The outside of the hotel and the main lobby appears to be really nice and clean But the rooms are not clean The bathroom was filthy it was so disgusting we didn’t want to stay there anymore after we checked in

The floor of the bathtub was black, the soap dish had mold underneath and the corners of the shower walls were moldy as well The oldish style floor tile had not been cleaned in what seemed like a long time I mean for it to be that filthy it had to be dirty for awhile with no one cleaning it properly We were afraid to sleep in the beds, but we had to because everywhere else was completely booked! I didn’t sleep well because I was so worried that we would catch bed bugs or something The swimming pool was a greenish color and so was the hot tub I will say that the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was not so bad But even so, I would NEVER stay there again and hope that someone cleans this hotel as soon as possible!! I’m talking about a deep scrubbing, not just tidying up I do not recommend staying at this hotel!

We have stayed here once before, but it was several years ago We were immediately greeted by Corey upon our arrival and he was very friendly, well mannered, and helpful Once we got checked in, I went back to the front to get a bowl for our dog’s food and an extra pillow

Once again, Corey was quick to help us and ensure we had everything we needed All your staff was very helpful, but Corey’s service and attitude went above and beyond expectations!! GREAT JOB SIR It really makes a difference when you have been on the road all day and you come into such a clean, welcoming and friendly atmosphere KEEP IT UP!!

Karen at the front desk was amazing as for the rooms and the cleaning of the rooms Disgusting! So the first room had black mold all over the bathtub When I went to the front desk to complain there was a housekeeper on the elevator and was just like an everyday occurrence he just said Yep that’s black mold like he knew they had it Then I asked if they bleached and he said no can’t

So we move to a second room Again Karen was awesome and very apologetic Second room hair ball in the bathtub Bathroom counter was gross dirty The housekeepers were down the hall so I went down and showed them a picture asked for wipes and gloves! COULDN’T Believe when she handed them to me and didn’t even bat an eye that she should be cleaning it not me! So I cleaned it myself Poor Karen again at the front desk let me know how sorry she was about the whole ordeal and offered again to move me We were there for a funeral and needed to get ready to go to the visitation I am So very DISAPPOINTED in The Hampton INN She did advise this property is due for a remodel but seriously my problems had nothing to do with a remodel had to do with Filthy Rooms! Karen 100% made it right and took care of our room cost But, Seriously had she not handled it with kindness and compassion I would have been a lot more upset! The next morning when I came down by the front desk she was very kind and let me know she took care of the room Karen was walking around the lobby checking on other guests as well As far as your cleaning crew they could use some training on doing their job Karen Thank you again for being understanding and Kind in making this right! I will be avoiding Hampton Inn’s for quite awhile after this trip

Night and day difference from the Marriott hotel I stayed in the last two nights in the area Although I wish I would have known the bistro was closed {a selling feature to me is having a bar + food}, there is a grab-and-go area that is fully stocked The lobby is clean and modern; it looks relatively new

The room is very open, clean, sanitary and well appointed with a fridge, microwave and TV with Netflix capabilities The staff was super accommodating when I requested an early check-in two days ago Good for business travel with a large desk area; business center off of the lobby; and a comfortable desk chair I wish I would have been here the whole time There are restaurants and drinking establishments in walking distance, and the area feels safe I’d stay here again if I make it out this way

Worst experience ever! After traveling for 10 hours the only thing I wanted to do was shower and get in bed, the towels had hair embedded in a couple of them the Director of Sales Jill Hefner was very rude Although our rooms had been fully paid prior to arrival we were told we had to pay and additional $350 for any damages we would cause while lodging My daughter forgot to inform her bank we would be out of town and her card was declined, Ms

Hefner thought it was appropriate to loudly state ” No! It was declined because there were no funds on the card” When my daughter returned with me I could hear Ms Hefner on the phone with a my son-in-law (who is Caucasian) bending over backwards to accommodate him We have a Platinum membership and have traveled extensively and each time we book there is always a problem with my daughter being treated as if she’s a criminal who has stolen someone’s identity and has to answer a plethora of questions, until her husband gets involved then ever alleged issue magically disappears The hotel rooms are not worth the overpriced charges, the bathrooms are dated and not the cleanest, when we called for clean towels the next afternoon I was told there were no towels available and that I would have to towels become available

Joe Vittling

On a work trip, so disappointed in the room The room looks great however the bathroom fan which has a weird rattling sound to it does not shut off Even if I close the bathroom door I hear the odd sounding fan through the wall

I figured I could just cover it up by turning the HVAC fan on Nope, that fan also is messed up I’m certain there will not be much sleep tonight and I’m going to have to purchase a fan at Walmart tomorrow to try to mask these sounds I feel like I’m back in a barracks in the military Would never come back to this place or recommend

My husband and I got in really late and we paid 169$ (Including tax) and we were disappointed in our stay1 The bed was the hardest bed I have ever slept on!!2 I kept finding little hairs throughout the bathroom which was really gross3

There were a few lights out in our room which made the room really light4 With the cost of what this hotel costs you would think that there would be a complimentary breakfast but no (I know I should of done my research but most hiltons I have stayed at have a complimentary breakfast)5 The walls are so thin you can hear everything going on in the hallway6 This place is very outdated I wish I would of read the recent reviews With the price we paid we should of got a better room somewhere else7 Oh and we had a very cold shower The water didn’t get hot and it was very Lukewarm

At first glance hotel seems nice Lobby is clean and appears really clean The pool was drained and closed

The room was nice size King with pullout The drain on the tub didn’t drain so you stood in water when showering The mattress seemed to be a foam temperpedic but it was compacted or sagging in the middle The cable TV is total garbage and we usually like to bring our appletv to plug into the tv and watch our Amazon and HuLu but the room had no hard wired internet Wifi was also too slow to stream And then of course the hotel hall floors are wood and not like the new ones where they pour thin concrete for sound deadening We had kids running up and down the halls until I finally told them how loud and rude they were being to other guests I guess their parents didn’t care and either did the hotel management We won’t be staying at this Hilton again

I cannot express how disappointed I am in my stay I would not have paid $50 for my stay and I paid 5 times that The room was fine at best but nothing like I expected, no hot tub and a pool that would have barely held 5 children, and the breakfast was so pathetic we just went out to eat

Plus we had to switch rooms after our ac would not work and the second room they put us in smelled and all the sheets were nasty smelling I will never go to any Fairfield inn again after this experience Save your money in my opinion

Place is nice, parking lot is not safe and they don’t care about thisAt night, when normally people come in, there’s nobody at the front desk, if you make enough noise someone will come over Bathroom frame in room was so old and probably damaged too so when you walk to the bathroom or in the surrounding areas it will make a ridiculous loud noise, unless you’re staying alone this soy work since everyone in the room will wake up every time someone goes to the bathroom or walks to the fridge to get water…

The AC doesn’t go below 66 and even when set at this temp it will not cool down more than 72, an entire night set up at 66 and we woke up every hour because we were sweating, why? Because AC don’t workFridge would keep stuff a hit cooler than room temp but not cold unless you keep pressing the “fast cooldown” every hour…Walls are quite thin and floors weakPet fee is one of the highest in hotels and they still give you a hard time with your furry friendsNot sure how clean bedding and towels really were, they smell and felt like they had been wash with just water

My husband and I stayed in this hotel on a recent trip to St Louis, and it met every expectation! The room was very spacious and so clean! The staff were friendly and inviting The hotel was quiet and we got plenty of rest! Check-In was fast and efficient

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice stay in St Louis!

Elijah Steinbauer

The room and hotel were clean on a basic day to day level There were some orange and black spots on the bathroom ceiling The key cards to 2-5 attempts to work

So, some signs of neglect and disrepair Continental breakfast was good and all the staff seemed nice For hotels on a road trip it was better than many, but not really what I expect from a Hilton

Just Chillin

Very nice place to stay! But very disappointed when we went for breakfast thinking it was included! We just helped ourselves and her comes someone who lays down a bill for almost 3000! Me n wife didn’t eat that much at all This has never happened before! Later we seen the price written on a small chalkboard! Otherwise would have gave 5 stars

Never Stay again Let your customers no with a sign BREAKFAST NOT INCLUDED WITH YOUR STAY! VERY DISAPPOINTING

Traveled from MI for a horse show at the National Equestrian Center I booked a room for two nights and ended up extending my stay an extra nightThe hotel appears to be new or newly renovated; the public areas were very clean

The rooms were immaculate and the beds were comfortable The front desk staff was warm, welcoming, and very helpfulI would definitely stay at this location again

April Poteat-Brittain

While traveling across the US, this was one of five hotels we had booked for our trip last week Out of all the hotel experiences, this was by far the best From check in to check out, we felt that the quality matches the price

Breakfast was yummy, beds comfy, clean rooms and friendly staff! Will definitely book here if we are traveling through again!

Terri Wilhite

Phenomenal staff

Front desk ladies were best any hotel could ask for to represent you for guests checking in, especially like us, fatigued from long drive, previous night in a competitors hotel w/horrific facility, “food”, etc, hence we “bolted” to this hotel Though on the road due to a death in the family, our stay here (& your staff) were so kind and we managed to get some well-needed rest Thank you!!

Pool area was clean however no clean towels and pool water was SOOOOO cold even the kids wouldn’t swim in it The gym area was nice and the grounds were nice especially for being pet friendly Did not like how we had to leave are trash bags outside the room in the hallway was gross as no one came for them for almost a week Nor was I given anymore trash bags for refills

kathie gaylor

From the moment we walked in the door until the time we left, we felt at home! The front desk staff were very attentive and helpful when needed and the hotel and exercise room was well tended toI have to say my favorite was Vanessa serving our breakfast ! She has a greeting for everyone and great attitude! I really appreciate how hard she works and the wonderful choices she offers every day! Great cinnamon rolls!

Brian Hansen

The hotel is OK as far as Residence Inns go Marriott is struggling as a brand since there is zero enforcement of what used to be high standards For instance, I stayed at this hotel two months ago and their American flag outside is torn and needs replacement

Yet despite bringing that to a Manager’s attention, two months later it is still not corrected Rooms are not cleaned daily despite significant easing of COVID restrictions The breakfast is OK, and they have replaced the small bottles of shampoo and conditioner with larger, pump bottles which may or may not be sticking on the shower walls All in all this hotel is serviceable but could use better attention to the finer details

I ended up staying here for 6 weeks for work It was nicely priced, very clean and the Customer Service was great They even had snacks available that was affordable and not a rip off

Never had any problems I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others I’m real picky and I was very happy Keep it up, thanks for the good memories

Every time my wife and I go to St Louis for a concert at Powell Hall we stay the night to avoid the drive back home at 2:00 in the morning The last two times we’ve always stayed at the same hotel

Every time we go it is clean and well kept Nice breakfast in the morning including scrambled eggs and sausage, gravy and fruits and cereal to choose from For the price I would highly recommend The only downside is it is about 20 or 30 minutes out of downtown St Louis

We arrived at the hotel at 10:35pm this past Saturday only to be told that, despite our credit card guaranteed room, DUE TO A PLUMBING PROBLEM AT THE HOTEL we no longer have a room at their property The staff at the desk were as helpful as they could be They tried to place us at an area hotel, but could not because hotels in the area were all sold out

Our 4-hour drive home began at 11pm when it was determined no rooms in the area could be foundWe feel that travelers at large should be aware that; (1) the hotel has a serious plumbing issue, (2) the hotel may not honor a credit card guaranteed room, and (3) the hotel manager was nowhere to be found during this awful situationThe staff at the desk were clearly distraught over the matter Our feeling is they did all they could, but they deserved better support from a manager during this dreadful affair

The rooms themselves were very nice but I was concerned that they allowed tables and seating area right outside the main entrance You could smell cigarette smoke and the men sit there watching you unload your car Made us feel very uncomfortable

For 20000 a night ,I expected better They need to move the seating area to the side or back

Brad Lyman

I stayed here for a local wedding and it’s in an ideal spot There are plenty of nearby restaurants, shops, banks, etc

And that can be a real life-saver when you gotta run to grab something you forgotI was able to check in a bit early and the staff were friendly and quick The parking lot is plenty big even if you have a truck or SUV

I’ve never had a bad experience at a Drury Inn, and this was no exception Hotel was very clean, staff extremely friendly Our room was clean and comfortable

And every Drury I’ve stayed in offers 3 drinks and a full dinner each night of your stay, and a full hot breakfast every morning Nice pool area, although I will say the hot tub is a bit small Once you put 4-5 people in there your sitting on top of one another While we in the hot tub we did have a staff member come in and ask if the temperature was adequate and if we needed anything, which I thought was very nice Over all i would recommend Drury

Matthew Boley

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the past few years for business trips, but this was my first visit in three years I like the location It is right next to the Mid Rivers Mall and several other shops and eateries

The staff is friendly and helpfulMy concern this last trip was that several of my coworkers expressed issues with their rooms One was odor related and another involved a bedding cleanliness issue that is concerning for any hotel traveler These items were reported and they were accommodated with different rooms More attention can be paid to these items by the management and staff and the issues can be addressed

Shari Gaddy

Checking in was easy and quick Drury charges more for their room because they offer dinner there However, we have only utilized this service once

The last time we checked in two minutes before they stopped serving and were not offered the dinner or happy hour drinks If I’m not going to utilize this service, then don’t charge me extra for the room The room was clean and very nice

I had my wedding reception at this hotel and it was wonderful! I stayed there the night before and the night of, and I could not say enough good about it We had a great room, the staff was helpful with everything, and the wedding coordinator, Bruce, made my wedding incredible! He was responsive to emails, he answered any questions we had, and he made sure that everything happened how we wanted it One thing that was important to us for our wedding was being able to have flexibility with food we could have and different vendors

They were able to accommodate everything we wanted It was better than we could have imagined!

Michael McGreevy

I stayed at the hotel for 10 nights The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful The lobby bar and restaurant were quite good

I wasn’t expecting much when it comes to food (from a hotel bar), but it was really good! The outdoor pool and pool bar was really nice to have after a long work day The only thing that I was surprised by was that my room didn’t have a fridge or microwave I probably overlooked that while booking I would stay at this hotel again

tim gross

The rooms got 3 stars because there is no mini fridge or microwave in the rooms Service was a bit poor We stayed two days

It was always hard to find a luggage cart The worse part was room service came in our room at 9am No knock or anything That’s not even close to checkout time Breakfast was good and the elevators are fast

We ended up there during a huge flash flood and really felt welcomed Beds were super comfortable, the room was great It was just weird there was no fan in the bathroom and no restaurants around

But I would really recommend this place We were lucky to be here during this record breaking flooding Having a safe place that was comfortable and had people in good spirits really made a difference

I am a frequent business traveler who stays at various Holiday Inn Express hotels around the US, always staying five or so nights

This HIE is exceptional All the staff is extremely welcoming and attentive Clean, good breakfast, and quietThe manager here deserves a lot of recognition Shawn was always greeting me and politely asking me if everything was to my satisfaction in my room I am a pretty easy-going and low maintenance guest, but I took note and really appreciated the care and desire he displayed to acknowledge me and verify that all was right with my stay It makes me believe he has great leadership and confidence in him and his staff’s ability to provide great service (where he’s not afraid to ask you)The gentleman who did breakfast (with the cool red high tops!) had the same great attitude as well He greeted me each day, and went out of his way to be helpful and kind He offered to make me an additional pancake after he observed the machine had been disabled for a minute or so after I had gotten my breakfast It’s the little actions of going above and beyond that really stand out to meAlso, I like the whiteboard the staff has in the breakfast lounge It’s quite creative They have their names on there, tell you the weather, among some other cools things Honestly, it made me smile and adds a “homey” feel to your stayAgain, all the staff was great here This was a clean, friendly, and quiet hotel It is undoubtedly one the very best IHG hotels I’ve ever stayed at

We had a generally lackluster stay here — passable but with issuesPROS:• Ample well-lighted parking• Easy access to Hwy 40 and 364• Generally quiet locationCONS:• Each time we went to the front desk (check-in, housekeeping/towel service, and checkout), we had to go find the clerk, who was off in the back office, laundry room, food area, or elsewhere• On the Choice Hotels website for Sleep Inn, we’d been assigned a pet-friendly room, which we didn’t want, and we’d requested a quiet room on a high floor

We asked for a similar king room that wasn’t for pet owners and were never told that the substitute would be a first-floor ADA room instead (The ADA room meant no storage under sink, bars and chair in the shower, and a zero-edge shower floor)• The toilet seat was nearly off its hinges, moving at least an inch with a touch (not safe in any room, let alone an ADA one)• The sink leaked both at the faucet and underneath (it had plastic caps added under the sink as though repaired previously, but water still ran down the tile and puddled on the floor, with dead bugs along the tile, and was wet enough on the counter to soak through an entire box of tissue)• Due to the sink leak and edge-free shower, there was continually water on the floor, and since housekeeping is available only upon request, it was hard to find enough towels/bath mats to wipe it up• The restroom had no bath fan, giving it a humid, cave-like, musty feel due to the water issues in that space• Upon checking out, we told the general manager that we’d been charged an extra $30 for this ADA room by the registration clerk (even though we weren’t notified of the circumstances of the room at that time), and we said that we wanted to pay only what our original receipt was supposed to be She twice told us she couldn’t adjust it since we booked through a third-party site (not true — we booked directly through Choice Hotels, Sleep Inn’s corporate parent)• We were then told that the price adjustment hadn’t occurred on their end (also not accurate) and told we must’ve booked an extension to our stay (we hadn’t)• When I produced the original Choice Hotels e-mail, showing the booking price $30 lower than what we were charged, she then found in their system that the registration clerk had indeed done an override and in fact charged us more upon check-in• We asked her to fix it and produce a zeroed-out paid invoice, but she told us that she was tired and needed to go home and sleep — that she would do it the next day I then asked for a note or e-mail of some kind to at least acknowledge that this would happen, but she again stated that she was tired and needed to go home (7:30 am) When I asked if someone else on her team could do it, she said that, no, she was the general manager and she would need to back it out and rerun it herself To her credit, that did happen, and we did not have to call Choice Hotels corporate customer service to fix the adjustment, but overall it seems that the general manager sets the tone for the quality of customer service, and this experience did not represent one I’d care to repeat

The hotel is not as fancy as other Sleep Inn’s I have been to, but was adequate There was nothing that would make me not want to stay here againThe exceptional:The beds were comfortable, as in, not rock hard

(pillows were small as Chiclets though – 3 per bed in my room)Lobby area was niceGood location off interstate, easy to get toThe expected stuff that is good:Free breakfastLocation has a small indoor poolFridge, Microwave, desk and TVThe less good (but not deal breakers – just observations):Doors were weird, you had to pull up on the room handle to open door instead of down as you would think you shouldBathrooms are a sink in the main room, and the toilet/shower in their own room, not a fan of this configuration, but I know it’s pretty commonMy lamp at the bedside table had a burnt out lightthe Outlet at the desk didn’t work
