Hotel is beautiful inside Room is very nice, clean and roomy; beds are very comfortable There’s a $75 holding fee for incidentals

One drink vending machine only took cash, went to another vending machine and looked like it took cards; however, when trying it all it said was authorizing but never did anything so we canceled the transaction We went back to the room and tried to order some waters through room service but was told it might be a little bit because they will have to ask house keeping to bring it to us House keeping staff was very pleasant Restaurant was good, only one server available but she was great Parking options are either valet or self parking at another hotel parking garage for almost the same amount as the valet

Five star review, but that’s what I would expect to experience for a hotel in this price range Really impressive architecture inside, rooms were very comfortable, clean, and well maintained Ate dinner at the 1st floor bar

Food, atmosphere, and service were terrific Really enjoyed my stay, first class Only surprise was the $24 mandatory valet parking (or go find public garage), though I did take advantage of it and appreciate it

The hotel is beautiful, but we were not treated well and some things are slipping through the cracks Valet was nice, but they are understaffed and couldn’t keep up with demand We saw them wreck a luxury vehicle in the rush of trying to keep up with customers

We booked the hospitality suite because we were in town for our wedding reception (my husband and I eloped last year in Kenya) and needed extra space to get dressed The suite looked nice but needed maintenance The Murphy bed leaned to one side and the first pack n play they brought for our newborn would not stay engaged (unsafe!) Upon checking out, my credit card was charged for a marble table that I’m sure was chipped before our stay Even after communicating that I noticed it was chipped while getting my makeup done, the director of sales charged us without doing further investigation This hotel looks great on the surface but its operations are struggling Also, the photographer for our bridal party called ahead to get permission for us to take photos inside the hotel; however that was not communicated with the staff on duty We were questioned by several staff members and watched like a hawk by the head of security even after he was given the info he needed It was such an uncomfortable experience and disappointing

This place is the worst Courtyard I have ever stayed in and I am an Ambassador Elite member so I have stayed in a lot of them The hotel is dirty in the common area as well as the rooms They do not clean your room every other day like they say they will or as requested

The little bar and restaurant are only open a couple of hours a day When I ask ask about it they said it was due to COVID I think the hotel staff needs to get over using that as an excuse That may have worked a year ago but not now There are other hotels in the area like Hilton that I have stayed at as well and they are open and they clean your room and the common areas of the hotel This hotel is poorly managed and I will not stay their again There are other better choices in the area and they do not try and hide be hide COVID for their poor management

Kati Nelson

Our friends stayed here while they were visiting from Atlanta They discovered a few hours after they left that their tablet was left They called the hotel and let them know and asked me to follow up bc I live here

I went to the hotel and was told there’s no tablet here After showing them a screenshot of the “find my tablet” and that it may have fallen between the nightstand and bed and demanded that they go look for itFortunately it was exactly where I told them it was Unfortunately, had I not gone to the hotel and demanded they look for it, my friends would have lost their tablet This is simply not acceptable of the staff People continue to disappoint me with their utter lack of concern

Sheri Powers

BED BUGS !!!! I have called the health inspector to go inspect today Stayed there Saturday and have been bitten by BED BUGS Absolutely horrible

So disgusting I should have known by the POOL being NASTY, and the ceiling looking like it was about to fall into the pool The manger parks where people are supposed to pull into unload Just really disgusted and will never stay here again and likely never stay Marriott againDo NOT stay here stay at the comfort inn across the highway

Very nice hotel!! If I could give more stars I would!! Clean rooms breakfast was good and nice pool The beds were comfortable as well Honestly I dont think I have ever slept so good in any other hotels

We really enjoyed our stay The lady that works evenings at the front desk was so kind When I came to check in after spending the day at the Gulf Shores beach and was so sun burnt she told me exactly what I should do to help ease the burn and even gave me some vinegar to help by rubbing it on my skin It works by the way!! But she offered all this without me asking for it she just did it out of the kindness of her heart! If you read this thank you so much again! We need more kind people like you in the world!! We will definitely be back

It was actually a very clean updated room There was a good little pool even though we didn’t have time What brought us in was that it was pet friendly

We reserved online and just paid a $25 pet fee when we got there The floors were not carpet and looked like new tile amd laminate The whole place was much nicer than I anticipated The location was central to a lot of the things we wanted to see There was shopping within walking distance and an amazing antique store right next to it The complimentary breakfast was very nice and had plenty to choose from The waffle was really good and my wife and I grabbed some snacks and water for the road We will definitely stay here when we come back

Wiki Steve Felton

Excellent place to stay and you will not find anything similar in this price range My girlfriend and I have been world traveling for many years now and we are always looking for the budget deals This place has exceeded all expectations and the rooms have additional amenities that I haven’t even seen in places with twice the cost of here

Thanks to all the friendly staff and Lisa at the front desk made check ins a breeze We decided to turn the car back and stay another night Cheers!

This is a very nice hotel my wife and I are really enjoying our stay here The rooms are clean and suitable I like the vanity in the bathroom and the option of three different mirrors in the bathroom The shower provides good hot water and plenty of pressure

We got the king size bed and the room has plenty of room in it to put your item so you’re not cramped It’s in a nice location as well real conveniently close to Walmart and other places I would recommend this location for a few nights stay

Cheryl Vaughn

Room was super clean, front desk staff & other staff members I came across in the hotel were very friendly & helpful Loved having a balcony to look out over the Bay Area Breakfast smelled wonderful but having an 8 week old puppy with me, I didn’t want to leave him alone in the room

For being a pet friendly hotel, I never smelled the typical “wet dog” smell as I have in others I hope I go back to that area so I can stay there again!

Donald S. Everheart Sr.

Staff was friendly and helpful From directions around the city to a nearby ice-cream shop There was a very nice cashier that gave me a breakdown of how to get a balcony view next time

Then there was Mr White He was cleaning the floor when I spoke with him but he was very informative about the hotel as well as the goodness and kindness of the staff and where he like to go for sightseeing as well as good dining This was a wonderful experience We will return and this time, we’ll have a balcony view of Royal Street

Customer service was excellent! Room was awesome! Hard wood flooring was so clean you could walk barefoot and NOTHING get on our feet!! Bed was so comfortable! House keeping lady was super nice as was the front desk person Most of all I left something valuable in the room I called and within five minutes Christie went to the room found my item and called me back! I highly recommend staying here

I will again for sure!

Matthew Milner

We had a two night stay and everything went very well Simple check in Our room was easy to get in and out of on the ground floor of the courtyard

Our room was simple but well appointed The AC seemed to run all night, but it was not loud and we slept well on a bed that we initially thought was going to be too soft They are right beside the civic center and a short, 3-block walk to Dauphin Street and all of the bars, restaurants and music venues And parking was free! We would stay here again

Very nice stay Excellent room and the breakfast was good Very convenient to I-10 and there is a wide variety of restaurants within 500 yards of the hotel

Susan at check in was a dear – we showed up about an hour early and one of the two rooms wasn’t quite ready We hauled our luggage up to the one room and waited Susan personally delivered the room keycard! Fantastic service! The 3rd floor cleaning supervisor was a bit of a grouch though but she didn’t rain on our great stay

Jackie Wooten

The 1st room they gave us the bathroom floor was dirty and it smelled like urine The tub looked like it had mole on it The ceiling in the room looked like it had mole or water damage

Good location but everything is old and dirty Even the air smells old No room service

You have to go fetch your own towels Room was dusty, smelled moldy, carpet tiles filthy and some peeling up, bed head dusty, bathroom had mildew in corner of shower, all the walls looked dirty and towels while they looked clean didn’t smell clean smelled like they were in an old attic for years I’m imagining that’s what a motel feels like Can’t say staff was great because aside from one person at checkout desk there was no staff Would never book to stay here again

Inna

Place is very clean but outdated I think if they can change the furniture and make it brighter/ whiter rooms it’s going to draw more people

Best part is location! Downtown Fairhope is absolutely gorgeous! Beautiful small shops and boutiques reminds me of a small Paris town where time slows down and you forget that on Monday you gotta be back at work lol! We chose this because of the location and location only!

fitfourfive /Stephanie Rofkahr

Extremely dissatisfied with the way the hotel handled my car being impounded They said I could park anywhere around the hotel, I even asked if our front was okay and the employee said “yes, anywhere” I asked if our front was “free” and she said “yes”

On day 3 my car was impounded and I choose this hotel due to being able to walk everywhere freely The hotel staff, both managers, did absolutely nothing to help nor would they drive me to get my car that was impounded The Hampton Inn of Fairhope does not represent the friendliness of this small town

Very happy, was nice to my family and took care of our needs when we were there Breakfast was good Room was nice for the money, clean and beds are comfortable

Customer service is the selling point for here, very on point Overall, very clean and tidy I will 100% come back from what I saw from our room, stay, customer service, and etc

Natalie G

This was a good hotel It had free breakfast every morning and lots of options Our room was nice and the hotel was in a good location

We were here for an extended stay and I asked multiple times for our room to have basic service, unfortunately it wasn’t serviced Not sure what the disconnect in communication is but we would stay here again because it’s close to family and the beach / pier Downtown Fairhope was way too crowded, this is perfect to be close but not in the crowds

Matt DeBlaey

The beds were fine, we reserved a single king room and ended up with two queen beds somehow Plus we were put by the exit door/steps They had water bending machines, but all took cash except the empty one

Cleanliness was lacking, if you want light grout, you gotta clean it The room wasn’t “dirty” but mold/ mildew in the shower was kinda gross

Going back and making it an annual family trip here Such a convenient location Everything is so pretty around to

Huge Bass Pro, eating, shopping and Adventure park all right down the hill! We took a small family trip and the staff was so friendly and nice that we are booked to go back! Even during no full breakfast, they provided small bags with breakfast items in it And has an unlimited coffee/tea bar downstairs Great price, great people!

Robert Smith

Stayed 2 nights in different rooms Once on the way and then return trip Both rooms were nasty

Dirt in the shower, carpet had stains, black hairs in the linens Wouldn’t stay here again if the only other option was my car in a rest stop 7 years ago it was perfect Today it’s a perfect disaster It’s abundantly clear that nobody cares here

Cahil Quirk

Stay here and the adjoining Courtyard hotel fairly often They are always clean and comfortable The staff are friendly and helpful

This visit I locked my keys in my vehicle, Angie got me a number for a lockout service and I was back on the road in 15 minutes The extra effort on her part is very much appreciated Please give her my thanks

We decided to give this place a try despite it’s rating…You can tell they tried with decor and presentation also staff was nice and helpful I get it that it’s a old building but come on The lobby was nicely decorated but the complementary water which looked nice had no cups

Then the hall ways were dark and hot with a strange smell The ice machine was broken The carpets looked very old and dirty The bathroom looked clean from a far but needed help Sink was leaking, mini fridge was warm The beds were hard and the pillows… Come on!!! They are so tiny The closet was very dark We didn’t eat at the restaurant because we heard it was awful I would give this place a 2 star but we did get to rest and it was quiet and safe I wouldn’t go back

Nice hotel in downtown Mobile 8 minute walk to Convention center on Water Street They do not have a parking garage

A separate valet parking company will serve you at the door for $25 per night It is easy to retrieve vehicle with text click I never had to wait Very efficient There is a nearby garage that says hotel $10 this is not actually the case for Admiral It is for the hotel across the street HOLIDAY Inn Express I think I had a wonderful corner room with a beautiful bath and plenty of room NO MICROWAVES They have a refrigerator My first night (Monday) I heard music all night long, but did not see or hear anything in the streets or hallway It must have been below me

Sandi Davis

We stayed two nights at The Admiral The room was nice The staff were very helpful and accommodating

I had requested a room on an upper floor because there was a wedding and a reunion at the hotel this weekend The beds were super comfortable, and we slept very well both nights The hotel is in a great location, and we walked to many restaurants, a candy store, and the history museum We will stay here again for a return trip to Mobile

We were looking forward to our stay at what seemed like a great hotel in s perfect locationWell the location was spot onOn arrival we thought we were in a warehouse

There were stacks and stacks of crates and cardboard boxes and a distinct smell of cardboard You could not see the foyer or corridor for theseReception staff were friendly at all timesOn arrival at our floor the trash can was overflowing and bags of trash piled up next to itHaving settled in, explored to find a concert happening Judy a short walk away at the riverside which the reception had no idea about, we came back to enjoy the views from the sky lounge Only to find it locked Peering through the glass door we got a peek of the amazing views but utter disappointment that we could not access themFollowing morning more trash along with flies and odour by the elevator We told reception and she said she would get it attended to (All trash and trash cans had been removed when we returned later)Asking about the sky lounge she said they had not got the staff to open it Seems they don’t have the staff to press the bed linen either!Overall a disappointing stay

Lyndsey Hollingsworth

Extremely friendly staff The entrance/lobby makes you feel like you’re staying in a 5 star hotel Our room was ok

I’m not sure how well they clean them We found a pair of glasses on the floor next to the bed, and a cigarette but on the headboard (Non-smoking room) The location is incredible, and perfect if you’re heading out on a cruise

Gunter Barton

The hotel was in a good location and within walking distance of plenty of food and drinksThe room was very large and the bed was very comfortableThe skyview lounge was closed and the pool was closed the first day, which we weren’t made aware of prior to booking

The pool isn’t as advertised in pictures It doesn’t have chairs around it

Very poor customer service “Vitoria” the evening receptionist was rude and shown zero skills on treating people, first of all she didn’t look at me at all when I asked if they had water “cases upon cases behind her” she pointed to the freezer and said $2 a piece, so I grabbed a couple of waters and some snacks when I placed the waters and snacks on top of the desk, she finally looked at us me holding a baby and my 2 older kids, didn’t greed us whatsoever, with a mean attitude she asked what is the room number? I said I’m paying, I gave my card and I asked for a receipt She swapped my card and said there is no receipt

I asked if she was having technical difficulties to print the receipt and she said no, without any explanation why no receipt, I asked for a supervisor and she said “I’m the only one here” At the mean time I was opening one of the waters but my baby didn’t want because it was too cold I asked if we could have one of the waters that was behind her desk and she said it is FREE for Diamond members ONLY! I asked , can you swap one of these that I paid for the one of the free ones that was outside of the freezer? She grabbed one of the cold waters I paid with attitude put down on her desk and gave me a nestle water, she did swap the paid water for the free water but she did gave me a very hard time Pretending she couldn’t hear me or understand me I know she could hear me!!! The worst experience I ever had I will never stay at home 2 again they obviously don’t know how to hire people My kids said mom what is wrong with that woman even the kids noticed her contempt towards me But to reinforce my decision in never step in a home 2 again, the morning I was happy to leave, she wasn’t there anymore but when I got a mug to have some coffee it had a dent and had lipstick on I took a photo to post on my review Because I value where I put my money, and any time I see that I waited my money I will give others heads up to not do the same!!! So if you care about customer service and cleaners DO NOT Stay at Home 2 !!!

Not up to Hilton standards and not worth the $325 (including pet fee) No carts available upon checkin and checkout My husband and I spent 40 mins trying to track down a cart to unload car

We were traveling with a small dog No carts on checkout this morning either Got up at 5:30am and waited in lobby until 7am, checked all the floors, walked around hotel trying to locate a cart Front desk advised that it’s a constant problem with carts that people keep in their rooms Hotel management should institute checkout policy if it’s a constant problem because currently it’s not fair for every guest, just the three guests who happen to take a cart a not return for everyone’s useRoom not clean Mold on shower curtain, front door deadbolt would not engage, dog found old battery under dishwasher, kitchen faucet coming out of hole and when you would engage lever to turn in water faucet fell to to side, pregnancy test found in bathroom drawer, candy wrapper by side of bed, tile in bathroom needed scrubbingQuiet room until three women decided to have a major chat/laugh session outside out door at 11pm Use the lobby!!Bed comfortable, but after issues with room questioning whether sheets where clean sheets because they were so wrinkled when I pulled to coverlet backUpon checkin hotel uses a floral sweet scent in lobby and hallway areas which is off-putting It was overwhelmingWe have had 30+ nights in hotels since October 2021 Have stayed at other Hilton Home2 SuitesManager took 1/2 off room, but the $100 pet fee should have been refunded! Our room was not deep cleaned and that’s what the $100 is supposedly used for to deep clean pet rooms after a pet has stayed Huge money grab!!!

I highly recommend Jubilee Suites The property and views are stunning! Our room was clean and very comfortable The communication with the property owners, Jim and Dana was super appreciated as they helped us plan our trip before arrival and during our stay

My husband and I both loved the “creature comforts” provided Our room was stocked with coffee, tea, sodas, filtered water, snacks, chocolates, and details about the area We did not want for anything during our stay You will not be disappointed!

Jubilee is a hidden gem within the gem of Fairhope Cannot say enough about the friendliness of the staff and other guests or the beauty of the suites and the grounds So much to do on site, much less within a few minutes drive

Kayaking, biking, fishing Our 9 and 12 year old did not want to leave either Sunsets on the bluff are fabulous and seemed to last forever Also the great breakfast is a nice touch Will definitely be back on our next trip

It was truly Grand From the Front Desk (Vicki and Tiffany are ALWAYS AMAZING and so welcoming!) to the pool and recreation staff (the recreation attendant during the 3pm activity on 8/14/22 was exceptional!- so sorry I forgot his name) to even the event staff (we love Mrs Georgia in Banquets!) Everyone was so awesome

The room we had was in the main building and it was beautiful and so, so clean! Kudos to all Housekeeping Staff!!!! They are doing wonderful! We have been once prior to this month since the renovation and then would come before that beginning in the 90’s Everyone we came in contact with was so impressive with their professionalism, sincerity, and true Grand hospitality Working in Hospitality, I truly understand the ups and down of this amazing industry It is awesome to know the Grand still holds the high standard after so many years I can go on and on but I wanted to just reiterate the excellence the staff upholds for all guests that walk through those beautiful front doors

The Grand Hotel is actually a sprawling complex of guest rooms located in a beautiful complex of flowers, walking pathways, pools, spa, and a sandy beach The area is large and could rival any botanical garden with it’s beauty They fire a cannon everyday at 4:00 as a celebratory salute to it’s history and our great military

The ceremony starts at 3:45 The golf course and tennis courts are superb, the restaurants, 6 of them, are very elegant There is too much to cover here, their website is very informative I love it here, the people, the scenery, everything about this place makes you want to never leave

Gina “Huntsville Realtor” Terry

The Grand Hotel is so impressive from the moment you drive into the property The grounds are beautifully manicured and cared for The staff are very caring and attentive to your every need

We only experienced one staff member who was indifferent, and they could have been having a bad day We received exceptional service from Amy, our room attendant She had the most beautiful smile, fantastic attitude and took great care of our needs The one disappointment we experienced was the food We tried several restaurants on site and none of them were great I’ve kept my rating at 5 stars because I am aware of the challenges that COVID and staffing issues have presented I would definitely come back and enjoy this gorgeous resort again!!!

I have stayed at this hotel several times between 2020 and most recently on the 10th of June 2022 I have stayed at the same room each time, however this last time there was no power in the master bedroom of room 416 I requested that they reduce the cost of the overnight stay since the master bedroom didn’t have any electricity in it

I was charged 14100 in total with taxes included Maintenance came to try and fix the problem but couldn’t figure out why there was no power in the room No night stand lights, no electricity to the TV, the room wall electrical sockets and the telephone didn’t work either

First the good

rt off HWY on the way to Destin The service was non existant, so wouldn’t be able to comment The rooms were old, filthy and reeked off cigarette smoke Shower and floor had black hair all over it Was disgusting Basically just crashed there for one night and got out as quickly as possible the next AM Didn’t even bother checking out the breakfast
