The restrooms are clean; the site is very nice with both shaded and sunny spotsThere are some sites near the bay, at this time those sites are water & electric only

These are mostly unshaded; we are hoping that one day the city will finish up running the sewer lines in the “lake ” sites! One section which is heavily shaded plus the tent sites do not off any hookups 😞Good people run and take care of the campgrounds We have been camping there for decades!

Jim

We stayed here in early May in a 40′ motorhome There were very few campers in the park If the park was full, I think it would feel pretty crowded

However, since it wasn’t full we had a site (12) with full hookups and a nice view of the water Not every site has a sewer connection The pads are rock, and some are rather small and close together We had a fire pit and a picnic table Cost was $35 per night for our site There is a modern shower house and firewood for sale I enjoyed the park

This campground is the terrible place I ever been Kids are disrespectful banging on the shower doors and saying nasty words at the play ground I’m never coming back to this piece of garbage campground

There is no reason for kids banging on shower doors or using foul language I never been to a campground that kids are swearing and banging on showers Never had a bad experience like this before And this campground isn’t a 5 star campground either

We really enjoyed our stay, and the experience in general! Our room was very clean and the staff were great The coffee shop is super and has some really good food too It’s got very gorgeous views and yes it shows a little age in places, but I prefer that in a place with so much history

We traveled from north Carolina and we really had no complaints! Only thing I wish was different, was renting the kayaks is only available in the mornings

J Webber

I want to be careful about this review: this was a NICE motel But they don’t call themselves a motel They call themselves a resort

And our room was fine But it wasn’t ANYTHING like the photos of rooms they have online Those look gorgeous! Ours was a perfectly clean, nicely sized motel room that was probably last redecorated in 1999 The staff was nice The room was okay It was a bit bad value for the money But it was nothing at all like the property name and online photos would lead a person to believe This isn’t a bargain resort It’s a mid-level motel They are mid renovations and the photos they show are completely renovated rooms Yours? Yours might look like something a trucker would stay in It’s fine You won’t hate it But it isn’t even remotely like they would lead you to believe

Jeanny House

I stayed at the Terrace Bay from April 29-May 2, 2022 They were in the midst of a major remodel, and I had one of the renovated lake view king rooms The bed was fairly comfortable and the view was spectacular

There was a stunning sunrise one morning that darned near made the whole stay worth the moneyThe staff were exceptionally cordial, welcoming, and considerate I have some serious mobility issues and can’t walk far without pain They found a way for a staff member to bring me a breakfast bagel from their coffee shop and did some other things for me that were very helpfulThe reason I can only give three stars is that the building is not very friendly to people with mobility issues I use a walker and have very painful knees The walking distance from the desk to my room and from my parking space to my room was daunting The corridors were very long All the doors – into the building, into my room, and into the bathroom – were very narrow They just barely accommodated my walker The bed, while comfortable, was quite tall and hard to get onto, especially with my bad knees I’m 5’8”, and I don’t know how a shorter person would manage

Awesome reasonably priced room Casino is large, bright and enjoyable All is non smoking, at least I saw no one smoking or smelled it

Gaming was fun with a huge selection of slots Very clean The restaurant at the top we thought was a bit overrated for the price and food quality, I would rate it a 6 out of 10 I believe they are still working hard at it and it will come together All in all we would recommend the hotel and casino and will definitely stop again when traveling through the area

Brody Archambault

This is my favorite casino I have been going here for a few years, just went last night and had, enjoyed playing slots with some friends and getting some delicious white cheddar cheese curds at one of their several restaurants called The Reef This resort and casino always has friendly staff and plenty of slots, and if you are a bingo fan like I am I suggest going to their cosmic bingo

I have also stayed here multiple times and have to say their rooms are always very clean and modern

Worst Hotel Casino Ever!!!!!!! Went back in February Earned 4089 (If you guys read this do the math on my spend in one visit Live 4 hours away

Once I saw they had a water park thought this is great!!! My kids can play and at night I can go out! Well this is incredibly stupid They need to decide who their crowd is for the water park Its either the locals up there who come just for the water park and spend nothing Or guests with kids but also come to gamble Stated they have a adults only pool, but its not enforced either More kids in there When I went in February they had bus upon bus of local people for the water park Went in with my kids and could barely move so many people Well now, they split it: 100 for hotel 100 for locals Still stupid because the water park passes sell right away Then the hotel passes you have to buy a special package to get them Limit 4 (cant do 5 because apparently one more is just not possible) So the crowds they are going for no kids and locals Not going to drive 4 hours just to gamble Wisconsin has a lot of casinos, I’ll give my money to my local casinos

My family recently came from fond du lac for a motocross race in rapid city We usually camp but some health issues prevented thatSo we looked for rooms close by and I’m so glad we found this one! Tammy, the owner, was very pleasant when I called numerous questions She offered us the suite so we had more room

Accommodated our 2 dogs and even has grills there for customers The grills were clean with utensils and ready to use The rooms were EXTREMELY cleanShe even made a point to ask us when we got back the first night how practice runs went It was like I had known her forever Dont miss out on this beautiful place!

I really enjoyed my stay at Bay view motel and will definitely be back if I ever come again the room was cozy and spacious and fit myself and my dog nicely it was easily accessible to a lot of food places just down the road

My only complaint is the room smelled terrible of cigarette smoke, it was absolutely terrible and really messed with my asthma towards the end of it It also was all over my belongings, myself and my dog by the time I left I wasn’t to pleased But hopefully it’ll be a different experience when we go back

Everyone who works here are very nice and welcoming They were also very accommodating The outdoor patios and indoor sitting areas were a step up from anything you’d expect to see, and the overall decor and attention to detail was cozy

Patty ran the best dining experience for breakfast that I’ve experienced in a 3- star hotel, ever Everything was well set up, kept fresh, and Patty kept the dining room clean even when it was quite busy She treated breakfast like it was her own little restuarant business, welcoming guests, and always present, with a smile, to meet any needs

Decent hotel a little on the pricy side The original room we rented was pretty dated and the air conditioning didn’t work I called the front desk and since there was no maintenance on staff, the only other rooms available were suites do they upgraded us for no additional fee

Now the suite was beautifulThe breakfast was delicious and the pool area was very nice The lobby was very impressive as well, nice outside seating area

Juana Rhodes

Belinda was awesome and really friendly The breakfast staff was so kind also! Now let’s talk about the disgusting room

We had hair in the shower, dirt on the shower walls, dust on shelves, and bugs and dirt in the window sills Now let’s talk about the pool There was a film of skin cells and grub on top of the water They do keep the pool room nice and warm though! The hot tub was completely closed

I came to this hotel a few years ago and it was GREAT! I came back this year and expected a drop off in cleanliness and pool quality It didn’t happen The rooms were clean and up to date

They were still GREAT! The pool was clean, and the paint were still bright The front desk was super polite and helpful The breakfast could use some oatmeal, but it was satisfactory This hotel remains a fantastic place to stay and easily the best family friendly place in Escanaba

April Weber-Soerens

This is our third time staying here The pool is great Breakfast is great

The front desk is usually great But this time there was a blonde, no name tag Had me standing at the front desk while she chatted it up with someone on the tanning side The lady had to tell her I was there Then she was short with me People who work at the front desk need to be people friendly She was not I recommend staying during the week Not weekends The week day staff is great

Bethanyk

Absolutely LOVE this hotel! Every aspect of it is 5 star The hotel itself is clean and fresh and the rooms are immaculate and clean also The staff is kind and very helpful

Their breakfast is delicious and always hot They serve a really nice variety of breakfast foods And then the pool Awesome and sooo much fun! There is a slide, basketball hoops and quite a large hot tub Definitely one of our favorite hotels on the up We have traveled from one end to the other and this is by far our favorite yooper hotel!
