The 1st time I stayed at this property, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was and how comfortable the beds where That however was a long time ago This time I was frightened to stay but, I was so tired; I couldn’t make myself pack up and leave!I changed rooms once only to have the same issue in room #2

Mosquitoes and spiders occupied the rooms!I asked the front desk if they had bug spray but, they said noThe rooms where not clean around the baseboards, the ceiling had cob and spider websThe toilet had not been cleanedI am a retired corporate travel consultant and although this hotel/motel quality property did alright by me the first time a few years back, I do not recommend this specific Best Western any moreNo matter what you pay for a room, you deserve better than I what I experienced Your money is green, spend it elsewhere!

This place is in a serious need of an update Missing paint, rusting stairs, dents in walls, broken appliances in room, broken ice machine, emptied pool Though it is cheap and sufficient for a night’s sleep, it leaves a lot to be desired

Access is through the outside, so not recommended for women solo travelers or others worried about security/safety Hotel is right along highway, so ask for a room in the back to avoid excessive noise WiFi didn’t work for me Water was hot with decent pressure Standard barebones continental breakfast included Staff was super friendly The are better equally cheap hotels in the vicinity, so would recommend an alternative until they spruce things up or unless other options are limited

Honestly my dad used this hotel years ago when he had people working here outta town They got us a room and let us check in early, out ac died and the kiddi and I couldn’t take it anymore They didnr make us wait till 3, we offered to pay extra but they refused! Tbry will always have our business even though we are a half a mile up the road!

If I could give this hotel 10 stars, I would I do not usually post reviews, but it is necessary for this hotel The hotel is super clean, beds are comfortable and the rooms have everything you need

The breakfast is a nice variety of healthy, yummy choices and yes, the Texas shaped waffles are real and well worth the stay There are plenty of good restaurants near by, plenty of places to shopBut what is really awesome about this hotel is the staff I have traveled a lot in my life, for work and for leisure I have never stayed at a hotel where every single staffer, and I mean EVERYONE, is kind, hard working, and welcoming They go out of their way to make sure your stay is as good as it can beI can not say enough positive things about this hotel Make sure this is the hotel you choose if you are staying in the area I will not stay anywhere else Thank you to the staff for making my mom and me so comfortable and welcome

John Neiberger

The room was nice but smelled musty and I suspect it was previously a smoking room at dinner point It was clean and the air conditioning worked great The breakfast is not great, but you get what you pay for and it is free

The people who work there were friendly and helpful If you’re looking for a low cost place to stay with no frills, this should meet your needs

This by far was the best customer service experience I’ve ever received at a hotel Coming in exhausted after a very long 18 hour drive I needed to just rest and I was so happy I chose this hotel to rest for the night The price was a little more than I anticipated to spend but the overall experience was worth it

Also it was the holiday weekend and i had no reservation, it was also about 9-10pm The beds were very comfortable, the bath water reached perfect temperature and the HOT breakfast was awesome! All the different options for breakfast really was satisfying I took a nap after breakfast and when checking out the guy was just as friendly and kind as the guy from the previous night They really made it an enjoyable experience

Kaleb Holley

+ Breakfast staff was amazing and the ladies made some incredible food for a free breakfast+ Staff was kind and understanding every time I interacted with themBiggest Con- My room had bedbugs, did a sweep of the beds when I first checked in but after the second night found a lot of bites and sure enough found a bedbug when I checked the unused mattress a second time

I know this is a hotel with lots of traffic, but finding a bed bug after being in the room for a few nights raises concerns on bringing them home so this is not a location I will be returning to and unfortunately will not be returning

Durand Sentinus

We had seen some decent reviews of this Holiday Inn and since we had business in the area we thought it would be more convenient to stay there than a long drive early in the morningFirst thing we noticed is that while the outside and check in area may look updated and in good shape it is deceptiveThe staff is not well trained and more inexperienced than you would expect at a location with so much competition close to their location

They are not very friendly and several would rather chit-chat on their phones or with other staff than give guests priority attentionAs for the rooms, the bed was fine and the whirlpool tub in our room were good The heating/aircon worked well and there was not any issues with noise from other guestsThe wifi is not up to the level we have found at other Holiday Inn locations and there were no USB ports in the roomThere were also obvious signs of “wear and tear” with the carpet, bathroom door, light fixtures and furnitureThere was a breakfast included with our room, but even that was below average for a Holiday Inn and we didn’t try anything that was availableIt was not the best of stays or the worst, but it is doubtful we will stay at this location again

Reynaldo Salas and Darla at front desk very super helpful, quick and polite Everyone was so pleasant They have a great little pool area that would be great for outside chill

We arrived at this La Quinta for a concert nearby We did not have a reservation but they found a room for us Unfortunately after being in the room for 15 minutes we realized you could hear every car on the highway and there’s no way would could sleep

We asked the clerk if we could have another room not facing the highway She was happy to give us a room facing the parking lot We enjoyed our stay and it’s close to concert venues and other spots in the Cedar Park area We would stay at this hotel again for sure

Laura P

We lost power in our home and checked in here because it was close to my partners studio When we checked in there were still items from the previous guests left behind and the front desk employee was fast in finding us another room that was bigger When we checked out we left a pillow behind and the same day I called to ask about the pillow

I was told to call back in the morning, then in the morning I was told to call back in the afternoon When I spoke to the third employee they said no pillow was left behind and when I asked what the protocol was for items left behind I was told there was a lost and found Then they stopped communicating with me altogether I’m so disappointed after such great service to not get one straight answer about where my item ended up

A fully equipped kitchen, two burner stove, micro, full size refrigerator/freezer, utensils, toaster, etc Dish TV with most of the popular channels The A/C really cranks and keeps it cool! I will say this Suite was very nice The associates who work here are very friendly and helpful My wife and I stayed here one night after staying the night before at the Red Roof Inn (in which we paid for 2 nights there at Red Roof and left after the 1 night stay I reviewed that with one star here on google)

I called the morning after a bad night at Red Roof Inn and Erin who listened to my situation understood the dilemma we were in and offered us to come see the rooms here at Candlewood Suites We drove down and talked to Erin more and looking around he lobby it was very clean and nice compared to the night before at the dirty Red Roof Inn Erin allowed us to see a room she had available and we loved it It was a one bedroom suite for a little more then we paid at the other dump Rooms are very clean, have all that you need for a comfortable stay, Kitchen, many channels on their cable TV system, a work area for your laptop, sitting areas, a closet to store your things, and plenty of other storage space to stay a week if needed Just very comfortable and quiet And the wife and I were able to bring our small dog Amazing stay here Will be suggesting Candlewood Suites again for my company collages who come into town on meetings and other associates who visit here And If we go anywhere we will stay in the other associate places Candlewood is associated with from here on Thanks to the team who works here Great job!! What you see on their website is what you get, clean nice place to stay

I had a two day reservation and looked online to see about availability to extend, which was good I called the front desk to extend and did so I was awaken at 2:30am in my hotel room with a cell call from the front desk to ask if I was still planning to arrive

at 2:30am, as a registered guest sleeping upstairsugh !! I am now operating off of 4hrs sleep because I couldn’t fall back to sleep, great job

Sunil Keshava

Location is the best part about this hotelRooms are just okay, the bathroom in our room has few issuesRoom service was not great, we were there for 3 nights and 4 days but the room was not cleaned even once

We were told there weren’t enough staff but I don’t think that’s acceptable when there are guests in the hotel

Shavia Hardiman

My room was well-stocked, spacious and clean There was a complimentary hot breakfast Caveat for pet owners: I make sure to know the pet policy everywhere I stay, so I was aware of the pet fee when checking in and was just waiting on them to bring it up

I noticed they only mentioned it after they swiped my card for the room I could see that turning into an argument between guests and staff if it hasn’t already happened Maybe tell people before you charge them for the room that there will be a pet fee to avoid any conflicts

Motivate To Be Healthy

This review is a little late but felt compelled to do one Came in the night before my event which was Thursday the 21st The afternoon clerk was friendly, cordial and informative

The room was nice and big The bed was nice and comfy The bathroom counter was bigger than most The downside to the shower was the water pressure was extremely low The view was not bad with the exception of the dumpster Had a nice view of a sunset The morning breakfast was not great so I passed on eating it The coffee was doable The location to downtown Georgetown was less than 10 minutes away which was perfect for me to get to Overall a decent stay with the exception of those two things I mentioned That is why I am giving it a four star I would recommend this place for someone who is looking to be close to downtown Georgetown

Mark Stewart

We arrived late at night The check in was easy, and the room was comfortable and clean We left after the breakfast the next morning, and thought we had an enjoyable stay

However, when I got home, I looked at our credit card bill They had charged us an extra fee I called the hotel to inquire about the extra fee They stated that there was a small spot of blood on the sheet, like someone had a small cut that had leaked during the night They also stated that we had broken the toilet seat We used the restroom right before leaving, and the toilet seat seemed fine If you do decide to stay here, be sure to video the room before you leave, so you will have proof, in case they try to scam you too!!!!

Laura Landry

Housekeeping is almost non existent They came into the room and took the soiled towels and trash but did nothing else They did not refill the toilet paper, the coffee, the towels, the washcloths, shampoo, or the kleenex

We asked that it be addressed and was assured that the manager of housekeeping would handle it Came back to our room that night and the old was gone but nothing replaced I didn’t ask that the bed be made or new linens I only wanted clean washcloths and towels and the coffee service being replenished would have been great Very disappointed in the service

The staff deserves a 10 We were here 3 weeks, so they began to feel like family Whether we needed quarters for the laundry room or didn’t see a favorite item on the breakfast buffet, they were gracious to accommodate the need

Kept the facility clean and up to dateThe only reason I deducted one point was because of the trains Whoever chose the site didn’t factor in the railroad tracks parallel to the motel and roadway I am a light sleeper, and was awakened about once a night by a train whistle

MaryAnn

I have stayed in a dozen or more La Quinta and Wyndham hotels, and this location is the best for staff courtesy and helpfulnessWell managed, clean and quiet Convenient location

All staff members were cordial and responsive Thanks to all for great customer serviceSpecial thanks to Eric, Richard, Vera, as well as Jake and Sabrina for taking the extra steps to ensure a pleasant stay

This place is very nice Not sure why it’s only a 2 star, it’s as nice as (or better) than some 3’s Very clean, modern, nice sized rooms, comfy beds, pool, etc

Staff at check-in were wonderful There’s a small bar if you want a beer or a drink Not too far off the interstate Restaurants, coffee shop and gas stations nearby Nice place, I would certainly stay again

I have stayed here twice within a span of three weeks for business trips, this week being the second time The facility is semi-functional There are maintenance issues such as phones not toning out, and lights within the room not working

Upon arrival after receiving a notification to check-in on the app, the receptionist tells you “just for future reference, there’s a fee for early check-in” I don’t know why this is the only Courtyard Marriott I have stayed at that has hassled me about this, especially since there are rooms availableI hope you guys improve your internet infrastructure Either there are not enough access points in the facility due to saturated access points from too many wireless connections from guests, or you need a bandwidth upgrade from your internet vendor Internet is basically un-useable past 9PM It’s actually bad enough that I think “Free WiFi” should be removed as an incentive amenity for this locationTons of great restaurants around the place, though Love that

sp1dey 15

I have to admit, the rooms were a 6/10 Nothing to fancy they were just good not great, but, here is the reason to the 3 stars First the WiFi that was free to the public was absolutely atrocious!! Like oh my! That is not where it ends though

My friend and I decided to just purchase the premium WiFi for 4 something which is …eh alright price I guess for better WiFi(or at least what I thought at the time) well it charged double ! Nine something! And the WiFi was still horrible !! 21 mbps!! What is that ! Like seriously if y’all want to be a top star rated hotel, please please acquire decent WiFi

Dionne Washington

I was double charged at this establishment As they refunded me one amount after complaining They charged me 4

99 twice for upgraded internet fees When I asked about overdraft fees they didn’t show any empathy or acknowledge the fact that I was upset Please check your charges once you leave this establishment It’s all about customer service for me Had they righted their wrong the rating would have been a little better For the record I only slept there one night and didn’t have time to get on wiFI because I was attending a conference They gave me false hope that someone would return my call about the overdraft fees( lady said she had my phone number) but when I called back She said she couldn’t give me overdraft fees I thought Marriot could do way better than this So disappointed

The stay here was Excellent ! From start Adrian at the front desk was Awesome The entire staff was very professional and accommodating The breakfast hostess was excellent, though I was late ( just after 10am) getting down our 1st morning

She still made accommodations for us to eat Very appreciatedwasn’t a hard stop at 10am !!My bed was comfy, my linens smelled so fresh in fact Thank you to our house cleaning host for the extra shampoo 😊

Gisselle Valiente

Travis, the GM was working the desk when we checked in last Friday and for what seemed like the rest of that weekend I am not sure if he was short staffed or what but he certainly did not show it Great service and attitude

Always very friendly and would address you in passing You can tell that he loves what he does and we enjoyed our stay! When our family comes back we will absolutely stay here again!

Bryan Enney

Let me start by saying all the staff was amazing! Very friendly and very helpful, could not ask for more Honestly some of the best staff at a hotel I have seen in a very long time The room on the other hand was kinda lacking

We stayed in room 411, the toilet seat is yellow, the sink was cracked, tub faucet leaked all night, one set of blinds did not work, stains on the walls and carpet, front door does not close properly so you have to push it closed kinda hard I know they are doing a renovation on the hotel but for the $359 I spent I was hoping for better Parking was kinda meh, they are currently repainting the exterior and their lifts took up a few spaces The staff is the reason I gave 3 stars instead of 1

Wonderful stay and will become a fixture for us when we are in GeorgetownDanni and her husband were super gracious and understanding from start to finish Breakfast was amazing as well

The room was very clean and very comfortable The garden area is amazing and almost a reason in itself to revisit And as a bonus, the garden features the only warm and affectionate cat I’ve ever met :-)Just generally speakingvery well done all around!

We just arrived back home after spending the weekend at the San Gabiel House for a wedding The staff, service, and attention to detail were excellent The house itself has a storied and interesting history, and to see it in its current form, you could not imagine it was used for anything else

It is a space that takes you back in time and provides a wonderfully simple ambiance that was quite welcoming All amenities were well thought out, and the food was exceptional While the weather prevented us from utilizing the backyard, the planning that went into the space would make it ideal for any outdoor event Overall, this experience ticked all the boxes Well worth the trip

Mary C Lamb

We were able to book a room at the last minute and were so pleased that we did! Danni and Mark, the innkeepers, are just delightful and Danni is such a tremendous cook The location is really close to the town square where all the quaint shops are We would definitely go again and recommend it for anyone who wants to get a break from their regular hustle-and-bustle

This hotel is pretty perfect! It’s very clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable I slept so well here! I appreciate thin comforters on the bed: I usually get so hot and sweaty under hotel comforters that I can’t get a good night’s sleepBut the real earner of the five stars has to be the manager Marlene! A day or two earlier, I called to change the reservation for our company because I thought it was wrong

I sat trying to explain to a BARELY English-speaking call center guy who could not understand for the better part of 15-20 minutes when he finally gave up and put me through to the hotel, to MarleneYou know how, when you’re on the phone with a stranger, and you can tell she has a smile on her face ALL the time? That’s MarleneAnd she was so incredibly helpful She adjusted the reservation (still smiling), told me no problem, and everything was good She did the same thing when I called back (mortified with embarrassment) to tell her the original reservation was correct after all: Marlene gave a little laugh and said, “No problem These things happen” Still smiling! And I think Marlene’s smiling, gentle attitude affects the other employees, unless this hotel got really lucky in hiring, because everyone was very pleasant and helpful to usTru by Hilton in Round Rock, in my opinion, is a GREAT place to stay!

Very poor experience There was no hot water in the bathroom, and there wad barely enough water pressure to take a showerThe amenities in the room are very limited

The room has no microwave, not even a coffee makerMaintenance had to come twice for repairs of broken windows curtains and for fixing the water issues in the bathroom The place looks nice in pictures but not well maintained

I had a great experience at this hotel The older lady front desk attendent and other employee (large Hispanic male) were very kind & helpful My room was clean, biggest issue, we booked 4 adults and were given 2 towels and we visited the marketplace and no staff was available late at night

The male staffer seemed to be on top of everything from keeping pool towels stocked, breakfast area spotless and replenished

Friendly and very helpful staff with an owner that is the same, helped my family during an extended stay Even checked in personally from time to time to see if there was anything we needed or if we had any concernsPet friendlyHot breakfast every morningVery clean environmentSafe location, with the occasional group of State Troopers staying here as well

Highly recommended with reasonable pricing

Bed was quite hard, pillows are a chopped foam, clumpy mess The shower head(s) need repair as in they are broken AND water goes all over the bathroom floorHaving said this, it’s clean and reasonably priced, pet friendly and the breakfast is eggs, sausage, biscuits with white gravy and the usual breads, yogurt and fruit, etc

If it weren’t for the bed and poor shower in this particular room, it would be an A+ rating from me for this class of hotel I’ll come back

Our hotel room was clean, very roomy, comfortable and quiet Conveniently located off I35 with a nice selection of restaurants to choose from all within walking distance The continental breakfast had a good selection of pastries, oatmeal, yogurt and breakfast sandwiches which were cold in the middle

We will stay here next time we’re in the area

Great location across the street from our event which was super convenient Rooms recently remodeled and were very spacious Hotel was quiet considering it was completely booked for the weekend

Complimentary breakfast in the mornings had a great selection of items to fit pretty much anyone’s tastes Front desk staff was very friendly and professional Hope to stay here again when we return to the area

Very disappointed The staff was very friendly, no complaints on their friendliness However, the hotel itself was by far, a dirty disappointment

We asked for a crib for our baby, and without the sheet on the pack n play, you can see huge urine/vomit stains dried up on the mattresswith zero attempt of it ever being washed You have to request housekeeping, which we did We even stripped our bed and the pack n play and piled up all the towels for them We got back to our room late at night with a tired baby and no housekeeping resulting in no clean towels or bedding for any of us After complaining, housekeeping came the next day, but didn’t wipe the suite sink down or anything it still had dried up formula residue everywhere I could go on and on, but that paints a basic picture of our experience Terrible

The staff was incredible! From the front desk to the wonderful people who cleaned the rooms I was so pleasantly surprised when I arrived We were traveling from Georgia, so when I had looked up the room on booking

com i was so nervous the microtel would be a dump, considering how low the price was compared to the hotels surrounding this one But it was the complete opposite Everything about this hotel surpassed my expectations The staff was amazing, the lobby and rooms were so clean, the beds were comfortable, any questions we had was responded to in the nicest of manners I highly recommend this place! You won’t find anything else this nice for the money you spend

It was a good location and quite Even with the room being directly across from the elevator we were not able to hear any noise outside the room Linens and towels were clean and well maintained

I will say that the room was hot when we first got in and didn’t cool down to a tolerable temp until the middle of the night The room had an odor as if someone had smoked in it but that was mitigated with a candle The mattress was VERY firm and not comfortable for me as a prefer something softer The site noted that the would be a microwave and mini fridge in the room but there was none so leftovers that we had spoiled and had to be thrown out

Had our Global Women Study group (GWSG) At this location I stayed there for one week and everyone was very helpful and accommodating We rented the meeting room for two days and it was always fully stocked with water and coffee

The staff including manager Claudia, Janet, and Brigitte were amazing I would definitely recommend anyone going into Georgetown to stay at the Hampton!

Digital key was not working my entire stay no matter what I did Reboot, sign out sign in etc

Very disappointed contacted both desk attendant, the manager, and Hilton customer service and was not successful in remedying the situation Now I have to carry around an additional key card Small inconvenience for some But when you have multiple hotels you are checked into at the same time it gets confusing and packs your pockets full of useless cardsAdditionally service was atrocious Call the front desk if you need housekeeping or require additional amenities What they should put down is you want something come down to the front desk we are too lazy to bring it to your room I’m sorry, I pay to stay at this hotel you get paid to provide services I hopefully won’t be staying here again IHG here I come
