Clean park Sites seem to be level and not many full timers here Paved roads and lots of green grass to keep our dog happy

The only negatives I can think of, although it didn’t affect us, is the showers are a long way from parts of the park and the pool (very small) and spa were pretty much overrun by kids Lots of restaurants close by We were here in an rv with four slides and there was plenty of room and even had a ton of room to park our toad 🙂

Anthony Lares

Clean RV park, reserved space on line as recommended by staff 10days ago On our return trip, pulled in and checked in around 1330 hours on Fathers Day Staff informed us she had moved us to a different site, to make room for a family group

So I asked why they were giving preferential treatment to families, was told to read the fine print that they could move us, she stated “That’ what I would want if I was with a group “ Senior citizens are second class to these people, because we are traveling without kids Will not ever return nor recommend to my traveling friends No one showed up to our site that day, nor when we left WHY BOTHER RESERVING ON LINE…Never again, that RV stop has been removed off my list👎👎

Checked in on7/15/22 everything was good Morning of 7/16, the sink wouldn’t drain and was filled up when I left the room I told front desk about the issue about 6:30am so maintenance could fix it

I returned to my room around 6:30pm and found that my room had not been cleaned; bed made, trash emptied, etc and that the sink was still filled with standing waterI advised the front desk and was advised that there was nothing to be done about the dirty room I fixed the plugged drain myselfKATHY IN THE BREAKFAST ROOM WAS PLEASANT AND AND EXTREMELY CAPABLE OF DOING HER JOB The room was clean and well supplied Perhaps she could train the rest of the staff in customer service, and job performance

Jen CarSkaden

The rooms were very clean which was nice! However, cigarette butts by the hot tub inside, RUDE housekeeping that not only disregarded my do not disturb sign, blamed me because the door was cracked she says and was banging on my door at 9:30 and just walked right in Went to front desk to talk to someone about the housekeepers behavior, no manager available, no one at the front desk Was chased out to talk to the managers mother

Which I declined to do I stay frequently at comfort inn, they are my preferred choice hotel I was really disappointed with the treatment by housekeeping and the unavailability of a manager I hope you can do better for the next guests

Renee R

sink is outside of the bathroom which can be inconvenient in some cases, shower was ok with lower water pressure but not horrible hot tub did not heat up well and there was some kind of residue on the bubbles the room was cleaned well and the air conditioning works great

the breakfast is the best hotel breakfast i’ve had and the lady serving it is great at keeping everything stocked and checking in with everyone she’s super friendly and definitely deserves a raise!! best staff member at the place the ladies at the front desk are ok but seemed annoyed when asked about anything and told us to call back instead of holding because she was checking someone in, but we had no idea when to call stayed here twice and both were about the same experience the second time i did laundry and there is a lot of water damage and staining underneath the washer that definitely needs maintenance, same with the ice machines on the first and second story the carpeting seems old and is peeling up a little bit in some places, but nothing serious or gross I would stay here again but it’s not the nicest comfort inns i’ve been to

Great stay We had been unexpectedly delayed in Elko and had to do a last minute booking We were able to get a great room, at the last minute, from the very friendly staff

They knew the area well and were able to direct us accurately to places to get items and dinner for our brief stay The hot tub was under maintenance the night we were there, but the pool was heated and definitely worth the concession

Robert Bolar

I have got to tell you that this was one of the best rooms in our entire vacation over the last two weeks We were so pleasantly surprised to enjoy a large two bedroom suite here All of the amenities that you would expect at a high-end hotel in San Diego or another big city were available in this small Elko Nevada hotel

We were treated very warmly upon arrival and upon departure it was an absolutely great experience I hope that we can return and enjoy a stay here as this is a good halfway point coming back from California to Utah

AG

This was my second stay here First stay was a three star But that was also during the middle of the pandemic and I can’t fault them for that — given the circumstances everyone was living under

This stay was comfortable Rooms were clean, spacious and modern The staff was friendly and accommodating Best thing is that this is a pet friendly hotel (upto 75 lbs but they don’t put your dog on a scale to verify LOL)!I’ll continue to stay here as I pass through Elko, NV

Update 02/2022 – I had yet another great experience here! Michelle, at the front desk, went above and beyond for me The rooms and gym are always clean Plus, it has great amenities and customer service

10/2019 Wow! The right kind of comfort for the right price I’m talking all the amenities one could need or ask for A full on kitchen to cook with cookware I meal prep and had to travel across country The fridge was huge and this being my first stop, it easily fit all my food I also used the toaster as well There is also plenty of room to workout in the room if you are a fitness buff It’s also conveniently located next to the highwayI highly recommend this place!

Very nice and very comfortable but what really made it was the GM MichelleI booked my parents stay here for their anniversary when they flew in from NC The day they flew in we brought champagne and flowers for them and michelle took us to the room so we could set them up

It wasnt a view of the mountains room and i was a little bummed as my parents had never been here before Michelle changed their room to a beautiful view room Not only that but after we left to pick up my parents, Michelle took it upon herself to get an anniversay card and a box of Godiva chocolates for my parents and set it up in the room They were so surprised and so happyThank you so much Michelle for going above and beyond for us It meant so much And whenever I have family fly in for a visit I will be booking them hereKeep up the amazing work!!

Chance Heiner

Having a kitchenette and a full size fridge is nice in a hotel especially if staying for a few days The rooms are clean, quiet, spacious, and the staff is super friendly Having free washers and dryers when you stay is great so your luggage doesn’t smell like feet or small dirty demon children after your trip

The beds are very comfortable as well Nothing beats a good night’s rest and this place caters to that need very well

Called and asked about availability, the lady on the phone said “We can take ya”! Check in process was quick and easy The lady at the front desk was greatSites are very close to each other, just fyi

I had zero issues hooking up to all my rv connectionsWeird tho, I had a neighbor that was fully hooked up AND running the generator as wellfor at least 8 hours I only took exception to the exhaust pipe from said generator being pointed towards my rig Couldn’t open my windowsTheir dog walk area is sharp-ish gravel at the far end of the property and not a real walk area My old pup didn’t care for walking on itTheir bar and grill seating was limited due to co-funk19 but I was still able to go in an have a couple beersOrdered the mac daddy burger It was good Very overpriced tho $17+ for a bacon cheeseburger and small amount of friesI could’ve eaten 2 of em

Shiloh inn and suites is a retro hotel w/ pink Formica countertops, which were not unbearable The rooms were huge, and therefore spacious, unlike much pricier hotel chains Very comfortable with amenities like microwaves, nice size refrigerators, ionic blow-dryers, ironing boards and irons, all included in the rooms

Staff was kind, and I will definitely stay there again! Will recommend to friends family and friends Great value for our hard earned money Ty Shiloh in Elko Nevada!

Brian Justice

The lady at the front was amazing with us, very kind and professional When we came to the hotel, we just wanted a room for the night and she went online to get us the best priceWhen we got to our room, the A/C was broken and she gave us an upgrade, in my opinion

The room was big with two king beds and a small kitchenetteWith my bad back, the beds are important This bed is comfy with the perfect firmness for my back The wife likes it too!

Abby Ward

I’m not sure why it has a 4 star rating on Google Maybe it was rated back when it was new and clean? I will say it was quiet and cheap with nice staff, but those are the only good qualitiesMy problem was that nothing was clean

The bathrooms smelled like pee (including the shower curtain) We reserved with the advertisement of free breakfast which they do not offer I guess they used to give you a coupon for Denny’s but that is no longer an offer

Lynn Daniels-Anderson

The check-in was friendly and helpful, thoroughly professional Room was clean, though sparse on amenities Excellent, secure location

We noticed that there is plenty of street parking if you are towing a trailer or driving an oversized rig Breakfast was a typical HIExpress experience It started early and was cleaned out by early rising miners who use the hotel as their home base Took a while for items to be replenished, though I imagine staffing is likely the issue Overall, a recommended stay

Eric Schneider

My wife and I stayed here on the last night of a cross country road trip to California We usually stay at Holiday Inn Expresses on trips like these because of the consistent amenities and service, and this particular hotel did not disappoint! This hotel appears to be basically brand new, and is super easy to get to right off the freeway The beds and rooms were very clean and comfortable as usual, and the free breakfast was excellent

But what really set this hotel apart was the service We were dead tired when we arrived, and couldn’t have been luckier to have Ariel working at the front desk She provided better service than most of the 4-star hotels I’ve stayed at Check-in was quick and easy, and she was so kind and accommodating in helping us weary travelers If Elko isn’t your final destination, and you want to make a little more progress than Salt Lake City or Reno, I highly recommend staying here You won’t regret it

AM Duncan

+Tyler and Garret at the front desk were two of the most amazing human beings I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet in my entire lifeI made a last minute reservation with the Hilton next door only to be told when I entered that I would be staying at the Holiday Inn Express next door due to a mishap with overbooking Tyler and Garret made me feel so at ease with the transition and were more than accommodating to me, my mother, and my service dog

As someone that suffers chronic physical and mental illness having such a warm welcoming and easy transition at the very last minute could not be more appreciated! They even gave me a handicapped accessible room+ The room was very clean (Double checked for me before entering!) and spacious+Comfortable beds and soft linens

Jenna Kindle (KindleJ)

The hotel rooms are okay at best The phone didn’t work, there weren’t enough towels for the four of us and everytime we requested more toilet paper or wash clothes it took several tries The free breakfast is nice however the service in the restaurant is hit or miss

We are dinner there twice and breakfast every morning and never had a good service experience Finally, on our last night the ac broke So, we had to try and sleep in an 80 degree hotel room before a 10+ hour drive home They recommended opening a window but we were in an inside room They were booked solid and couldn’t change our room Refused to offer any sort of compensation even though my daughter was having a panic attack from the best in our hotel room and we got zero sleep Will I stay here again? Very unlikely

Susan Rollan

I had good hopes after I checked in and the lobby didn’t smell like cigarettes which is unusual since it’s a casino hotel The area doesn’t appear bad and there’s walking areas for my dog outside Stayed in a double roI’m with my dog

It’s an older hotel but it’s a Wyndham so fingers still crossed The room size is good, no bad odor, and the room is clean The shower was great with hot water and shower head had pressure My negatives are 1 it’s a casino and not as quite as I’d like for a good night sleep, even with a noise maker the noises still woke my dog which in turn kept me up 2 The mattresses are definitely on their last leg, they even sink in from the edge 3 The ac wasn’t working in the room and the temperature never went below 75 I would have changed rooms but by the time I figured out it wasn’t working I was already in bed and too exhausted from traveling to change The free breakfast at the cafe saved the day I had the 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast

Robert Shaw

The only reason we are giving them 2☆ is the bartender she was extremely helpful and made my wife a drink not even on the menu The restaurant was food with absolutely no seasoning or flavor We got to the room after we checked in thought we turned the AC on and went to dinner, came back and the AC wasn’t on, we called the front desk and were told it’s controlled from the office and they can’t turn it on yet for the entire hotel the high temp today was a record high of 76° and our room was facing the pool/courtyard (pool is closed) the AC was not mentioned when booking the ony thing mentioned was the Gym is unavailable due to remodeling

Highly unsatisfied

I booked a 1 queen bed 1 bedroom suite A suite With a door between the bedroom and the living space- where a pullout couch and kitchenette would be

Was traveling with two kids so the closed door was a necessity They put me in a normal small 1 bedroom Queen When I got to the room I realized a mistake had been made- so I checked my booking info and yup, sure enough, I had booked a full suite- with separate living area I went to the front desk and asked about it and they said “that’s how all our suites our We don’t have one bedroom suites”… at Home2Suites? I showed them my email with the original booking and after some discussion they found a room that I had originally booked and “upgraded” meThe room was dirty, outdated, and the couch was fraying and disgusting There were ants in the bathroom and stains on the floorsI filled out the review your stay email that came, and explained all these issues The general manager then emailed me to tell me I was wrong- that I hadn’t booked a one bedroom suite And that there were no bugs in their hotel lol I replied with a screenshot of my booking— of a one bedroom suite with separate living area- and never heard back Seriously?

Kristy Eckley

This was by far one of the most amazing stays, by far the cleanest, most comfortable and accommodating hotels I have ever stayed at The entire place was immaculate, very beautifully furnished, the rooms are amazingly large, beds were extremely comfortable, (almost more comfortable than the bed I have at home) it was very quiet, peaceful, made you feel right at home! The kitchenette with A REAL apartment size refrigerator and freezer, Pots, pans, silverware, dishes & more, along with a decent sized coffee pot and in room coffee, was extremely helpful and amazing to me! There was even a dishwasher! The customer service is top-notch here also! The staff members make you feel right at home

Aldine Hobbs

I stayed here for work and it’s the best place I’ve stayed at for a long time! The front desk service was awesome and my room was very clean and had so many great amenities such as a fridge and freezer, microwave, and plenty of utensils and cookware Bed was super comfy , AC worked great and I really loved the nice 24 hour gym The pool seemed new and clean

Breakfast was great too! I enjoyed the selection of berries for my hot oatmeal and they even had little Nutella packets! I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Elko!

The rooms looked brand new, the bathroom was updated, the beds were super comfy Lamps had plugs attached and there was a plug and USB charger on the desk Room had a standard mini fridge with a separate freezer instead of the tiny single unit most motels have

We we’re able to fit everything from our small cooler in The staff was super nice, the breakfast was quick and easy but still had plenty of variety Fantastic bang for your buck and we will definitely be staying again when we’re in town

Sadowsky Joe

Great value, great stay Rolled into Elko and picked this place based on reviews Rooms were big, bed was comfortable, locations was safe, shower was hot

Friendly and helpful staff Plenty of food choices within walking distance Thought my stay was gonna be 1 night, but the value was too good, so I extended it to 2 nights Next time I am passing thru Nevada, I will stay here again!!

Sarah A

The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were nice! The toilet wasn’t working well The AC was either on or off which meant the room was either 55 degrees or the outside temperature (95 when I was there) I had to get up a couple of times that night to manually turn it on and off And the price was $79

I definitely will not be searching this place out again

This and the Travel Lodge are owned by the same folks so even though I checked in at the travel lodge lobby I was assigned to the super eight right across the lot And the room was just what you’d expect at a budget hotel but it had a nice big black and white print of the mountains on the wall Cute bedspread, seemed clean to me

Shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion No noise Complimentary breakfast had sausage links, bagels and cream cheese, cereal, and things like that Only reason I can’t give it five stars is because it’s certainly not a five star hotel but come on, it was $47! Can’t beat that

I’ve stayed here twice on different work trips this year The staff are very friendly and helpful The hotel is pet friendly and comfortable for dogs (I had two small ones on my most recent trip)

The breakfast has a few different options and the lobby has fresh coffee most of the daysThe location is very close to the local Albertsons and has a few places to eat within walking distance, which is helpful on a work trip The hotel is very close to the convention center, and is within walking distance of it if necessaryThe rooms are comfortable though a little dated The mini fridge is a great size for a few day stay and they also have a microwave and coffee maker in each room

Matt Anderson

I normally come to Elko several times a month and will choose the Best Western over every other chain in the area every time Theresa at the front desk, and every other person I’ve interacted with have been thoughtful, considerate and accommodating in every way Every time

The rooms are clean and the beds are super comfy I especially love the pillows here for some reason I can’t fully identify…Plus the biscuits and gravy in the mornings are delicious I lived in the deep south where biscuits and gravy recipes live next to the family Bible in some areas… these would pass muster anywhere

Kristen Cain

Not terrible, but definitely not great Relatively clean, but in need of updating The carpets were worn, old, and stained along with the couch in the room

The pool was very over-chlorinated and stung our eyes The whole pool room was stuffy and chemical-saturated The bathrooms by the pool were unusable and gross The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, but this doesn’t compensate for the run-down feel of the hotel There are better, newer places available for the same price in town, I would recommend staying at one of those
