I really like this hotel I’ve stayed here a few times while I’ve been in town for work and it’s always clean and comfortable Breakfast is usually good and staff is friendly

They even offered me a late check out without me asking because they know I work odd hours Definitely recommend this hotel I do think it’s a little on the expensive side though for what it is $20 cheaper a night and I would give 5 stars

Good room Tiny, Tiny Bathroom I feel for heavier set people

The room smelt good Breakfast was limited on options but it did the job Pool was good Could be busy could be packed Avoid pool closing I learned My kids and I went in the middle of day and it was empty for the 2hrs we stayed in it I had a late checkout request and it was honored Overall a pretty decent place and Id stay again It’d be my first choice out of the other hotels in the area

Good: This hotel provided incredible customer service and extremely comfortable beds Great breakfast with a variety of options (more fresh fruit would be appreciated) with a relaxing pool + hot tub and free access to the nearby Anytime Fitness for AmericInn guestsNot so good: The rooms have a musty smell which sometimes made it hard to breathe—it is likely due to the humid climate and proximity to the Mississippi River, however dehumidifying the air with the air conditioner and opening the window fixed things

The bathroom was a little small but did the jobOverall good stay Would come here again!

Girl at the front desk was quite rude when we asked about a smoking room

due to the nice note on the mirror that says please let us know if u want a smoking room so we did and she was like no I cant change u cause now the room is dirty then we went to went to the pool area it was gross and dirty then when trying to shower the tub didn’t drain so u needed to hurry and shower before the tub filled Will not recommend this place to anyone!

Horrible housekeeping place could be nice but it’s lacking care Staff isn’t very friendly except the afternoon lady at the front desk older women other then that can’t say much Not to mention the fire alarm has been going off all day and 2 nights in a row now when people have to get up early for work and wakes my child out of a dead sleep

And the dogs barking that someone left in their truck in cages all night Where I am from its illegal to leave your pets in a hot vehicle let alone locked in cages as well Won’t be returning

Wildwood Resort is a beautiful place for a getaway The cabins are in excellent condition with a mix of rustic log home feels and modern appliances and fixtures A cozy setting for a romantic getaway, a weekend away with friends/family, or a quiet retreat–whatever you need! Located on Bass Lake with gorgeous sunset views, great fishing, and a sandy beach to enjoy, what more could you need?! Can’t wait to go back!

Planned my sister’s bachelorette party in Grand Rapids and stayed at Wildwood Resort It’s a small resort, which made it feel intimate and relaxing (also a nice perk during covid) The cabin was super nice – it was updated and had everything we would ever need in the kitchen (minus the food)

We went hiking on an overcast/rainy day and took kayaks and paddle boards out on the sunny day Also went to Rapids Brewing and Zorbaz nearby Loved the location and would definitely like to go back in the future!

The room layout is similar to many other hotels However, our room was a bit wider and the bathroom was more spacious than most There were a few little things that made it not a five star (leaky bathtub faucet which didn’t make a noise, the remote didn’t have a back for the batteries’ area, and the lamp by the chair wasn’t working)

All minor things that were then reported on the little card in the room that asked guests to report housekeeping or maintenance concerns The room was quiet Breakfast had hot and cold items (eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, etc) My new favorite is the cappuccino option The staff was very nice and kept on top of the breakfast area needs There is a spacious, pleasantly decorated lobby The grand pantry had a variety of options

Quite a pricey place but you feel like you’re getting your moneys worth Nice little store they have next to check in Has snacks, drinks and pool stuff

Pool area was nice Breakfast was wonderful and had lots of options Next to Target and Walmart which is also very nice Next to lots of restaurant options Good place to stay The rooms were also very nice as well as was the staff

Sarah & Matthew Barnes

We had an excellent time! We stayed two nights with 6 adults and 4 kids The extended stay room plus an extra room were perfect They were even accommodating by booking us rooms right next to each other! The pool was fun, breakfast was good

The extended stay kitchen supplies were a little lacking (the only serving spoons were slotted which was difficult with chili) but all in all everything was clean and well maintained

I thought everything was really good except for one minor issue The rooms were clean and everything worked They had a good breakfast bar, though I missed it

The pool was good The staff was very friendly and helpful Here is my very minor complaint – the guest dryer was awful The lint trap appeared to be partially to fully clogged up The dryer hose was 6 ft long It came out of the dryer, went left by the wall, made a u-bend, came back to behind the dryer, and then entered the exhaust hole in the wall Who knows how much lint is caught in there? Anyway, the saving grace was that the night desk clerk allowed me to use there linen dryer to finish drying my 25 loads of laundry A+ for her helping solve my problem

The hotel staff were very friendly Helped my wife and I find a great place to eat dinnerHonestly, the only complaint I had was that the shower was very small and only had a glass partition with open entry

As a large man, I was uncomfortable in that it was difficult to move freely in the shower A tub with curtain or larger shower stall would be great for a person my sizeAll in all, great hotel and good experience

Room was not cleaned prior to our stay We found crumbs and nail clippings in the carpet One pillowcase had cosmetic smudges on it

The other bed had a pair of black socks in between the sheets Towels were changed, but that’s about it The night clerk was very kind But that does not make up for housekeeping’s lack of responsibilityWe will not stay here again, nor will we recommend this establishment
