All in all a very pleasant stay Freshly renovated this Venetian themed Holiday Inn has a lot to offer From the warm reception at the front desk to the pool and sun deck

A Starbucks in the hotel, breakfast made to order, & a bar w dinner options The area seems to be going through a rejuvenation with new construction and flowering trees You can tell that they are diligently making an effort to improve the area Quick access to highway 🛣 I had a large room with a great view of pool & sundeck Like 👍🏼 & follow for more adventures ✨️ Travel well 47Million views and counting 😊Thank you 😊

It’s what you would expect from Holiday Inn Decent rate with a good room My only complaint are the curtain styles that they use, they don’t block all the light in the morning

Other than that, the The bed was very comfortable and the room was a good size and clean The best part is it’s located right next to a movie theater and a bunch of restaurants and places to eat

Kirk

The room was clean and comfortable The breakfast was great However, at about 9pm our smoke alarm started chirping everyone minute or so

The front desk person said they could have someone fix it the next day When I pointed out that I wouldn’t be able to sleep, I was told to remove the battery myself I pointed out that was a safety issue and they gave me a battery I had to stand on a rolling desk chair to figure out how to change it I’m lucky I didn’t break my neck The new battery didn’t fix the problem so I was told to totally disconnect it This seems to be a HUGE safety issue for everyone in the hotel Also, how is it that they have nobody on staff at night to handle basic things like this?

Check in and check out were simple and fast since I was prepaid for a weekend workshop The room was large and clean The king sized bed was very comfortable and the hotel meals were very good

The only negative things were that the ice machine on my floor was out of order and though the TV was nice and large, it didn’t get all the channels on the menu

Nakisha Juarez

I just wanted to express my appreciation for your staffI want to specifically recognize Louis who checked me in and was so kind and accommodating as I checked in at 1amMy upgraded room is just perfect for my stay as I will have quite a few office accessories during my 18 day stay

Printers, monitors, laptops, easels, etc This stay will be packed with work seven days a week and having a space that is comfortable to work in is paramount I’ve stayed here a few times before and the customer service and cleanliness never disappoints!!!Louis went above and beyond making sure I had everything I needed upon my early AM check in Thank you Louis, the hospitality industry needs more people like you!!!107 days so far this year and looking forward to adding 18 more at the San Ramon Marriott!

Excellent location, great service, delectable restaurant, and veritable amenities make this Marriott location a great spot to lay your head down for a night or few Entry to the hotel is beautifully nestled between trees and hedges The staff at the hotel are extremely helpful and checked me in without a hitch

The room was clean and the temperature ambient The room has ample media options with the ability to log into your Netflix or Amazon Prime account The hotel has a restaurant where you can dine in or place orders to take back to your room (room service still has not resumed at the hotel) The hotel has good internet connection and plenty of parking The location is convenient as there is a target and a mixed-use development with shops and restaurants within walking distance The gym has good equipment and a sauna room A relaxing outdoor seating area next to the pool complements the existing amenities at the hotel Overall, my stay was great, and the hotel is a great option if you are going to be in the area for a short stint or an extended time

It is a great facility, nice receptionistsBut the biggest complaint is that there was no security I was coming from LA for grad school and planned on staying at the hotel before moving into my apartment

I had very expensive valuables like my computer and colognes and other items sitting in my carThe following night my car was broken into from the rear windows and was robbed of my valuablesUnion city is really a garbage city I had called the police and they didn’t show up The hotel had surveillance cameras but then told me they weren’t functioning There should be a security guard in a city like thisThis was my introduction to union city I have noticed there are a lot of shady characters walking behind the hotelI did not stay safe at this hotel and left the following day to the HamptonThere was a sign that said don’t keep items in the car but it wasn’t as obvious I obviously wasn’t looking for a sign and I knew nothing of this city I did not expect this was going to happenHonestly consider looking elsewhere for a hotel!!

This hotel is always clean and most important comfortable Nice towels super comfy beds and some rooms have a small couch and nice desk area I’d recommend staying here anytime your within 20 miles of this location and need a decent place to stay

Be ware parking is free but don’t leave anything visible in the car, car break ins occur in this area are frequent

Joseph Avins

My standards are modest, yet the nicer a place is overall, the more small shortcomings stand out This place is very nice overall, so here are a couple of minor shortcomings The breakfast is cooked to order, which is great

But on my first morning I was in a bit of a hurry, so I’d rather have had a grab and go option On the other morning I left time for breakfast; I ordered my eggs over medium and the whites were runny anyhow, and the toast was only toasted on one side The TV service was very limited, like something out of the 90s but wide screen (That’s becoming a pet peeve with me, nice hotels with lousy TVs) To be clear, everything else was terrific

The room was clean and spacious Had an iron and ironing board, steamer, as well as a safe A few drawers

I wish there were more hangers There’s a small fridge, a little coffee machine/typical little hotel tea/coffee setup Big mirror was nice Whole hotel has a nice aesthetic per usual for aloftShower has two pumps: 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner and body wash Next to the sink, there’s Drybar soap and lotionI really enjoyed having a little corner bench and table, though I know some guests may prefer a desk I agree with some other reviews that the lights are a little too muchThe light switch includes bathroom and entry but entry lights up the whole room and bathroom is close/very bright The windows offer two options: roll cover down or full on see-through window I don’t know if you can see into the rooms from the outside but it made me uncomfortable so I kept them coveredThe room temperature is fine but it’s noisyUpstairs guests were stomping around for a while every now and again It’s easy to hear neighboring rooms and people talking in the hallway Not as bad as some other places I’ve stayed inThe room lock was a little wonky and it’s hard to push the door handle to get into the roomThere’s an ice machine on every floorThe laundry room is on the fourth floor and requires quarters $2/wash, $2/dry and worked fine One of the dryers was out of service The light switch in there might control the whole hallway of lights I touched a switch out of habit and the hallway went pitch black Not sure why this is guest accessibleElevators are a little slow but work fineThere are signs saying masks are required in public areas but that wasn’t enforced at all and I did not see a single staff member wearing a maskI didn’t visit the gym, pool, or bar but I saw other guests visit those amenities and they seemed pleased

When I checked in on the APP in advance, I was notified that I will receive the mobile key that I requested as soon as my room is ready I requested the check in time of 4:00PM while the earliest check in time is 3:00pm When I did not get the mobile key, prior to arriving to the Hotel, I called the front desk and explained that I am in a rush to get to my room and get ready for a wedding I was attending and I was told that the key will be sent to me in a few minutes

I called back after I did not receive anything, and were told that they were not able to find my cell number (who believes that??) to tell me that they were not able to issue the mobile key until I give them the credit card number and my ID and that’s despite the fact that the credit card number has been provided at the time of booking and I could see on the reservation confirmation that the card is on file (last 4 digits showing) I was reassured that it will be very quick, when I specifically asked if there is a line or going to take a long time to check in when I get there and give them the credit card in person Disappointingly, the same front desk staff that I talked to on the phone,( The name could be provided upon request) first attempts to talk me into upgrading my room when I get there 30 min after my scheduled check in time, so obviously in a hurry; when I decline, she tells me that she does not have a room ready I asked for a supervisor which she refused and stated that a supervisor could not do anything other than what she was doing When I said that she could have told me the room was not ready when I explained my situation on the phone, she told me that she does not appreciate my attitude and I am not being respectful!?!?!? We finally get to our room, still no mobile key though, over an hour later than the original time to an AC which is almost dying, making such frightening noise that we have to turn it off immediately before it blows off We decided not to deal with the staff any more and since we were staying only one night, spent the night without the AC We checked out on mobile app next morning to avoid having to stop by at the front desk

DO NOT STAY HERE! I stayed here with my family 4th of July weekend I was charged three time for one stay I called and was told they didn’t make any mistake from Holly

I sent them credit card statement and was told they would get back to me No one ever called me back and they won’t respond back Very unprofessional! Beware you’ve been warned!

Do not stay here if you have any sort of mobility issues The one elevator is in the far corner of the compound and it’s a very large hotel as far as land area goes The clerks will NOT offer to put you on a first floor or anywhere near the elevator

I wasn’t even warned when checking in about how far the walk was The “restaurant” if you can call it that has four different coffees and a sandwich Also, they don’t serve lunch or dinner on weekends I’ve been to a food truck with a better selection Also, there is nothing complimentary here, not even coffee Won’t be staying here again Very dissatisfied with this stay

Christina McJimsey

Found 3 roaches in one room The lady that came asked “can you kill them” I understand because the room was next to the door The lady asked us so many questions before saying I will find another room

The other room had one I killed it and went about my business The gym set up is nice Beds are comfortable the products set up is good I think if the lady was more like I’m sorry let’s move you instead of making excuses There is a 50/50 chance I’d go back

Christine Muratore Evans

Our room was broken into The entry was made through the pool side sliding door We had checked the door and left a light on in the room before we left

Cash and a HSA card was taken from my purse which was in our suitcase under clothing I am responsible for my choice to leave my purse in the room however it is reasonable to expect adequate security/ locks from a reputable hotel such as Marriott Bonvoy establishments This breach not only compromised the safety of our property but could have put us in harm way had we been in the room or entering it There is little doubt, for me, this has happened before It is paramount for the hotel to take this seriously and install proper locks It is more than unfortunate we had this experience It has triggered my concern for other guest’s well-being

I like the mature trees planted around the complex We brought our 2 small dogs and there was lots of places to walk them Lots of parking spaces

The one bedroom was clean but a bit cramped Studios are more spacious even though they have the same square footage The bathrooms are updated I love the blackout curtains, I feel well rested after a good night’s sleepThey serve just regular breakfast everyday The eating area is bright and spaciousWe stayed for one week and our room was cleaned only once and I had to request for it! No one comes to clean everyday so kitchen trash builds up that I had to throw trash in the garbage bins outside The fire alarm went off in our building My husband and son ran out but no one came to tell them what happened or if it was okay to return back inside the building

The Pleasanton Residence Inn is an older building but well done remodeling Large, comfortable room An actual seating area plus large desk

Nice kitchenette with dishwasher Well stocked with dishes, pots and pans I like that most of the rooms have a large stall shower instead of a tub shower Great service Easy to access, convenient to 2 main highways, shopping of all kinds just minutes away I just wish it wasn’t literally right next to the highway Traffic noise was not obvious in the room even facing the highway, but step out back and the noise was very obviousRecommended for the longer stay if you plan to do some of your own cooking Nice breakfast options provided and included

Sylvan M

I don’t ever write reviews for places, let alone hotels, but I wanted to go out of my way to shout out two people at the hotel, Vanessa and Wilbert at the front desk Vanessa went out of her way multiple times to help me get a room that I’d like, especially since I was staying longer-term In addition she was so kind, professional, and warm

Management: if she qualifies for any kind of raise or bonus, she deserves it She made my stay much better Same with Wilbert–went above and beyond to help me and was kind, warm, and helpful Both were wonderful and I feel grateful to them–thank youI stayed at this Residence Inn for close to 2 months, from mid October to early December The hotel is recently renovated (and they were still doing some improvements while I was there) to be more sleek and contemporary The breakfast was pretty good–best of many extended stay hotels I’ve stayed in the last 6 months Every day there were scrambled eggs, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit, plus fresh pastries and waffles, and a rotation of different breakfast sausage/bacon/etc every day The ladies who work the breakfast were lovely, I never caught any of their names, but they were friendly and kind Thank you!

Stayed here because I was looking for a place that had a complimentary breakfast I wasn’t totally familiar with the area and wasn’t sure how far the restaurants would be Location was great

Saved me about $40-50 in restaurants and Uber/Lyft fees daily just on breakfast alone! Rooms were clean and had everything I needed Was able to catch up on much needed rest

Tamara Desanto

The pool was green And was never cleaned even after they said they would The reason for this stay was the pool

Very disappointing 😞 Also I never had any housekeeping checking in on if we wanted the room cleaned I had to retrieve my own items for the room The housekeeping never once cleared out my garbage I was staying there for a week

Dave Neeley

The hotel is in a nice business park Costco is around the corner We could see a vineyard just half a mile away

There was a mixup with our reservation but the front desk worked it out

Good place to stay for an apartment style hotel visit I think it’s great for families who want to be able to cook a little something during their stay or great way to split costs on by sharing a 2 bedroom apartments Most people seem to be business visitors though

The two bedroom suites are spaced well and each room has its own shower, bed, and desk The beds are great, and room service was good Front desk was nice The morning breakfast is great There is an omelette bar, hot foods, cold quick grab and eats, and a good selection of teas Coffee is available as well It has close access to 580E and a bunch of shops nearby The only negative is it is just like an apartment so you can hear your neighbor from time to time The stay was pretty quiet but definitely got noticably louder when the weekend crowd arrived Be sure to call for your booking if you plan on using a company discount It’s a headache online

Janet Williams

Beautiful place to stay, very clean love the separate bedroom, the kitchen was very clean and we parked right in front of our room Staff very friendly and professional The snack section in the lobby had a great selection, small Digiorno pizza

Lean cuisines, Amy’s enchilada, lots of good frozen food selection for a quick meal, lots of cold water bottles Sodas and other snacks Great clean place to stay in a beautiful part of town, would stay again

Mr And Mrs Pinkard

If you’re going to spend time in this area, I would suggest making reservations here Enjoyed engagement with the front desk staff and certainly hope they were willing to go out of their way to get my wife and I to our room quickly While the only thing I wished were different was a shuttle to the airport, I understand that the distance from the airport matters with gas prices as they are

Overall enjoyed my stay as expected While staying at the Hyatt place in Dublin However It was 5am and had just stepped out of my room Sitting in the lobby waiting for breakfast, I was approached by a woman who asked if I stayed here I was asked repeatedly and required to prove it

She then went on to tell me the breakfast hours and so on which I then concluded she works here I stoped her to mentioned that I actually was a former employee and I knew the breakfast hours a light conversation starter at the least, she walked away and then just watched me for an hour and a half from her computerI was clearly profiled by the night audit at the front deskThe other staff were pleasant as always lots of familiar faces it was great to see you all And especially Juliet and Rebecca although they didn’t know me they were very nice! It was wonderful meeting and chatting with you! Thank you for your hospitality! The other who never even introduced herself by name or as a gallery host was Completely unprofessional and it was on multiple occasions she made me feel uncomfortableTo the unknown woman I wish you peace and courage! A wise man said “courage and fear cannot occupy the same space, but courage cannot exist without fear!”I had to ask another employee her name and I kid you not it’s Karen!Would be 5 stars but I had to edit my review after our last encounter

Fernando Lopez

A little bit disappointed, I am staying here for 2 weeks and it the very first time for me a hotel does not have laundromat for guests I will give this place 1star Breakfast started late, they don’t have decaf coffee it’s a horrible disaster

They charge extra for parking, they clean the rooms every 4 days unless you request different and you have to do it every day I don’t recommend this placeI will add that I spent 2 weeks there as per my company, in 2 weeks they only cleaned the room 3 times If my company sends me back for any reason, I will refuse being there I will just go somewhere else

Location! Location! Location! It is conveniently located next to Dumbarton bridge and easy access to 880 The rooms are decent The staff is friendly

I have spent many nights at this location and the biggest issue we have ran into was housekeeping After putting in a request for our room to be cleaned, it took about 3 days for housekeeping to finally come and clean our room This wasn’t an isolated incident This happened on multiple occasionsThe rooms need maintenance One time our heater was working but the AC was not The other time we had to change rooms because the toilet wouldn’t flushThe elevator also needs some kind of maintenance It’s scary! It shakes and rattles

Matt Slatter

The first room they put us in smelled horrible like someone dumped tons of powdered carpet cleaner everywhere Infact the whole second floor smelled like this to the point that your eyes and sinuses start shutting down after a few minutes The front desk was helpful and moved us to a new room

The rooms are the cheapest low grade rooms I’ve ever seen in a Marriott w plastic fixtures and hospital type lights that come on at sink and bathroom The beds were decent AC controls are in the wall unit and tan either too cold or off Would never stay here again

The location for our family gathering in Danville was great, and it’s the best price for a hotel with free breakfast, parking, mini-fridge, microwave, and WiFi The pool is heated (really warm!) and was small but fit 9 or 10 people in it just fine to splash around for a bit The breakfast was hot and varied each day, and the toppings for the waffles were delicious (walnuts, coconut, raisins, chocolate, etc

) It was a nice place for our family of 5, and although there were a few little things that could be fixed (shower curtain rod was loose in the drywall), we were happy with our stay The inner garden-facing room was quiet and smoke-free We’d be happy to stay here again

Pete Keay

Great place to rest Rooms are always clean, the beds comfortable and the personnel a notch or two above average Always friendly front desk persons who are willing to go above and beyond to service your needs as a guest

The location is good -easy access to freeways and mass transit – close by shopping centers and a Lucky supermarket with adjacent CVS drugstore Only caveat I have is the breakfast – limited choices, eggs & potatoes frequently tasteless and cold

TIUN Champion

I like being able to see my vehicle The diner is very good and there’s a 24 hour gas station in the lot next to the hotel The pet fee is $20 a day per pet which isn’t bad at all

There is a park right across the block and a long trail The pools closed but all in all it’s very clean and is nice and quiet The staff here do a really good job and the place is very well kept

The wife and I stayed on a Friday and Saturday night Friendly check in Young lady got us a room facing the garden area, very nice

Nice pool, although the hot tub is closed for repairs Paid ten dollars extra (in advance) for the breakfast, but it was for a very basic American breakfast, not the fancy buffet which would have cost more The bedding and pillow were super comfortable Had dinner at the hotel restaurant Excellent food, good value, served quickly Good neighborhood Lots of restaurants in the immediate area, as well as two shopping malls within 10 minutes drive

Great hotel for the price Clean and modern and located in a great spot Felt safe and no problems coming and going at night

Plenty of parking Pool was decent sized, not sure how long the jacuzzi is expected to be closed for repairs Breakfast buffet ($25) is nice, but pricey Lamp on nightstand was too dim to use for reading so I had to drag the floor lamp next to the bed Was surprised at how cramped the bathroom is:/ Also, down comforter should have a duvet cover, it is not sanitary to have guests share this without any cover!!! YUCK!!!

My room was so quiet! It was clean and welcoming The lobby was clean and welcoming The staff at the front desk where some of the best i have had met in the last few months coming through hotels (yes i travel alot)

I didn’t use any of the amenities, but I saw some kids coming from the pool and they where all smiles which made me smileThis would be a hotel I would recommend and also return to

Love it here great staff and perfect location its so nice to have a full size fridge and cook top in the room laundry onsite and nice spacious bathroom bedroom and the couch bed for the little guy two TV’s and good size table to eat and prepare food perfect spot to get away with a 1st grader and at a reasonable price couldn’t be more pleased Only reason not a five star is there is always room for new surprises Love it here would recommend to everyone

Ok after coming several times I have run into my first problem it seems the police like to cruise the parking lot running plates then sit on the street and wait for you to leave and pull you over the harassment alone has detoured my last two bookings somewhere else I was really feeling this place until then🤦🤷😔

This is by far the worst hotel experience I have had in my entire life Starting from the rude staff to the disgusting room to the difficulty of getting cancellation for my second night! Starting from check in the girl at the front desk was so rude and lying (saying there were no more rooms although it mentioned otherwise on their website and expedia or booking, the exact same room! This ended up to be the manager) Ended up getting a disgusting room with spider webs on the bathroom walls, food on the floor, stains and holed on the sofa bed mattress, holes in the curtains, even the tv remote was missing buttons

There was paper work in our room in the bathroom when we checked in!! So obviously this room was never cleaned before we set foot in it! We went and told the manager and she said sorry thats it! We felt disgusted in this room, unsafe and we spent a horrible night trying to get through with expedia to cancel the second night because we were not sleeping a second night in this! The hotel and expedia both gave us a very hard time over this both mentioning that the other has the upper hand and we didn’t sleep even a couple of hours I paid for a worst night ever and even then when I cancelled the second night the hotel insisted that they were never contacted by expedia and expedia is saying the oppositie Such a terrible experience I would not ever recommend this hotel to anyone and especially if you have kids!!

I was in town for a wedding and this hotel was referred by bride and groom

Great hotel! Angie was the best! So kind and helpful! :)Manager as well! They were friendly! We had plenty of laughs at the front desk! 🤣 Very pleasant stay! Rooms were clean, housekeepers were nice, they’re pet friendly, and still adhere to masks policy which I love because I still wear my mask! If you’re searching for a hotel and you’re in the area, definitely choose Hilton Garden Inn Livermore!

Easy access to freeway yet far enough to be quiet at the hotel The entire hotel, including our room, was very clean, bright and furnished nicely Took Covid seriously with sanitation protocols followed carefully (the most readily available hand-sanitizer I’ve seen at ANY establishment)

Staff was available and professional The elevator was a little small and the beds a little too high, but I would still recommend this Hilton for value, quietness, and comfort

Bob Duca

Very unfriendly staff I wanted some milk one night and was refused I walked across the street to a Hampton Inn, explained my issue and they GAVE me two at no charge

Also, the restaurant and bar were closed At 200 dollars per night, it was one of the worst hotel deals I ever made The clerk on duty, initials MP, was in real need of some training TERRIBLE Next stay in Livermore will be at the Hampton Hilton should reevaluate their inadequate staff and provide the best service possible for their customers, especially charging too much

Extremely pleased with the room Terrific shower with great water pressure, the best toilet of any hotel I’ve visited and the room was freshly remodeled with a modern feel I found a bed to be comfortable and the desk was great to work from

Only minor grievances I had was you could slightly hear the people walking in the room above you owe that could very well be inconsiderate occupants I’d also like to see a master switch at the door to turn off all the lightsOverall I was very pleased I will definitely use this hotel again

sam graydon

Everything is great, nice and clean Only problem is the morning coffee situation Apparently coffee used to be complimentary but now they’re charging for it, which is fine I guess but every time you go to get a coffee you have to ask someone at the front desk and it takes them like ten minutes to figure out where the cups, creamer, etc are

Every other hotel I’ve ever stayed at treats coffee like a staple – here for some reason it’s way too complicated

Thalia Oliver

I CALLED THIS LOCATION AND ASKED ABOUT MY RETURNING DEPOSIT SINCE IT HAS BEEN 2 WEEKS AND I HAVE NOT RECEIVED $0 DEPOSIT BACK IF YOU PAY WITH A DEBIT CARD the employee Jeremy QUOTED IT TAKES 1-2 months of a return of a $100 deposit??? I wonder if this is illegal I don’t recommend this hotel as they are getting interest off people deposit

The room was clean along with the common areas The location of the hotel was easy to get in and out of with a short drive to the interstate and a stones throw from Starbucks, fuel stations, and a short drive to various dining options Stayed in the hotel for a wedding weekend and the staff were accommodating

The continental breakfast isn’t anything special but I had no problem finding something to eat Plenty of options The options changed daily They would serve an egg option of sorts, a potato, and usually some sausage They would also rotate between waffles, pancakes, and french toast There are also lighter options with fruit, yogurt, and bagelsI didn’t get a chance to use the pool It’s an outdoor heated pool I heard it looked nice Overall I recommend this hotel for a fair rate and nice rooms that seemed to have been updated recently Water pressure for the shower was lacking at times but the newer shower was clean and not damaged I plan on staying at the hotel again

Lttldevl0

We absolutely loved our room and the front desk was very helpful with recommending doordash for pizza delivery And we really enjoyed being able to get coffee any time of day or night They had a grab and go breakfast which we really enjoyed other than you have to take it to your room to heat up this sandwich or the burrito

If you are planning to actually grab and go Make sure you have access to a microwave The beds were really comfortable and and for a hotel really quiet The lobby was very clean and I loved the smell of the hallways it didn’t smell stale If you’re going out this way I would highly recommend staying here

Grace Garcia

If I could give zero stars I would This was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at It felt like a horror movie scene

The bathroom was so nasty Blood or vomit all over the toilet bowl Sheets on the bed smelled and we’re not wash They switched us rooms to a more “updated room” and the handle for the shower faucet was broken Send an email to the manager of this hotel over a week ago and still no response Disgusting place never staying here again
