A beautiful cottage in the heart of WoodstockLovely rooms, individually furnished and decorated in different themes We stayed here for 5 nights and it was absolutely wonderful

The place is kept in top shape and is clean and cozy The inn keeper is a considerate and lovely lady, she made sure we had everything we needed and was always ready to helpThe kids made s’mores in the fire every night and we could mingle with other guests in the cozy living room in the early evenings We could walk every where from the hotel as it is conveniently located in the heart of Woodstock There great shops and restaurants all aroundWe would definitely go back!

I booked a 7-day stay and was assured housekeeping services every other day Day 4 and I’ve resorted to leaving used towels and garbage bins in halls to receive some service Today we got two rolls of toilet paper

No vacuuming, refreshing, bed making As it’s a pet friendly hotel the dog smell is becoming unpleasant Unfortunately, I can’t find another hotel due to local activities One star is for room layout, bed, kitchenette and nice sized bath

Roz Ferranti-Elder

We Always stay at this location for Many reasons The staff are respectful, polite & accomodating!! Mario, Maria & Gina were Great!! The rooms are Very clean, have plenty of space & the bed is very comfortable!! Very nice establishmentwith Great staff & accomodations for a nice relaxing stay! Even our large dogs had a Great time, getting many treats!!Roz & Tom Elder

Mary Abelack

Rooms are clean and newer but services are dropping The “breakfast” is a joke They should just shut it down at this point

No eggs or meat any longer Everything else looked unappetizing so I skipped it The dog fee is now $100 Not sure if that’s per night or per stay but feel like it’s too much for a budget hotel located next to a broken down sad mall and in a Target parking lot

Very underwhelmed with the room given the cost Maybe the historical rooms are nicer, in the main section, but the room I had was in the building behind the hotel Honestly been more impressed with the majority of chain hotels, room was dark, outdated and depressing, ugly colors and furniture

No breakfast that I was aware of possibly due to covid Would not go back Location is central to town, walk to restaurants, bars and shops Really that was the only upside

Nikolas Pattantyus

Very disappointed with our stay but the customer service or lack thereof is infuriating We had many issues during our stay that we wanted addressed when we checked out but were brushed off We then wrote a letter two weeks ago which I have attached below and have yet to receive a response

My wife and I were recent guests Upon checking out on the morning of February 21st, we were asked by the staff at the front desk if everything was to our liking It wasn’t Instead of writing you a searing online review, we took the time to write you a note about the issues we had with the room She took our note and said a manager would be in contact with us but it has now been over a week and we are still waiting for someone to care enough to respondTo reiterate, here are some of the issues we had in our room:1 The heater sounded like a freight train every time it kicked on approximately every 30 minutes2 The bathroom door didn’t close3 There was a giant spider on the ceiling above the sink Since it was February, it was probably a dead spider that had been there for some time4 The sink was chipped and rusting There was also no hot water in that tap at night5 One of the lights in the room didn’t workBut the biggest issues we had with the room weren’t written down The Delamater Inn should not be associated with the rich and storied history of the Beekman Arms Inn We had come to celebrate President’s Day with the oldest hotel in America and instead of feeling the inspiring spirit of Washington, Hamilton, and Roosevelt, we felt like we were in a sad motel with cheap blankets, thankful that we hadn’t booked more nights The building and room were both run down with nothing remotely historic about it Associating this with the Beekman Arms feels like false advertisingWe checked in on the 20th of February, and were in room #64 The full rate was $239 plus taxes and feesWe are expecting a responseThis letter is also being sent to the Historic Hotels of America, and the National Trust for Historic Preservation

Emily Cooperman

Well, the best thing I can say is that check-in was easy, but it went downhill from there We were in the Village Inn, a former motel that is part of the property It is rundown, to say the least

The toilet was cracked, the sink was cracked, everything is worn, the room was never serviced The breakfast offered extremely stale baked goods and they were out of coffee I opted to leave the keys at checkout without waiting for a printed receipt with the understanding a receipt would be emailed to me as stated on a notice in the office After several phone calls in which it was claimed one had been sent, no receipt Definitely NOT worth the money I’m never going back if I can help it

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at this Holiday Inn Express, which felt brand new Very clean, inviting and modern Beds were very comfortable

Breakfast selection was good and fresh All staff that we interacted with were very nice Some suggestions for improvement: more bathroom hooks for towels, more towels, and maid service could be a little more thorough (trash can missing bag, etc) But overall still a 5-star experience

Myel Hill

What a wonderful clean and accommodating hotel! The staff was friendly They went above and beyond The room was clean and smelled good upon arrival

The beds in the room were like magic, we all fell asleep within minutes of settling into those clean sheets, plentiful pillows, and super comfortable mattress I haven’t slept that good in awhile The breakfast selection was very good, you could choose from a variety of items including hot breakfast items The pool area was clean and well maintained Mostly I was happy to bring my 3-year-old there because I didn’t have to worry about a filthy floor or surface anywhere in that hotel because it was so clean I definitely will be staying again when I visit this area

We had a lovely stay at this inn over Memorial Day weekend It is ideally located only a 5-10 minute walk from Tinker Street but feels so peaceful and secluded Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfy

The inn was fully booked but it was very quiet at night and so nice to listen to the sound of the water right outside the room Breakfast and midday snacks were a nice surprise as we thought they were not offering that because of COVID We had such a pleasant stay we already booked a return

One Key Realty

We showed up with no reservation, we were greeted by an amazing person, who provided us with lodging for the night We had a queen bed over looking the water, it was quant cozy and an amazing experience It reminded me of my childhood days when my parents would take us up to a bungalow colony a little bit further south then here

The accommodations were amazing, the water front and the waterfalls had such an amazing sound Breakfast in the morning was super fresh, super easy and most enjoyable My wife and i only spent 1 night there and we enjoyed it so much, that we are going back, with a reservation, and we are flying from Miami just to go back and spend a few days enjoying nature at its finest We had one of the best nights of our 10 day vacation driving NY state, and this place was one place that, yes, we should have stayed more then what we did So we are going back, no more regrets in our lives Live and enjoy, the people in the town were so friendly to add to it Come unwind and relax at a favorite memory of mine and ours with my wife

Lisa Romaguera

Our lovely cottage in Woodstock was the perfect get away from the city Peacefully nestled in the woods is just what we needed The spacious 2/2 cottage is big enough for four people to comfortably spread out and relax

The large veranda on the creek is the perfect spot to enjoy the fresh air, birds chirping, water streaming and deer grazing The town of Woodstock is friendly and picturesque with plenty of dining options If your looking for an easy drive outside of the city, give Woodstock a visit

Valerie and Eric were exceptional hosts at their quaint and beautiful inn Breakfast was incredibly delicious and kept us well fed throughout our daily activities Their recommendations for places to go and eat made for a memorable weekend getaway

Highly recommend visiting for those looking to relax and unplug Say hi to Buddy (adorable pup) for us!

Tyler (Tyler Chavers) Chavers

My boyfriend and I just visited Journey Bed & Breakfast this past weekend, and wow, we were blown away at the level of hospitality during our weekend trip! From arrival to the very end, Valerie and her team provided an A level experience that we will never forget The residence was very clean, cozy, well air conditioned, and overall quite and pleasant The house is so cute and decorated with beautiful vintage furnishings

The provided breakfast each morning was such a treat and was exciting for a foodie like myself We were educated on touristy things to do each day, and it greatly impacted our trip! I took away so many first time experiences since it was my first time visiting Hyde Park area The stay exceeded the already amazing reviews online This bed and breakfast was great for a romantic weekend, and could also work for a small family setting Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and cozy weekend getaway! The Hyde Park area is stunning and there’s so much history to explore and amazing food to try! We will definitely be repeat customers and cant wait to plan our return visit this fall! THANK YOU! 🙂

Not really an ‘inn’ A good place to stay if you want to visit the local bars and restaurants Clean comfortable, no problems but

Difficult to find the parking at night Down the oneway entrance to village parking On the right just past the parking on that side Go right and look for the wooden fence The exit from parking lot is to the right as you leave the village inn parking area

The hotel is quite new and rooms are in a great condition Nice lighting in the room Table lamp has charging ports and even an international power adapter

Breakfast was plentiful We stayed for 2 days There were different hot dishes available on these 2 days And of course the usual assortment of cereal, yogurt, breakfast pastries and so on I’d say fruit selection was unimpressive and there was no simple bread, though

Kimberly Leonard

I have stayed at this hotel several times and will stay there again It’s clean, modern and convenient for my purposes For the most part the staff is pleasant

I had trouble though getting housekeeping services (even though I requested for it) and when I called the front desk about just getting towels, I got quite an attitude and was asked to come and pick them up myself from the front desk This is not ok when your paying over $300 per night for a room!

My husband & I had a wonderful stay at Hutton Brickyards to celebrate our anniversary As two people who enjoy being outside but are not exactly “outdoorsy” it was the perfect combination of nature and creature comforts The views from our cabin were beautiful with a view of the Hudson through the trees

The property was very peaceful, a great vibe for escaping the city If you’re looking for total seclusion, I would probably look elsewhere as you’re still pretty close to the other guests, but that didn’t bother us a bit and the cabins are very private The cabin was lovely and cozy – easily the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on! The staff was very friendly and helpful We spent a lot of our visit exploring Kingston and Woodstock, so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy some of the on-site amenities like the spa or restaurant, but considering the rest of our stay I’m sure they’re worthwhile

Ellen Meiner

A beautiful property right on the Hudson with well appointed private cabins A relaxing retreat with exceptional service Lots to do in the area including delicious food and hikes both leisurely and challenging

The restaurant on the premises is terrific Highly recommend The management team’s focus is to ensure every guests’ needs are met They succeeded! Can’t wait to come back!

Mallory Angeles

We LOVED staying here! The little cabins were adorable and modern Great views and greater customer service Simon and Susie made the stay even more pleasant with how accommodating and attentive they were

We took advantage of the on site amenities (sunrise yoga and archery) on our last day which was a perfect way to end the stay there I can’t wait to go back!!! Looking forward to what Hutton Brickyards offers during the summer season!

2 Bedroom SuiteWe heard really good things about the Hotel Tivoli, which is really a bed & breakfast Our experience is probably different than most others We needed 2 rooms and that wasn’t available

But they did have a 2 bedroom suite in the adjacent building At least we didn’t have to worry about any late noise from a downstairs bar/restaurant But the suite only had one wall AC unit which made it very difficult to cool all the rooms Bedrooms doors had to be left open to get the cool air A benefit of the suite is that it has a very nice sitting room Unfortunately, the furniture (as seems to be in all the rooms) was more about art than function The couch was really uncomfortable On the plus side, the breakfast each morning was really good I enjoyed the hotel for the weekend, but I would probably stay some place else on a future visit

Leon Ramcharran

Clean room and comfy bed Service is a bit crude if not rude Nice place to stay if you have a car and will drive to other locations for meals

I literally asked for a boiled egg on my second day after having sunny side eggs the first morning and was told the chef can only make scrambled or fried eggslol so many things to unpack there but clearly service was to blame and not the chef Cute location and deck Chose to go out to Rhinebeck and Woodstock for dinner as options were better and service was included There are other similar locations in the surrounding areas I can support so will try a different location next time as we stay in the area at least three to four times a year

Kenneth Novenstern

My Wife and I, and our mini-poodle, just returned from a weekend at HT What a relaxing few days And all of the staff made great efforts to meet every one of our needs, from the food and water dishes for our dog, to refrigerating his food, to breakfasts and the full cup of coffee for my Wife carried up to our room the last morning

And the room was wonderful too, eg bed, pillows, shower Almost hesitate to share how great this stay was

My room was over $300 a night- I was told this was a discounted price for guests of a wedding I was to attend (the hotel clerk told me it was normally $400) I made the reservation and assumed that I would be staying in a luxury hotel for that price It was far from that! The bathroom sink did not drain properly

The tub stopper was completely out of the tub The door to the cabinet that held the refrigerator would not stay closed I felt like I was staying in a cheap motel Little nice simple touches that most nice hotels provide were non-existent While there was breakfast, you could not get a cup of coffee even one minute past 10:00 when breakfast was over The more expensive hotels where I’ve stayed (for even less night than this place) had coffee and flavored water out all day for guests This place had nothing!!!~ I don’t mind paying if I get what I paid for Truthfully, while the lobby and pool areas were pleasant, the rest felt dirty Find someplace else to stay!!!!!

Joshua Lurie

Hotel was nice Staff were very nice and accommodating Rooms were good aside for a couple of things

Technology really ought to be upgraded and as for the bathrooms, the vanity part seemed to have been updated however the rest of the bathroom (tiles, toilet, everything about the bath and shower) seemed to be living in the 90’s Biggest per peeve is clogged bathtub drains and unfortunately did not disappoint Would love to see these places invest in the bathrooms rather than the hallways and lobby

Standard rooms you would expect at a Hampton Inn, nothing fancy, but clean, relatively spacious, with a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee makerI was surprised by how good and plentiful the complimentary breakfast was There was a buffet of eggs, sausage, oatmeal, and potatoes, plus a breads (toast, English muffins, and bagels, and cereals section, as well as a waffle maker section

In addition, there was an assortment of fresh fruits and yogurtsI also loved the all day coffee and tea station (alright at 8pm I tried to make myself some tea and found the hot water was empty) and afternoon cookies at 3 pm which were very delicious!!! They also have a snack bar section with various snacks and drinks for sale (chips, cookies, and sodas, etc)The concierge was always friendly and helpful and accommodating I had asked for a sewing kit and extra lotion and they were able to give my any extra toiletries right awayThis location is very convenient During our stay we visited the CIA, FDR’s house at Hyde Park, and had dinner and drinks on Main Street in New Paltz It was a wonderful home base for a weekend escape from the city

Wow,,,great Hilton property run by caring professionals~Front the front desk to the staff running the breakfast to the cleaning staff to the maintenance staff…this place is cared for-Very clean, bright, and welcomingThe room we stayed in was spotless…really nice bathroom set up with a spot for the towels on a shelf…nice shower with modern glass door and a new style drainPlenty of soaps available-The breakfast was solid…they had something for everyone

Good coffee and tea~ available most of the dayNice location in relation to surrounding destinations like local wineries and restaurants ~

Logan Frankel

Front desk was extremely nice and accommodating on multiple occasions Large room on the ground floor with high ceilings and king bed facing a large window which was very pretty 24 hour coffee/tea was amazing; the large diverse breakfast was as well

Very clean Only downside was that there were a good amount of ants in the bathroom Didn’t notice them at first but later in the day there were a lot on the floor and around the garbage I had discarded a tea cup that I used honey in one possible explanation But still there shouldn’t be a ton of ants coming out of the wall moulding in the bathroom

I am currently staying at The Dylan in Woodstock and all I can say is I never want to leave Each room has its own cool vibe and I agree with all the reviews when they say the beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept on Cleanliness, design and some of the most incredible hospitality experiences ever

Darryl is an amazing host and serves everyone with a smile Some nights you can stumble into the lobby and be entertained by Darryl and other guests who have brought their guitars They were great It’s obviously 5 stars in my opinion, but would like to give it less so I can still get a room I stayed in the Joan Baez room

Sloane Applebaum

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Dylan! The hotel is extremely clean and updated, with luxurious finishes It has a fun aesthetic with record players in the room and musical accents all around The pool was lovely, and we really enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit at night

The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly Thank you for an amazing stay, I can’t wait to return hopefully soon!

Gavin Smith

Amazing weekend Upon checking in, I had a smores kit hanging from my doorknob – encouraging me to enjoy the fire pit that was right outside my door I checked into my room, enjoyed chilled champagne from Hotel Dylan’s celebration package, listened to records and enjoyed a margarita at Santa Fe (just a few steps from my room)

We rented The Forsyth B&B Inn & Barn for our wedding weekend from Thursday until Sunday We wanted a space big enough for both of our immediate families to stay together for the duration of the weekend This spot was absolutely perfect

The interior decor is very tastefully done, and goes so well with the existing charm of the space The artwork selection is fabulous, and there is so much attention to detail that you can’t help but appreciate every nook and corner in this space All of the rooms and bathrooms were very spacious, and the outdoor spaces (porch and back patio) were an added bonus We held our intimate ceremony in the barn, which even without any added decor was a perfect backdrop for it The barn has a sound system, a bar setup, bathroom, and loft (which we used as the groom’s getting ready space), and it was absolutely perfect The barn doors open to the street which along with the skylight provided wonderful natural lighting We also held a post wedding brunch the day after in the barn Tamara catered this brunch, and WOW, the food was incredible! The quiche, scones, pastries, salad, and everything that Tamara prepared was absolutely delicious, and our guests were all raving about the food The brunch was also set up beautifully with very sweet labels and tiered displays From the initial contact throughout the weekend of our wedding, Tamara was so kind, very accommodating, answered any and all questions, and made our wedding weekend even more spectacular We are so happy that we found the Forsyth B&B, as it was the perfect setting for this special occasion Many, many thanks! Highly recommend!

Tamara’s B&B up in Kingston, NY was so charming and had so much character The soft jazz that was playing after we self checked into the inn was inviting as well as the atmosphere of the space The room we stayed in was beautiful, the ceiling was slanted with wood beams and the bathroom had the cutest wallpaper

The backyard and front porch were inviting and we actually ate our breakfast in both spaces during our stay Speaking of breakfast wow, Tamara outdoes herself with her cooking My friend had a nut and fish allergy and she was able to cater to her and create a separate breakfast to fit her allergy Every dish we had was delicious from salmon to vegetable egg quiche and breakfast quesadillas She was very kind and hospitable during the entire stay The location is great because it is near the Hudson River and just under 2 hours from the cityThanks again for the lovely stay, I’ll definitely be recommending the Forsyth to anyone looking for a quick getaway up in the Hudson Valley!

This review is long overdue but my husband and I got married last July at Hasbrouck House and had the most amazing wedding weekend we ever could have imagined We cannot thank Kayleigh and the team enough for all their hard work and also their willingness to work with us and rescheduling twice due to Covid We have stayed at Hasbrouck now multiple times and have absolutely loved it each and every time

The hotel is gorgeous and the staff is amazing! Shout out to Mauricio! We can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I spent 2 nights celebrating our first anniversary The room was clean and spacious The staff was very nice and attentive

The food at the onsite restaurant was delicious We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquility as well as the game room in the basement We could have played pool or the classic video games like Frogger or Mr Do all night We are definitely looking forward to our next trip

We stayed for a weekend in winter and had a wonderful time Even though the weather was gloomy, we were able to occupy ourselves in the game room with darts, pool, and arcade games, chill by the fire with board games and wine, and enjoy the remarkable restaurant in the evening and breakfast spread in morning We loved being able to walk to the lake and enjoy the nightly bonfire

The staff made us feel welcome and provided us with every need – smores kits, a flower vase, glasses for wine – you name it I would highly recommend visiting and can’t wait to go back!
