This campsite has been an excellent choice for our family of 6 We moved our camper here about 1 month before we moved into it No one messed with our stuff before we move in or after

The managers and staff are friendly and easy to talk with The kids enjoy riding bikes in the neighborhood with all the other kids or swimming in the pool Our fur baby gets to socialize with other dogs at the dog park The on site laundromat makes getting laundry done easy You can wash a load of clothes and lounge at the pool while they cycle throughThis location has had a positive impact on our experience RV living The community makes it feel homey

Joana Gonzalez

Been here since mid January and it’s been GREAT ever since A peaceful place to stay The managers JESSICA and HER HUSBAND are very sweet and friendly along with the staff

I love how a lot of neighbors are involved in the community, it makes you feel welcomed and at home! Would recommend staying here It has all the amenities you can think of!

The RV park is a work I’m progress Not a luxury rv resort as described but may be in 2-3 years Office, pool, showers and laundry facilities are brand new and very nice

Staff has been very friendly during all encounters There is currently not a fishing pond as described, corn hole games, dog washing area or grass at any sites The sites have dirt or mud depending on weather and there is no irrigationin plsce to grow grass The dog park is very overgrown with no grass to be seen Sites are small and some premium sites only have 1 parking space Premium may mean you get trees Hopefully in the future it will be as described on the website

My coworker and I stayed here for the night on the 14th of may 2022 everything about the hotel was great clean beds clean rooms good breakfast The reason I am only rating this as a two star rating is because my coworker ran into a problem with the lady who was working the night shift she wouldn’t believe him when he said he had a room already and she called the cops on him all because he’s black I found this very racist and very disrespectful he had even already been in the room I had thought very good of the place until this incident occurred but now… I will never stay at this hotel again I’m very disgusted with how this lady handled things and very disappointed in this company for allowing a woman like this to deal with customers on a daily bases

A. Anderson

The room is fairly clean (beside the white curtain has mold), the reception area is nice, the pool is next to the tree so not too hot in the afternoon The room comes with free breakfast and kids love making their own Texas shape waffles The front desk was very friendly!Overall it is a fine hotel

If it is not because of the curtains and the noisy AC I would give it a five stars

James Dukes

Customer service was excellent

room was very clean and I’m super picky towels were very white and clean Furniture in the room very clean The only negative thing I have to say was the cable didn’t work But the manager told me that when I checked inthey had a cable guy working on it I appreciate the honesty and transparency from management

The staff was very friendly very accommodating The breakfast was good and there were lots of choices The room was average clean

Some of the furniture and bathroom fixtures needed replaced The main reason for giving only 3 stars is because the pool wasn’t open hasn’t been open all year and that was the reason I choose this place because my grandson wanted to swim We were told that the pool was open from 10 to 10 and there was a lock on the gate and the water was green Other than that it was good Before staying again I will call ahead to see if pool is available

Chris Hall

This hotel needs a lot of work We ended up changing hotels after we entered our rooms One room had dead water roaches in the tub and the other room had dirty underwear left on the floor

I am 100% sure these rooms were not cleaned by the cleaning staff The front desk lady was very nice and offered us refunds along with another customer who was refunded as well and left She explained the cleaning staff has been shorthanded and did not seem to be doing their job She apologized for that Construction was also going on in all the rooms across from the rooms we were given I personally would not stay here, but to each his own

No restaurant as advertised Only “finger foods” My room smelled like dog urine when it was warm

My room was NEVER CLEANED and I had to ask for clean towels which were small and hard I had to put my trash outside my door along with the dirty towels thinking the management would see I had no towels but they never even entered my room for service I’ve machine doesn’t work No breakfast as advertised and when I asked for my room to be cleaned it never was Horrible horrible service Tv is from the 1990’s and only one person at the front desk was friendly I’ll definitely be telling my company to never book hereever

Diana Morales

The rooms were decent but over priced They advertise breakfast and there is TERRIBLE service in the breakfast area No cups

No coffee, no juice Saw the server rinse off utensils that fell on the floor with water and her bare hands The food that was there, was cold We got no assistance from management and the girl in charge of the breakfast area talked on the phone the whole time she complained about her job and customer expecting coffee

Kyle Behrman

The door system was breaking was the start of the horrible le stay The suite was full of holes and cracks throughout the room The handle on the shower would randomly fall off the faucet

The TV was not even a flat screen and only 1 bed could see a good angle I found a beer bottle cap on the floor of the room The beds were very uncomfortable along with the bad pillows I spent extra money on this hotel because the reviews claimed it was 4 stars The outside appearance make you think it’s nice inside Had I checked yelp I would of booked a room at the Marriot

I got a room for my sister in law a while back in this hotel Booked it in my name, paid with card, and paid the 75 dollar deposit in cash Next morning I come back to get my deposit and the morning clerk said theirs no deposit on file

Seriously? So they asked for a deposit and turn around and keep it? Even had the balls to lie to my face and say I didnt pay one I been trying for months to get it back and they still refuse too It’s ok though, I’ll be going to corporate with this Save your money and go somewhere nicer

While the hotel overall was nice, the rooms were not detailed For example The underside of the toilet seat was not wiped down nor was the floor clean

I had an upgraded room that included a jacuzzi/jetted tub It was nice but out of the three nights I stayed it was only used once It also had a king size bed So comfy and the pillows were like sleeping a cloudBoth mine and my husband’s key stopped working which would have been a minor inconvenience if I could have found anyone who worked there Anytime I had a question or a problem I had to wait at least 10min The exception would be the mid day shift The lady at the counter was so helpfulBreakfast is free but you get what you pay for The sausage is really good though Coffee is cheap but doable The pool is smaller that on the picture bit u was able to enjoy it alone with my husband so that was niceOverall I would stay there again but only after I checked out the competition

Melody Bader

We had to stay here when our AC went out, so we could still get work done while waiting for the repair The staff was very lovely, very friendly and helpful The amenities are excellent, and the location is great

However, despite specifically clarifying that we needed two wheelchair capable/accessible rooms, and being told the were were as specified, the rooms we not The room itself was lovely and fine for wheelchairs, but the bathroom was completely unusable without assistance from family or caregivers It was overall a great visit, but it would have been nice to be able to use the restrooms, instead of having to use the nearby church for the restroom

Scott Hoelscher

Front desk receptionist was pretty rude to us Keeping a credit card on file for damages is very common- but a deposit? Told me it’s $150, but “for me it’s only $50” She charged me $150 anyways

What kind of people are staying here that they require a deposit? The room was absolutely disgusting My bare feet stuck to the carpet in areas where spills must have occurred There was also gum or some other sticky substance scattered all over the carpet In a post-COVID world a guest should be able to reasonably expect a clean roomThey only have one baby crib The plastic “mattress” was ripped and torn on both sides They also do not provide any sheets or bedding for the crib If we had a small infant we would’ve had to find lodging elsewhereHousekeeping left a note the second day saying they stopped in to sanitize the bathroom and that’s it! No towels, didn’t even make up the bedFor over $100 per night this place was a disappointment I simply cannot recommend this property to anyone

The staff from the front desk to house keeping are super nice Suites/rooms are roomy, stocked and clean If there is a issue they will work to resolve it

Location is great, easy access to highway, stores (HEB around the corner) as well as places to grab a bite to eatI have stayed at some of the places near here and it’s just not the same atmosphereI travel to Killeen once a month for work, and this is my preferred location

Jeff Gunter

Wow Where to start? I travel a lot for work and always stay at Marriott I’m Platinum Elite (not that status matters to Marriott), but I’d expect them to at least make an effort

This hotel was gross There were roaches in the room and in the breakfast area I asked for my room to be cleaned every other day and the front desk said they’d take care of it It wasn’t cleaned once in a 12 night stay I’d be hard pressed to find a hotel in America that cares less about it’s customers Stay somewhere else if you value cleanliness and comfort

Richard Montoya

If you’re deciding between TownPlace, Fairfield, or the Residence, do not hesitate on choosing the Residence Inn I have tried all three hotels (back-to-back) and the Residence is a significant upgrade – room, bed, and breakfastIn second place, Fairfield

Beds were “meh,” but the breakfast was very goodIn third place, TownPlace The bed was terrible It was thin and firm, to the point you can feel the pocketed coils If you sleep with a partner, you can expect to feel every movement they make Also, the A/C was loud and not very efficient(This same review will be posted on all three Marriott hotels)

They really take the time to get to know their guests and help them out when it’s needed

Brian

This is our First time traveling to Texas We are in the area because our daughter moved hereOn our way in on 191 we get into killeen and we are like what kind of park is here

Well let me tell you it is a great park The owners are super helpful and friendly the park is quite and gated The sites are concrete with plenty of room between spots One critique would be, It would be nice to have a Dog park area that is fencedHowever there is a really nice park out the back gate it is a great place to walk your dogs or let them play in the river I can’t say enough good things about this place

The carpet was peeling up and there was trash under the beds from other people! The bathroom need help but did have hot water which was nice the shower head had lime scale all over it and the room had faint smell mold! The lamps were broken and there was only 1 curtin covering the window! Room was not good for $70 night we also had people playing music at 11 to 12 really loud which shook whole wall and the person next us when you passed there room it smelled like weed the manager would always leave and walk across to the other hotel had beer in his hand! The room was very clean, well equipped with a kitchen and everything you need to cook basic meals There’s a full size fridge, pots and pans silverware, bowls and plates It was quiet, didn’t hear my neighbors, the bed was extremely comfortable, very soft linens and good quality pillows

The shower was a little dated but got hot instantly Check in was quick and easy, and there was a door right next to my room with key card access, so parking was simple The lot was not full, and I didn’t really see anybody walking around or smoking outside

The room was clean But there was a little musty odor in the air It was 100 degrees our whole visit, and the ac struggled to keep the temperature in the low 70’s in our room

But, with a very low relative humidity It was comfortable The staff was very courteous to us, and helped with any questions or concerns we had I am in the middle of discussing some billing issues with Marriott, however, because our rate was $30 more per night than our rate shown on our reservation from a month ago And there was an unexplained random $80 charge on our final bill The breakfast is so so, but the mixed drinks at their bar are expensive and taste horrible Top shelf liquor mixed with old and generic mixers My margarita tasted like a dead mans foot smells Though the bartender was extremely nice

Tonya Henry

This location is easy to spot from Hwy 190/I-14 It sits adjacent to the Killeen Mall and in the same lot as Panera Bread The suites are kind of small in the living room so if you have more than two people in there, it will be tight for sitting room

The bedroom is a nice size though It is actually picturesque in the foyer The bar was not open The pool area is nice also There is a laundry facility and small gym area as well

Robbie Rodriguez (AR Autoworks)

Location is good Able to jump back on the highway to get goingThe little bistro inside is good for just kicking back after a day of traveling

This location does NOT have free breakfast

Well I must say when u stay here please make sure your door is securely locked I experienced several issues with my room door and the room next to mines unknowing to them until I walked into they room mistakenly at 130 am

scary moment Also the bathroom door doesn’t stay open unless it’s a garbage can in front of it heard the person next to me snoring and them curtains are filthy Then I was promised some award points haven’t seen those yet Bianca was very helpful This location don’t compare to the location I stayed in Houston!!!! Very disappointing!!(service stars are for Bianca)

Lucian Slatineanu

Pros: It’s a newer building, rooms are clean, comfortable beds, and great water pressure Location is convenient and there’s a poolCons: Room AC is loud, you hear everything through the doors and walls, breakfast is minimal, and the gym is just a tiny room with a few weights and a non-working treadmill

Thomas Turcios

I never leave reviews but this hotel warranted one I work for an airline so my sleep hours are pretty messed up I showed up at the hotel at 8am fell asleep at 830am

Little did I know I whole church service was happening next to my room at 10am I had to leave for my next flight at 3pm I basically got no sleep due to all the yelling and extremely loud music I will never stay at this hotel again For some reason the hotel thought it was a good idea to inconvenience lots of people and deprive people of sleep

As you’ll see in MANY reviews, the staff here are OUTSTANDING! If I was to run a hotel these are the people I would want to be running my daily operations They are kind, and eager to be helpful! The value here us great and the hot breakfast every morning is always nice to have The cinnamon rolls are too good yo pass up

Sure the elevator isn’t lightning fast but there’s only 3 floors so really it’s a moot point The outside pool area is such a fantastic place to hang out with your morning coffee or evening beer Downtown is just a 2 minute drive away and only a few minutes to any of the larger neighboring towns This central location is great for those wanting to explore different towns and activities Again the staff will be happy to tell you what’s going on in the area They truly are the reason this place is a 5 star!

Wonderful experience! I stayed here for a month while working in town and it was such a pleasant time The GM Jessica was exemplary and her staff was attentive and kind Being as particular as I am, they served my request with professionalism and kindness

The rooms are spacious and clean It was a joy every morning or evening to greet them as I left/returned to/from work The complementary breakfast was good with some of the best coffee preparedThough there isn’t anything nearby within walking distance, one of the perks staying there is seeing the deer roam on the grounds in the early morning or at dusk Holiday Inn has up’d their game over the years and the Solado location and it’s staff represents the chain with quality service Thank you Jessica and the staff, the CL team will miss you

The hotel it self is clean and nice The breakfast was okay, and the pool was good too It is smoke-free so that was good, however we did smell a little bit of cigarette smell

It wasn’t that strong, but we could smell it Of course the hotel can’t control people, so it’s gonna be difficult to get everyone But if they put a cigarette detector in the room like they do on planes, that’ll probably fix the problem

Don Juan

Miss Liz at the front desk is the absolute best Heard she’s not the manager, well they need to promote her! Stayed here for 2 months while waiting for a house, the staff accomodated every request and did their best to help your situation Stayed in single bed and two bed, good rooms

Only complaint is slow wi-fi so hard for online gaming and the water is never too cold if you wanna take a cold shower/bath

L. Wal

This was one of the best stays I have ever had at a hotel! The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and most importantly clean Breakfast consisted of egg omelette, biscuits, bacon, pancakes, muffins, danishes, bagels, and fruit There was a sweet German lady who was seriously on top of her game! She kept food stocked and was very helpful

The pool was open and refreshing! I cannot recommend this hotel enough

Let me preface this by saying I used to be the GM of a hotel group in Denver, CO myself There is no excuse for the way me and my coworkers were treated during our stayStaff was incredibly mean and dismissive

Only friendly faces were Hector and the cleaning ladies despite that they don’t tidy the rooms at all for entire staysDogs barking and shedding everywhere, as well as cigarette smell in the halls Washers and dryers were never working The GM is very rude I’m not sure how her staff can put up with her because she inserted herself several times as we were gathered in the common areas Seems she is always out for smoke breaks I never felt comfortable in the common areas in the mornings/mid-day when this GM was on shift The night staff was relatively friendly and accommodatingIt seems there is a superiority complex with the head lady and she needs to be checkedI don’t recommend staying here My room stunk like pipes and sewage for the two weeks we were here as well We gave this hotel a crazy amount of business, probably the most they’ve had all year yet we’re treated terribly There was religious racism involved for several coworkers and in 2022 this is unacceptable The Super 8 would’ve been a much nicer stay!

Well I really can’t review my stay because literally 10 minutes from pulling in to check into the hotel they called and said they were “over booked” and cancelled my reservation We had just driven 3 hours to get there and was driving to pull in the hotel when they let me know we had no room No explanation as to what happened or any prior notification so that I could plan something else for our stay

I have travelled lots of places for many years and NEVER had this happen before Best Western will never get my business And bless Courtyard by Marriott for stepping in and taking care of us

On behalf of myself and my family we are very disturbed with the experience we had at Best Western in Killeen I don’t ever take the time to write reviews but this was absolutely intolerable The people at the front desk told me “you complain too much” when I asked them for a new room key

The reason I needed a new room key was because the first one they gave me randomly stopped working On top of that, one of the younger hotel workers cat called my wife saying “Which room do you stay in I’ll be over there later” Unreal Not my fault for having an absolute dime of a wife who is the loving mother of my kids Show some respect Best Western will go out of business by the end of the year at this rate Never dealing with them or recommending them to anyone ever again Bye!!!!!
