Mold in my bed sheets, no breakfast was there because according to the employee at the counter a “construction crew” ate it all It was not restocked after because the employee “didn’t know it was all gone” Also no juice which was lame

There were bugs in the bathroom as well Toilet paper was super low quality Overall pretty mid but at least it was somewhere to sleep

Matt Wood

Do not stay here The picture I took around 5 AM sums up the stay I don’t know if this is a homeless person or staff member, but it’s equally disappointing

I couldn’t find any staff around 5 AM to check me out- Only one entrance and exit in the worst possible location You cannot design a worse location if you tried- Staff was terrible Initially gave me a conjoined room with no lock on the conjoined door The staff member argued with me like she did not know they had those type of rooms- Switched me to another room with a king bed instead of 2 queens like I booked The new room did not have a latch that you flip on top of the door- Management then came in and unlocked the door for another guest they booked into our new room and demanded we go downstairs to get a new room

David Maddox

The hotel room was great, and so was the staff However, the location is very difficult to get to considering the location and how the road is designed, plus the hot breakfast they advertise turned out to be a “grab and go” They said it’s due to COVID but the restrictions are all lifted so I call it a reason to get out of doing your job and being lazy

I will find another place to stay next time and have less traffic hassle

The desk staff are terrific, and housekeeping is personable Lobby, gym, and washing facilities are good But this has to be one of the most unsanitary, dirty, ill kept hotels I have ever stayed at

Second stay, and will not be returning Rooms are musty, poorly cleaned, furniture is dirty, left over coffee filters/grinds left in room coffee maker, bathroom shower stalls are stained and shower heads are crusty due to hard water and poor cleaning The sofa is stained, and I don’t even know what was on the closet hanger bar This place is a health hazard and should be evaluated by the health department You allow pets to stay with their owners, which is terrific- but for God’s sake- improve your cleaning and facilities, please! I wish I could post pictures here- gross

Arrived to see my hubby in the military for a couple days The hotel is clean and updated Room service was friendly and personable

The hotel amenities were a plus Love the access to the pool Breakfast was good, gym was always clean and not crowded You are able to wash and go to the gym simultaneously because they are close by They are conveniently located by Mugshots for great burgers and drinks I would recommend them to friends and family 1st time in Mississippi and I loved it Would definitely return

We stayed one night and as Hilton members we are big fans of Home2 This Home2 was excellent, clean, well staffed, nice rooms, great pool, and full service breakfast was perfect The front desk staff both Fri/Sat were very friendly, answered questions and offered complimentary waters

My only complaint is that during breakfast Saturday there was a medium/large (about 80 lb lab/pit mix) brown dog/red collar in the lobby by the elevators off leash, they had also been out front off leash I am a dog lover, I choose Home2 because they are so dog friendly, and I’ve got 8 large breed dogs However, dogs off leash is dangerous and inconsiderate to other hotel guests I did let front desk staff know, as they were unaware We will definitely stay here again and will recommend to anyone who comes to Gulfport -Guest 426 8/5-8/6/22

I was greeted with a smile and very friendly young lady named Una I was a walk-in because Best Western Manor was just a great disappointment and I couldn’t stay there Una took care of me quickly and efficiently The rooms was clean and nice and spacious

No noisy guests just calm I only spent 1 night here and it was peaceful and safe I remember staying here a few years ago after my granddaughter had surgery You can always count on Hampton Inn to make you feel comfortable safe and clean rooms Breakfast was good also Dry ceral, fresh fruits grits eggs sausage waffles yogurt assortment of juices and coffee Although I live the barnyard door the bathroom should have a private door by itself

Phil NH

We had one night in Biloxi We chose to pay the extra for the Hampton Inn because of the hot tub and pool, it looked awesome Checkin went smooth, super friendly staff for that

We had some hot tub time at night, the pool was murky so we skipped that option Then in the AM we went into the Gulf for a bit and thought let’s hit the pool it opens at 7Actually at 7, the pool cleaners show up to the Hyatt pool AND the Hampton pool (You have access to both, you know, in case one is closed) Closing both pools/hot tubs for at LEAST half the day The pool areas were unkempt, cigarette butts, trash in and around the pool areaThen we figured fine, we’ll use the on site laundry to dry our clothes then head out It’s coin op, with no change machine and the morning front desk staff gave us an attitude when we asked for quarters Stating, “No” No option or recommendation where to get changeThis was a super disappointing trip

Stefanie Jones

I’ve stayed at better Hampton Hotels The only positive was the staff hospitality They were extremely nice and welcoming

There was construction underway that we were not made aware of when we booked The room was not very clean upon arrival: floors were wet, room was stale smelling The halls were hot which could have been due to construction

We had the best stay there! The staff, housekeeping, and atmosphere was phenomenal! I had booked the wrong room, and the morning manager fixed the room for me, and did not charge me extra She got me and my family into a new room so quickly! She was such a sweetheart! The housekeeping was excellent!! They kept both our rooms clean, cleaned our new room first thing so we could check into our new room My kiddos had bad sunburn, and the head house keeping gal got apple cider vinegar for my babies burns, and was so sweet! Saved my babies! We had left some clothing in our former room, and the housekeeping gal put it back in our new room

We loved our stay!!! Highly, highly recommend anyone staying at this hotel! They treat you like family!!! We appreciate all the hospitality, and help!! We will definitely be back in the future!

WildNWoolleys

Our 3 night stay at the HIE in Gulfport was flawless Tyler greeted us with a smile at 11pm when we arrived and helped us when we needed to check out a day early The room was really nice and clean

Breakfast was delicious and the variety impressive The fitness center well appointed The entire staff from security to housekeeping to breakfast attendants and front desk were all very sweet and friendly And, the location right across from the gulf/beach was pretty amazing too! It was a commercial worthy location, hotel and staff!

I would give it no stars if I had a choice The reservation system messed up the date for when I was to arrive I tried to call many times with no answer from the hotel and the reservation 1877 number kept hanging up on me the day before the reservation

I even tried their chat tool The next day I tried to call again Finally, got through to guest relations at 2 pm, and my card had already been charged with a no show charge No one never called me to ask if I was coming or going to be late Guest relations did not understand that the populated date on the IHG app defaults to the next day and even when you change the date it still was not working correctly I wanted to go see my family for Thanksgiving, not May 1st I will book another hotel somewhere else where the hotel actually cares and understands IT applications make errors

Overall a great stay! Location is great right across from the beach Clean and cozy beds Nice people

Convienent parking However, there are a few things that could be improved The tongs at breakfast were in 2 pieces and kept falling apart and falling on the floor We saw Mary have so change them 4x in 1 meal Seems like an easy fix (Also bacon and waffles would have been a great addition to breakfast )The faucet in my bath room needed repairs I would have loved an indoor pool since it was too cold to swim outside in March

Edwin White

During our stay there they only had one working elevator with four floors of roomsAnd a Hotel with two hundred plus rooms and only two luggage carts is absolutely ridiculous No security cameras and the side door with key card access didn’t work, all you had to do is walk off the street into the hotel

Get your breakfast and go to your room because of the very limited sitting area This is the first Hotel I have stayed in with no TV in the lobby This was a very challenging five day stay for us

Can’t beat the price for the location Room was clean (a little dated, but nothing bad) Facilities – pool, breakfast area, etc

– seem well-maintained The most outstanding aspect was the staff John at the front desk was very helpful in accommodating a change I needed from the rooms I had reserved Not only did he accommodate the request, he was genuinely kind about it He made us feel welcome right from the start Would absolutely stay here again

Michael Cloke

We spent a couple of nights Staff was friendly and accommodating The first problem we had, was the key card did not always work

The next problem was the lighting No overhead lighting~all lights except bath area were lamps Then, the smell hit us The bathroom smelled like sewer gas We immediately bought air freshener The A/C was constantly running no matter the setting, unless we turned it off And it sounded like it toddler with a nose whistle The filters inside were clogged with dustThe furniture was nasty and falling apartI understand that the humid salt air has a negative impact on metal surfaces, but the rusty fixtures were a turn off I also understand that carpet in motel rooms by the beach is a bad idea (sand), but the laminate floor always felt grittyWe earned two free nights through Choice Privileges and this is what they gave us Seriously considering cancelling our membership

Sarah Baker

Perfect for the money spent The room was a typical hotel room Nothing fancy but it was clean and the beds were comfortable

Staff was super helpful and friendly The breakfast was tasty and filling Conveniently located to the area restaurants, casinos and activities Pool was clean and closely montiored by staff for excessive rowdiness I will definitely stay again if we ever return to Biloxi

The only good thing about here is the pool area For what you pay, the rooms are not a good size The air conditioner was absolutely horrible (was not just our room, I spoke with others as well)

The room never got cool/cold at any point during our stay There was no garbage can besides the small one in the bathroom There was no closet for storage/clothes Parking spaces were fairly tight for modern vehicles You also put a “resort and incident” fee at check in, which In my opinion, is just a money hungry tactic You pay so much to stay at this “resort”, the fee should be included and if myself (not my guest) cause an “incident” that portion of the fee should be returned There is no reason I’d return here, I can find a nice pool else where Other surrounding places have a decent pool with nicer accommodations

Kevin Hogan

We just returned home yesterday We stayed in room 6225 The room size for us was good, but the air conditioning must be repaired for us to stay there again

there are many pluses to the place the grounds the pool the beach across the street The house keeping group was great very friendly and helpful as was the rest of the staff The elevator broke down two days in a row but did get repair I like the fact they have Veteran parking spots 2 per building a nice touch Our grandkids loved the pool area Very family friendly resort There needs to be more drawers for your cloths There was only 3 small drawers in our room

A. E.

Pros: Beautiful hotel grounds Lobby and public areas fairly clean, despite many guests Pool area was fun, even for our 14 y/o daughter, who was older than most of the kids there

Cons: Rooms very overwhelming with air freshener Ceiling a/c vent was full of black mold Shower and toilet had not been cleaned, or at least cleaned well, as there were many child-sized hand prints and sticky goo all over One of the beds had a URINE SOAKED mattress, and the smell was overwhelming We could not get another room, because there were none available, and ended up buying a comforter at Walmart, and sleeping on top of the hotel bedding to tough out our stay of two nights I understand that many kids stay here, but it was still disgusting When I informed the desk clerk upon checkout, all she could say was “I’m sorry” 🤷🏻‍♀️

I will most definitely visit this property again hands down Best experience ever

April Mccally

Was only in for the night I do appreciate all the sitting space available in the lobby area Didn’t utilize the dining but they did have many options available

The pool area looked niceI loved the dog treats and pickup bags in the lobby for those traveling with dogs

Pete P

The nice thing about Hilton Garden Inn is that they are mostly cookie-cutter buildings with almost consistent experience! Business traveler friendly and even though nothing luxurious, very efficient They mostly have a basic bar and restaurant for breakfast and dinner, which is convenient for nights coming in from a long day’s work This one is no different even though the staff was very friendly and quick

The restaurant food was on par for the price, so overall, a little more than I expected for a quick overnight stay for an early morning flight home

This hidden gem is absolutely perfect for anyone looking for a place to stay Every member of their staff, was friendly, and extremely helpful The breakfast was delightful and through the breakfast rush they kept everything well stocked

It’s in the details that you can tell that the staff truly wants visitors to enjoy their stay The hotel is only about 10 yards from the beach We stayed for 4 days and absolutely adored this hotel Can’t wait to come back again next year

Jon Sagona

I picked this place because of two reasons One it’s away from the tourist traps and two The breakfast! Buffet style with a made to order pancakes

The gulf view room was way better than I had expected Only mark against was the bathroom had a little wear and tear, but not something that is a deal beaker at all Very minor stuff The pool is nice and the staff is very helpful and welcoming There is some work being done but very quiet Even provides the quest with apples and bananas I really can’t say enough about this hotel I will be back to it My new second home

Ken Weber

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights and had a wonderful experience The room was very clean, all of the staff was very friendly, and we enjoyed the beach view from our window The hot breakfast was always a treat and far above what we would typically get from a chain hotel

The location of this hotel was ideal for us It is on the quieter end of the strip and close enough to the beach that we could simply walk over to it We look forward to the next time we can spend time there!

We checked in today and the room was warm, but we just thought it needed a little time to cool off We went eat dinner and returned around 8 to a warm room The hall was cooler than our room

I called twice and both times they stated they would get someone to call me and put in an urgent order, but no call received I was told there were no other rooms available and that we were just going to have to in a sense deal with it I am so disappointed and appalled that we are going to be subjected to such sub par standards and service Furthermore, the receptionist did not even appear to be concerned or helpful to resolve the AC issue

Lolly Griffin

Absolutely perfect Quiet and CLEAN Housekeeping is fabulous

I was there 4 days and when I tell you they clean a room…they really clean it! The price is well worth it If you have trouble getting around book downstairs It is a straight up climb to second floor I had a king on 2 They have 3 rooms up there that have balconies The ladies let me peekThat’s where I’m staying next time Already booked again There’s no front desk and the only people there are the ladies cleaning Ice machines and snacks in your room Best part of the Mississippi coast It’s so peaceful and relaxing in that area Also their restaurant that is attached is wonderful I had one of the best filets ever anywhere Attentive employees and ownership Can’t recommend enough

We stayed two nights Comfortable bed Nice service

Great ac Bathroom was very clean but when we woke up after staying the first night There was a drop of blood on the pillow that’s a sign of bedbugs We searched the bed Didn’t see anything Didn’t think anything of it Didn’t tell front desk Next night woke up in the middle of the night There was more blood… we left at 2:00am cause we were disgusted We got home and stripped on the porch and threw our clothes in the washer Put our other clothes that we brought in bags and parked our car in the sun I got our clothes out of the dryer and there were two bed bugs sitting in the dryer dead I called the hotel and they took my number down and said the manager would call me they have not called me to reach out Aside from the bedbugs everything was nice 🫣

And aesthetically pleasing*Pool room was heated, and so was hot tub, with pool towels stocked And again, VERY clean!*Cleaning lady was nice, and gave us extra towels and shampoo when we requested it

*Price was reasonable*And I can’t say it enough, hotel was super clean!Cons:(And reasons for ALMOST losing a star)*Ice machine was out on 6th floor*No curtain on shower, so it was hard not to get the whole floor wet*No free breakfast, and if I was paying the weekend prices, I would expect it, not bad for weekday prices though

This hotel is terrible due it’s lack of cleanliness especially being a reputable brand name hotel Beds haven’t been changed carpet very dirtyThe sanitation at this hotel is definitely a big issues If I could give this hotel a zero I would because the website for this property is false advertising

Someone needs to inspect this property for a lot of safety and health code violations

We appreciated the free parking when we arrived Check-in was fine You have use the bell service to use the luggage cart which just means you need to tip someone to do something you are perfectly capable of doing yourself

The rooms were VERY dated Our room faced a parking lot, but we were only there for 2 days so not a big deal No security using the elevator which is usual at a casino hotel There is no daily room service, but there is an envelope to leave a tip for …well, I’m not sure what since we made our own bed every day The phone in the room did not work, so we were unable to call down to the front desk or request bell service when we left We finally just used our cell phones to make a request They met our expectations of cleanliness and comfort The room was quiet and we got a good nights sleep I recommend this hotel if you are just there for the casino, but if you are sightseeing it’s not near much

This should be read with a somewhat understanding of the current labor shortageHotel is in need of some serious upkeep Rooms felt uncleaned and were very cramped for space

Sheets were worn and frayed, but the bed was overall comfortable and smelled cleaned Very dim lighted bathroomCasino was quite the let down Dealers were nice and pit bosses were easy going, for the most part That being said, if you’re looking for 24/7 gaming action, you will be in for a let down Not only did they only have 1 table open per game, they also shut down card games after 1am Slot action was decent but with limited options and play levels Additionally, if you fancy liquid refreshments of any kind while you play, you might want to bring your own beverages While the wait staff was very friendly, they were severely short-staffed and spread quite thinAll in all, if you just want a bed and a daytime place to try your luck, this is not a bad place for the priceAlso, it seems fair to say that this area has been hit pretty hard by the economic and atmospheric storms over the years and does appear to be in “rebuild” phase

The hotel is in a great location The rooms are well kept There is not a microwave or refrigerator in the rooms, however you can rent one for 10

00 a day Towels are available upon request The meals at the mix and mingle were very good, however again you pay for those yourself The slots are very tight, so gamble accordingly The staff is very attentive and helpful The pool area is very nice and well kept, except for the long tubing which cost 900 each Again use common sense

Such a great location and the room had an amazing ocean view! I loved waking up every morning and opening the curtains The outlets are not that far away along with other stores! 100% recommended Breakfast was the standard waffles, pastries, scrambled eggs, and toast

However, bottled water was free all day, which made me very happy! Service was amazing! I took very early flights and was extremely tired I called to see if I can check in early and they said yes without hesitation I was so grateful!

Overall very happy with our stay Would be happy to stay again! Double queen room was plenty enough for 2 adults and 3 kids Kudos to the establishment for keeping a clean environment and having friendly staff Location about 10 minutes from beach Hotel is a straight shot with restaurants on the strip if you want to eat out

Sofia

We had a great time here! The room was spacious and impeccably clean The location was good for us as it was 15-20 minutes from the air base, beach, and other attractionsJust know that the breakfast area gets very crowded in the morning and the line is long

I would book a stay here again the next time I visit the area

James Godkin

Establishment was clean and well maintained Receptionist was very friendly and answered any and all questions Did not interact with much of the staff but all seemed friendly and courteous, a daily greeting means a lot this day and age

Morning breakfast was adequate for a hotel breakfast If I am in the area again this will be my place of choice to stay

Okay so here is my candid reviewUpon entering the building, I saw a man smoking a cigarette I told myself “Maybe he couldn’t wait, being that he was walking towards the outside doors

” However, as I kept walking towards the hotel elevators, I saw that a lot of people were smoking I guess it’s a casino thingIs it a thing? This was my 1st time at a casino and it was interesting I didn’t understand any of the games and what to do to win Guess what? I did win some money You also get free alcoholic beverages while you’re playing on the machines That was cool!My room was nice and neat The pool area is nice as well There is a bar and a jacuzzi as well The weather was perfect this weekend tooThe only personal complaint I have is the smoking I don’t smoke and I hate to smell it and/or smell like it That cheapened the hotel experience for me Apart from that, I had a good experience

Stayed here recently with two young kids and it was not comfortable at all To be honest I wouldn’t stay here even if I was traveling without any kidsPros: The water in the room was hot

Front desk and housekeepers were very nice and friendlyCons:Valet service was closedOnly one bell hop was working which is fine, I can bring up my own luggage, however, no additional luggage carts were available My poor husband had to make four trips up and down the busy elevators to bring up all our stuff3 elevators are available to service guests Good luck if you catch it around a busy timeSet the room at 68 and it never got cold, just felt like it was only blowing airNo microwave in the room, $30 additional charge to get oneBeds were creaky and hard

The room was nice and clean! But it was the customer service I received that lead me to this review From check in to check out was fabulous! I was traveling alone and as a lady I was very cautious When asked I was escorted to the room with a manager, unfortunately I did not get his name

But at Infusions, I did get to know them and complimented the service You know COVID has taken the pleasantness from lots of people in the service area, however every time I was greeted by Terry, is was a smile and small talk When I asked to meet the night manager, he thought he did something wrong When Nancy came out, I had to let her know her employees, who are hard to come by, were a pleasure Brandon and Terry went above and beyond! My Spirit in people had started to diminish but not at IP When I left that falling spirit was lifted as high as can be Thank you my friends for make my trip comfortable and peaceful Mama needed a break from home, and what a blessing I received!!

The lobby and meeting area is beautiful and modern The room not so much It was clean and in good repair but you could tell the age of the hotel

The ac/heater was VERY loud and sounded as if it was on its last leg The bathroom was tiny and the mattress was not what we generally I’m experience in our Marriott stays I had wanted to stay here near the harbour for a long time now and I am so glad I did not pay summer prices for it Not horrible just not what I have come to expect from my Marriott stays

Michael Crain

Every staff member we met was a friendly personality with an aptitude the service Thank youFacility itself is in good shape with a uncommonly huge pool

Everybody loved itThe rooms were OK Although the air conditioning units produce a massive amount of water on the carpet with the humidity outside It felt like half the room you had to walk barefoot to keep from soaking your socksAlso there were items left in the room from the previous guest As in two coolers food, and socks

Mary Kelley

The view is great and the rooms are clean The beds are flat and felt like they needed to be replaced a few years ago The a/c unit is loud, but it works so the room stayed nice and cool

The service is friendly and attentive I’d give them 5 stars if they had a better bed As someone who travels often, a good mattress in a hotel is a big deal!
