Tiffiany Tolle

The hotel is very clean & staff is super friendly We booked an oceanfront room with a king bed We were very happy with the room

Our room was very clean, the bed was super comfy & the AC worked great We love that the hotel is located on a quieter part of the beach The only downside was our room was on the 1st floor We didn’t call or specify in our online reservation that we’d like a room on a higher floor, so we can’t blame anyone but ourselves for that We go over to Daytona several times a year and always try to stay somewhere different each time but we’ll definitely be staying here again

Allison Hayes

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at on the beach it was truly like a condo Staff was very helpful and accommodating providing extra towels and toilet paper Gave us extra room keys without a hard time

Everyone who we came in contact with here was nothing but nice Great pool and hot tub and great location with beach access Eddy was very helpful to give me extra keys and help me check I would 10/10 recommend this place It was amazing for the price

Kris Behringer

We have stayed here on two occasions now, and both experiences were positive The hotel is older and it shows, but it is clean and the hotel staff is fantastic! You can’t beat the view from their ocean front rooms, and the location is great with easy access to just about everything We will absolutely stay again

Thanks to the staff for a great visit!

Nice clean, quiet little place with a kitchenette and an exceptional owner Teresa was wonderful and so pleasant to talk to and I so appreciated her kindness with all we were going through which is what brought us down here She really takes pride in her place and it shows

Our room was cleaned daily and the grounds were always picked up and nice looking There is a fenced area out the back of the kitchenette room with a patio table and chairs to sit outside and relax Thank you Teresa for your hospitality and take care dear ❤️

Princess Tah-tah

While the rooms were always kept very clean and the housekeeping crew went above and beyond when it came to detail, the stay itself wasn’t pleasant at all Both of the beds in my room were broken, the water in the room was sulfur water and was so low flow, it made bathing painfully difficult This establishment is definitely a no frills kind of stay

If you are looking for somewhere to spend while on vacation, this is NOT your destination!

Do not be fooled by the 45 stars- this is definitely a 1-2 star hotel

The front desk person you need to call to get service couldn’t find my reservation Flat out told me I didn’t have a reservation until I showed him my bookingcom confirmation number Check-in was supposed to be at 2pm and when we arrived at 3:00pm, the front desk guy said check-in “starts” at 2:00pm, but nothing is ready at 2:00pm… whatever that means Lots of excusesThis place is terrible for many reasons, and severely understaffed We ended up having about 15 minutes to get ready for a wedding we were attending instead of the 2 hours we thought we would have with a 2:30pm arrivalThe photos of the property need to be updated because the property needs some real updates The smoke detector conveniently started going off, as if it were low on batteries, around 6:00am until 9:00am every three minutes This place needs another Hotel Impossible make-over for sureWe’ll never come back and definitely, will not recommend this place to anyone

Darryle Callero

I would advise bringing your own plunger When I requested one I had just missed it by a minute before another guest had requested it Don’t worry about the lack of channel guides as most of the analog channels are frozen anyway

There is a legend that there are beach chairs available upon request but I think it’s just an old wives taleBringing your own do not disturb sign is also advised Perhaps one not made of the thinnest cardboard stock known to man, one that will actually hang on the door Also be prepared to bring and install your own sliding glass door I’d imagine you can call ahead for the measurements and specs Upon checkout you will be able to leave an online review once you are far enough away I would say do it while you’re there but it requires working internet

Sandra RJG

Cute location this motel directly on the Atlantic Ocean Beach We 4 loved this place with its Greek blue benches and amenities, only con was the water problem in our room 135One star less not because of the water problem itself but because of the way of communication by the GM

My husband Jason and I had never stayed at a BNB before, so we didn’t know quit what to expect

We were very pleasantly surprised and greatly enjoyed our stay here! Tommy was a great host, and made delicious breakfast for us every morning we were there On top of that he was very accommodating to my finicky diet, which was greatly appreciated, and beyond what was expected! I love the porch swing and all of the stained glass features! The ice maker in the dining area was very useful, and we used that everyday I also made use of the garden tub every evening that was in our room (we stayed in one of the upstairs rooms that had this feature, not sure if all rooms do) We look forward to our next visit!

Anchor Inn is a beautiful place to stay with warm welcoming hosts The rooms are beautifully decorated and have all the amenities you need for a great stay the home cooked breakfast is delicious each morning and the hosts are very accommodating for any diet

We love staying here with our dogs since it’s so close to the dog beaches but would definitely recommend Anchor Inn to anyone with or without a pup We’ve stayed 5 times and will always come back when visiting NSB

Percy Pomeroy

Nice, clean B&B with friendly staff and excellent breakfast with some food available 24 hours Short drive to the beach You can walk to the beach if you need to log your steps

Very short walking distance to the old historic downtown I stayed in the mermaid room and it definitely had that theme The room door opened to the outside I purchased a mug because I liked it so much!

My family and I enjoyed a lot The place is Beach front You can enjoy the pool looking to the beach, which is right in front of it

The room is fully equipped with everything you need to stay how long you need/can They have a room to eat with table and chairs but they don’t have a breakfast Unfortunately the WiFi didn’t work and the pool get close at dusk They charge a $100 deposit but they return to you at the same day you checkout The parking lot is free and very big, which won’t be a problem find a free spot to your vehicle Overall is a great experience and an excellent place to spend some time with your family

Lauren Wray

Day 1, there was someone else’s sock that fell out of the bedding We called the front desk and we were told that we have to strip the bed, bring the bedding down, get new bedding, and remake our bed but only could get the bedding during certain hoursThe dishwasher is very small and they only provide a small amount of dishwashing pods and told us we were responsible for replacing them

There was 1 nice front desk lady who apologized for how everything was being run2 stars because there’s a nice view of the ocean and there’s an adult only hot tub, but other than that I do not recommend this place

kathryn White

This resort is a joke I have been coming here with my family for 20years and I use to love it here Not Anymore! My family is now displaced for the week with no rooms available after I had a confirmation that this was my week

I was told they changed my week back in May of 2021 and never emailed me the changed dates I was told they physically handed me the changed dates This never happened I have no conformation on my end that this ever happened and they have no proof that they have it to me On top of that I was called a liar I will never recommend this place to anyone and I’m selling my timeshare Worst business in NSB

This past weekend my husband and I had a beautiful small intimate beach wedding on NSB by paradise beach weddings (5 STARS) My husband and I decided to stay in this vintage Beach Floridian type cottage feel hotel (I grew up on Cape Cod MA and My husband spent many months on Martha’s Vineyard on the Ma State Police) We had a ball! The day of my ceremony the owners were so adorable! Always so friendly and kind What really hit home for us is when we woke up the morning after our beach wedding, Virginia decorated our door and wrote in chalk outside our door on the ground “QUIET! Bride and Groom at work!” it was so funny and yet so sweet

Virginia and her husband left in a bag and a card two beautiful beach wine glasses that each had beautiful sea glass with shells in it (best way to describe) It was the most thoughtful thing ever! They were so welcoming It made our whole beach ceremony even more memorable We will brag for anyone to stay here! Thank you again! Sean & Kelli

Cynthia Hollinshead

Where to begin? First, the owners Terry & Ginny are VERY nice people They welcome you like family & make you feel at home!Secondly, the room It looked like we were staying in a cute little cabin & it was spotless! Even the bed linen smelled so fresh & clean!!For what seems to be rated a 2 star hotel, we give 5 stars because there isn’t a 10 star rating! Will DEFINITELY be back! And don’t let me forget the RUM PUNCH upon check-in!!

I loved leaving the balcony door open and hearing the waves all nightCons: There was rust on a lot of the fixtures and the room had a damp odor In their defense this is pretty typical of hotels right on the beach

Pros: Breakfast was good with many options Great location I love getting up to see the sunrise (as you can see from the photos)! The room rates were also very competitive Also the young man who checked us in was the nicest and most helpful hotel front desk worker I have ever met

Kevin Wohl

( almost a 4)We chose this HIE for my birthday getaway, as we both love waking on the beach and my wife loves ocean front balconies She was not thrilled with the garbage bins in the parking lot but the views of the ocean as you enter the lobby are appealing But the hallway corridor leading to our room ‘ showed its age ‘ and again , left an unpleasant impression

We knew this was an older facility and did recognize the solid effort in room renovations Room , bedding and bathroom were are comfortable overall , excepting the strong musty odor in the closet ( we wouldn’t leave our clothes in there )Nice balcony and good proximity to dining optionsThere was a noise issue but to their credit , management was quick to acknowledge and address the problem and apologize That is appreciated; they do seem to care The breakfast attendant was quite nice as well Overall good value by using IHG points

Not great Every room has a good view of the water That was nice

The room had a big puddle from the dripping AC unit It was also covered in rust where the water was coming out so this was not a new issue When I was in the lobby I heard another guest saying that there was water dripping from his bathroom ceiling Has also said that the night before the staff had to repair his bathroom because the people in the room underneath him were complaining about water dripping from their ceiling!Decent price compared to every other hotel on that strip but not a nice room TV didn’t have many working channels Internet did not work Very nice people working there They just need better management

Stephanie Fancher

We just left today and we were heartbroken to say goodbye We cannot wait to come back! We had a wonderful stay! The staff was amazing! Very friendly and helpful! Another thing we noticed is the hotel itself smelled so clean and I saw people cleaning constantly! My only complaint I have is we had a suite and we really wished the kitchen was in the middle of the two rooms and also the slats under our king size bed kept coming loose causing the mattress to fall We never asked anyone to repair it we just did it ourselves lol

We loved everything about this place though The location is nice and quiet Nice roomy parking area and they even had plenty of pool floats and chairs to use for the beach! Another favorite was the dog park for the dogs to go potty! The whole place was great! We will definitely be returning!

Susan Buckingham

July 11-12, 2022: Hidden Gem among huge franchises! Not a 5 star hotel chain but 5 stars in cleanliness, professionalism, friendliness and the location is fabulous with quick access to the pool and beach The rooms are charming and the AC keeps the room cold! You can make dinner in or order out while dining to your private ocean view and sounds of the waves! We have found our go to place near Daytona!

We usually stay at a nearby location when we visit NSB, but there were no rooms available for our dates, so I took a chance and booked with New Smyrna Waves What a delightful surprise! It is a beachfront location which is important for us The unit was spacious and able to accommodate 4 adults and 2 teenagers comfortably

Of course, we pack lightly and efficiently (we are a camping family at heart), so we were able to make it work for the 4 days we spent in NSBThere are three buildings on the site, we were in the building closest to the street, so we didn’t have a beach view from our unit That didn’t bother us, as we were just a few steps away from the beach access and the pool You get a standard hotel room key or silicone bracelets that act as the room key Brilliant! The kitchen is such a helpful amenity! Stovetop, oven, microwave, dishes, glasses, pots and pans, and silverware are included The nearby Publix provided us with the week’s groceries so we could have breakfast and lunch at “home” and treat ourselves to a dinner out every nightAll in all, we will definitely return to this location Thank you New Smyrna Waves for helping us make spectacular deposits in our memory bank!

Luther Brown

We have visited and stayed here many time over the past (3) years and we love it The saltwater pool is always warm and clean The staff here work hard to ensure that your stay is one that you will tell your friends and family about

The units are clean and well taken care of Fully furnished and inviting Most units have great views of the ocean and you’re only steps away from the beachThere are many great restaurants, ice cream shops and fun places for the family Publix right down the street for groceries and any of the last minute items the family may needThis is a clean, safe and great place to stayclose to everything and convenient to the beach

Abraham Jimenez

I enjoyed my stay at the Hampton Inn at New Smyrna Beach The entrance to this hotel is a little hidden, I missed the entrance the first time around but once you know what you’re looking for it’s not a big deal Guest services was very friendly when we arrived and informed us to everything the hotel had to offer

This hotel did offer breakfast, coffee all day and the breakfast was surprisingly good, it wasn’t just cereal and beagles like most hotels The reason I didn’t give the hotel 5 stars was because of the room(didn’t take a picture🙄) I expect something a little more for how pricey the hotel was It didn’t have a mini fridge to keep any drinks, I expect that at the bare minimum The room was very basic Don’t get me wrong, the beds were comfortable the room was a good size, the A/C got very cold, the room smelled clean The hotel does have gated parking, that’s a plus What I enjoyed most of this hotel was the location It’s located very close to the beach, you can walk from the hotel, and there’s restaurants near by for dining I hope this review helps you make your decision a little easier, and if it does please give me a 👍

FLBeachBum

Let me start by applauding Nick at the front desk for one of the warmest and most thorough check-ins I’ve experienced in a long time He’s a gem! The hotel feels more like a boutique B&B than a hotel, which made it all the more delightful The room was clean and breakfast was satisfying

You can walk easily to the beach, with several shops and dining options along the way

Frugal Couponer

Edit

For the price I paid, it wasn’t worth it No fridge or microwave in the room I have a diabetic mother that needed to keep her insulin cold No way to heat up anything either Also, the chair lift by the pool wasn’t working and no staff knew how to work it So my wheelchair bound mom couldn’t get in the pool our entire stay The only reason I gave 3 stars was because the hotel was nice, location was good, breakfast was good and staff was friendly For the prices you charge the above shouldn’t have been an issue!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay right on the water Very short distance to the beach The hotel is beautiful, the beds are super comfortable

We put our breakfast order in the night before and they delivered breakfast to our door the next morning Although it was a pretty limited menu, we were surprised at how good the food was Staff was amazing Would definitely stay here again

This place is great My wife and I both had massages there The staff were very friendly and professional

The massage was very relaxing They have an outdoor pool and hot tub with waterfalls in it You can lounge in the chairs or pool after the massage They have water, coffee, tea and snacks to enjoy with no rush to get you out of there We really enjoyed it

James Luton

Planned a visit for our anniversary and enjoyed our stay The location is wonderful and the rooms quite uniqueUnfortunately, our friend had arranged to prepay for most of the room fee and asked for a card to be left for us indicating the gift and wishing us a happy celebration

While the credit was apparently applied, we were unaware as the balance was billed to ‘the card on file’This made for a very awkward conversation when it was mentioned to us, as we had not been able to thank our friend properlyAs an independent inn, it’s unfortunate they couldn’t have made the small extra effort for us

Good value for a beachfront motel I actually stayed in July of 2021 The photos of the room were accurate

The air-conditioner failed but was replaced within 30 minutes of reporting it The pool was well maintained The kitchenette was fully functional My 11 year old daughter had a fantastic time Other families had children within her age range/enjoyed playing in the pool If i return to Daytona will definitely consider returning

Richard Funk

Stayed at the Atlantic Palm Inn for 3 nights while looking at a collage for my son First of all the price of the room was great Nothing fancy but a really clean room and shower

The view we had of the beach was wonderful Staff are great and anything I needed they got for me They were doing some construction work on the building but they never started until after 8AM The cracked Egg is right across the street Breakfast and lunch are great Will be booking again with them really soon

I have to give one star or it won’t even let me put a review All of the reviews stating this place was “clean” are absolutely a lie This place was disgusting, the bed sheets were stained yellow and smelled horrible

The room smelled the cockroaches and the only reason we even stayed was because we came from a long road trip and all the other places were booked They do not keep up with maintenance or cleanliness, and are extremely rude in the front desk We asked if they had any specific rules we should follow as many of these small hotels do and they said no I have been to a million hotels and not once have I been charged for “not cleaning utensils” which is not even true We washed the utensils we used mainly because they were dirty when we retrieved them from the drawer and we washed them again after we used them as we are CLEAN people unlike this hotel Yet we were charged an extra $25 because housekeeping “had to wash them” as if it wasn’t their job to clean I’ve worked in housekeeping and that is the sole duty of the job This place is absolutely disgusting and my family and I will never stay here again

So on a last minute decision my family wanted a few days on the beach before leaving We booked a room on the last minute They found us a room! The quietness was very relaxing! We were close to a grocery store, and a souvenir store

Access to the beach is right there with wash area to get the sand off There was also a great dining area, and the staff was very sweet! The concierge was awesome, and the staff! Definitely a great place to finish off vacation! And awesome vibes!

My experience was a really good one Especially with the staff, everyone was so kind & warm From front desk to the cleaning staff

CJ at the front was amazing, so helpful and knowledgable Couldn’t have asked for a nicer more helpful person Took my mom & daughter for an early Mother’s day stay The room was unique- bedroom and kitchen/sitting area were separated My only 2 issues were the walls are super thin, you can hear other guests in their rooms talking but thankfully not too bad and my other issue was the beds were not super comfy However, the room was clean and we enjoyed our stay

The hotel is clean and centrally located, the rooms are spacious, great breakfast Be ware when booking on the SpringHill Suites website! The website shows the initial day’s rate of the chosen room type but does not show fluctuations in the rate from day to day (just says flexible rate!!) If you are staying for more than one night, ensure to review the details of each daily rate

There was a $110 rate difference in our room rate from the first night to the next, which the Marriott website seemed to neglect to make visibleRegular check in time of 4PM was not honored and there was a 45 minute wait time to get in the room The staff seemed to be highly overwhelmed during the Spring break Many hotels welcome outside guests that utilize resorts services for a fee Instead, we observed main entry sliding doors locked! And everyone coming in was questioned to ensure each guest was a hotel guest only In general, any communication was curt, short, border lining a rude manner Instead of a welcoming atmosphere, we felt on the edge when on hotel grounds Shouldn’t customer service and good vibes be the priority of a business in the hospitality industry?

We stayed at this property for one night so we could be close to the beach The property is conveniently located right on the beach The pool overlooks the ocean and is a beautiful place to spend the weekend

The parking is in the basement and a little tricky to maneuver around in so smaller vehicles work best The rooms were well appointed, clean, and some have a view of the ocean There is a Starbucks in the lobby and a bar, both convenient along with the breakfast that is included A nice place to stay on a gorgeous white sandy beach!

Nice spot right on the water, the beach is literally right outside the lobby Parking is $15 a day and it is in a secured garage The place is very clean and the staff is friendly! They have rooms with balconies over the beach, but I didn’t get one, none were available

This place has free breakfast and the pool is small but clean! This is definitely a place I would come back to
