One of the best hotels we have stayed at The bed and bedding was soft and the room was clean Employees helpful and the breakfast looked and smelled good, can’t comment on taste as only ate an orange

Shower had really good pressure and unless you stood under the water for awhile you should have plenty of hot waterThe staircase and decor was amazing – would stay again and suggest this place to others

Michelle Wilson

We were greeted with smile and the lady at the check in counter asked if we were visiting to see the sights or business She was very helpful and gave us advice on places to visit and eat She also gave us pamphlets on places around with directions

The room was clean and beds were pretty comfy The atmosphere was great beautiful Lobby Also the breakfast was pretty good

Chad Kerfoot

A beautiful hotel in a perfect location just on the outskirts of town! One of the cleanest and most accommodating hotels with the friendliest staff I have ever been to! This weekend was the first time the wife and I have ever stayed here but it certainly will not be our last! From the complimentary coffee and continental breakfast, to the king size room and bed, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan on making this our “go to” hotel whenever we’re in the area!

This was the nastiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at Everything was dirty The water spigot in the shower had part of the piping exposed

The TV remote didn’t work, except to turn the volume up and down The TV was stuck on a channel where all the shows were in SpanishI will never stay here again

Natalie Gregg

The hotel is now cleaner because I stayed thereYuck! I’m sorry, but please, just care! Care that a human, just like yourself is staying here! Would you yourself stay here? Ask yourself that!Lobby is nice, & deceiving, because rooms are gross! THICK dust Grime

Smelly Stained One pillow & a sheet had huge brown stains I had to sticky roll & dust the place I had to sanitize the surfaces I swept Seriously though, I stayed here with pets, & it’s now cleaner than when I arrived I completely stripped the beds, threw all linens in the bathroom when we left in effort to “inspire” the staff to wash/clean the room appropriately Also noisyBut seriously, CLEAN is not negotiable… it’s necessity! Please, clean your hotel! Just clean it!

Conrad and Ute were so sweet and made sure that anything we needed was available The rooms were clean and so very comfortable You really believe you are visiting friends not a paid accommodations

The breakfast was the very best The home made bread was out of this world The animals are so sweet and friendly I can’t wait to visit again

Donald Haas

Perfect place to stay Super hospitality and food It’s like a Four Seasons resort in the country

For bikers it is close to the Trace; Conrad and Ute do all they can to make your stay comfortable While all the food is great don’t miss the sourdough bread or the peanut butter/jelly sandwich that should be in your lunch pack as you leave

Russell Aminzade

A truly remarkable, peaceful, and beautiful place I stumbled across it while searching for lodging along the Natchez Trace Parkway Comfortable, beautifully decorated rooms and common spaces (much of the paneling, doors and furniture from the woodworking shop on site)

Conrad, the host, is a serious baker and I really enjoyed his home-made pizza for dinner and his bread that came with breakfast, as well as the very fresh eggs from his chickens Ute, the hostess, took me along as she fed the cows, horses, and donkeys I only wish my plans had allowed a longer stay

My husband and I stayed here while traveling through the area and the check in process was great and very easy The room was clean, nice, and what you would expect when visiting a Hampton Inn The reason for the four stars is that the elevator did not work properly

When you were on the upper floors you had to call the desk to have them send you the elevator Also the water pressure was horrible in the shower But overall the experience was a good one

Alexis Dickens

I had a wedding and had guests from out of town stay Every single one of them talked about how disgusting the rooms were One of the guests had their shower door fall off and had to put it back on

Rooms had food and hair all over counters, tables, and air vents My father even had to make them upgrade the suite because his first room was so nasty I am embarrassed that I had my family and friends stay at a hotel like this Hilton, do better I am appalled

J. J Jenkins

Don’t stay at this hotel if you have pets Charged a pet fee on top of a pet cleaning fee at checkout Paid $115 in pet fees when it should have have only been $75

Also, not clean Found a hot pocket in the freezer where they didn’t clean it Stains on the bathtub when we arrived Do not recommend to anyone

Service was wonderful, and everyone was so friendly and accommodating The room was clean but not pristine One of the two queen beds in the room was extremely unsteady (as in swayed when you rolled over) and squeaky, but we were too tired to care

The people were so kind and helpful that it far outweighs any such issue We were on our way to a different destination, but it was perfect for our quick overnight stay

Amanda Chaney

Very clean rooms Employees are very nice Small parking lot for the area

Hauling a trailer and equipment we couldnt park in the lot and ended up getting towed during the night and cost almost $400 to get it out But they were extremely understanding and let us stay a few couple extra hours at no charge until we were able to figure out the tow company and get a way there

michael scruggs

Room is what you would expect, however when you book online be aware that upon arrival they will require an additional $150 deposit put on your credit card Only notification is a printed sheet of paper on their wall Seems strange the deposit is twice the room rate and they say they may hold up to 7 days

On a credit card or debit card With a cc on file you would assume they would place addendums on check in for smoking damage etc like at 9999% of hotels Just be aware 06/18/22

The staff were probably the best hospitality staff I’ve ever seen at a hotel They were all friendly, personable, and helpful starting from Conner went I checked in The overnight man assisted with our toilet issues (see below)

The two ladies setting up continental breakfast were awesome The front desk attendant who gave me a safety pin was heart warming They were awesome I can also tell they genuinely enjoy working together, as they were so proud of their coworker CC graduatingThe toilet in my room, 230, had toilet issues The water pressure is low and the toilet flushes extremely slow If anything other than urine went in the toilet, it wouldn’t adequately flush down This caused us to take a trip to the front desk at 3:15 am (or so) to retrieve the plunger, only to have the same issue happen when someone else had to use the restroom Ultimately, we went in the lobby for heavy duty bathroom trips The other room I booked, 232, you have to jiggle the handle for the toilet bowl to refill or else it continues to run The missing point is due to the toilet issue

Erik Smith

I am a Hilton rewards member so we always stay at Hilton The staff here was very friendly No complaints about staff

The issue is, it seems like Hilton quality in general has gone down Buildings need to be renovated Our room was ok but the bath tub was not very nice Hampton used to have better quality Erika but our last few stays have shown us either we need to leave Hilton or stay at higher prices Hilton’s We just didn’t feel clean in the room The room looked clean except for the tub The A/C didn’t work properly The bathroom sink we think had a clog because when you use the sink, it drained pretty slow Just loosing in Hilton overall We were in room 233

What a gem tucked out in country We found this place a few years ago and stayed for last 3-4 yrs My husband & children absolutely love Doublehead

The cabins are the same layout…but the owners put their own touches and mark on their own cabins Some have an older rustic flare, others completely updated We have stayed in both and there all clean, well stocked and comfortableWe love the huge pool & waterfall We rent the golf carts, bring our bikes and ride the 3 mile trail every morningIf you are looking for peace and quiet, rest and relaxation this is perfect! The staff is very accommodating and friendly as well

Anonymous American

We recently held our family reunion at Doublehead Resort and used 5 cabins on the rental program Each cabin was well equipped and the setting was awesome Our children rented paddle boards and the staff at Doublehead was amazing to work with to insure each cabin was in close proximity

Sunsets on the lake were beautiful and we could not have been happier with our stay We highly recommend Doublehead for your family reunion, vacation or just a weekend getaway We are already planning our next stay!!

Damita Adkins

The cabins were nasty, spiders were crawling around everywhere, lots of spiders wedds, beds was hard as rocks and smelling old the furniture was nasty and smells ,the stove didn’t work had a bring in another one and the oven didn’t work Bad experience had the cabin for 2 nights but only stayed 1 night

Looks good on the outside but awful in the insideI will never go back ☹

It’s a pretty decent place to stay The whole reason we go is for the pool and it’s starting to go down hill The filtration system didn’t seem to be working as it should

The waterfall lagoon was turned off and the pool is showing its age At least the slide was in operation, the kids really enjoy that I think the pool just needs better maintenance and a little sprucing up The rooms are nice, the restaurants on site are really good and the entertainment was fun The staff was friendly and very helpful Overall a great stay

Janet Ford

Beautiful hotel Nice restaurant The parking lot was full due to conferences and tournaments in the area hotel was booked up

That made it difficult to find a parking space close to the building for entrance with a wheelchair or a baby stroller The 360 grill was good but way overpriced The hotel breakfast buffet was amazing Be sure to get an omelet they are wonderful We will definitely come back in the summertime to visit the pool, it looked like a lot of fun

Danica Boyd

I must say, the staff here were exceptionally friendly! We loved the location on the water, the pool and the 360 Grill The rooms are fine – but they could use a little updating, which we heard may be coming to this hotel They were clean and the curtains made it so dark we slept way past our alarms! Definitely want to visit here again

For what I needed it for it was greatMy family was helping someone with a place to sleep for the night and get a showerThe room was neat and clean

The bed looked clean but I didn’t check under the sheets so I can’t say more than that the outside looked good The bathroom, shower, toilet all looked clean There were toiletries and towelsThe floor was a nice grey faux wood vinyl thing Looks cleanNo microwave or mini fridgeDoor didn’t look the strongest or most secureOutside is kinda shady looking, not enough lightingStaff was friendly, understanding and helpfulI would have liked it to be a bit cheaper but it didn’t require a bunch of hoops to jump through to get booked Just ID and paymentIt’s not a place you want to take your family but if you’re down on your luck and don’t have a credit card this is probably the best option in townI will say that I wish they had their desktop screen hidden from view then standing at the check-in counter I was trying to keep my personal info private and I’m pretty sure the other person was able to view the scanned image of my ID card since I could see it on the screen and I was standing farther away as they gave their info also they put my full address on the receipt I really hope they didn’t give a copy of the receipt to the person upon check outConvenience = 5 starsClean = 4 starsPrivacy of Personal information = 2 starsPersonal safety = probably 3 stars The area isn’t the best and the door can probably be kicked in easilyThe person had no complaints about the stay and left on time so the deposit fee was given back

Joe Woodhull

If there was zero Stars I would rate it that We checked in and there is no running hot water, the lady doesn’t even know what day they will have the hot water on Supposedly they are working on it but I see nobody out there working on any kind of water in fact they are updating the rooms but no kind of activity on the plumbing

Furthermore this place looks cracked out and like too many nasty people lived in it yet there is no smoking in this room OMG 😡

My stay was phenomenal I reserved this hotel because I was attending a funeral I had just drove all the way from Milwaukee and they helped me check in early

They were helpful and respectful The rooms were clean and organized They had wonderful service I did not get to attend breakfast but their food looked amazing I will be staying here again!

Ally Boring

In town for a 2 day class Never been to Florence and if I ever have to come back I definitely will NOT be staying at this hotel again I reserved my room via Booking

When I walked in I was not greeted by the woman working Even though she was registering another guest she could have acknowledged me It would have been nice to know that if using a debit card, Wells Fargo, you’re charged an additional $250 deposit The pool and gym are closed and apparently there’s no ice machine either The desk clerk stated that the pool being closed is on their website; I did not see it and still don’t The breakfast is nothing special The room appeared to be clean, but smelled of urine Room 218

MO Mules

Nice clean king room on the first floor Bed was good but oh my when the noise people above us came in they were blurring the TV and slamming doors it was awfully noisyNice staff, and not to bad of a breakfast

Was advised that Love Truck owns them and trucks are to park at truck stop and walk over Good luck with that Rooms are clean and front desk was informative while not real friendly

Price was above what is now advertised but we did have a cdl discount given Still think we could have found a much roomy place for that money $144 is too much in my experience for this kind of room

Shaneka Banks

Ms Patty Mears, Jennifer and Tina B, was the best hotel staff I’ve ever dealt with in my life! I will say I was surprised how much I enjoyed my stay being I’m not a huge fan of the area but these ladies made me feel so welcome, especially Ms Patty, she is the warmest and showed me compassion knowing after a brief talk that I was under the weather

I do feel management (Amanda) could use sensitivity training there’s definitely an opportunity there It’s not easy keeping good employees around these days so in that area corporate should definitely get involved But overall it’s the employees that made my stay as well as it could’ve been Our truck broke down and it took approximately 1 week to get it going

Courtney Cross

Nice hotel! Pretty good location The room was spacious and the shower was very nice too Other than the little bit of mold in the corners

stayed a few different times The second check in, the bathroom hadn’t been stocked back up & the fridge had previous guests food That made me wonder if anything else had been cleaned or if the sheets had even been changed I understand this is usually just due to a lazy housekeeper especially since the other stays were much better But still very shocking considering Covid is still a major concernBut overall nice hotel, pleasant staff There aren’t many other options in Tuscumbia other than Air bnb’s
