My room was extremely clean and was quite welcoming with soft lighting and pleasant music when I arrived There was a coffee pot with a selection of coffee, a mini fridge, a microwave and a hair dryer as well The check-in process was seamless as well as the checkout process

The pool was a nice temperature and I enjoyed it The bistro served good food I especially recommend the loaded tater tots I did ask for a couple of things while I was there, and my request was met promptly I highly recommend this hotel

Claudia G.

I suspect this is a pretty good hotel under better circumstances I’m guessing they are short on staff The staff that was working was very friendly and my favorite was their Bistro Chef

The Bistro menu is limited and the chef came out of the kitchen to talk with me and made a few menu tweaks to help me get what I wanted (ie some healthier options)My room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet The gym was a good size with reasonable options They need to replace some missing weights, and ensure there are wipes and water for guestsThe hotel could use a little TLC, but all in all a pretty nice place that I would return toI expect facility maintenance and customer service will improve if they can attract and retain the right staff – A struggle for most businesses now

Zach Cave

This place is amazing, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and smell good, the lobby is clean, the whole entire hotel is clean! I’ve recently stayed at the Renaissance downtown and I would recommend anybody that was planning on going there to turn around and go to Courtyard by Marriott in Grove city! TheRenaissance downtown is not even on the same level and you will pay 3x the price! Courtyard by Marriott in Grove city for the wind!

After having a horrible experience elsewhere, this was refreshing No carpets, thank you Lord It was clean, and it was a short quick stay where I couldn’t unpack certain essentials and the front desk had it

Also, breakfast was nice, waffles with real fruit, yogurt, granola bars and juice No pics We got there late, left early Had a place to be

Chris Thomas

I don’t normally write negative reviews but I had a horrible experience with this place I arrived at night and everything was dark with several cars in the parking lot with their engines running I pulled up to the entrance and walked up to the front door to go in when an employee sitting at the entrance asked me if I was trying to check in

I said yes, and she told me that the power was off so I couldn’t do it (apparently the electricity was off in large parts of the city for two days) I asked her what to do, and she told me to call the hotel tomorrow for a refund So I left to try to find somewhere else to stay When I called back the next day, an employee literally hung up on me when I said I was calling about a refund for the previous night I called back and talked to a different employee explaining that I thought I’d accidentally been disconnected the first time, and the employee very rudely said “No we’re just very busy and don’t have time to talk with you now Call back another time” I called back twice more and they took down my information and promised that the manager would call me back because they told me that only the manager could approve the refund Manager never called me back Finally, after nearly a week I talked to an employee who accused me of being a “no show” but said that I could try to request a refund through the travel site I’d used to book the hotel Travel site said they were happy to give me a refund if the manager approved it, but I received an email today saying that the manager had denied the request I followed the hotel employee’s instructions when I arrived at the hotel and I don’t really understand what I was supposed to do differently I feel like I’ve been scammed out of over $100

Michael Dickson

The room is clean and the breakfast is pretty good but I will never stay here again There is always an issue with billing When going through priceline or trivago something either doesn’t bill and they charge again and then the charge finally goes through or they charge $100 charge as well and hope you don’t remember it and they keep the fee and have to fight to get it credited back

Very large room and very clean overall Night shift workers were not much help but daytime staff was great They charge a security fee of $25 per night that you get refunded at the end of your stay if nothing was damaged in the room

Standard practice for hotels but the staff do not mention it Pool was nice, scheduled 30 minute time slots are required Breakfast was rough on the weekend due to large amount of guests and not enough food ready at a time Overall a great experience and will consider this chain again in the future 👍🏽

Andrea Egan

Continuing to be impressed by the Hilton chain This new hotel provides delightful amenities Staff was accommodating and very friendly

The rooms far exceeded our expectations and were a perfect meeting place for our family Such value! Loved breakfast and the fitness room too The lobby was lovely and a perfect spot to play cards as a group!

haylie rude

I am a truck driver so when I rent a room for the night I always hope I can get in for early check in because I only have so many hours that I can get sleep before i have to start working again There weren’t any rooms available when I got here and Lance Frazier at the front desk went above and beyond to get me into a room as quick as possible Plus he was really nice! If I could give him 10 stars I would

The front desk folks & breakfast workers are amazing! So friendly & helpful Shout out to Ms Crystal, she went above and beyond each morning we were there and really made us feel great

The room was clean, although previous guests must have smoked as there was a ‘cover up’ scent The in-room whirlpool worked well, the bed was comfortable, but we did have to ask for extra pillows (why only 3 small ones for two adults?) The pool is right off the lobby and the fitness area is just down the hall; both are maintained but bring your own water bottle to the fitness center, towels are provided in the pool areaA full breakfast was served and it alternates everyday Everything was fresh and tasty It’s served from 6a-10a

Checked in on 5/4/22 Room seemed fine, traveling for work, company paid Hotel seemed to smell a little off in the halls walking through, but what really is irritating that they still are on the protocol that they do not clean the rooms

I put the sign on the door, came back on my lunch break to grab something and I saw one of the housekeepers in the hallway, Unless you need a fresh towel, good luck She said yeah we don’t really go in rooms anymore, so unless if there’s something you need just ask There was a dirty towel on the back of the door on the bathroom I showered last night and went to hang my towel up and found it And now my partner just got in bed after he got in found napkins stuffed at the end of the bed I didn’t have any napkins from anything (He’s travel nursing in Columbus the same time I happened to be traveling and staying with me for the nights I’m there) More than likely I slept in a dirty bed last night called the front desk 5/5/22 at 8:30p man answered I told him the situation, he said it’s possible but what do you want me to do about it I asked for the room to be put on the list to be cleaned tomorrow (Granted I’m on my way back TO STAY THERE) and he said you’ll have to deal with housekeeping or the manager in the morning Best know I’ll be down in the morning Not accommodating or friendly staff

Delaney Dusseau

I booked this hotel online because i was looking for rooms with a jacuzzi and out of the ones I looked at in Columbus this one looked the coolest and decently priced When I arrived I immediately knew it wouldn’t be good The parking lot was a mess and not many cars

I got the keys and went to the room There was stains all over the carpet and what looked like dirt We looked at the sheets there was stains all over them as well I went to look at the Jacuzzi and it looked like it hasn’t been cleaned Pictures of it showed mirrors around it and the walls in the room looked like they have been ripped off the wall I decided to book a hotel across the street last minute The next day I went to best Western to return the keys and to let them know about the situation the lady working in the morning was super nice i told her the situation and she went to check the room per policy She came back down stairs and apologized for the room it had already been clean before she got up there So it wasn’t all there but she said even with it just being cleaned it wasn’t up to her standards She was very understanding and thankful to know the cleaning staff wasn’t up to par

Follow me for more adventures!I’ve stayed at the Drury Inn in several different cities over the last few yearsOne thing I can say

They are consistentThis visit:5⭐ for room cleanliness and comfort5⭐ for facilities4⭐ for food2⭐ for safetyI was surprised to find a conference table in my room! Thought it was funny but I did sit there and enjoy my 5:00 Kickback meal I was starving! And the food, for prepackaged warmed food, was goodMy room was clean and comfortable and the AC was icy which was just what I neededI didn’t use the pool or fitness center this visit but peaked in and everything looked goodI know at least one person had their car broken into in the parking lot overnight With the Drury Inn being right on the interstate exit ramp I guess it’s to be expected due to the quick in and out — however, at $145+ per room per night the Drury could invest in a nighttime roving security guard⬇️ If you found this review helpful, hit the 👍

I cannot say ENOUGH good things about the staff here! We stayed here this past weekend for a volleyball tournament and it was wonderful Breakfast normally starts at 7 but they started early so our girls could eat before we had to leave During the dinners, staff and management were walking around asking if we needed anything

The food was really good at dinner At the pool, there was a staff member walking around asking if we needed anything and she ended up bringing out bottles of water for us There were some dirty towels laying around the pool area and she cleaned everything up and kept a smile on her face the whole time! We really had a great stay!

Johnny Malloy

We 1st stayed here about 10 years ago and since then we’ve stayed about 6 times when visiting Ohio We loved everything about this hotel from the half indoor half outdoor pool to the kickback food and complimentary drinks and great breakfast The staff is so nice

And they were great to my dog too! We’re coming back next week And very much looking forward to it

Our experience was great! We were in town for a softball tournament and the team originally booked us at a different hotel and it was nasty We came down the street to the Hilton to see if they had any availability and the staff were great helping us get accommodations for the weekend The hotel was clean and well taken care of

The room was spacious and bed was comfortable The outdoor seating areas were great to be able to relax outside Breakfast was delicious and complimentary water was a nice added touch If we ever are back in the area we will definitely stay again

Carolynn Zinsmaster

We checked in late on Saturday at about 11:00 pm The parking lot was well lit, the lobby was clean and looked very nice, and the check in lady was polite, friendly, and professionalWhen we walked into our room, you could smell how clean it was

All furniture and items in the room were in pristine condition We enjoyed a shower before bed The shower has enough room for 2 people and the shower drain is a long metal cover that makes beautiful music when the water hits it Definitely a feature we want to keep in mind for our next bathroom upgradeWe opted to add on breakfast, and we sure were glad we did Eggs, bacon, home style oatmeal, muffins, and more were available Our favorites were the muffin and bacon Highly recommendWe ended up needing a little longer in the morning to gather ourselves together, and were able to request an extension until noon The front desk lady that helped us Saturday morning was also professional, friendly, and kindWe would gladly stay here again if we’re in the area again

Manos Koliarakis

My stay was a short business, overnight oneI experienced something I never experienced anywhere else, although I travel practically around the globeI was in the hotel as mentioned for a short stay, had a short, 3 hour sleep in the afternoon and was unfortunately waken up by children running around the corridors, making noise and knocking on doors!Ok, this is their parents fault, but some extra care could have been taken by the otherwise excellent hotel staff

Since it was very cold outside (around 25F, -4C) I ordered inside and was having my dinner before I was able to go to bed once again, since my pickup was scheduled at 200am, when I notice a mouse, coming inside my room below the huge door gap, running around and finally disappearing inside a cupboard! That was it!I was totally upset, and after having to move to another room, on another floor, which the staff very promptly and efficiently had suggested, my sleep was disrupted, to the point that I wasn’t able to rest at all, just before my 16hr flightHonestly, this has never happened to me before, I consider myself lucky I was awake at the moment the mouse entered my room otherwise this could have ended even more badlyThe hotel in general “seemed” clean enough, but if one paid close attention, it really was not and this is maybe one of the reasons that mice were running around, one other could be no disinfection, can’t tellThis, for a Hilton partner hotel is bad image, poor management, but I have to excel on the staff’s response and help to the matter

Absolutely love this place! I’ve got to meet so many people from diverse backgrounds, the environment feels like homeThe ceilings are pretty low in some areas While going to my dorm in the attic, I hit my head so hard my back is still in pain hours later!I suggested to the manager that they put something in to soften the blow

I was told they used to have pads years ago, but they would limit space and possibly be against codeI responded with, it would reduce suffering, so why not give it a try? I was then told that it would only be a little less badI wouldn’t mind being in a little less pain right nowI felt like my questions were causing some resentment and defensiveness, so I decided to stop challenging his reasoning and post my concerns hereI’ll be honest, with all due respect, I didn’t quite like having my concerns being dismissed It’s less about the pain and more about the way my concern was handled (and the fact he never asked if I was ok), but this doesn’t excuse the fact that there are multiple holes in the ceiling from people having hit their heads, I believe anything to reduce suffering is worth it in this contextI really appreciate the manager, he’s very polite and hard working At times he’s helped me when I was very much in need I very much respect him, I just felt like on this one odd day, that I couldn’t get through to him I hope this came across in a reverent mannerThank you

I booked a Single Room for 3 nights Room, Bed, Bathroom was clean and cozy Check in and check out were not complicated at all and I had good conversations with the owner

the kitchen gadgets and fridge could have been a little bit cleaner but it did not bother me all to muchI definately recommend that place and will come back again

Wonderful little hostel is you’re visiting the city We needed just a bed for a Sunday night concert but it turned into so much more meeting people and experiencing the city People staying at the hostel are friendly and looking to make friends, so make sure you chat with people! We had a private room for our use which was clean, roomy, and super affordable

We weren’t there long enough to use the public spaces much but the 2 kitchens, game room, living rooms, and public bathrooms were all well maintained and a pleasure to use Next time I’m in Columbus, I won’t hesitate to stay here again

– The manager, Alice, is an exceptionally hospitable and vivacious human being, taking great care to greet and converse with guests as they come & go and answer any & all questions or concerns- Their night shift head, John R, went above and beyond helping myself & my partner move our room in the middle of the night when we requested with no extra charge & great expediency, and handled the situation behind our need to move with confidence & grace, and was likewise an exceptionally welcoming & cordial human being

– Waffles were great

We stayed here for two nights No room service in-between,which is okay I guess My wife noticed the hair dryer was very dirty

Indoor pool is ‘temporarily’ closedThe only hot thing for the breakfast was buttered biscuit and coffee We are Marriott member and have been stayed in a couple Fairfield in the past, this one is definitely below the average
