My family and I absolutely loved this hotel! The food was great and they had plenty of staff to accommodate large groups at meals The staff were all very friendly and helpful! The rooms were clean and comfortable I’d say be mindful of the rough pool bottom (maybe wear water shoes?) because we did have a couple of skinned knees but no biggie

We would definitely stay here again and we always recommend Drury!

Allyson Webb

Truly outstanding experience! Rooms are perfect, the entire property is clean, neat, and well organized It shows the entire staff really cares about the complete guest experience! I happened to have the opportunity to be in six different hotels between Chicago and Miami over the past two weeks and the Home2 Suites in Evansville was the absolute best by far Great job everyone, please keep up the great work! 👍

Chad Martin

Great place to stay Everything was super clean The staff was extremely friendly and helpful

The breakfast had quite a lot of options The gym was perfectly sized There was onsite laundry available Only thing that would have made it perfect for me would have been a bit more heat to the swimming pool (but that’s just me) Overall, well worth staying here

Danny Wood

Room and bath was very clean Beds were comfortable and clean Thermostat kept the room at the desired temperature

Breakfast was free, hot and good I liked making my own hot Belgium waffles Room was very quiet and parking was free and and almost next to our room door Less than a 30 second walk We didn’t have any problems so I didn’t need to contact the desk Checked in and out with the Hilton app so I didn’t even need to go to the front desk for that Lastly, the internet worked great and was free Home 2 definitely has my business in the future and will go out of my way to stay at one on my next trip

Completely amazing staff! Our stay was for a concert, that last minute got canceled due to weather We stayed a total of 3 nights and every employee was friendly, helpful, and a smile on their face When the concert got canceled and the phone was ringing off the hook, people trying check in and out, and order food from the restaurant, every single employee kept their composure and acted unphased

I highly recommend this hotel, we had nothing but amazing, friendly, service with a smile Thank you for such a great stay

Tarah Taylor

Hotel is great, nice rooms with comfortable beds Unfortunately, the service was lousy The buffet food was not at all good, some of the hot items were barely warm and they were not making anything to order

That’s rare for a Hilton Garden Inn They did not have hot water available to guests (a must for tea drinkers) That is a disappointing first for a Hilton property I asked about it at the front and they acknowledged they no longer put out hot water, and that the staff themselves were surprised by management failing to do this Also, I had to wait nearly 20 minutes for them to bring out more coffee There was a bunch of guests waiting on coffee Management is really doing a poor job here One other major annoyance was that they were charging $3 for a bag of chips the size that you would put in a child’s lunch The clerk said it was “ridiculously” overpriced when I asked how much it cost That is just an insulting price It’s fine to mark things up, but $3 for a 50 cent bag of chips is a really poor business decision on management’s part It makes you feel like a customer they are trying to take advantage of, not a guest

Sandra McBride

The staff at this particular Hilton is phenomenal, from the front desk staff (Kimberly and the others) , to the bartender Christi, she makes you feel like you are a longtime friend of hers (Awesome when you are a female all lone, that travels for business all the time) and David the chef in the restaurant, has to be the best around The food and presentation is impeccable! I don’t have to leave the hotel to go have dinner at a high-in restaurant, because it’s all here! I give this Hilton a 5 STAR +, rating Keep up the excellent job

Teia DeWoody

Was told 139 Saturday night and 99 Sunday night Charged 139 both nights Was told pet friendly

Got there and couldn’t leave my dog bc she wasn’t crated I wasn’t made aware she needed to be The staff was rude as wellLet me add if there are guidelines, when I asked if they were pet friendly she should have went over the guidelines then I take my dog everywhere with me and this is the first time I have ever been told she needed to be in a crate I am very unhappy with this hotel and the staff

Good place to stay for a couple nights! Convenient location to John James state park, and various food joints Pretty reasonable price Clean rooms, shower worked with hot water although it was slightly less water pressure, Tv, curtains, workout room, vending machines, ice machine

Breakfast was consistent and good variety! Waffle maker was so good and waffles were delicious and not burnt Good choice of cereal, and fruit, eggs, sausage, yogurt, biscuits, seemed like something for everyone Even asked front desk for restaurants and they had a list of suggestionsUnfortunately my sixth time staying at this location there were dirty clothes left hanging in the shower Not very nice to come upon

richey orman

Nice clean rooms Friendly and helpful staffShowers actually have plenty of pressure

I know that may sound kinda silly, but if you stay in many motels/hotels you know how important that is, some of them just feel like a trickle and seems like it takes forever to rinse clean!I’d recommend staying here and will do so again if ever in the area

Reachell Chambers

Although the reason for our trip was a sad one, this Comfort Inn made it less stressful Due to my husband condition we required a room with a roll in shower They accommodated us well

The room was great and the staff was very friendly The breakfast was fresh and hot each morning I didn’t get a chance to enjoy it, but their outside pool looks great, a nice and clean area

Robbie Lambert

The room we started in was a corner room It was amazing and had awesome views of the river The bathroom was large and upscale with a nice shower

The shower did leak water profusely, however, but a towel fixed that issue The lobby smells of Something not quite cigarette smoke, but maybe the ozone stuff they use to cover it up? It wasn’t distracting, like smoke is, but it was different enough for a mention Direct access to the (now moved onshore) casino The restaurant is in the casino, so nonsmokers beware A solid place to stay for a getaway evening or weekend We’ll be back

Ashley Swalls

This hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly! It is connected to the casino, which is very nice The breakfast options weren’t the greatest, but that could be because I am very picky The rooms were very spacious, well maintained and all around perfect

The price was a little high, but it was a weekend rate We will definitely be booking our next stay in Evansville here!

Jason Parks

Love this hotel! Every time I visit Evansville this is where I stay The staff is very professional and courteous Every time I check in they greet my like a long time friend and not just a guest

I really like that it’s now connected to the casino and all the restaraunts Makes it very convenient because gaming and food are within easy walking distance It’s also close to the riverfront if you like to watch a relaxing sunset or take a walk The rooms are always extremely clean and comfortable I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Evansville

Our room was on the third floor got off the elevator and a cigarette bud was on the floor The third floor smelled like smoke Walked into the room and noticed a bug on the pillow

Sure enough it was a bed bug Immediately left and went to the front desk and got refunded and left that place It was around 12:00 AM and we were traveling from Florida back home The hotel staff was not very apologetic and we ended up driving through the night instead of staying anywhere It would have been nice if the hotel would have found us another room at a different sister hotel instead of just a refund

Adam C

I awoke to the smell of fresh waffles and maple syrup

Our clean and modern room was on the first floor just down from the amazing breakfast they serve every morning without fail I got a great night’s sleep on their very comfortable mattress and my girlfriend absolutely feel in love with increadably soft angel like comforter The entire stay was incredibly satisfying and made us totally relax during our mini – vacation we took last weekend The only thing better than all the great restaurants we ate at was the hotel staff and especially the GM because from the second we walked thru entrance doors they made us feel like our every need and happiness was the only thing they were focused on In my opinion, this is the absolute best bang for your buck for hotels in Henderson Kentucky!! We will definitely be back soon!!

Sammy Gates

I will say the front desk attendant was very kind and helpful but

when we opened the door to our room we were hit with a musty smell The sink was clogged and there were questionable stains on the carpetcouldve been Cranberry juice, could’ve been blood droplets Either way it was very stained with red drops of something We opted out of staying here and ended up getting a return The lady who helped us was very easy to work with, but the rooms just weren’t up to par for $100 a night Wouldn’t recommend if your looking for a clean, smell free, functional room

My experience at this particular hotel was outstanding! I was here for one night on business It’s very clean and the rooms are spacious The staff are helpful and friendly

It’s conveniently situated between a Cracker Barrel restaurant and a Texas Roadhouse It’s in a low traffic area yet very conveniently located to great shopping as well! In true Hampton Inn style, this hotel will not disappoint you!

Liz Sisson

I’m usually not one to post reviews, but after staying there last night I thought it was worth sharingMy review is mainly for cleanliness and functionality of the room The staff were friendly, but the hotel overall was not very clean

The carpet through the hotel and in our room was old and sticky The elevators were very hot with no airflow Our bed frame had dust all over the top and you could tell that the bare minimum was done to clean our room before our arrivalThe worst part was the shower The water pressure was almost nonexistent and only got stronger if you made the shower colder Very unenjoyable to say the leastWe slept fine and it was quiet throughout the night, but not worth the $120 we paid for the night I always remember Hampton inn being a nice hotel Maybe this one was the exception

Eric Lanford

This hotel is in desperate need of renovation No USB ports Thermostat won’t go below 67

Dingy, dated furnishings No digital key via the app The property needs investment to catch up to other Hilton propertiesThat said, the room was clean, even if dated The staff were all very warm and friendly I stay in a Hilton property about 70 nights a year, so I’ve grown accustomed to their more modern, upgraded facilities While I stand by my comments regarding the property, I came back to edit and give due credit to the clean room and hospitable staff

Quiet, comfortable, clean, great service, and most importantly AFFORDABLE Yes, it’s an older hotel Yes, the rooms could use new carpet, but for the price and convenience, who cares? The room was large, bathroom on small side but I like that the sink was not in with the toilet area

Great breakfast too Oh and the AC worked very well!

Amanda Lovelace

Was greeted and felt welcomed when we checked in despite the fact it was late The lady setting up the breakfast was super sweet and very nice She helped my daughter make her waffle

Our room was clean and the air worked really well (I actually couldn’t get it to 72-it stayed around 68 but that wasn’t a problem for me) I’m hopeful in the future a facelift will happen to update the rooms and carpet removed Thank you for the great service and a great stay!

Terri Bartlett

Family oriented service Breakfast was delicious and well maintained with a mom/grandma care She cared for the children and moms who needed help

Her sensitivity was warming to watch She cared for how the food and area met the customer’s needs Desk staff was friendly, personable and helpful Something I have not experienced in years, but should be normal

This place is alright for a one-night stay Although, it was a bit dirty with old ’60s furniture Breakfast was alright but the waffle maker didn’t have a timer so you wouldn’t know when your food is done

Didn’t swim in the pool but from the outside it looked dirty with some rust spots Remote they give you for the TV does not allow you to switch inputs Beds were comfortable and warm Staff were friendly Outside looked modern and new

Derek Banks

Construction going on Main entrance blocked While the lady that checked us in was very nice, it been better had they shut it down for their renovations

All lights in bathroom don’t work Changed temp to take shower and the dial for hot and cold popped off Booked on bookingcom $308 includes taxes and fees it says, yet check my account this morning and they charged me $350 And it’s definitely not worth it when you have to hear them sounding like beating through the walls until just after 8 pm I check out Sunday, and can assure you, I will not be returning to another

nick traske

Upon arrival the parking lot was in absolutely disarray To our surprise the hotel was under construction The main entrance was closed to we had to maneuver around the breakfast tables after waiting for a luggage cart

We check in to find our room has been downgraded from a suite with a jacuzzi to a standard king The front desk had no explanation for not letting us know ahead of time they were doing this or that the hotel was under construction for renovations We make it up to our room between the construction workers hauling materials in and out The elevator had travel blankets hanging on the wallls While unpacking I stepped on a broken drill bit that was wedged into the carpet in the bathroom entrance After finally falling asleep I was awoken to banging of tools from the workers We go downstairs to eat breakfast in between the workers who were covered in dust from working all night I would not recommend and will not be returning They should have shut the hotel down during this time

I stayed the night of 5/23 and checked out early morning of 5/24 about a 8 hour stay This was my first time staying at an Extended Stay America I arrived around 11:10PM and was let in the by the night clerk

I didn’t catch her name since she wasn’t wearing a nametag I want to first of give the positive before the negatives She was very, very friendly and helpful Here are the negatives: It took about 20 minutes to get checked in She also said my room number aloud I was always taught at any hotel I have worked at to not say the room number aloud and just point it out on the registration packet That is a safety concern for any guest because you never know who is going to overhear behind you or around a corner and then just follow you to your room I had a reservation booked which was in their system from a third party and this reservation was already paid for I have worked at hotels before (extended stay concept and regular hotels) and reservations in a Property Management System were to be checked in so if there were any late arrivals the keys and a brief explanation had to be given to the guest I didn’t get off till 10:30PM and I was exhausted or else I would’ve been there much earlier I got to the room which thankfully seemed clean and not occupied I did have that happen a long time ago when I stopped in to take a look at a room Just there to sleep as I had to be back home to take care of an issue The air conditioner didn’t seem to be performing well and the fridge was continuously running I didn’t use either so just turned them off but still wanted to let someone know It didn’t seem to bad except for the check in experience Also the keyed entry door by the lower end room numbers wasn’t latching properly I noticed that on both occasions of entering/exiting Thank you

Simply put DIRTY!!!My stay originally was going to be for at least 1 month as a business tripWhen I checked in the staff was fairly pleasant, then I went to my assigned room which simply put it reeked of cigarettes I immediately called the lobby to complain and the hostess came up and stated ” all I can do is put some fabrize on it ” to which I replied that’ll only last 30 minutes Then my coworker found German roaches in his

We immediately canceled the rest of the stay and booked the express holiday inn nearby for the rest of our stay

Chasidy Hedrick

First night we got 2 rooms 1 on the 2nd floor and 1 on 3rd the one on the 2nd floor was dirty and had left over food in the fridge food all over the floor Was very unhappy about this room The 3rd floor was pretty clean one of our towels had hair all in it from it seems like a guy that shaved and our remote didnt work

This room was alot better then the 2nd floor We ended up getting the 3rd floor room one more night The front desk ladies were very kind and helpful

I mean, it was ok Would be a lot better if the staff were actually friendly You get weird looks and talked to like you’re stupid for asking for a trash bag

None in either cAn in the room I was there 4 nights I needed a trash bag or 2, dang The maintenance guy is creepy Hopped on the elevator with me every time seemed like and would just stare and breathe heavy Eeekkk Probably won’t be back 😆 I’ll go to the Hampton down the street 🤷🏻‍♀️ oohhh and my door lock was kinda broken 🤦🏻‍♀️ they didn’t care

Update 2022: stayed there a second time recently and the staff was really great So nice and accommodating! Always very friendly They gave me a goodie bag upon check in and always provided me with free bottled water when I asked

Good free hot breakfast The room was spacious like most residence inns Our cat was comfortable I’ve had a lot of bad service since the start of the pandemic so this hotel was a breath of fresh air :)Review from 2019: Nothing special, but nothing to complain about It’s a fine enough hotel

Darrell R. Bacon Bacon

Looks very nice Helped my sister and brother in law move some stuff in there while some major repair work gets done on their house Nice amenities decent location fair sized rooms sounded a little pricey to me but I’m not the one staying there

They seemed to like it but they’ll be staying there for at least a month I’ll ask them how it was a few weeks from now to get an honest evaluation/opinion from them then UPDATE After 1 month there they were more than ready to be at home The only downside to this ResInn location was even with a small rainstorm their tv reception was pretty poor Other than that, the amenities were very nice Rooms were fine Nice pool and outdoor seating area with a full size grill the residents could use Large pond ( or small lake) real close by Outdoor and inside areas nice and clean Very pleasant and courteous staff and personnel Location on Evansville East side close to large numbers and varieties of stores restaurants and all your shopping needs Great place for an extended stay

The room was clean and attractive That was all I liked about it though The beds were worn out with broken springs

Worst of all there were no amenities No coffee NO COFFEE!!!!! They have the crappiest Starbucks in the lobby and offer nothing besides $12 bk sandwiches and overpriced coffee which I personally think tastes like dirt You bet I wrote this review immediately because I haven’t had any coffee I know a lot of hotels don’t just hand out coffee but I had to wait on some lady who was setting out plastic ware for invisible people Priorities

Booked this hotel for a weekend for a room with a queen size bed and a pull out couch We scanned the room for bed bugs and luckily nothing but the pull out couch hadn’t been cleaned behind the mattress because I found a bag of assorted juju fish fresh in the bag Speaking of cleanliness issues: the mattress to the Booked this hotel for a weekend stay

Did a bed bug check and we encountered cleaning issues right away: the pull out couch mattress look diseased and was very flimsy, we had to replace the coffee machine and ice bucket because they hadn’t been cleaned, black bananas were left in the refrigerator from the last guests and litter could be seen in the hallways and stairwell There are some goods; having a Starbucks downstairs is VERY handy, the bathroom was very big, the location is near a lot of good restaurants and shopping It’s frustrating because all these cleanliness issues really impacted our enjoyment of the stay

We stayed here for two nights for a wedding The location was convenient to get to and from the wedding The first night our tv remote didn’t work

I took it to the front desk and they didn’t have any extra batteries, so she replaced them with the batteries from the lobby remote, which was awesome! The second day our room was cleaned at 11am I took a shower at 11:30 am after I dropped my husband off to get ready with the groomsmen and someone from the hotel staff opened the door and walked into our room I heard voices over the shower, but they left quicklyprobably once they heard the shower running They left the door ajar when they left my room, so I knew someone had been there, even though I didn’t see anyone I mentioned it to the front desk, who said they would let management know Nothing came of it Both nights the people above us stomped around, and the people next to us let the door slam on the latch every time they went in and out The pool area was so hot you broke into a sweat after walking in, and the water was too warm Felt more like a hot tub Breakfast was decent The waffle maker was out of order both days, but they had biscuits, gravy, sausage patties and links, scrambled eggs, omelettes, fruit, yogurt, and cereal to choose from Luckily we weren’t at the hotel much due to the rehearsal dinner and wedding, but I’m not sure that I would stay here again after the shower incident

After having troubles finding an available town we finally came across this location It was very late when we arrived by the front desk staff was very friendly and exceptionally helpful Parking availability was fair

The room was very clean and the modern atmosphere was very esthetic The beds, pillows felt so comfortable and I was able to fall asleep quickly The continental breakfast was delicious, a nice assortment of options Hot and cold foods available Pricing was very fair in comparison to others in the area Will return if ever in the area again Highly recommend

Facility great, staff pleasant

1 star, due to room walls and floors being thin Sleep interrupted all night through early morning The room (people) above me seem to power walk for over 45 hours and you can every step in my room Keeping me up til 0100Finally fed up, I called the front desk via personal phone (no front desk # listed on room phone) Front desk staff noted “we have thin floors, there’s nothing we can do”If a good night’s rest is important to you and/or if you’re a lite sleeper please don’t stay here

I had read reviews that weren’t very positive, when expressing those concerns the guy at the front counter was very reassuring and even let us check the room before paying He asked if we did see anything concerning to please let him know so they could get it fixed quickly I asked what if we find something after paying? His response was thet he would either fix it, let us change to a different room, or even reimburse us the full amount, which ever option we chose

We were very pleased with the staff! They were courteous and accommodating! We asked for extra pillows and towels and were promptly given them The room was acceptable We did notice that it could use a thorough deep clean as the corners do have a little build-up from dust and behind the furniture but really other than that we were satisfiedWe appreciated that there was fresh fruit (mandarin oranges and apples) offered for breakfast tooWe will definitely choose to stay here again when in town! And we very much appreciated that we were able to check the room before booking it That alone really stood out to us! I would recommend staying here

For one I did not even get to stay My mother was rushed to the hospital before i had to leave town and of course with bigger things on my mind i did not remember to call the hotel to cancel my reservation After i got a quick minute to step away i called to cancel and they told me you have to cancel atleast 24 hours in advance but how am i supposed to cancel a room 24 hours in advance and its not even been 24 hours since it was booked so of course they charged my card and took 120 dollars away from me for nothing

Very disappointed in this Hotel and how they conduct business All i wanted was for them to have a heart and at least give me my money back for a room i did not stay in very very disappointed, and hopefully they will work with me on helping make this right but until then i do not recommend you spend your hard earned money to stay at Howard Johnson

I was going to give this place a decent review but after being charged for bleeding on the sheet after I started my period was by far the worst Not only that they decided to question me about the blood in the lobby and over the phone on 3 different occasions I have been traveling for over 5 years and have never once been made to pay for sheets if lord forbid my period came when not scheduled

I will be telling all my travel friends and family to NEVER stay here!!! I was planning on staying for the entire 8 week contract but I’ll stay somewhere not so outdated, cleaner and nicer!! I have stayed in some really bad places and have NEVER been treated this way!!!!
