Our overall stay was good I appreciate the location because it was very quiet with just enough convenience The room was very clean and modern

We did however come across a few kinks For starters, the water pressure was extremely low This made showering very uncomfortable The shower curtain was pretty torn and needed to be replaced The bathroom door was loose and often rattled when opening/closing The outer refrigerator door came off the hinge when my son opened it Aside from these things, the staff was pretty amazing Very accommodating and pleasant Heather stood out because she was very sweet and didn’t mind that my son asked for more cookies during checkout

Phoenicia Malcom

Very nice hotel Was very clean Smooth check in

The elevators kept closing on us getting in so may need an upgrade Rooms are very spacious The bed was comfortable to my liking The breakfast isn’t free unless you buy with reservations so the buffet was $20 a person which was kind of high for what was available Overall pleased with stay No real issues

Sharell Thomas

The front desk associates were Fantastic Great customer service When I entered my room it had a stuffy smell to it so I Lysol it down and it got better

I am not sure why this is but this hotel didn’t have microwaves in the rooms but only one microwave for the whole hotel to use I understand that may be to give the hotel restaurant more business but that doesn’t work for me Thank you to whoever cooks the breakfast It was really tasty Overall my stay here was Good and I will return here when I have another event in the area and have to stay overnight

Hotel is just across from mall which is great Its upscale and kept spotless Staff is friendly and courteous but lacking the full upscale expected

We were upgraded to a suite that was really nice but it lacked simple things like a coffee maker without a sink Had to go in the bathroom for water, yuckWe are Elite Marriott members and had to push to get a suite that we are entitled to Breakfast was free to us because of status but if not $49+ and although in chafing dishes the food was dry, cold and did not taste fresh Overall disappointed

I got this hotel through Hotwire I didn’t know it was even an option because it did not show as part of which hotel I would likely get Anyway, the hotel is very nice and all

However, the only downfall was the paying for parking, Locked fridge in the room which I was almost afraid to put my drinks in because I wasn’t sure if I would be charged for it My daughter was scared to use the shower gel that was provided afraid we would be charged for that To top it off the worst of my stay really was the smell of the room, the sound of the toilets flushing (if that’s what it was), and the noise of steam or air all night/morning long so I couldn’t sleep (light sleeper) The bathroom door in our room you basically had to bump up against it to close or it wouldn’t shut For this hotel to be this fancy I guess I expected different Yes, I would have rather stayed in the Hampton Inn or even the Comfort in, but you get what you get At least I would have likely been able to sleep Overall the hotel is nice, but all the noises in the room was just not that great

Jerome

Staff very personable and professional Every staff that I came in contact with was very friendly The rooms were clean and very spacious

We were there for an afternoon wedding We were accommodated for an early check-in Much appreciated The gym was exceptional Certainly enjoyed the quiet moments out by the pool Overall it was a great experience Certainly will stay again

We stayed here one night with our son Everything seemed clean The pool was warm and there was a breakfast buffet

If the breakfast was edible I would have given it 5 stars but even though they had waffles, eggs (scrambled, omelette and boiled), bacon, yogurt, fruit and milk some of the items had a weird taste We went to Einstein Bagel’s close by If you don’t have a budget for breakfast you won’t starve! Also, the coffee was kind of bad If they were able to improve the breakfast to something the staff would even want to eat everyday it would be amazing! I guess I’m focusing on the breakfast because that was the only issue there was But I would stay here again regardless Overall, I found people in Atlanta to be very friendly and not overly concerned about CDC recommendations pretty much everywhere we went

Krishna Juluri

The location was excellent The customer service was excellent, the staff were always there to answer any questions or fulfill any requests Within the means this hotel is great but when I compare this to other Fairfield locations the rooms here need a lot of attention(finishings, paint, cracked tiles etc

) A very genuine effort was made by the staff to provide a great breakfast but for someone who stays more than a day the hot options need to be real

Janice G

Nice location, safe, clean, quiet, good night’s rest, conveniet to restaurants and attractions, and friendly staff It is a bit older location so not quite as up to date as newer locations Our coffee pot in the room did not work and since we had to leave at 5 a

m we had to get coffee elsewhere and also left before the breakfast offered with our room was available (maybe at 6:30?)

Your Kind of Beautiful J. Turner

We drove eight hours and had booked since early February We had to wait for 3 o’clock check-in I was really tired and just wanted to rest in a great hotel room

To my horror the Room was absolutely deplorable It had roaches It was so dirty The bathroom had broken molding around the floor The toilet was dirty with brown spots on the seat All of the cabinets and doors had fingerprints all over them The dishwasher and refrigerator showed smear marks and drips The tables were sticky and dirty The assistant manager RaKeem, even after seeing everything, did not offer another room and also acted as if he did see everything that was being shown to him Unbelievable! The refrigerator had a broken shelf The drawers were sticky and dirty After the assistant manager’s reaction I wanted the room to be cleaned in front of me That manager left before all was resolved He never contacted me after that evening to see if everything was resolved and if everything was okay I have pictures and videos of everything I finally spoke with a real manager who saw the pictures and videos

Lyndsey Gainey

The facility was nice and clean with complimentary breakfast that was definitely decent for early risers Don’t sleep in you will miss it The pool is cold

My daughter didn’t mind but my boyfriend and I did If you book with third party make sure they redo the room rates before checking you in or else you will be out of that money until someone fixes it

Silly Sammy

Worst hotel experience ever Arrived around 10pm (way past 3pm check in time) and was told the room I already booked and paid for was not available They offered me a smaller room with only one bed, which would not fit my party of 5

When I explained this would not work for us, she said she would double check on the room I booked Apparently it isn’t that the room wasn’t available as in booked, it was that it had not been cleaned and serviced She said that she would go and do it herself for us At first, I was pleased with the front desk staff because she made it seem as if she was making an effort to make it right It was getting late and I had three kids with me We waited in the lobby for her to come back She even made the statement that she gave us fresh towels and apologized Upon entering the room, I could tell that the beds had just been quickly made But she isn’t the housekeeping lady so I didnt think much of it and don’t care about tight corners on my bed sheets (You can see what I mean in the photo I took of my daughter when we first got there) I was just happy we had somewhere to sleep at that point The next day when helping my 7 year old daughter shower, I took a towel that was folded on the back of the toilet to place it on the floor and noticed it was stained No big deal It was going on the floor The next towel I planned to wrap around my daughter It was already damp and also stained At that point, i noticed a wet, dirty rag folded in between them These were all dirty towels and rags Its like thry were picked up off the floor and placed for us to use Absolutely disgusting At this point, I don’t believe they were even clean sheets on the bed the night before, merely put back together from the previous guests I was told they would credit me half off but received a bill of full payment Here I am a week later with strep throat, which I have no doubt I got from sleeping in a used, unsanitary room This day and age with Covid, that is ridiculous, reckless and unsafe Pure disgusting Not work $500 for 2 days The fridge in the room didn’t even work and the numbers in the AC unit on the wall were half blank so you had to guess the temp Go somewhere else

Seriously? We can’t help ourselves at the breakfast counter? Keeping people from helping themselves to breakfast does NOTHING to stop COVID Just another way I feel these types of hotels are being cheap I took a star off for this

However, everything else was as expected I loved the double opening windows in my room Everything was fairly clean and in good condition Shower drained a little slow, but other than that, no issues

Square Bidness Presents Ed Memphis

Horrible Experience with the Front Desk Lady on 6/27/22 around 10:30pm After leaving my sick wife at the hospital I stopped by this place to spend time with family who came here to assist me in urgent times

When I got to the door, no one was at the desk & I dropped all of my bags to speak into the door glass to get help When no one heard my calls I knocked on the door hard enough to make sure someone heard me but certainly not hard enough to be destructive When the lady finally heard me, she YELLED at me “You need to stop banging on the door!” She asked where my key was & I informed her I was visiting someone She never asked who I was visiting & simply left me outside holding my bags until my family came down stairs That was extremely humiliating & belittling to leave someone outside & refuse to even let them come to the desk to figure out my purpose for being there I was then made aware that this same lady is known for having a disrespectful tone & bad customer service & she is still there The tone in which she treated me was clearly racially related I will NEVER spend a dime at this classless establishment

Sister and I stopped in April We love that it was a newer hotel We got parking that was quite close to the door

The lady who worked the front desk was super super nice We were checking in late from a long drive The hotel looks really clean Our room was super clean Our beds were comfortable The restaurant was closing soon by time we got there, so we just ordered from a different restaurant before arriving We definitely wouldn’t mind coming back to this place

Jessica Gray

Water pressure is as a little low but so far my experience has been amazing! Janice was so friendly and had excellent customer service skills She was the only one working the front desk and still was still friendly, kind and helpful! Breakfast was very good! It was different than other holiday inns they have grits, fresh cut fruit, French toast, scrambled eggs and more! Grits were really good Only warning is breakfast is not free unless it says it is included on your reservation

megan stallion

clean rooms and comfy beds the check in and out process was a breeze free and easy parking is a plus

it was quiet and relaxing during our stay and the location was convenient for our activities we didn’t get a chance to visit the rooftop restaurant or pool only thing I have to say is the A/C is either too hot or too cold other than that, I loved it and will def be returning

Nice Hotel overall! Hot Breakfast with plenty of selection Room was cleanish however there was room for improvement, Several Spots that could have used more dusting but other than that not too bad Would have been nice to have a microwave in my room instead of having to walk all the way down to the lobby just to use the microwave

Other than that though everything was great, Pool was nice and warm and staff were very friendly and were very helpful and accommodating to my needs Would stay again!

Luciana Smalls

The staff is friendly and helpful The TV worked for two nights and then stopped working A staff from the front desk attempted to correct the issue earlier in the day; however, when I called the front desk later in the evening, the only option offered was to change the room which was after 8 PM at night

I did not want to pack up and move to the other room I understand there is no maintenance person on site I appreciate the free breakfast; however, the food was cold both morning The hotel is located in a beautiful area and nearby there are shopping stores and restaurants It is located close to the city My family enjoyed the pool The bed was comfortable On my way to check out, there was no one there I dropped the card off and left I was disappointed overall with my experience

Julianne X

It’s not the staffs fault that this hotel needs some updating! The carpet had a lot of stains, the furniture chipping, doors also very worn along the bottom One other issue was the absence of front desk staff at times and no one answering the phone promptly, until I called three times and just let it ring until someone answered! That was on Fri May 6 in the early afternoon This was not the weekend if one wanted to relax quietly

There was reportedly a large birthday party Plenty of noise, talking, cussing, children running up and down the hall very late in the night And all the talking and carrying on from the floor beneath me was bothersome My next door neighbor must have been partially deaf because the sounds from his TV we’re very loud, as if the walls are paper thin I choose this location thinking it was going to be quiet and relaxing NOT!! Anyhow, despite my complaints, I’m giving the hotel 4 and 5 stars On any other weekend, it might have been a perfect stay!!

The hotel is clean and bright There is a fitness center, pool, and lobby computer for use Housekeeping will drop off linens and towels to your room swiftly when you call reception There is even a large park basically next door where my son could play It’s also pet friendly!

Sian Simmons

As someone who works for a Hilton property, I generally know what to expect The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable I deducted a star for the cold shower we had to take because the water would not get warm

(I had seem other reviews stating this was an issue but had hoped it had been taken care of) Another star was deducted for breakfast quality and the fact that the lobby area was still dirty from breakfast an hour and a half after breakfast ended

Danyell Echols

Perfect example and model of what PEFECT FIVE STAR Hospitality should look like!!! Starting with the parking lot and outside property CLEAN and free of debris!!!! NEXT the front desk representatives nice, knowledgeable, worked fast paced, very helpful THEN the room was spotless Everything in place, bed cozy , sheets white as snow and even smelled clean!!!! Air conditioner was working

The shower head made my shower pleasant and calming! Towels clean , no hair in sink, tub or drainage Door Dash was allowed to drop off my meal at the door and not in the lobby WONDERFUL!!!! Breakfast was a FULL AND HOT BAR!! Coffee made fresh and free for guess during your stay!!! Coffee bar spotless and tidy I travel a lot and I have experienced the WORSE OF THE WORST but this hotel was AMAZING when I am in Atlanta again I will definitely be lodging here again!!! We checked in late and Ruben was so nice and very helpful! The room was very clean, which was most important to me Our room was on the bottom floor beside the exit and people were coming in and out at all hours of the night and the door slammed every time The pumps for the shampoo and conditioner in the shower didn’t work

Breakfast was pretty good!Overall, it was a decent place to stay for the night if you are passing through

Erica

I was in town under not so great circumstances and had a few issues with rooms after checking in after 3am Keke at the front desk was very nice and patient and got me in a decent room for the night She even left a note for the manager, which made it easy to explain the next morning

Michelle took accountability for the hotel and took good care of us for the duration of our stay Nope, no credits needed All it took was a friendly face who understood the situation, apologized, and fixed it right away The ENTIRE staff was friendly and seems to enjoy their job! It gave me a little comfort when I needed it the most!

Sonal

The rooms were spacious, but no house cleaning done for the 4 days that we were there The breakfast was good But the lady cleaning and restocking the items was very upset about the number of people that were having breakfast

Multiple teams had booked that hotel for a 4 day tournament There was a time, she even lashed out on the kids Something that is not hospitality If the staff doesn’t like soo many people booked and having breakfast, then they should not entertain booking it Would never plan on going back there

Stayed here for an event we were attending in Atlanta The room we stayed in was very nice There was not a dresser to put any clothes in, but there were a couple of drawers and a closet to keep clothes in

The workout area and pool were both very nice with lots of room The pool was an even 4ft deep but was still enjoyable to spend time in The area around the hotel was very nice to walk around and get some fresh air and nature The housekeeping was very nice and made sure our room was in tip top shape, even placing a stuffed animal we had on the bed There is also a mall across the street with lots of food and stores to fill time If I am ever in the area again, this will be my go to hotel choice

DJ Smith

Attended a conference at this hotel Very nice property for a general stay but the hotel was not large enough to host our conference Parking is very limited for large groups

This is a beautiful property The rooms were spacious and clean The grounds were well kept Limited dining options on the property but there are numerous eateries in the vicinity The fitness center was more than adequate and the hotel staff was pleasant and professional I would definitely stay at this location again, if necessary

Nicholas Isola

Great experience at this hotel Friendly front desk staff Unfortunately, the first room I was given had a mildew smell, but the front desk was able to quickly change my room

The second room was perfect Large TV, comfortable bed, clean everything The hotel seems to have been recently renovated, which was nice There’s great views of either a park or the city skyline from your room The park is accessible from the hotel, and is a great place to take a walk around I would stay here again

Couple of things I didn’t like was pool close to early and towels and washcloths you had to go to the office and take your dirty towels and washcloths to get clean ones Wide crack at the front door where bugs can come in so I place a towel at the bottom of the doorThe suite was very spacious it sleep about 10 ppl and beds were comfortable

Front desk check in was quick 2 bedroom suite with a loft suite This hotel is in a great location Restaurants gas station liquor stores convenience stores close to the highway

Georgia Guardian

I stay in this place 2-3 times a month When I come into town My stay on 4/30/22 was not good

The AC did not work in the room and nobody was at the front desk to complain to I called back Monday morning 5/2/22 to voice my concerns and the lady who answered had an attitude and actually hung up the phone without addressing my concernIt also take almost 7 days to get your deposit back This is absolutely ridiculous Only once since I stayed there was my deposit returned in reasonable amount of timeRoom 621 air does not work! This is my first time experiencing any issues besides the deposit return at this location

Brit Mosley

Check in/ out: the check in and out process was very fast The website states that breakfast was included but it wasn’t, I can assume due to COVIDRoom: We stayed on the second floor and our room included a loft bedroom, two bathrooms and two full sized beds in a separate room

The accommodations looked exactly like the picturesMy only con: there are too many permanent residents who are taking over the property It no longer looks as kept as a hotel should

I was only in town for one night for a corporate event and given the proximity to the venue, the rate, and the reviews, I chose to stay at Aloft I had previously stayed at the Aloft property in Nashville several years ago and was pleased, so I felt comfortable with my choice in Alpharetta My room, though small and on the first floor, was everything that I needed

(I formally traveled quite a bit for business, but this was my first time in a hotel since the pandemic) The room was very clean and quiet, had a nice waterfall shower head, desk space, large TV with many options and comfortable bedding Check in was super easy, as was check out My only, very small, issue was that my room didn’t have a Do Not Disturb sign, so I was interrupted twice This wasn’t a big issue though since I was traveling alone and was up and about both times Thank you very much for a near perfect stay

I arrived one hour after check-in time to find an empty desk and a “back in ten minutes” sign Ten minutes later, I was given keys to a room that was already occupied Thankfully the current occupant was very gracious about a random person trying to get into their room

I went back downstairs and was given keys to an unoccupied roomThe room was relatively clean and in good shape The batteries to the tv remote were dead, so I tried to call down to the front desk The phone didn’t work I tested the wall plug and it still didn’t work I went back to the lobby to get new batteries and to report the dead phone, but the “back in ten minutes” sign was back out with no attendant in sight This was about 5pmLater I discovered that the ironing board had a broken leg, and I had to go back to the lobby to get a new one Thankfully the attendant was availableI am very careful to turn all lights off when I leave a hotel room, and to shut the blinds When I returned later in the day the lights were on and the blinds were lifted, but the room had not been cleanedMy verdict: this hotel is either suffering from staff shortages or spectacularly bad quality control Or both I will not be returning

This hotel is wretched! I have stayed in other Aloft Hotels that I enjoyed, but this place is awful The carpeting is always dirty I requested that my room be cleaned daily (you have to request that from Marriott hotels since COVID, which they appear to be using as an excuse to cut WAY back on services), and was initially told they CAN’T do that! I called the hotel manager and asked whether that was a policy and was told “no, of course you can have your room cleaned” – and was promised that I would have my room cleaned daily – as a business traveler I do shower daily and it is unbelievable that they would actually think this is a good policy to leave a week’s worth of dirty towels in a room – but apparently they do because this has been an issue at EVERY Marriott I’ve stayed at lately

Anyway, they promised my room would be clean – first day it was, then afterwards, nope I’m a gold member but if Marriott doesn’t get it together I will switch brands!

Great locationThe breakfast is delicious with sausage links, home style potatoes, scrambled eggs, and moreThe fitness room was good

There is no laundry facility on-site with the closest one being about 10-12 minutes awayThe three stars are because it seems a little rundown It is nice, but there are little details that let you know that this hotel is old including nicks, scratches, and dents on the walls and door sills The lights in our living room space didn’t work, so someone just came in and unplugged them and said he’ll get to them later It has been two days, and he hasn’t been back yetThe bathroom light doesn’t turn on immediately; there is a delayThe elevators are slow One of them tells you you’re on floor 2, but it’s really floor 1 Floor 3 is really floor 4While the housekeeping staff are working on your hallway, they yell to each other and play musicThe a/c’s thermometer was not right in our room I had to turn it to 65 degrees for it to turn onAll in all, these are minor things, but when added up, it feels a little less than what I expect from the Hyatt brand

the edge

I’ve stayed at this location several times when I’ve come into town for work and the service has always been top notch I believe the gentleman’s name is Jamal who works at the front desk and he’s always an absolute pleasure to deal with My last morning there I also dealt with a woman and I believe her name was Jackie as she was newer with the company, and she was also fantastic so good job on the hirings, it’s people like these two that make ones stay that much better

I stayed here long term for a work project Although I get minimal housekeeping it was a little rough when I did request it Other than that this place was amazing

Great breakfast, very clean common areas and all of the staff especially Maria and Kavita were extremely helpful, polite, courteous, and helped make my stay very pleasurable! They even gave me a Xmas card! I would absolutely stay here again BTW Saturday and Sunday are bacon day 🙂

This was the host hotel for our family reunion and the service was top notch from check-in to our departure The hotel was clean and had all the amenities we needed but the STAFF is the reason our stay was so enjoyable! Every single person we encountered was friendly and helpful, but Orrie was my favorite! He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our meetings with a smile I would DEFINITELY stay there again if I’m in the area
