reservations for two queen beds We had 3 people and needed two queens But they have that room away The room they found for me was a king so daughter had to sleep on a roll awayThen when I checked out they overcharged me so had to get that corrected The water pressure in the shower was very low as wellI will say that we had a private dinner in ricks chophouse and it was Fantastic!

We choose this rv park because it was walking distance to my son’s home, but quickly found out what a great place it was It has many amenities! Pool, bathrooms with showers, laundry, reading room and my favorite, the fitness room They maintain the property extremely well

Pool is always clean and so are all the facilities It was peaceful and the staff was super friendly and accommodating They also communicate effectively for any events happening there Definitely returning on our next visit

Katy Van Note

We used his RV park a year ago and found it lovely This year we stayed one night because we were returning home from a winter stay elsewhere We registered in the office and were given a map

We were met by a gentleman in a golf cart who told us to unhook our car first and that we needed him to help us find our site because we would not be able to find it on our ownWe followed him through the winding path of the original campground and across the street to the new build These lots were much bigger and more spacious, but we discovered we had to back our motorhome in… Not really a problem except we backed it clear to the very edge of the back of the lot and still had to connect another 10 foot septic hose because we could not reach the sewer hook up with our 20 foot hoseIn addition to that, the site ran slightly uphill towards the back and so in the morning we had difficulty dumping our tanks The design wasn’t user-friendlyOnce we got everything hooked up, we left the park in our car to go visit with friends When we returned at 9:30 at night, we entered the main entrance to the park and discovered that the map we have been given did not have anything drawn on it to lead us to how to get back to our lot We started driving around trying to find the little street that we had crossed and got completely lost We called the after hours service person who sounded like we woke her up (which she did tell us later that we did) She was unable to get her computer up and running and couldn’t seem to understand our problem I think she thought we were trying to check in We had to call her back twice and she called us back once By then we had finally figured out the map, which is very confusing, and managed to get ourselves back to the lot by about 10:00 pmWe were both very upset and irritated The bottom line is, someone at the office should have drawn on our map so that we could have figured out how to come back after we left We didn’t bring enough bread to leave a trail of crumbs the first time 🙄We tried to call the office this morning at 9 o’clock to just give them a heads up as to what happened We don’t really like to write a review if we can talk to the owners and just tell them The automated system told us we had zero people in front of us in line to speak to an operator and then promptly told that there was no one who could take our call and to leave a message We tried to leave a message but just gave up and decided to write this reviewThere were also only three stalls for individual bathrooms and showers for the entire section It’s a good thing there wasn’t a line I did not see the laundry room so I don’t know how that wasWhile it’s a very nice park, there are some design flaws Not sure we will stay here again

This hotel is older but it is clean, neat and well managed The people that run it are great and easy to talk to and very freindly/helpful You can actually see their industrial washers cleaning the linens and towels

My room was spotless This is not a 5 star hotel in the sense of being luxurious, but if you need an inexpensive hotel to stay in that is safe, clean and friendly – This is your place

Jennifer Oviawe

The guy at the front desk was awesome Created small talk for a couple of minutes when I checked in and when I went to get something out of my carI really like the look of the room

Way better than the Super 8 I stayed at a few blocks away It’s updated

Reed Franklin

I checked in at the Super 8 in McKinney, Texas and went on about my business in town Later when I went to take a shower, the faucet handle came off making it impossible to turn on any hot water The next morning the front desk person said they would credit me back some of my room charges

After checking out and going home, I kept watching my credit card account but no credit Later on that week we returned to that same hotel for another stay (I know, “Fool me once, blah, blah, blah”) and I mentioned the promised credit Since I was standing in front of the desk clerk they said they didn’t know what had happened but would give me a credit right thenUnfortunately, their idea of “fair compensation” for a customer paying almost $80 per night for a room and NOT being able to take a nice shower differed greatly from mine What they considered fair was to credit me the SALES TAX amount for one night

First off, I am the type of guy who is super lenient and laid back in fact I believe this is the first time I’ve ever given a bad review on google We showed up to a room that was just terribly dirty Asked for a vacuum they said no is it okay if they clean first thing tomorrow

We said that’s perfect! The next day at 2 pm I went down to ask if they were going to clean our room and they said yes we will have someone get right to it 4:30 our room got cleaned The following day we went out all day then came back at 7pm Our room hadn’t been cleaned You have to ask everyday for them to clean your room which we were never told Me and my fiancé have never experienced this We’ve experienced typical bad hotels here and there where you see like one piece of hair on the ground Our room had long black hairs every where in the bathroom floor Didn’t know it was as bad as it was until I swept the floor with a towel Nail clippings in the carpet and sticky grape juice like stains all over the walls I wouldn’t of posted this if someone would’ve simply told us that we had to request room cleaning That topped this 4 day trip!

Not a good experience! No hot water Their was no one available to clean our roomThe room was run down, dirty

We were excited to get in the spa and let the jets hit our painful joints however their was no jets, the indoor pool was so foggy from the heat off the pool and what ever kind of spa that was made the windows steam so bad it was hard to breath or see The hotel was dirty and run down such a disappointment for being outta state and not knowing the area Save your money dont stay here

Booked a room with roll in shower accommodations 2 1/2 months in advance for Christmas week They only have 1 such room, apparently, and gave it away to someone else It was stressful to know what to do, but the woman at the front desk helped locate such a room at another hotel

Since we lost so much time and had to travel more, they gave us a voucher to pay the first night Fast forward 3 months—manager refused to pay the other hotel for the night that was promised So it was just added to my credit card with no warning And when I try to inquire about it, the manager won’t take my call or call back So ridiculous Don’t expect to find a room with accommodations here You may be very disappointed
