Terrible place, sitting outside like homeless person waiting on a room that was supposed to be ready before noon now here 6 hours and still nothing Update I’m beginning to believe that this location is a Franchise, the carpet has stains in the room The shower curtain has a blood stain or maybe poo stain don’t know

The DEAD BOLT does not latch in the Door Jam (big safety concern there) outside in the hall ways is very DINGY The Breakfast was pretty weak to include the All temperature Box Milk they give you is More like the military milk if you were ever in the service Also it seem they refilling all the shampoo bottles with cheap stuff dollar store don’t know why The pool is very dirty it need to be drained and repainted or somethingThe fitness center is sub par Compared to Corporate Owned Holiday INN Actually it seems every time I end up at a franchise Owned Hotel it’s always a bad experience Compared to a corporate one That’s my experience how bout yours??? There is also a restaurant attached but it’s only Open for special events I guess The business center gives you no privacy that’s for sure in the end I would suggest spending an extra 20bucks for a Hilton will be sooooo worth it

This hotel falls short on many things First the good Bed was comfy room was clean and breakfast is available

Now the bad…The hotel is in need of major renovations There is not one wall in the hotel without scuffs Carpets are pulled up from subfloor with heavy staining evident Room furniture is worn There is not a single USB connection in the roomThe common breakfast area is not inviting at all It reminded me of a highway rest stop cafeteria While the concept of a restaurant on sight sounds appealing, do not go to On Tap Just don’t

I stayed at this hotel 8/8/22, I loved it there The bathroom was nice and clean no dirty bath tub and no hair on the floor The sheets smelled nice and fresh and there was no noise in the hallway

I’ve been staying at the Quality Inn, in Colonie, NY every Monday and I had to make a change, this is how a hotel is supposed to be I will make this my permanent spot every Monday that I have a layover

We have pictures and videos of the bed bugs, and the owner acknowledges that she was contacted and informed of the situation by Hopper, and never bothered to come down stairs to check on us Her response to hopper informing her of the situation was “tell them to leave the key when they leave” Never once has she reached out to make sure we were safe leaving our hotel at 2 am and hunting for arrangements

The comment insinuating that I brought bugs into the room is quite telling in itself Take responsibility for your property This is a health concern

Julie Soto

We stayed in the Gluha room a week ago There are bedbugs in this room – I was bitten approximately 300 times in one night only (I have pictures) We let the owner know 4 days ago about it, she told us she had never received any complaints (however, I see that another review mentions the bedbugs a few days before I even called

) She just said she would check the bed and spray the room The rooms are all carpeted, and there are curtains / decorating fabric everywhere, so I don’t think quickly spraying the room would do muchOur trip was ruined – we spent our first night at our destination just doing laundry and putting everything in garbage bags to avoid spreading them, and were worried sick the entire time The owner never offered a refund, or even an apology

David Pinkus

My son goes to RPI (about a 20 minute walk) and this is my new go-to place when visiting him The mansion is full of character, and the owner/host Tina is such a warm and wonderful human being It’s also a delight to have breakfast at her table (which she prepares for you to order) with other guests

Sure you could stay at a more expensive chain hotel closer to campus, but you’d miss out on something truly unique and wonderful

I travel for work, have had the pleasure of staying at this hotel at least 5 times now for a whole week at a time The hotel itself is very clean, the hot tub and pool area is awesome after a hard day’s work, and I love all of the outdoor seating along with their beautiful plants and decor The staff is amazing and very attentive

I had a small mishap occur and the staff went above and beyond to correct the situation This is one of the best Hamptons I have stayed at and i always look forward to staying at this hotel

Peter Carmina

Clean rooms and a good breakfast about the only thing you could ask for would be extra waffle makers! Our rooms did have an issue with the bathroom sink not draining very well and I believe it was a drain line issue because the toilet wouldn’t flush very well either At one point the toilet was completely plugged and a call to the front desk got the front desk worker to drop off a plunger but he said he was by himself for the night and could not help us So he left us with a plunger to fix our room ourselves

That said, I still would leave four stars

This was a completely unplanned hotel stay that my kids and I will remember forever Our entire county lost power in residential areas and I wasn’t able to find a hotel closer to home Chose this hotel specifically because it has the indoor pool and hot tub, but also a great price for an immaculate hotel

Everything was so clean The staff were very friendly and helpful Breakfast in the morning was probably the most beautiful set up I have seen with a great selection They have a clean, spacious dining area that had more of a cafe feel to it The pool and the hot tub were exactly what we had hoped for, not too crowded either The hot tub and pool were both handicap accessible- this is something I love seeing, even if we don’t use itAll around, a great stay for an awesome price

OG BassheadMom

Those people who left a negative review have obviously never stayed at some of the other hotels in the area I’ve been traveling back and forth to Albany for a while now and all I can say is do not go for the cheaper hotels Last time,, let’s just say I have never been so disgusted by a hotel room in my life

so, when I got to my room at LA Quinta I was so happy The room was nice, clean and the bed was comfortable The staff was friendly and helpful My son had a good time in the pool and the breakfast was nice too I can’t stress this enough – it is not worth it to go for the cheaper places Spend the extra $50 and stay here, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised

nathan dice

We didn’t get the room we reserved but could use the room we got if we had a roll away Do you think 1 was available at anytime during the stay? Nope Our key was some how deactivated nearly every day, which led to a trip to the front desk

The continental breakfast was truly pitiful as well The staff was really good despite these glaring issues Always friendly and did whatever they could to help At best, meh

Laura

I spent two nights at this hotel while in the area for a family reunion The service was great The employees were friendly and got us into our room early which was much appreciated

There was construction going on during our stay which caused some noise during the Friday we were there, but it wasn’t bad The room itself was fine It had a small fridge which we used and enjoyed The carpet was really gross It felt greasy and gross My socks were black from walking around for about 10 minutes The beds are rock solid It was like sleeping on a wooden board It’s a basic spring mattress where the springs make very audible groans every time you shift The springs are not even, so you get that occasional spring that’s higher than the others jamming into you I barely slept because the bed caused me so much pain The Dove soaps in the bathroom were nice The shower curtain was torn in several places and could have been replaced Breakfast was what you’d expect They had bacon, pancakes, Horizon chocolate milk, juices, eggs, cereal, etc Where more and more hotels are cutting the free breakfast, this was nice to have The view of the city and the surrounding environment was very nice Overall, it’s okay for a night or two, but don’t expect to be particularly comfortable and wear your shoes in the room because the carpeting is disgusting

wanda marshall

I have been traveling from different locations from Albany to Buffalo and back to Albany for the last 2 months every weekend This hotel was the nicest, friendliest and most accommodating The lady who signed me in was also the one when I left

She was amazing, has a great personality and give Super customer servicePeople will stay at a hotel just because of the name Hyatt regency sounds so rich and amazing and some would think that it would be better than a Holiday inn Express People let me tell you I have come to find, it does not matter about the name of a hotel it matters about how it is ran and the people working it

Amy Corman

I had to be at the hotel for two days while my fiancé was out in meetings I picked this hotel because it had an okay looking gym, okay looking breakfast, and the rest of the pictures looked fine Got here to realize the pool out of order, gym was out of order, no fridge or microwave in room, terrible smell in the room, and the breakfast was not good

I don’t think I’ll ever stay at a holiday inn express again after this experience If you’re going to have specific amenities, try to at least make them usable Very disappointed

We stayed in this hotel while visiting friends in the area The location could not be better! It is close to many restaurants and shopping! And the airport is not far from it either! The hotel was very clean and the free breakfast was the perfect way to start the day! The staff was polite and helpful! They also have a pool, albeit a small size but a pool perfect for cooling off! Parking is right is front which is super convenient!

Great location, excellent service, very clean and exceptionally well maintained, inside and outVaried breakfast offerings, fitness center, guest coin laundry, large rooms with ample workspaceWish the rooms had operable windows or roof toilet exhaust fans were not turned off in rooms when guests are out

As I have been a long term guest, this has contributed to the problem of stale air, odors The carpets were recently cleaned but they were not dry when guests were allowed back in rooms Outside service cleaned entire property in on dayThe front desk is staffed with service prosIncredible value – this property suffers from low visibility, lack of signage, and hard to recognize and other Marriotts in the area are easier to identifyVERY close to Albany Airport and has complimentary shuttle service

Richard B.

I flew into Albany, NY on some personal business this weekend and stayed at the Fairfield Inn, which is about two and a half miles from the airportThe room itself was very comfortable, especially the bed, and it had a very nice bathroom shower – which is something I always appreciateThe room itself seemed to be pretty well insulated from outside noises, which is also something I appreciate

I don’t know if I will have occasion to be in Albany again anytime soon, but if I do, I will very much consider returning to this property

Over all a decent hotel, especially for the price! The location was close enough to the airport that it wasn’t a headache getting in and out Staff were very nice and accommodating as they could be Bed was comfortable and the pillows were great

The blackout curtains worked like a charm I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are looking for something close to the airport and easy access to the free way!

My husband stayed with an employee of his on March 23-24 for a last min business trip Online reviews were not bad, better than others so he took a chance

The beds were not comfortable and there was no hot water to shower at 4am! This is not acceptable for a hotel of this size The previous week he stayed at another local, comparable hotel that he loved, but there were no rooms available this time Very disappointing

Tamer Soliman

My family (wife and 2-yo) and I came at that Hampton from DC for a short visit, checking in Friday July 8th, and checking out Saturday July 9th We drove from DC, so it was a pretty long, exhausting drive, and reached the hotel past midnight We ended up going to bed around 2am, but the most distressful thing happened the next morning at 7:30am when we heard our room door slammed shut! Turns out that a total stranger, whom we later found out to be a maintenance technician, walked in on us in our room while we were sleeping to do maintenance, despite the DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door

Of course, after such a distressful incident, we couldn’t go back to sleep We spoke with the front-desk person (Rachel), and found out that we were already checked out in the system, and maintenance was allowed to walk in on us We never checked out, in fact, we actually wanted to check out later, or pay for a day-use so we can get some rest before we drive back again to DC Long story short, we didn’t feel welcomed, neither by the front-desk person (Rachel), nor by the manager (Tom Gibson), and were initially offered a 10k points in compensation, which was simply disgraceful compared to the distress my wife and 2-yo had to go through It even came to a point in the conversation with the front-desk person (Rachel) when I was asking for a day-use, just to make up for what happened (I would’ve paid), that there was no availability and that we will have to check out at 11am! None of the subsequent conversations were going in a good direction, and there was rudeness involved in some responses So because of that ill-treatment and complete dissatisfaction, we ended up not staying further and leaving the hotel at 9:30am, much earlier than typical checkout time, which is at 11am Instead, we checked in at Downtown Albany Hilton, where we were greeted and welcomed with a much nicer guest services team I expected a 100% refund for our stay (or lack of), but all what the manager (Tom Gibson) offered was just half of that Would never stay again at that Hampton, and wouldn’t recommend to anyone else

Easy, efficient check in Friendly staff Very clean room

roomy and comfortable Appreciated the mini fridge and microwaveBar was only open 6pm-10pm (Nina, the bartender, was pleasant, funny and attentive) Breakfast was also still very limited (COVID throwback) We were still able to get a hot bagel sandwich (sausage, egg and cheese) even though it wasn’t advertised Glad my brother asked, otherwise we would have had cold cereal or a muffin Yuck!Nice river view

Lindsay Romeo

We enjoyed our stay here! The location is super close to lots of bars and restaurants, which was great! I also had an issue with my bill and the front desk was quick with resolving it after my trip However, I didn’t necessarily think the premium price was worth it for this stay– the quality of this hotel is similar to any other Courtyard Marriott

Carol Caravassi

The cleanliness and comfort of the guest rooms were completely up to the usual Marriott standards we have always come to depend on, however, the friendliness of the staff and amenities at the Troy location were not We had over 100 guests attending my son’s wedding at Brown’s Brewing Company next door, so we thought the convenient location of the Marriott would be perfectThe 50+ guests who booked into the Marriott at our recommendations all expressed unhappiness about the limited hours at both the bar and the coffee station/breakfast facilities were open

Anyone who attends a wedding celebration until midnight certainly is hoping to get a cup of coffee in the hotel lobby after 9:30 am the next morning! We felt obligated to treat all of our guests to a real breakfast when we discovered that Starbucks closed at 9:30am This may be acceptable for those few guests looking for nothing more than a clean and comfortable room, but it was not acceptable for this very special family event where people flew in from all-over the country to attend When booking reservations for that many guests for the same event, they might want to consider extending the hours of bar and coffee facilities

Compared to everyone else’s my stay was extremely different I first get there we asked the front desk to stay on the second floor with all of my teammates This worker said, “yes i can” we asked well okay do it then she has the courage to say “oh I’m sorry I’m not going to it is to much work”

At this point we were all extremely upset but whatever Next there was this man doing laundry (worker) he had a robe on with what we thought nothing underneath while he was bending down To be fair he had thongs on, bending down letting everyone who walks by see At this point we are on the verge of leaving A teammate of mine texts us saying “guys we found a bedbug” they show us a picture, we compare and it’s identical to a bedbug We pack our bags and leave right away

My dog and I came here as an emergency long stay till we could find an apartment The staff welcomed both myself and Jaxson with open arms and loving hearts During my stay they have shown nothing but care, love and compassion for the both of us and the horrible situation that brought us here

They have treated my dog as if he was not just a dog, but as apart of a family,as well as me They have gone above and beyond for the two of us and have made this journey ahead of us so much easier They have tended to our every want or need and have been a huge support to us both They’ve made me feel like we were both family to all of them I can never thank them all enough for all they have done and for the strength they have given Jaxson and I to continue on to the future I’d recommend this hotel to anyone We are so grateful for all of the staff and want them all to know Jaxson and I love them all very much and will never forget them❤️💙🐶

Horrible stay, will never stay again There was a dog that wouldn’t stop barking and howling for hours I notified the front desk and she told me “I think I know which room it is”

She came down and explained that the woman is at work I asked to be switched to another room She said it won’t be the exact room and I said no problem Then she said oh there’s no rooms available She said she would call the owner and the dog usually does this because the lady works I said ok then you know it’s an issue I let her know I don’t have a problem with any animals but the howling was going on for more than 3 hours before I even complained She told me she would call the lady and tell her she needed to come immediately I said ok thank you About a halfhour later I went back to the desk and the girl informed me the lady would be home soon I said ok no problem I said now I’m not going to be able to stay here if the dog continuously keeps barking and I would need a refund She then proceeds to tell me that she can’t do that and then 2 seconds later she said well it wouldn’t be refunded until 7-10 days I told her I didn’t care when the refund came but I would get one She said she got ahold of the the lady and that the next time I stay at any Red Roof Inn I would get a discount I told her I will never stay here again and to have a good night Very disappointing, Table and chair was dirty The bathroom shower head hadn’t been cleaned in god knows how long I only stayed here because the HomeWood Suites were sold out

The Crowne Plaza Albany is an absolute outstanding hotel that provides great quality rooms, superbly made meals and first class serviceIn March of 2022, I brought and treated my wife and myself for a weekend stay at the Crowne Plaza Albany and we enjoyed every moment of our time at the hotel!!!We were warmly welcomed and graciously treated by the hotel’s staff and our hotel room was quite spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean!!!The highlight of the Crowne Plaza Albany and our favorite part of the hotel was its immaculate indoor courtyardThe courtyard is filled with multiple dining areas, a gorgeous fountain and guests are able to view it from the comfort of their own room

My wife and I also enjoyed our breakfast at Mr D’s Restaurant & Lounge and found both our meal and the service of the restaurant’s staff to be superb!!!Both my wife and I enjoyed our time and experience at the Crowne Plaza and definitely recommend for all travelers to stay at this wonderful hotel!!!

I have never had a more pleasant experience I was there this past Sunday and the staff made me feel beyond welcome, but the bartender Anthony went above and beyond what I would expect He was fast, made amazing drinks and was extremely charismatic

I have never had more fun and felt more comfortable at any other bar! I would absolutely recommend going to Mr D’s you will not be disappointed

Interesting hotel layout; it was built by American Airlines in 1974 when they tried to get into that business Their theme was an old time America thing, which resulted in a unique hotel The hotel has two atriums that are like old town squares

The hotel was clean and the staff was good The meeting rooms were great, especially the theater They have a shuttle to the airport, but not to the train station Many people with my group arrived by rail, so that would have been nice The place is obviously popular for weddings because I saw three while I was there I was impressed with their catering I went to a banquet there and the food was great

We had a lovely stay at the Hilton Garden Inn The room was very spacious and very comfortable I liked the big arm chair

Other things I liked was the parking was spacious, the location of the hotel was convenient, the staff at the front desk was fine and the room was very clean and quiet The hotel has a well kept elegant atmosphere Looks like a great place for a conference, I saw the meeting area downstairs and there’s a real nice outside space My complaints are that I wish there had been some lotion; We were put in a room overlooking the physical plant (terminology?) rather than the neighborhood, even though we are Hilton Honors guests and there weren’t that many people in the hotel Also the coffee in the lobby was lukewarm even though it was first thing in the morning after it had been put out The front desk person said that 10 minutes after she puts it out, it gets lukewarm Sounds like the hotel needs some new carafes because there are certainly some that keep coffee hot longer than that However, she got us some coffee from “out back” and that was plenty hot, so that was good I was surprised that at least a continental breakfast was not included Even the cheapest hotels have that, and this is the Hilton! However, overall we were very pleased with this hotel and felt comfortable and safe

Convenient to Impact Athletic center, friendly staff, reasonable rate Rooms were sufficient and clean Not too fancy

Breakfast was good with hot selections Cinnamon buns were awesome!!! They even opened breakfast a little early for us on a Saturday to accommodate for our kids’ early tournament start at the athletic center Great restaurant right next door, too

At a glance, this place is greatPros- Nice parking lot, right next to a delicious pub Kid friendly

Nice staff Pool is great sized, rooms great size Clean Cons, our bathtub didn’t drain or turn on and off without a lot of work Even my husband struggled We only stayed for one night,so we didn’t complain The pool area was decent The pile of dirty towels were there when we arrived and still there when we left No towels replenished our whole visit We had to go to the front desk multiple times for towels for our kids,as well as other guests did the same Breakfast was delicious, nice sitting area Overall a nice stay I would stay again

I’ve been calling for a week about hundreds of dollars of team gear left in one of their rooms after a regatta weekend Not a single person has helped me Three have told me management would call me back, no one has

One of our athletes was also stuck waiting for their room to be cleaned until 11:30pm before they could stay in itThe room the gear was left in also had not been cleaned as of 9pm the night of check outDuring our stay, large groups of people were hosting a party in the lobby which split up into loud groups across the first two floors, making massive amounts of noise right in front of the rooms of our doors until after midnight We had to ask them to stop, the hotel staff did nothing All they did was move floors and continue to be loud in front of other roomsAfter booking exclusively with this hotel chain our team will be looking elsewhere now You have to wonder how staff are being treated to perform this poorly

I stayed last weekend for my child’s tournament and it was great!! Staff was very kind and helpful as we were from out of state and didn’t know much about the area Rooms and building were very clean The pool was also great, the kids had a blast

The GM was amazing, she was so friendly and made sure everything was up to our standards Thank you Park Manor for taking such good care if us! Definitely will book again when we play again next year

Major letdown We stayed at this location a few years back and it was amazing We were very disappointed this time

Upon walking in, we noticed the lobby floor was not very clean Check-in was a 20-minute process because no rooms were ready even though we arrived around 4:00 pm, an hour after check-in time began When we finally got a room, there were no bath towels, wash cloths, or bath mat, and the toilet paper was not on the roller There was a hand towel in the bathroom which was smelly One of two coffee mugs was missing from the coffee maker On my reservation it says “full breakfast” and the representative at check-in confirmed that hot breakfast is served in the morning for $10 which we were looking forward to since it was so good the last time we stayed here However, when morning came, there was no hot breakfast being served The dining room was dark and empty except for coffee, cereal and muffins When asked about the advertised breakfast, the woman at the front desk told us there was no hot breakfast on Mondays So why does it state “Cooked-to-order breakfast available for a fee daily 7:00 AM–11:00 AM: USD 10 per person” on the travel websites? No explanation was given It’s a shame because this hotel has a beautiful interior and could be so much more but it has gone downhill since the last time we stayed here From the minute we arrived and our room wasn’t ready, to the next morning when there was no hot breakfast as promised, Park Manor disappointed with basic things

During a renovation to our home, my mother and I stayed for ten days Our experience was wonderful The staff were just great, the rooms and other areas were extremely clean, and the furnishings were just beautiful

It made it a pleasure to stay My elderly mom and I had connecting rooms, with my mom’s being a handicap accessible room Both were furnished beautifully with 2 queen beds, a desk, and a reading area My bathroom was a great size and the handicap bathroom was huge for wheelchair accessibility and a walk/roll in shower There is a bar and restaurant right in the hotel The bar has a happy hour at 4 pm You can eat either in the bar or the restaurant The food is very good and the waitstaff were marvelous The hotel also offers a buffet breakfast that is phenomenal with a chef making made to order omelets, French toast and waffles We couldn’t ask for more from our temporary home!

We had our daughters Sweet 16 celebration at the Hilton Garden Inn Clifton Park Our friends and family are still talking about it! Everything was perfect thanks to Carol and her team She made sure our vision and expectations came to life

Carol answered all of our questions and came through with all of our requests Our out-of-town guests were happy they were staying at the same place as the venue and told us their rooms were clean and spaciousness The food at the event was very good and reasonably priced An additional shout-out to Jasmin, she was a server there that night & was also present during breakfast the next day Thank you for being so kind to us and our guests Our overall experience was a great one and my family and I would highly recommend this Hilton location for your event needs

Very nice place with extremely friendly staff Was happy the pool and hot tub were open A little cloudy compared to other places we’ve been, but still clean overall

The proximity to everything was awesome We ordered apps from the restaurant/pub and then pizza from Blaze (across the street) Kind of wish we had more time to hang out as we also thought it was cool that the one hall went directly out to the mall Very cool placecheck it out even if you are “local”

We’ve stayed at this hotel twice now The room was clean, breakfast was continental and some options changed daily I asked for extra towels and sheets, front desk gave me plenty

Housekeeping was very nice The AC worked very well in the room The shower was nice and hot Only small complaints were the pool smelled very chlorinated, but it was heated so maybe that is why it seemed that way There is no vending machine on the 3rd floor, so we had to go to the 1st floor for snacks We were able to get delivery to the room from a local pizzeria

David York

The basic of basic Rooms are okay Lobby good for sitting when you don’t wanna be couped up in the room

Nice size pool only 4 and half feet deep tho Friendly staff Location isn’t near much but everything is few minutes away Now, the rooms idk if it’s the staff or what have you but there was hair on the beds sheets and towels They moved is to another room which was good and would’ve been great BUT again hairs on the sheets in the next room as well The tub also has a used old bar of soap in it and wasn’t properly cleaned either So house keeping can use some improvements
