When we pulled in, the lot was nice and clean We made our way into the lobby, which seemed really nice and clean The girl at the counter was sitting there with her phone and earbuds in

I asked where the bathroom was and then she got up and pointed the way She was nice enough, but seemed sort of lazy I went to the restroom and my husband checked us in He said she acted as if she didnā€™t really want to be there She also told him that they were pretty short-staffed and all the rooms hadnā€™t been cleaned yet since the weekend started Okaaaay Why would you tell that?? When I was in the bathroom, I noticed that it really needed some tidy-ing up There was toilet paper and paper towels all over the floor and the soap container needed to be filled up There was soap all over the vanity I thought to myself that our room better not look like that We went to the entrance where I room was closest to and there was a garbage can that was completely overflowing I thought that instead of sitting on her bum at the front desk, that girl could have been tending to these issues It just made a nice place look bad I liked our room Nice space and clean But the beds are old and not at all comfy for two people in one bed I think our son slept like a baby (but heā€™s a teenager and would have slept as well on the floor! Haha!) The mattresses are just way to soft and ours had a slant to it on one side In the bathroom the exhaust fan didnā€™t work, it was very dark to take a shower and the water went ICE COLD on me for about 20 seconds That woke me up! Also, the drain in the sink smelled like mold and made me gag when I had to brush my teeth or wash my face I guess we got our moneyā€™s worth If the things I mentioned were addressed, I could have easily given it 5 stars Iā€™m giving it 3 just because of the mattress and I didnā€™t get a lot of sleep

Excellent customer service! I took advantage of the park and fly option which is super convenient and affordably pricedā€”keeping away the hassle associated with traveling Upon arrival, ALec who checked me in couldn’t have been more excellent and more patient in explaining everything, since I will be with a pet upon my return From making the reservation to checking out every employee was very friendly and professional

This Best Western goes above and beyond to help ease your travel Additionally, the rooms were very clean and spacious, and the bed was super comfy Great assortment of amenities, along with a fridge and microwave I am already looking forward to my return stay

Although the hotel was recently remodeled and looked nice there seemed to be some deeper issues The elevators were slow and noisy and didn’t seem to run wellWe had dozens of ants in our room

The ants were in our bathroom as well as on the dresser in the main room The room also did not include a hair dry and a burnt out light bulb in the the bed side table (We did not complain until checkout as we arrived late and were gone all day We noticed the ants when we got back but we leaving early the next morning)When we mentioned the ants and light bulb to the front desk staff at check out they didn’t take note of our room number It was clear they either knew about the ant problem in the hotel or didn’t care they have an ant problem We did not ask for or expect any compensation and were only interested in seeing they cared about the issues This is not a cheap hotel and I expected much better at this price point

I am a Hilton Honors member and made a reservation at this location for one night being in town for work I had stayed here multiple times before because of its location and I liked the rooms I was asked to show the card I planned on using to pay for the room(the same card I used to make the reservation) and was told that they could not accept it

I explained to the gentleman at the front counter that it was a business card that I use while traveling and have used it at this location before as recently as the week before He said that was irrelevant and he couldn’t do anything to help I was quite furious when I left Especially because it was 1030 at night and I was exhausted I got to my vehicle, cancelled my reservation and made another one at the Hampton Inn 5 minutes down the road and didn’t have any issues paying with the same card that was turned down earlierI don’t ever plan on recommending this location to anyone nor do I plan on staying here againThank you

Rooms and public spaces were clean, which is rare these days Housekeepers said hi when they saw us in the hallways, which is niceFront desk staff wasnā€™t very friendly and they forgot to fulfill our request a few times

Elevator was very slow the last day When we asked about it, the front desk was obviously irritated that they had to answer about the slow elevatorPool is indoors but well maintained and clean with towels at the ready

A young lady that works here needs to be re-TRAINED on how to deal with customer complaints OR maybe she needs to quit and find a different job NO customer service skills at all

In fairness, the hotel manager and other staff here are polite, friendly and excellent costumer serviceI am a platinum elite member with IHG but feels like I was trashed at that time I brought this up to their costumer service and I specifically requested to email me on what is their corrective actions I did not received any reply at all, so this shows how IHG gives importance to their costumersAnyways, I will never ever be staying at any IHG hotel in the future anymore When you are travelling, you need a good and relaxing stay, not stress

Devin Dotzenrod

Get to stay here for an auto body competition for college and upon first impressions as soon as you walk in the hotel is inviting they way its laid out, for me anyways lol the rooms are just as good They’re 2 queen rooms are nice a spacious all brand new everything TV is huge, huge bay window that gives a pleasing view, beds are soft as clouds and there’s ample amount of comfortable seating if you don’t want to be in the bed laying down

There’s also a lot of storage for clothing and there’s no sign of dust or dirt anywhereI’ve looked Cold air returns have no signs of any build of dust and same goes for heat/ac filter Most importantly the bed sheets feel like clean new bedding at home and you know they’re clean because they’re super bright white I’ll stay here againyessir I will

Jordan Harrison

We arrived at about 1:00 in the morning needing a room The front desk woman, who said she usually worked at the Best Western next door, was phenomenal She helped me use points I have accrued through business travel, was polite and friendly

Room was clean, breakfast was as expected for an HIE, location is good for getting around MSP Couldn’t find anything to complain about with the hotel, and can not say enough good about the clerk who was working that night

Love the size and layout of the room So many lights and outlets for devices First time Iā€™ve been in a hotel with a dishwasher, and dishes!Full fridge, microwave and lots of open spaces! Really appreciate the curtain that can be pulled to separate the ā€œliving roomā€ and the beds! Love, love, love the desk with a roll out dining table, great use of space and function! Iā€™m going to have to find more locations of this hotel for future stays, really like it a lot!

Do not stay at this hotel! Disappointing overnight stay two weeks ago Stayed at this hotel one time in 2021 and loved it, but things have changed and we do not plan to returnOur room was disappointing

It was very apparent that surfaces of doors and some walls had not been wiped down in a long time The pocket doors for the bathroom were very heavy and difficult to slide and close completelyOur biggest issue was the noise level on our floor Several rooms were occupied with large families with multiple young children Even though the rooms were a distance away from us, we could hear kids screaming and talking very loudly despite their room door and our room door being shut And these children were repeatedly allowed to slam room doors and run screaming up and down the long hallway This running went on for 10-15 minutes periodically We called the front desk to complain multiple times but the disruption continued When we left our room for dinner we noted a long line of stepped-on Cheetos all down the hallway When we returned to our room much later that night, the mess was still there Apparently no staff were walking the floors and tidying up as needed It gave the hotel a ā€œtrashyā€ feelOur second issue was the fact staff allowed guests to walk around the lobby area barefoot or in stocking feet We noticed this during the breakfast buffet And some of the attire of both adults and children was questionableWe did not feel satisfied at all with our stay We have stayed in multiple Home2Suites as we travel cross-country and have never had such a disappointing stay We will continue to book rooms with this hotel brand but will never return to this one!

Pros:1 Nice sized rooms2 Good blackout curtains3

Pretty good continental breakfastCons1 Room wasn’t clean (hair in the shower, something splattered all over the curtains, air vents blowing out dust)2 Lots of dogs staying there It is a pet friendly hotel, but every time we left our room we encountered 2+ dogs with varying level of behavior, some that were obviously not very well leash trained3 You park in the Cedar Grove ramp, and there’s only one entrance to the that is anywhere close to the parkingFor the price probably won’t stay here again

Very impressed with the quality of the rooms and polite staff Loads of amenities From the coffee maker, to the fancy shampoo, the room is built to impress

We were staying for just one night but it was so great that I will definitely be booking here if I ever returnThe rooms have a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and tons of storage options We’ll lit and good temperature controlsThe bed was very comfortable and the room was so clean It was such a wonderful change of pace compared to the hotels I have stayed in recently My only complaint would be the pillows were too soft All the stuffing moved to the other side of the pillow and I woke up with a sore neck – not the end of the worldMost impressive was the breakfast With the generous hours running from 5am to 9am, and equally as generous options, you will not be disappointedThis is definitely not your typical covid time breakfast Waffles, coffee, juice, Greek yogurt, fluffy scrambled eggs, sausages and sausage gravy, biscuits, cereal and fruit, danishes, toast, bagels The staff were bringing out food even at 8:30Check in and check out were a breeze and the staff were friendly and helpfulIf you’re in the area, check out this gem

Mike A

Great place to stay at a reasonable price Helpful, smiling and just the right amount of friendly, staff The suite was large with two features I have never seen before in a hotel room

A window bench which my wife just loved and a center island with a sink Very handy! Breakfast was pretty typical for this type of hotel The only drawback was the walls are fairly thin It was not a problem as everyone quieted down at night

John Schafer

Spent a night here, and it was a clean, comfortable room Room size is small, but since we were just using it for a single night, that was not a concern for us They had a basic breakfast buffet in the morning (cereal, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, yogurt, toast, etc

), and they had access to a computer/printer to be able to print out boarding passes for our flight in the morning Very helpful young man at the front desk when we checked in, as well as when we checked out in the morning Will definitely return

I was extremely impressed and enjoyed this location They keep this property very clean They have a gym with enough equipment to get a good workout in while traveling

Thereā€™s an indoor pool and hot tub too I want to highlight that Michaelā€™s professionalism and service make you feel like you are staying at a 5 star resort Great experience Highly recommend this location Also very close to the airport

Mar CA

**Updated my star rating due to the fact that I received a response about the maintenance of the pool That was my mistake for assuming the weren’t checking Like I said, the staff was nothing short of amazing

I may give them another try if we’re in the area**The staff was amazing and kind!! The room itself was ok Cracks along AC/heat unit, missing electricity plate, shower tub was grimey, shower head was leaking and sprayed water out of the shower unless you turned the shower head a certain way, and found a baby spider crawling on the bed Thin walls/door, you can pretty much hear everything I felt like the swimming pool hasnā€™t been treated and with an all girls softball team there all weekend and them using the pool often, I would think they would check One small elevator for the entire hotel, which took forever Breakfast was decent, but canā€™t really complain since itā€™s free Parking wasnā€™t too bad Location was ideal but I would definitely check out other hotels in the area after this stay

Wendy Leigh

What a wonderful stay at this hotel!!! The staff is amazing! Moona (and I think her name was Ellie) at the front desk went out of their way to make our daughter’s birthday an extra special experience Our stay was also incredible and we all slept so, so well! Here are my pros and cons for this hotelPros:- The staff 100%- beds are super comfy! They are a medium firm

We all slept so, so well!- We had a queen suite and it was very spacious with lots of room for our family of 5 to spread out/get ready in the morning- The breakfast is yummy!! We love how Springhill has the sugared waffles They are our favorite!! They also have hot protein items like sausage, eggs and bacon and they keep them well stocked-It was super duper quiet even though it appears the hotel was pretty full/busyat least from the parking lot and the main lobby area-Parking is easy- The shower is awesome! Lots of water pressure and the massage feature is wonderfulCons:- the building is older (if you consider that a con) There are stains on the carpets in the hallways Our room appears to be updated however- Our room had a bit of a perfumy smell when we first came in I was worried it would cause my asthma to flair, but I didn’t have any problems thankfullyWe would 100% stay here again if we return to the area in the future!

Customer service was exceptional I tried to get the women’s name that helped us check in and couldnā€™t get it But she was wonderful and made my daughters birthday stay feel very special

So awesomeThe room was beautiful, unique and very cleanWe loved the hotel was connected to the mall We never had to leave that was super coolOne thing that I thought was the pool was supposed to be salt water but we smelled a lot like chlorine Not a big deal the pool was also fun and loved the tables we got to have dinnerWe will absolutely be back!

Mark Drury

Hotel is very nice Radisson needs to focus on building more ‘Blu’ hotels in the USA Staff was extremely friendly, great shuttle service to and from the airport and local businesses

It’s attached to the Mall so easy access to shopping The on-site bar was excellentThe rooms were very nice but the walls were very thin; could hear doors closing down the hall and the loud TV from the next room over Overall a good stay

Denise Morgan

We came with our son for spring break The lobby is so cool and comfy The rooms were fun and funky

The bed was a little firm for me but the pillows were perfect Note that the room service menu is on the TV along with other information We kept looking for a book The in- house restaurant, Firehouse Grill is so yummy I loved that the hotel was attached to the Mall of America, it was so convenient My only complaints are that there are not many channels to watch on TV, unless you want to pay for on demand, so we just streamed from our phone The main chair in our room was stained with ink, a drink of some sort, and full of dirt The rest of the room was very clean though and we spent most of our time exploring so not a big deal The shower was a rain head with a hand attachment as well Heaven! The pool is nice but not very big It fills up fast and there is also no hot tub Room service was awesome Would definitely come again I wish I took better pics

I cannot say enough good things about this place I have no complaints The staff does an AMAZING job! The housekeeping staff takes the cake here

Soooo kind, professional, and thorough Breakfast options were plenty! Beds were comfy, pool area was clean and very well maintained I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for 5 star treatment with a balling on a budget lifestyle

Friedericke Wowerat (FredW414)

My room was clean and we had a decent night’s sleep I walked into the Hotel and the desk person was sitting in a chair I didn’t know that he was the desk person

While I checked in a woman asked for towels for the pool area and since the person was checking me in, he didn’t tend to her needs immediately She actually waited for awhile When I checked in he proceeded to put a $150 hold on my card for incidentals, because I prepaid through a third party I personally didn’t care for this because I checked in at approximately 5:15pm and checked out at 6am the next morning Still waiting for the charge to go back on my card SmhI never experienced this at other Country Inn and Suite locations even when I purchase through a third partyAs I was checking out at 6am there were family members in the lobby? It actually made me feel somewhat uncomfortable I probably won’t stay at this location again because I didn’t feel fully comfortable

Our room was impeccable and bed so comfortable! Very roomy with classic and beautiful furnishings with modern conveniences added So charming was the lobby, live plants and fresh flowers and the valet were dressed in tux tails and top hats Thrilled to stay here! Their bar and restaurant were equally divine

Thanks for a lovely time here!

Extremely convenient and cool locationThe Hotel has a lot of history behind it, but the rooms weren’t worth the price (I do understand the price compared to location, etc) The room was immaculately clean, though

Just not as big as we thought it’d be for what we paidThe staff were fabulous, and extremely friendly They are the primary reason why we’d returnAll in all, a very fun place to visit

Angela Steagall

Terry at the front desk was wonderful She is kind, personable and upbeat She got us the late checkout we needed

Our room was nice and comfortable and the hotel was quiet My one complaint was with the night staff She was rude Seemed like I was bothering her by asking for juice 30 minutes before breakfast Another employee was nice enough to help me Over all a good experience Iā€™m not sure they should have someone with such a negative demeanor working their front desk, even if it is overnight

David Kellermeyer

I almost always book at Hampton Inn

I like the chain and it is generally reliable I seldom if ever write reviews My advice would be to avoid this particular Hampton Inn The property seems old and a bit run down There is a single elevator for a three story hotel No ice machines on either the second or third floor The parking area design is poor I don’t know how well the hotel is managedthe check-in clerk took forever to get me a room and then sent me to a room that wasn’t ready for occupancy I hate to write this, as I am a loyal customer of Hampton, but I would advise people to find a different hotel in the St Paul area I will continue to stay at Hampton Inns, but not at this one

Cassandra Rose

Staff is friendly and the breakfast was good but the rooms are tiny, the bed squeaked every time we moved and there were stains on several things in our room (curtains, desk chair, lounge chair) Hot tub isnā€™t working either which isnā€™t a huge deal but itā€™s one of the only amenities The building is also in a shared parking lot so it was really loud in our first floor room starting around 6am

Nansie Van der Hout

The hotel is very close to mall of America and offers free shuttle service to the mall and to the airport This is not the usual Fairfield setup, I think itā€™s a bit older There was no microwave in the room

The breakfast was minimal, I always look forward to the Marriott oatmeal in the morning, but they only had instant oatmeal and microwave breakfast sandwiches There was also eggs and various breakfast meats The bathroom still had individual shampoo instead of the dispensers on the shower wall The shower was nice, but in a tub/ shower set up instead of the more modern showers weā€™ve had before The rooms are clean and comfortable The staff was friendly and accommodating We would stay here again It was one of the lower priced Marriotts in the area If you are sensitive to noise ask for a room in the back

Tim K

Iā€™ve stayed here a few times Clean rooms, nice breakfast My first stay there was a mixup on the room type I booked ā€” when I mentioned it to the manager the following day, he owned it and went above and beyond to make it right

Each stay since then has been smooth and enjoyableIā€™m happy with this hotel and will consider it again when I need a hotel in the area

Michael Cantor

Not worth it Look for something better for this priceWe have booked 3 rooms and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights

We have booked it and paid extra to get an hotel with a breakfast and a pool Although the breakfast was decent, the pool had freezing water and the hot tub was not operational But the peak of our stay was that we didnā€™t get our rooms cleaned/serviced for 4 nights Even though we have asked and reminded the front desk after our 2nd and 3rd nights Disappointing Never again!

Starting with the positives, check in was easy, staff was helpful, pool was nice and room was large Now for the areas of improvement We arrived and the TV did not work

We called the desk and they came and fixed it The room smelled like smoke The shower had a slow drain and took about 10 min to drain after a shower The pull out bed was worthless as springs were easily felt through the mattress Every time the AC kicked in, the unit was so loud in the bedroom that it was difficult to sleep The breakfast in the morning left a lot to be desired Ham and potatoes No eggs or pancakes Milk dispenser didn’t work Juice was out of order Just disappointing If you are doing a quick stay it is OK, if I had to do it over I would make a different choice

This was the best hotel Iā€™ve stayed at for the price you pay My room was basically an apartment, with a kitchenette including stovetop, dishwasher, microwave & fridge with ice maker with its own bedroom The bathroom was a good size

They even included dove soaps instead of cheap like usual hotels The pool area was good & the pool was nicely warmed Breakfast had great options compared to other hotels I was very impressed When I got to my room, the front desk even sent a text to ask how the room was & if there was anything we needed

We stayed here last night! The room was nice and spacious – we had a One Bedroom King Bed Suite Very affordable and friendly staff The pool and hot tub are open for use until 12am which is also great

Breakfast buffet in the morning as well! One cool thing about this room – Iā€™m not sure about other rooms as well – is that the conditioner and shampoo are in actual pump bottles attached to the wall So instead of just having the mini bottles, you could use as much as needed! Will be coming back in the future !

Very friendly staff especially one of the ladies at front desk, wish I’d caught her nameOur room was super clean and fully equipped kitchenette! There was a very nice continental breakfast spread in the morning (with fresh fruits) We were able to walk from here to Mall of America pretty easily

There’s a really nice gym here which I took full advantage of and basically got to use all to myself since there was nobody in there 2 of the 3 times I went to use! šŸ˜€

Rooms are very noisy I stay in hotel rooms 10 to 15 nights per month for work and these are some of the thinnest walls and floors I’ve ever experienced I could clearly hear people conversing in the adjacent room and every step people took in the room above

Another negative is the slow and unreliable WiFiOther than that it is a nice, clean property with friendly staff, but if your primary goal is a quiet night of sleep it probably isn’t the best choice

Nice, newer hotel across the street from MOA and a five-minute drive or 15-minute light-rail trip to the airport Parking is freeRooms include a small kitchen with a real stove and oven

The pool is nice, there are a couple of outdoor seating areas, and breakfast offers a nice variety of warm options like sandwiches, omelets, waffles, and oatmealIt is very well kept and managed, with excellent checkin service from Jon

Large room and front desk guys were friendly But the room itself had many dirty areas The sliding door that’s supposed to cover where the bathroom sink is was completely missing! Inside the fridge was dirty

Many sticky spots on the floors No paper cups for coffee, just clear plastic cups for water No laundry bag Only 4 hangars Iron didn’t work correctly (no steam on any setting) Breakfast was awful and the worker in there needs a lesson on customer service At exactly 9 am, instead of asking me and my husband and the other couple who were still eating if there was anything else we needed, she just rudely shut the door to the area where the food was! She also did not refill multiple items that were missing or empty I poured myself a bowl of cereal and then found out that both milks were empty, she didn’t refill the coffee, there was nothing in the mini fridge, no apple juice Etc The person in the room next to us was making noise for hours at night I couldn’t get to sleep until almost 4 am and then I ended up oversleeping The only thing that helped was turning the fan on so it was constantly on and my husband and I both woke up with sore throats The room had a bad smell of smoke mixed with an unclean AC There is no way to open windows here After checking out we noticed a man in a parking lot cleaning his ears and then throwing the Q-tips on the ground! Absolutely disgusting Also, when we checked out the front desk gentleman told us to have a good day but he never asked how our stay was

This has been one of our favorite places to stay while traveling! All the employees were friendly and greeted us every day A lot of options for breakfast No microwaves in the rooms but had two that guests could use in the breakfast area

They had bags of chips, pop, candy and different freezer meal options available for purchase by the front desk also The pool was an alright size, it went to 45ft that my son likes but my daughter likes when it gets a little deeper They had multiple tables and chairs which I like and big patio couch for bigger families Our room was nice size and perfect for myself and two younger aged kids If we come back up to the area again for an event my kids have already said they want to go to this one again even if it’s not the same hotel as others in our group

This hotel was a great location It was within walking distance of great places to eat and drink The staff was amazing

We had adjoining rooms Upon arrival we found that one of the rooms had not been cleaned The hotel was totally booked but the manager got it cleaned while we went to dinner He then voluntarily comped the room without my asking Based on the way we were treated by everyone at this hotel, we’ll stay here anytime we are in this area visiting family in the future!

Andrea Linton

This is a great hotel to take the family The room was very clean and so were the sheets The pool was nice sized but water was cold

Not a big a deal breakfast had a lot of options, also good for the kids and plus there was a snack section you could purchase The only thing was there wasn’t shampoo and normally I don’t care because I bring my own but this time I didn’t The manager was apologetic and I don’t blame him that there wasn’t any the night of our stay Restaurant across the street and ordering pickup was faster and had a large kids meal Very tasty

We were very pleased with our stay here All staff were very friendly The room was clean and the free breakfast was fantastic

The little walk in pool and water slide were perfect for our 1 year old Our housekeeper came in between our night stays and gave fresh towels and went as far to pick up our daughters baby doll toy off the floor so she could vacuum and wrapped it in its swaddle and placed its bottle next to it on the bed It was just a very sweet gesture that we appreciated We will recommend this hotel to everyone we know coming this way

Outstanding service, room, bed, and breakfast Showerhead needed cleaning, but the rest was amazing The room was so open and clean

It had all the amenities I neededThe service desk handled all the weird changes my company threw at her While she was working with me, she recognized the next customer in line and told them she would be “right with them” Another employee heard that and promptly came out of the office to help Wonderful service

Dylan Rybak

The hotel was nice for the price in a good location Had no issues at the beginning First maid service came through, didnā€™t really do the greatest job cleaning the room and didnā€™t take out the garbage

But whatever, COVID procedures probably we didnā€™t care that much But the next day the assistant manager Jordan went out of her way to tell my wife that they QUOTE ā€œneed to have a discussionā€ about the amount of trash in our room I was like are you kidding me? You guys didnā€™t take it out and we have 3 adults and two small children who are in diapers, and weā€™re doing our best My wife waited patiently in the lobby while the maid cleaned the room only to have that embarrassing comment made by somebody with some authority while she struggled to keep our children entertained Very demeaning I have quite a lot of nights under my belt with Wyndham hotels and havenā€™t run into something that ridiculous yet Now I have to say that I called and freaked out because I was so angry, she did apologize but also tried to make my complaint seem less important because we were staying on a ā€œdiscounted rateā€ The toilet in the room had brown swirls underneath the lip you could see when sitting in the tub, kind of gross No compensation was given for our complaint which we werenā€™t expecting but I think wouldā€™ve been warranted I donā€™t think we will stay here again

We appreciated that this hotel went the extra mile in helping us secure a room block for our wedding and arrange transportation to take one thing off our list Renee was great to work with and we enjoyed our stay at this hotel for the big day Loved having a fresh hot breakfast served each morning as well

The only improvement I would suggest would be making it easier for guests in the room block to book their rooms; they have to call the hotel and I heard some guests had to try a couple of times to get it done

Overall a decent stay The Jacuzzi suite really is what it looks like in the pictures, saddest part being that it’s is right there when you walk in the door so if your partner goes out/comes in while you are enjoying it, you risk being seen by anyone in the hallway Late check out was an option -11am was extended to 1pm for a reasonable $26

85 The location however seemed weird and there is no view from that particular room
