My wife and I stayed at Western Inn South Kearney on August 15, 2022 What a great experience! The room had a fresh scent, and was extremely clean It had a nice TV, a microwave oven, and a refrigerator

The refrigerator had a separate freezer compartment, in addition to the main storage area This is a very nice, and very unusual feature The AC worked very well, and produced white noise, that is, there was no rattle at all The beds were comfortable Outside, it was very quiet, so we got a great nights sleepMy wife and I both highly recommend this motel We would be delighted to stay there again!

We stayed here for several work cycles, a week at a time Each week they raised the price $10-$20 When asked why the increase the answer was “because everyone else is” which was a lie

Others that I worked with were staying at the Travelodge across the street for a much better rate The owner told us that because we were “regular customers” he wouldn’t charge us more The following week when we returned price went way up We were going to be there for a good portion of the year but because of the owner arguing with my roommate and him lying to us, charging us more we won’t be returning We also let the other employees know to avoid this motel The rooms are very outdated, beds were hard as rocks The shower surround had a gaping hole in one of the soap holders, the bathroom fan was really loud and sounded like it was going to fall out I don’t know if there actually is a pool we didn’t explore The way the rest of the building is maintained I wouldn’t trust the pool or hot tub

It is a total dump!! My room had holes I’m the wall, the curtain was half torn off the rod, and the door on the inside looks like someone broke in before! It says dog friendly but when I found a laundry room to find another blanket because no one was at the front desk this foreign guy starts yelling at me He has no name tag or indication he works for the motel I wasn’t allowed to get extra bedding after he yelled at me

I usually try to stay at Hampton Inn’s when we are road-tripping due to consistently good experiences with the brand, and this hotel was really great! It is conveniently located off I-80, and is easy to access I made reservations a week or so prior to the stay, but called the day ahead, and a very helpful staff member helped me select a room that fit my wants — and I actually got the kind of room I requested 🙂 We arrived late in the evening, and were welcomed by friendly front desk staff Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable

I got a quick workout in before going to bed, and the gym facilities were clean and in working order The pool and hot tub also looked nice — I wished we brought our swim suits! After waking up from restful sleep, we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast I had my usual Hampton Inn waffles with some fruit, which did not disappoint The breakfast staff was also helpful and pleasant Overall, another excellent stay at a Hampton Inn!

Our stay here was nice, with no issues of safety or cleanliness The hotel itself is nice, and the staff were all very kind, especially those at the included breakfast making tasty omelettes! The pool area was also pretty cool with a ‘treetop’ bar that is open late (was pretty darn cool) Unfortunately, 4 stars is required because the hotel is a bit older and they seem to have not kept up on all maintenance required (though there was no cleaninliness issues to speak of)

Our shower was quite the sight to behold compared to the rest of the hotel The ceiling has rusted out due to humidity with no fan and water spraying out from the shower head, and our shower was clogged when we took one and I’m not really sure whether it was draining at all I did report this to the hotel and they seem to be on top of it, but maybe check for issues like this when you arrive at your room The hot tub was also closed in February 2022 by the Nebraska department of health and safety Don’t know the story there but don’t expect to use the hot tub

We stayed during a wrestling tournament April 1st Everyone checked in after weigh inn and it was super busy but the staff handled it beautifully The rooms we’re super clean and beds very comfortable! This was a fantastic experience for me and my family We rented a pet friendly room It was located close to an exit door which made it easy to take our pooch outside

The entire hotel was spotless John up front checked us in and was fast and informative The continental breakfast felt like a real breakfast Eggs were cooked perfectly and seasoned correctly Milk cooler was full and the room was very clean Tables all recently wiped down, etc I just could not give this place a high enough rating Also, we just were there to for the night but it’s very closely located to three “walking distance” restaurants Your team is great and you should be proud of your product Ken

Hotel was alright It was pretty clean and the beds were nice but definitely not worth getting charged for two nights when you only stayed for one The girl at the front desk told us that guests reservations are often written down wrong and it’s up to the guest to catch it

She refused to refund us for their screw up So unless you don’t mind spending an extra $100 because they can’t get reservations right, I recommend staying elsewhere

this location was light years behind the one we stayed at in Stuart Iowa It smelled like stale cigarettes and cigars Walls were thin and you could hear everyone’s conversations walking down the hallsThe carpet in the hallways was worn out The refrigerator wasn’t working and the air conditioner would squeal off and on making for a poor night’s rest Paint in the bathroom was over the doorsit looked like they didn’t even try There was a lot ofdust all over the a/c The other reviews sounded very good but couldn’t possibly be about this location I don’t think Wyndham would want their name on this property Since the property in Stuart was SO NICE we assumed they would all be the samebut you know what they say about ASSUMING!! I sure hope there wasn’t any Bed Bugs!!!

Dirty Toilet, like actually not cleaned after last user That was gross Dirty shower tub

Room had key and paperwork from previous occupant Laundry room out of order, vending machines had 1 candy bar and 1 bag of chips They were using a Glade plug in to mask some smell, and it wasn’t a very good smelling one I was tired and just went to sleep in my clothes on top of the sheets, I figured they weren’t clean When I woke up and went to eat they unfortunately only had hard boiled eggs, corn flakes, and surprisingly a big waffle machine with a dispenser of batter, I wish I remember the brand, I made a waffle and have been sick the last three hours I’m not above staying in a roach motel, but that is if I pay roach motel prices, which I didn’t So all in all I’m currently very disenchanted with Super 8

Although the furniture is nice and looks updated, the room was not clean The toilet, the bathtub, sink and floors were dirty The toilet didn’t work good

The shower curtain was stained and filthy from the bottom The room was not vacuumed and there was no bed skirt and there were stains on the bottom bed Breakfast was good and had choices of yogurt, waffles, hard boiled eggs, cereal, coffee, juice, and bread

I do not usually leave negative reviews We had been traveling all day and very tired All the other Suoer 8’s we stayed at were fine, but this place was awful! The sheets looked clean but the coverlet and the mattress and box springs were stained with unknown substances

There was no smoke alarm Had been pulled out and only wires hanging The outlets didn’t work, there was no phone in the room to call the desk, the bathroom was dirty and the shower disgusting The keypad to get in the building was taped to the wall and barely worked The entire place reeked of pot and the parking lot did not appear safe at all There were people roaming the parking lot all night long DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL

I’ll start with the (very few) positives about this place It was quiet and the front desk staff was helpful and attentive Everything else was extremely unsatisfactory

The room was disgustingly dirty, to include a stain on the bedspread (though at least the front desk replaced this without issue), stained walls, dirty carpets, a malfunctioning shower drain, and a filthy ironing board Security was also a major issue The key card lock to my room barely functioned, the window was unlocked when I arrived, and the side doors use a four-digit code for entry For safety purposes, that is just as bad if not worse than using key cards I called the front desk shortly after my stay and was told that the general manager would call me in the late morning or afternoon the next day Two days later, I haven’t heard anything back, and when I tried calling today, I got a busy signal—twice—with the two calls spaced five minutes apart Avoid this place if you can

This was one of the worst hotel room experiences I have ever had We had a total of two rooms and both were absolutely disgusting (all the pics are from one room) Both beds in each room, had stains on all surfaces (comforter, sheets, pillowcases, etc

) There was mud smeared in the carpets, stains on the wall and a thick coating of dust on everything And even though the whole hotel was supposed to be smoke free, the entire building smelled of stale cigarette smoke There are much better hotels for the price I recommend you give this one a hard pass

Front desk was polite but not very personable My room was decent Clean and newer paint

Bathroom was not great Floor needed sweeping behind door Tub was old and stained Toilet was old and slow and clogged very easily My moms handicap room was quite odd Very tall ceilings, bare walls, vinyl floors, and harsh white lighting made it feel like a cafeteria versus a cozy motel room I get that they need vinyl floors for wheelchairs but still The building itself is basic and unimaginative inside and out and But also the least expensive place so cant complain too much about that My biggest issue was the hallway carpet It was deeeee-scuting Worst carpet I have ever seen in a motel Spots and stains and soiled everywhere Really gross I would not come back here
