This was an overall great experience The service was great, location was good, and amenities were nice I love these are true suites with full kitchen

The only thing was the room had two AC units one for the common area and the other for the bedroom They both would not work at the same time and did not keep the room at a consistent temperature I love that the washer and dryers take debit/credit cards, it is so convenient The breakfast was your typical continental breakfast I loved there selection of hot tea I would definitely recommend this hotel

mike Todd

Disgustingly dirty for almost 200 a night never again!! The front receptionist was great and accommodating but was the only positive to my weekend trip! Oh well u live u learn I won’t be back and should be ashamed to have Hilton in there name because every Hilton I stood at precisely was outstanding and very clean I guess I just lucked out 🤦‍♂️

Brett Misner

From our direction of travel it was difficult to get into the parking lot with iPhone navigation but has a rural king directly across the street so if you forgot anything at home you’re setCame during a huge basketball tournament so everything was busy in town and hotel staff were a bit behind Room was not in perfect shape and had some missed areas of vacuuming and bed was not properly made

Jennifer and Kim the manager were great and could not give discount due to using Priceline but were able to get a comp weekend for our next visit in a couple weeksRoom comes with stove, microwave, 18 cubic foot refrigerator and kitchen sink NO SAFE in the rooms FYI

You can zipline across the lake, fish, walk trails, rent a boat, rent a golf cart and more I went to relax so all I wanted was a fire on one side and the lake on the other (They had that too) The only reason I didn’t rate 5 stars is because of the cabin price

We went on a weekday We had 5 teenagers and three adults The cabin sleeps 4-5 people which I knew that However, there are no refunds after bookingThe weather called for thunderstorms The two teen boys planned to pitch a tent out back Because of the forecast we ended up renting a second cabin I asked if it could be discounted but they would not do that Also, since there are no refunds they may consider Mounting a TV on the wall for those prices

Would rate 0 stars if possible The second day here the ac broke and the room got so hot my youngest daughter got blisters Then the sink broke and sprayed water all over important papers I had

Would have been nice to know the fridge leaked before I slipped on it and hurt my hip Also would have been nice to know about the leak in the roof that soaked my clothing! Oh and then there is the fact that they said we would have pots and pans and dishes and we never received what we were told we would The tv kepts going in and out same with the internet Honestly one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had Will not return and would not recommend Looking into a lawsuit against the hotel

John “Wally”

So let me put it this way – if you like fancy not your place If you want reasonable, friendly, rock bottom price, it’s your place Very much like living in a dorm, if you have had the privilege of doing that

It’s good for what it is – this location is clean, I didn’t detect smoking in the building (Not all locations can say that)-so after staying here awhile, I’m going to amend review (above) The cleaning staff was a pain for us to deal with If you are never in your room Probably not an issue They have changed to cleaning only once every two weeks And the worst thing – they ran out of toilet paper (We had to buy our own) But again, if cheap is your need Just be ready to give up on politeness with the cleaning staff and set your expectations low on support On a bright note, you can change your towels/linen The front desk people are friendly and help as they can – but it seems ESA has limited what they can really doThere is no business center, no gym, only a laundry room Parking is open

Horrible In town for a basketball tournament and no 2-Bed Queens left That’s fine, so we go with a King

No pull-out sofa We inquire about a roll-away, and those are all taken Later, I call down to the front desk for an extra blanket No blankets left, but they have an extra bed sheet… I ask them to send that up, and she tells me I can come down and get itI know you’re sold out for the night, but at least have enough blankets on hand for your entire hotel It didn’t stop you from nearly doubling your weekend rate, but you didn’t have enough blankets? Really, a Marriott?

The staff was wonderful!! The front desk was welcoming, the hotel manager was fantastic! Loved the room, it was clean and had all the amenities!! The shower was lovely, plenty of hot water and pressure The pool was lovely, perfect temperature, clean with plenty of towels Breakfast was great, it had a nice assortment

We will definitely stay here again!!!

Haverstick John

The establishment was clean and the staff was polite The pool was clean but it was a bit cold for being inside Is the only good things I can say

Google photos showed a hot tub that was not there(now reported) Building lost all water pressure Bathroom door did not shut fully The remodeling paint job was bad There was masking tape on the sprinkler from the paint job We were on the 3rd floor and the only ice maker working was on the 1st The breakfast eggs and sausage were poor quality The only elevator’s last inspection was expired For the price it was still worth staying

Nice clean room Requested housekeeping service for next day while I was away They don’t come everyday and that’s OK

But after tendering my request they never came Wanted to extend my stay three nights, after having been there for 3 nights, and was informed each night would be $40 more No thank you Off to find a different hotel

David Eichenmiller

It’s okay The lobby was clean and the staff was friendly My room was comfortable and everything worked well except the room I had seemed to always tend toward being very cold

I was in town with a large group Even in the current times, the room price seemed high I stay in Fort Wayne often for business and know there are better options for the price paid If my other preferred options were full, I would stay here again

Sonja Sayre

The room was nice and clean Said good morning to a staff member replenishing the breakfast foods with no acknowledgment Then, I found out the hard way by another staff member that breakfast is not complimentary; this was after I put food on my plate

I was told the cost is $12 for continental and even applies to a Hilton gold member I walked out and will not be returning to this hotel

Hotel was quiet and clean Staff was friendly and helpful The pool and gym were adequate, although the pool was a bit chilly

And breakfast was delicious!Only downsides: the pool hours were limited in my opinion, our room key didn’t work (front desk fixed it), the bathroom door got stuck and scraped the floor and our room door was very creaky and loud (woke our kids)

Vicky Vandenberg

We were here for 5 nights and our room was never cleaned We had to sit our trash out in the hall and with our dirty towels Would have to catch housekeeping to get clean towels and toilet paper

Toilet keep stopping up and had to go find a plunger Finally just kept it in room Our group rented 10 rooms Only 2 of the rooms got any room serviceman not everyday Breakfast was good, they have the same thing everyday Chlorine in pool burnt your eyes and couldn’t stay in there very long There is a lot of help living in the hotel Doubt I will ever stay again

Michael Shutt

Do not use this hotel! Take your business elsewhere to a hotel company that appreciates its customers My wife and I needed to rent a room for one night, made the reservation no problem The next day I was informed that we were being refused service because we have a local address and the company will not provide hotel rooms to people with a local address! When I inquired about this I was given some lame excuses about some sort of COVID protocol and the front desk person was extremely rude about it! I am taking my business to the Marriott hotel chain and will not use this company again!

The good: hotel was cleanThe bad: (where do we begin) pool was nothing but salt water Front desk personal was VERY unprofessional

BEWARE: made a reservation at the front desk Did all Check on procedures then and only then was informed of an additional charge AKA $50 deposit 3 days later still no DEPOSIT returned BEWARE!!!!

Michael “Jake” LeMasters

Really disappointed, honestly! It ranks way down on my list of Wyndham properties The pool was unbearably salty and we couldn’t swim I have no idea why or what’s going on there but I’ve never seen anything like it

That’s the whole reason for my families lil trip was to swim I definitely won’t be back ever The staff is friendly tho I will say that very nice The rooms look nice but it’s just aesthetic very uncomfortable bed and bedding The pillows were well you might as well just forget it The curtain like thing they use as blanket is the worst I swear it’s a curtain for a window No comfort as far as the bed and bedding goes at all I went down and got extra pillows it really didn’t help much The showers water pressure couldn’t even get the soap out of nieces hair She wore it until we got home and her scalp got bad irritated We are really ready to come home around 3am but was hungry and breakfast sounded really nice We all go down for breakfast and no breakfast is anywhere Don’t be fooled by the pics like me it’s not a comfortable stay at all So they get the longest comment and least stars Google review I have ever done I booked my room with my Wyndham rewards points if I actually paid the $89 plus $50 deposit I would have been beside myself I feel it’s very deceiving on their part Its not right or fair so there you have it My opinion

Jami Cloud

PREGNANCY TESTS FOR EVERYONE!!Our first room had sticky cup rings and partial spill on the table, molding trim around the window, smelled like smoke and had huge white stains on the comforter Hubby went to the front desk to let them know and the woman said, “What do you want me to do about it?” In the next room, hubby lifted the edge of the mattress to check for bed bugs and there were two pregnancy tests under there Unfortunately, they were upside down, so we don’t know if congratulations were in order

Not to mention that it looked like two different brands, so could possibly be from two different guests Seriously, how do the maids change the sheets and not notice that, ugh!!! It appeared to be nearly remodeled but absolutely disgusting I guess Corona did not hit Huntington

This hotel was perfect for our stay! The room was VERY clean and the beds were so comfortable Instant hot water in the bathroom and plenty of nice thick towels We enjoyed the breakfast every morning, always fully stocked with hot coffee and a variety of breakfast foods

They also have a nice designated area for our little dog, complete with bags for their waste I was impressed with the reasonable pet fee and the cute little welcome bag they gave us for our pet We stayed 6 nights while visiting family and had no complaints We’ll definitely be returning on future visits!

Nobody At All

Across the street from the Lutheran Hospital The bed and the pillows were very comfortable and I slept well in the King room, a far corner upper level Bathroom shower had hot water and was clean

Television had cable, I mostly just watch MSNBC anyway, and was set for a short 2 day visit while visiting a sick family member, from out of state The hotel is quiet and safe, parking is accessible and easy to get in and out of quickly I was exhausted from visiting and caring for the sick relative, but relieved the room was comfortable and I was able to get good rest, even if for a few hours, before heading back to the hospital, only a stone’s throw away Breakfast is decent enough, grabbed a yogurt and some fruit, a coffee, to go People in Indiana are pretty friendly, the staff here was no different All around 5 stars for being a great accommodation near a hospital that worked out well during a difficult time

Corina Duncan

Stayed at the Hampton Inn Ft Wayne-Southwest this was a horrible stay from Noise, to horrible breakfast Most of the guests there stayed due to a National Basketball basketball games

The staff was polite that is all, the hotel was noisy it was crowded they had parents drinking in lobby, no security no one saying anything kids running everywhere reported noise, did not seem to matter We paid over $ 40000 for 3 nights not worth it at all I rather pay more to get top notch experience Sometimes I guess you have to pay more we thought Hilton was a good reputable name, maybe it was just this hotel

Other places in the same price range are so disappointing compared to the Residence Inn! The kitchen really makes a difference & hotel staff best in cost bracket & all advertised amenities are available for guests (even during the pandemic when other hotels use it as an excuse to restrict the amenities offered) Everything advertised is available

The staff is ultra friendly On a long summer road trip, I came across this hotel Just needed a bed and a shower and some good old fashion rest

There was one small snafu… But Jordan the general manager went above and beyond to fix the small issue In addition to this, he gave me excellent local advice for things to see in the area! This is the whole point of my summer long road trip He keyed in to this right away It’s great having him and his staff have actual personalities instead of random and faceless people going about their business:-)Thanks for the awesome stay!! Since I will be in the Fort Wayne area for a few weeks, I will definitely be staying with Jordan and his staff again when I head back down!! Thanks guys! :-)-J

Nathaniel V Durell

Hotel service didn’t really exist No one cleaned rooms and we stayed for 3 days Was disappointing cause we didn’t get any shampoo or conditioner or even soap for that matter

Luckily i had some with me They had a pop machine there that didn’t even work And I resorted to just buying drinks down the road at Walmart Which I will say is a strength for this location Had decent food and entertainment nearby Pillows left a little to be desired size wise but again they were still soft Overall our inspector said this place was a pretty good deal for a week reservation for 2 rooms Worth the money

Arthur Stone

The room was a nice room for the money, but there was no soap or shampoo, water pressure was very low The TV didn’t work but when I checked out the girl said we had to call and they would set it up to make it work They advertise a hot breakfast but they still have the bag breakfast even tho covid restrictions have been cancelled for months
