I only stayed for a night and checked in very late The staff was so nice and polite The hotel is very nice and clean

Unfortunately my sheets were dirty on the bed and the toilet was very dirty Besides the room not being turned over correctly it was a very nice stay The rooms are spacious, air conditioning works great They provide body wash and shampoo I the bathroom There’s a TV iron and a mini fridge that fits a good amount of left overs There is also a nice Starbucks in the lobby and a nice mini mart with frozen dinners and snacks since things aren’t open very late in that area

Brianna Hawkins

This was a good stay! I was in town for work and stayed here for a week! The hotel and the rooms were clean But the best part was TONY at the front desk!!!! He was so personable, willing to help answer my questions, and gave me a rundown of the area! Some of the best customer service I have ever received! The only reason this stay loses a star is because I prepaid for a King room but was given a Queen because all of the Kings were gone on the first night of my stay but the staff worked to change it for my remaining 6 nights which was great!

I have to say, I was very frustrated to find out that this location didn’t have a pool The frustration came from a badly placed google image of a pool that the hotel used to have, right when you google the hotels name It was confusing and misleading

Therefore, we cancelled our stay, but still got charged due to hotel policyI voiced my concerns to Marriott and within a few short days, they got me in touch with the Front Desk Supervisor Their name was Alex and they were extremely helpful and pleasant to speak with Alex got everything squared away for me and issued a refundI just really appreciated the effort and the help from this hotel We may not have stayed there this time but judging by how helpful the staff was, we’d stay in the future Thank you again!!

This hotel was very clean, it was a very nice place to stay Kat greeted us when we checked in, was very nice and very helpful She suggested a place to eat about a mile away which was very good

Didn’t check out the pool area but judging by the rest of the place, it would be great Breakfast was hot, coffee was very good Highly recommend this place

Pai Nam Cheung

Don’t know why the digital key never work, this is not the first time, I am disappointed The free breakfast sounds good but not tasting right, we tried the first morning then we never went back again Waffle batter taste fake, I will rather no favor but real batter

Hard boil egg will be great or just a small charge and do it right My stepdaughter live closeby, I would love to have a great hotel to stay all the time

David Strong

Interesting experience for a usually reliable Hampton Inn We were “upgraded” to 201, a larger room Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit is not up to the task of keeping the room cool

it’s an unseasonably hot June The hotel provided a box fan to get through the night Not a good long-term plan Moreover, the 2nd floor ice machine was not working Had to go to the 3rd floor The staff was pleasant and helpful

The rooms are dated (if that’s important to you), but mostly my concern is carpet which was very dated and felt dirty (i didn’t get close enough to thoroughly inspect, just wear your flip flops and it’s fine) The AC and fridge were both pretty loud but just white noise so that didn’t bother us too muchFront desk people were all very nice and answered any questions we had

Pool looked clean but we didn’t get a chance to use it Breakfast room is small (i guess not everyone eats their free breakfast)Neighborhood: i mean the mall is in view which also means lots of restaurants and next door is dominoes which for us was a great option for a late dinner Not a great place to walk around since you’re surrounded by main roads but we managed a stroll and it felt pretty safe

Grace Gardner

This hotel was actually so awful I came here on a school trip and we got our room and it wasn’t cleaned since the last stay, my classmates rooms weren’t cleaned either The beds were messy and the bathroom was gross

We ended up getting new rooms and the sheets didn’t fit the bed The toilet wouldn’t flush and numerous other rooms had plumbing issues too The downstairs wasn’t being used because there was water damage in the basement There weren’t many breakfast options either The bedding was practically just sheets, it gave off creepy vibes and a 13 year old was hit on by another person staying here The only reason I’m putting 2 stars and not one is because the pool was great, and the outside was pretty cool I do NOT recommend!!!

Melanie Garbaini

Great location Outdated decor/ rooms Extremely dirty pool with no running filter and hardly any chlorine

Friendly employees Front desk does not answer the phones though Breakfast was very simple So not try the Blueberry waffle mix, it’s awful Bed was comfortable Rooms did not receive service Stains on shear curtains No dark curtains to block out lightThere are other hotels in the same area that are probably much better

I had my wedding here 06/25/22 and rate it a 10/10 Jamie and Dana were so responsive when I had questions (and there were A LOT) and made my day exactly how I pictured I loved the property and that it had overnight accommodations

I love how they have up to 3 getting ready spaces too They did updates to the ballroom and patio which looked stunning Food was great too!

Patricia Connelly

Wow! Is what comes to mind when I think of this place My husband and I came for our anniversary We were met with friendly greetings

We had a lovely room to stay in Everything was spotless and clean We enjoyed happy hour and the bartender was very polite We enjoyed the food and drinks Thank you for your great hospitality We hope to come back one day soon!

Emily Levy

Nothing compares to Joseph Ambler Inn! They have everything you could want for a perfect, small to medium rustic wedding There are great options for both indoor and outdoor ceremony spaces The whole campus is gorgeous and well kept

The food is SO GOOD!!! Having on-site accommodations was a major plus for both in and out of town guests Walking across the courtyard after partying all night was the perfect commute Their wedding package includes so much: Open bar, all food, champagne toast, day of coordinator, wedding cake, bridal suite, honeymoon suite for the couple(!) I’m sure I’m missing things Jamie was very responsive and really worked with us in terms of budget and logistics She was great I saw a few reviews saying they aren’t very responsive, but that’s not true I will say I was very pro-active in setting up my own times to talk with Jamie, and I think that may be important to do, rather than waiting on her to reach out if you’re an antsy bride like me Meg, our day-of coordinator was a total rock star! There were quite a few moving parts I was concerned about during the day, but the whole thing went FLAWLESSLY My husband and I (and our guests!) can’t stop raving about this venue We can’t wait to go back just to eat at the restaurant

*Is currently under construction/remodel, but still had a nice stay! Overall the construction didnt affect our stay Rooms were nice- great bed and nice pillows! Nick at the front desk was great! Very nice, pleasant and patient The location was pretty nice-close enough to the highway, gas stations and restaurants too

Only real complaint was the dim lighting of some parking areas, other than that it was good

Josh Gonzalez

Overall a very great experience, room was very nice and clean with updated interior Room was equipped with a new smart TV and usb chargers This was especially helpful for keeping my phone and other devices charged

Bathroom was clean and well taken care of with nice bath and body toiletries My room was also equipped with a king size bed and it was super comfortable I only stayed here one night because I was stuck in town with the snow storm, but was more than impressed My only suggestion is Room Service needs to let people sleep in If I’m checking out at 11am, there’s no reason they should be waking me up at 8am knocking and yelling “ROOM SERVICE”

Glen Gorman

Showed up to the hotel for my brother’s wedding and the stay was phenomenal! All the accomodations were fantastic, super supportive staff and everyone was incredibly friendlyA special shout-out to Christine, at the front desk She was instrumental in helping me get in my room after me arriving too late and was a joy to be around

I may never be back in this area, but if I am I will go out of my way to choose this hotel Thank you Christine! -グレン

Great hotel, beds, food and coffee Night manager was very kind and helped me with extra pillows in the middle of the night Great staff EXCEPT the housekeeper who knocked on our door and woke us up before 8 am and entered when we did not answer yelling housekeeping

When reported, I was informed they were not supposed to do that I could not go back to sleep and stayed in the lobby for a long time waiting for my family to wake up so I wouldn’t interrupt their sleep again and for the day manager to arrive Paying to sleep somewhere and getting woke up by staff is kind of a fail when SLEEPING is the purpose of getting a hotel Without this occurring, this hotel would be a 5 All other staff members were great but I can’t look past it Offered late check out but when you can’t go back to sleep, what’s the point When I told the manager that, she offered nothing else Shame It takes a lot for me to complain and I am very easy to get along with and kind It’s not too much to ask to be left alone to sleep at a hotel

Jim Reynolds

Avoid this location! The staff was nonexistent for pretty much my entire 4 day stay, and the tall woman I was able to track down a couple times seemed to be in a daze Very poor customer service, the staff were all rude and disrespectful, with the exception of the breakfast workersThere was a large noisy crowd of people drinking alcoholic beverages in the dining area each night who allowed their children to run the halls playing tag throughout the hotel

I asked the woman on duty to please address the situation and she looked at me like I was insaneThe bed was uncomfortable and the pool temperature was way too cool to swim inThis is the worse stay I’ve ever experienced at Hampton Inn hotels

Lisa Portelli

This hotel was very clean and comfortable The soundproofing was very good, I couldn’t hear any other guests My room had two big windows and a couch, it was bright and sunny

The water pressure in the shower was good The hotel agent provided us a bottle of water upon checkin The wifi worked well Good location Walking distance to Walmart which is convenient if you forget anything Lots of restaurants nearby

The staff was very nice but the rooms were old and shabby The sitting room furniture in the room Iwas in should all be replaced, it was not very clean or comfortable The laundry room was old and not very clean

There was a lot of variety at breakfast but only average in taste and presentation I was charged twice for the room and even though they admitted they had charged me twice I had to wait for the person who billed me to get approval before refunding the money In all fairness the credit appeared on my credit card as pending the same day This location is convenient, close to offices and the train but unless you are a business traveller who needs this location I don’t think the amenities or the room are worth the price

Thomas Webber

It’s getting old I am a die hard Hilton fan and a comfort inn is nicer than this place, (plus it’s cheaper) Our room and most of the back of the first floor, by the pool door, smelled strongly like weed

They are doing renovations soon, but it can’t come soon enough As usual, you now have to ask to have your room refreshed, but even that was a bit mediocre If I only paid $89 for the night, I’d understand But $145 is a bit much, for this type of service

Hampus Engstroem

This hotel is extremely dated The rooms look like they were designed by a grandma in the early 2000sThe worst part, and it’s honestly the main reason for the low score, was the absolute stench coming from the shower enclosure

It smelled like really old gym socks, or a wet dog I could barely stand to be in there I tried to take a picture of the smell, but then I remembered that that’s not a thing, however, this bathroom could definitely be used to research this technology in the future, that’s how bad it wasThere is no on-site restaurant which is always a bummer The wifi barely worked, I ended up just using the hot spot on my phone instead The breakfast was decent, and the evening social offered a decent amount of variety to pretty much have an actual dinner during itThis hotel is due for a major upgrade overall

This is a very nice hotel Three staff are friendly and the rooms were very cleanThe location is great too, with a lot of restaurants and things to do nearby and it’s not far from the turnpike

We would definitely stay here again!

Kathy Reid

We booked our stay with a special aarp rate with 2pm late check out We verified late checkout upon booking, upon arrival and again the next day It wasn’t until we received a call at 12:15 on checkout day that unless we left by 12:30 they were going to charge us an additional half day

There was no dealing with them, so we scrambled to finish packing up and were out within the hourwe felt completely harassed and annoyed, ruining our weekend This trip was to see familyand had been great until we were treated like squatters (I get turnaround which is why we verified multiple times -the advertised late check out rate, before planning a leisurely departure) our only other issue is the pool was absolutely freezing and the hot tub was broken and drainedSince I am writing the review, I will add that in as well, but I wouldn’t have Written this for that alone Will I book again?

Great experience!! Food available for purchase at the front desk is KEY when you have small children that do nothing but eat all day (and night) long! The pool was great and clean! The rooms were clean! The complimentary breakfast was AMAZING!! The rooms, for the price were HUGE! And with all of this, were friendly staff members to make it all happen Easy 5 stars

Angelique McAlpine

C’mon Hilton – a little preventive maintenance goes a long way – you’re better than this!Staff was excellent Cheap furniture and fixtures are showing deferred maintenance or just aren’t well built enough, or installed correctly for hotel use Very clean room (except for the caulk issue) and nice atmosphere in the common spaces

Decent value for the area I second the comments about the wavy hallway carpeting

Aimie Thomas

We stayed in room 114 on the first floor The room was clean and the kitchen was very convenient The pool was nice also

The breakfast was surprisingly good with them offering hot foods and a variety of things to accommodate different dietary needs My only complaint is the floor we were on had a lot of “pet rooms” and the entire hallway around our room smelled like cat urine It wasn’t pleasant to come out of your room in the morning to that smell This is the problem with allowing pets like cats in a hotel

Stayed here for one night First of all, men on the front desk were amazing, so nice and polite people, who can keep a conversation Rooms are clean, no smell

The biggest tv I’ve ever seen in the hotel, was able to connect my phone to the TV and watch Netflix Food is available for delivery around, tastes great Amazing experience, loved this hotel!

Samantha Hall

The front desk employees amazing staff but for the housekeepers they need to step it up because the rooms aren’t clean very well Our room had to be changed the first time because of the bathroom being dirty still with stuff on the toilet The second room was better but still had men’s bread hair on the counter still I went n bought cleaner n just cleaned it myself because I have to small kids n with covid thats a big no no

I arrived late so I wasn’t able to meet anyone at reception, but my key and necessary documents were left safely for meIt is difficult to access this incredibly fascinating building if you are lugging your stuff up to the second floor in the rain

But if I had arrived on time this would not have been a problemFor a shockingly affordable price, you will be treated to an incredibly adorable and perfect room with a refrigerator and a microwave, a spa tub!In addition to regular bathroom facilities, and the generally expected television, etcThe decor here is just perfect The bed is comfortable The room is remarkably and pleasantly clean There is a fireplace, but I am making use of the air conditionerBreakfast was a lovely affair Continental is available for those who would prefer coffee and a bagel, but a small, hot, made to order menu is available I was not expecting this! The staff were friendly and did not seem to mind my incessant questions about the history of this beautiful spaceA great night Followed by an excellent morning; well rested and fed and back on the road! I look forward to coming back!

From the time Mike showed us our room my girlfriend had a smile a mile wide We stayed in the Orient Express room It was on the first floor right next to the entrance, very convenient

Breakfast was very good with a nice selection We asked Mike if it was possible to have a love seat so we could sit together in front of the fireplace When we came back from dinner a chair for two was in our room What a perfect place and area to propose to the love of mine We will definitely come back The Globe Inn will be our anniversary destination every year

Tabatha Mohr

Such a great place to stay! Quant, cozy, and personal, just what we desired Love the history and the spacious room We stayed in the Vienna Bridal Suite and it was clean and so nice

Our room has a little sitting space, fireplace, jacuzzi tub, bathroom with shower, queen size bed, and desk areaAs an added bonus, it smells like brownies outside, for real! Apparently there is a chocolate factory close by!
