Hotel is really nice, pleasant Bed was a bit too firm for our liking, but it’s impossible for a hotel to please everyone in this regard We were not impressed with the lounge on the top floor, it wasn’t all that busy but we were ignored for quite awhile before we decided to just walk over to one of the restaurants at the retail facility next door

We arrived at this La Quinta for a concert nearby We did not have a reservation but they found a room for us Unfortunately after being in the room for 15 minutes we realized you could hear every car on the highway and there’s no way would could sleep

We asked the clerk if we could have another room not facing the highway She was happy to give us a room facing the parking lot We enjoyed our stay and it’s close to concert venues and other spots in the Cedar Park area We would stay at this hotel again for sure

We lost power in our home and checked in here because it was close to my partners studio When we checked in there were still items from the previous guests left behind and the front desk employee was fast in finding us another room that was bigger When we checked out we left a pillow behind and the same day I called to ask about the pillow

I was told to call back in the morning, then in the morning I was told to call back in the afternoon When I spoke to the third employee they said no pillow was left behind and when I asked what the protocol was for items left behind I was told there was a lost and found Then they stopped communicating with me altogether I’m so disappointed after such great service to not get one straight answer about where my item ended up

We have been to the Hill Country Casitas for several years and we always have the most relaxing stay There are great views of the hill country from all the Casitas and the amenities Casitas are dog friendly and our dog loves spending time out there as well

The grounds are immaculate as well as the individual Casitas We always enjoy a glass of wine by the outdoor fireplace The kitchenette is the perfect size to cook breakfast or other simple meals It’s also fun to cook on the grill that is with each Casita and hang out on the porch The beds are super comfortable, better than most hotel beds The Casitas are well designed and furnished; they are nice and cozy! The newly constructed pool and hot tub are wonderful additions to the property and will be great for the summers The Pavilion is perfect for special events, family get togethers or corporate retreats There is something for everyone at the Hill Country Casitas!

THIS IS A WARNING FOR ALL WOMEN The room was nice, clean However, there was a night shift employee who brought it upon himself to come up to mine & my sister’s room, after we had left the pool, and use the master key to invite himself in to our room unannounced

No knock, no call on the phone My sister had just gotten out of the shower and I was about to get in Luckily we had the door stopper on the door otherwise he would have fully entered When asked what he was doing, he claimed there was an emergency alert going off My sister and I had not hit any sort of button, and we asked the front desk if there was even an emergency button to hit and they said no We were highly confused by this encounter, as well as fully creeped out We will not be staying at this hotel again, and I hope this does not happen to any other women staying at this hotel & traveling alone either

This is a family run Holiday Inn and the excellent quality of service reflects their hands on care in wanting to provide the best experience for their guests Every element of our stay provided a wonderful end of summer get away for us with our daughter and two grandsons From the service provided from check in with the front desk employee, Coy, to our check out was top notch

A wonderful breakfast buffet was offered each morning The covered pool is small but provided a wonderful break from the Texas heat The location is great in that you are removed from a lot of the Austin traffic and close to such lakeside dining venues as The Oasis and Vincent’s We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and so greatly appreciate the desire this franchise owner has to provide excellent accommodations

This has been the worst hotel experience I have ever had The room that they gave us was on the bottom floor, and you could literally hear EVERYTHING People walking, drawers opening and closing, house keeping going around at 8am! I booked a stay here for 6 nights for business and personal reasons

After hardly sleeping the first night, I asked if they could move me to the top floor I was told no and that no one is booked into the room above me to stay that next night I gave it a try and could here everything, and again barely slept Then house keeping came into my room at 9am I asked to be moved again and the woman working in the evening accommodated my request (which was nice) This was my third night here Then I get a call at 9am Monday, while I am working saying that the “blue plastic” soap trays are missing from the room To be honest, I do not know if they were there when I got the room or not But to spend 700$ here and to be called and essentially accused of stealing cheap made in china soap trays (I know this because they are in my current room), is absolutely insane I am cutting my trip short and heading home The location is good but it is not worth the trouble, stay at the Hyatt down the road and thank yourself later

I had made an error on my reservations I called, and the young man on duty on the afternoon of Friday 2/18/22 called other guests checking in to reassign rooms so we would not have to change rooms during our stay! Excellent customer care!We stayed one night for a wedding that started at 3pm We arrived slightly early and had requested to move to a different room for road noise, still before the check-in time, and were accommodated When we returned from the wedding to find a plastic baggie containing my toothbrush and toothpaste that I had forgotten in the first room! Housekeeping staff went above and beyond to rescue that for me when it could have very easily been cleaned out and written off, and we are extremely grateful for that

Beyond that, the breakfast was fantastic with a great variety of choices, and no acid reflux for me!

This hotel was fabulous! Plenty of parking, and the room was very clean and modern and included fluffy nice towels and little toiletries Had everything my daughter and i needed for her gymnastics event in the area We where greeted with very friendly staff when we arrived

The lobby, hallways and common areas where all very well kept We did jump in the pool and enjoyed it We also did eat the breakfast buffet, they do charge extra for the breakfast which we though came with the room but we paid it and where satisfied The server even went above and beyond and brought my daughter a bowl of strawberries because the buffet fruit bowl had run out and that’s all she was wanting Location was also nice, it’s close to enough fast food places to grab and go when running to the event and back We would definitely stay there again

Eden Rule

Rooms are typical for a hotel, the only staff member we experienced was nice They add odd amounts for deposits and incidentals so keep a close eye on your bill and charges I experienced this as well as others ahead of me in line discussing it at check in/check out

The worst part is it is very loud outside being as it is right off the freeway I’m usually not bothered by noise but between the loud cars driving by all night and the a/c system turning on and off every 10-15 minutes, this was a terrible place to stay if you want uninterrupted sleep Hope you are a heavy, heavy sleeper Sounded like a drag race going on as cars revved and sped past all night Had the a/c set as low as it would go because the room was very stuffy feeling, and I guess they have a timer set or the system is guarded because it would not stay on I’ve never had this happen Between the noise of the system shutting on and off and then the temperature getting stuffy, cool, stuffy, cool all night, I couldn’t sleep Overpriced to start with and then difficult to get any sleep made it worse Oh, and don’t even get me started on the sorry excuse for pillows Don’t waste your money here if you need to sleep and have an early morning or long drive the next day

I got a great rate on this room The hotel is in a very convenient location for work or events in North Austin, and it’s still possible to get downtown and do things in the evening The free breakfast is really excellent with several good choices, the beds are very comfortable, and there is a pool and a small gym

I’ve got there cause a friend of mine gave me a discount I like the hotel, nice rooms, gym a little small, good breakfast, but one day as I brushed my teeth, a bulb exploded on my face, down there there’s no alcohol the only thing the have is antibacterial hands soap Afte r having payed everything in cash o got a 100 payment charged to my card 4 days later

So be careful with the bulbs and with the bank statements Other than that it’s OKI’m never coming back cause I exposed this situation and never got an apology, not even a discount

We stay at this Fairfield Inn every year after we spend a few days in Wimberley with family The staff is always friendly and helpful and the rooms are always very clean – as is the entire hotel After a few fun and tiring days with family, it was especially challenging to wake up in time for breakfast so they graciously held open the morning breakfast a few extra minutes for us today

Clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, cheerful and conscientious breakfast attendant Most extraordinary front desk and sales manager, Rosie, who went above and beyond her duties to pick us up when our car got a flat tire about 15 minutes from the hotel and we had no spare tire! She took us to a Hertz location about 20 miles from the hotel so we could rent a car She definitely bent over backwards to accommodate our needs

I went to two other hotels closer to the city and one was a 4 star and the other was a 3 star BOTH were gross in terms of air quality and cleanliness THIS hotel was simple but exactly what I was looking for no smells in the lobby or room (im sensitive to perfume type things) spacious, clean, everything seems new still, beds were comfortable, had updated lighting with usb and plugs, lots of lighting in room if you choose, nice big tv, good size bathroom, supplies shampoo and conditioner and they are quality products (even the 4-star didn’t do that)

Staff at front desk was extremely nice (red hair) recommended a great coffee place Overall this place took my stress level down a notch Thank you

I loved the view The room wasn’t bad at all The bed on the other hand was very lumpy and uncomfortable

I woke up with back pain Otherwise the view is nice and the patio view is impeccable They had a two bed room available for $100 cash It was worth the view and the complimentary breakfast in the morning Had a small microwave and refrigerator in the room The curtains were nice, kept the room dark and has a beautiful decorative beach like picture Overall I’d definitely go back Maybe next time get a king bed Thank you

I booked on booking mcom After I booked they called me to confirm we told them we wouldn’t be there till late (1am) they told us we couldn’t check in after 11 an canceled our room and kept our money!!! Completely unfair!!!! And I Contacted Booking

com and they sent an email to this hotel to try to get our money back and they wouldn’t do it

The room was good But there are a few issuesFirstly, breakfast for the rate is just pathetic

A doggy bag containing a muffin and a granola bar The weekend was better but even then it’s bear minimum Considering how much we paid that was just sad; this is no $60 a night hotel roomAlso the on site cleaning The rooms are great… 10/10 The pool however in the time we stayed was never checked and there was empty bottles and food wrappers in the corners of the pool area all weekWhen I checked out there was someone there, clearly not the manager who just snapped the cards out of my hand and said bye No hospitality Honest it is probably a good thing because if she would have asked how my stay was, I probably would have asked for a partial refundIf this was a one night stop (which does seem the case for most) then this place will do If I would have known about certain factors before I would have just gone to the Hampton up the roadThis place has potential, but seriously needs hospitality and management training

I had a two day reservation and looked online to see about availability to extend, which was good I called the front desk to extend and did so I was awaken at 2:30am in my hotel room with a cell call from the front desk to ask if I was still planning to arrive

at 2:30am, as a registered guest sleeping upstairsugh !! I am now operating off of 4hrs sleep because I couldn’t fall back to sleep, great job

My room was well-stocked, spacious and clean There was a complimentary hot breakfast Caveat for pet owners: I make sure to know the pet policy everywhere I stay, so I was aware of the pet fee when checking in and was just waiting on them to bring it up

I noticed they only mentioned it after they swiped my card for the room I could see that turning into an argument between guests and staff if it hasn’t already happened Maybe tell people before you charge them for the room that there will be a pet fee to avoid any conflicts

Our stay here was during off season, so the restaurant was relatively quiet, but they made us comfortable and let us sit outdoor on the deck where we could enjoy the gorgeous view of the sunset on the water Amazing! The food was delicious and my steak was cooked perfectly But the real highlight was the incredible service and attention we received

The manager Bai (not sure if I am spelling that correctly) was gracious,helpful, and attentive Our server Armand was so warm, personal and kind They really made the atmosphere and the experience quite special

The room was nice but smelled musty and I suspect it was previously a smoking room at dinner point It was clean and the air conditioning worked great The breakfast is not great, but you get what you pay for and it is free

Very decent stayPros – The hotel room was very clean, which is very appreciated The staff are very attentive and helpful

Breakfast is standard fare but nicely made and totally reasonable for hotel fare It seemed like the floors were very thick – this makes a difference when travelling with little kids that like to go nuts and stomp around hotel rooms In general, I felt that the rooms very well insulated from a sound/noise aspectCons (relatively minor) – The bed was less supportive than those of other hotels I’ve stayed at recently – I can tell based on whether or not I am pulled into the middle because my larger husband is sinking the mattress inward!!! The rooms are a bit dim even if all lights are onWe had a short stay and found the hotel comfortable and very nice Thank you for the restful stay!

Nice, clean and large sized room Breakfast is decent, scrambled eggs, potato and sausage Including 2 Waffle makers, we liked the one that makes 4 individual waffles so you don’t have to commit to more than you want

The staff is professional, courteous and one of the friendliest We really enjoyed our stay, everything was outstanding, except for a minor issue with shower knob coming loose We alerted the staff on our way checking out and they were set to get it fixed The only comment that I have was regarding the placement of the coffee maker in the bathroom next to a bathroom sink I personally, won’t be drinking coffee from a machine getting splashed on from washing activities Keep up the good work

The only thing we didn’t like were the beds The pillows just get flat after a while, and the bed in our room seemed so hard Neither one of us got a good night’s sleep That said, if I stay here again, I’m bringing my own pillows from home The breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage links, breakfast potatoes, and french toast sticks, along with the other usual items like cereal and toast The cafe lattes are fabulous
