A really ok place to stay 👍🏻Room was comfortable and quiet (slept really well) Beds were comfy and pillows perfect with very clean linens It’s not a brand new facility, so it shows a little wear, but all in all, just right

I very much appreciated the great shower head The staff were especially pleasant and accommodating Room rates also just right I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay here again

Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews I found no less than 3 written by the manager Look at the names of the positive reviews

You will find that all have something in common This place is FILTHY! Would give 0 stars if I could TV barely worked, all the sheets and towels were stained (I had to ask for towels 3 times before I got them and ended up not using them they were so stained) Mold in the bathroom and the caulk around the tub falling out Room was all tore up scrapes and burns from candles all over the walls You can get a pretty good contact high walking down the halls If you want it a little quicker, spend some time in the elevator I asked for a different room and was denied When I canceled my second night I was offered a different room The only plus is pets stay free It was worth the extra $10 a night to switch to the La Quinta Inn Clean, pets stay free and didn’t have to worry about popping positive

Our experience with this hotel was dreadful to say the least After completing check in, the hallway to the elevator, as well as the elevator itself, reeked of marijuana Which made my pregnant wife sick

Upon entering our room, we noticed scorch marks on two different walls and noticed the alarm clock was brokenAfter my wife getting sick she just wanted to take a shower and lay down She noticed the towels were dirty and had dried urine stains on them I took them to the desk clerk to exchange them for clean ones Which the clerk replied with “I’m just here to do MY job” After a further exchange and receiving newer towels I went back to the room only to discover that these towels were dirty and stained as wellMy wife just decided to go to bed, as we had a long day on the road At this point it was around midnight and the neighboring room was obnoxiously loud and inconsiderate while another room’s guests were constantly running around the halls, traveling between rooms After a while, I went downstairs to retrieve my phone charger from the carWhen outside I observed a man of undesirable demeanor between cars, looking at them, while playing loud music from his own vehicle improperly parked I looked at the exterior walls of the hotel and realized their security cameras were lacking As a Military Veteran, I try to be aware of the situation and lacking advantages I retrieved my charger and hoped our car wasn’t going to be broken into while back upstairsBack in the hotel room, it seemed like every time we tried to close our eyes for sleep, the neighbors acted up and got noisy again At about three in the morning it finally quieted down At about seven in the morning the noise picked back up Upon groggily waking up, I noticed bed bug bites on my left arm That was the last straw and we checked out immediatelyGiven the entirety of our experience, I would give this place a 0/5 However, the minimal amount allowed is one star What I would recommend this hotel should do is have a noise curfew in the later hours like the Days Inn, bug bomb the rooms, and ensure clean towels and linens for their guests But until they do, learn from our mistake and don’t stay here

I’ll preface this review by saying that the staff members were incredibly nice and hospitable The breakfast was awesome and the location of the hotel is great There was an issue with the hallways during our stay

The lobby and rooms were climate controlled, but there was minimal to zero airflow in the hallways They were muggy and hot Incredibly uncomfortable experience that did not change over the 4 days we were here Also, while this experience was unique to my room from our group of 5 rooms, my electronic deadbolt wouldn’t engage I could lock the door at night from the inside, but once I left the room, I had no way to secure my room and anyone from the hallway could have easily accessed my items by simply opening the door I brought this need to the attend of the hotel maintenance team and the GM, but it was not resolved over my 4 day stay We were also never offered the opportunity to change rooms and only received updates on the repair’s progress if we asked the front desk We really love this hotel, but this most recent stay left much more to be desired for $170/night

Excellent hotel, extremely clean Danny checked us in and out the next day She was amazing

She went above and beyond She is definitely a huge asset to this hotel location and to the Hilton Hotles family I was able to observe her with other customers and she treated them just as good as she treated me and my daughter We will definitely be visiting again Rooms were very clean Breakfast was amazing and there were so many options I cannot wait to come back to Houma and stay at the Homewood

Nice hotel with friendly staff Large room and comfortable bed All of the major items are checked off

Hotel really needs a refurb My TV was broken Computer chair was very wobbly and sat leaning to one side Carpet was stained and sticky (not just in the stained area There is mold growing in the shower On the side the headboard of the bed is all scratched up and for a $200 plus room they need to pay closer attention to finer details The Wednesday night social was very nice and the breakfast had the best flavor or just about any hotel breakfast that I have had

I loved this hotel, even during a power outage when a storm/rainy weather came through – as expected from weather forecastsFrom the time my colleagues and I checked-in, Front Desk staff were pleasant, patient and knowledgeableThe rooms were very nice, clean and loved the sanitary steps as well

Conveniently located to dining, shopping Wish they had more entertainment options available w/in the city, but otherwise it was a pleasant experience I give them 5 🌟!

Facility is nice, but heavy smoking by guests and staff in the pool area ruined a space that otherwise was very nice Only one elevator, and it’s painfully slow Rooms and desk staff were great

The ladies working the coffee bar were efficient, but seemed like they probably aren’t treated well by guests, they appeared pretty unhappy

Lewis Mingledorff

This place has a very professional, courteous responsive staff and they work hard and do a good jobThe parking was ample and seemed well litThe facility is very clean and tidy including the low number of functioning elevators

The room was spotless and very comfortableLow water pressure in a cramped shower from wall to curtain makes for a less than satisfying experience for a large-ish person The shower curtain was very shortTP seemed to be very cheap low quality single-ply type The toilet seat was flimsy and slid from side to side off of the rim of the bowlThere are no USB charging points in the room I stayed inThe television was intermittent during rainy weatherThere are very nicely kept-up leisure, work-out, and pool facilitiesThis property was good over-all and while it was not inexpensive it is not out of line price-wise with other similar hotels in Houma

We stayed here during Mardi Gras for the first time Check in was a breeze and the room was a good size As soon as my head hit the pillow I was asleep

The mattress is very comfortable Their housekeeping team was phenomenal and the included Breakfast was a hit each morning No problems experienced during off stay The guest that was above us had small children and they must of had an overloaded of sugar for breakfast because this particular morning they ran around their room for about an hour straight

Sharney Levasseur

We much enjoyed our stay The rooms were spacy, clean, and invitingMy only two cons were:1

The walls did not block sound as well as expected2 The front desk gave the name and room number of someone in our party to someone that walked in and asked I don’t know the hotel’s privacy policy, but I was extremely appalled that this was possible
