Lovely hotel, mostly hospitable staff (they do kick you out of the pool/hot tub AT 10PM – they are not playing! LOL), nice breakfast offerings, comfy bed/couch/rolling chair w coffee table & desk in room

Only real complaints are no fan in bathroom & no seating @ smoking areas8/10 recommend – good pricing for how nice it is

Lisa Metcalfe

Friendly, welcoming staff in lovely, quieter, just-off-the-main-road location Pleasant pool/hot tub area with umbrella table seating and soft background music as well There are disposable ear phones, filtered water and sanitizer in the well-equipped fitness center–Love the fish tank in lobby! Dining service was fantastic and the grilled, 4-cheese grilled sandwich with tomato/basil soup was perfect😋

Highly recommend! I travel often and this is one of the best hotels in this price point Many hotels still do not have Netflix and other streaming service capabilities in room tv and this hotel has that and cable The gym is above average for a hotel gym

The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and everyone seems super happy to be working here with lots of positivity Lastly, the place is spotless The hotel lobby is constantly being cleaned and wiped down The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable I have stayed here on 2 separate occasion while traveling for work for a total of 6 nights Definitely will stay again if in the area!

All right pros and cons here they arePROS:1- The room were very spacious2- Clean room no smell no bugs

3- There was a dehumidifier in the room4- Furniture was comfortable including the beds5- The bathroom was very clean no sign of mold or mildew6- It looks like this location had been renovated and the workers that did the work did a very professional job There were no paint splatters, messed up caulking, scratches or anything else in the room that I could see7- There is large size flat screen on the wall8- They provide wall mounted shampoo and body soap in the shower9- Plenty of parking Now you probably won’t be able to get a semi/tractor trailer in here, but I do have a full size pickup truck with a small trailer and had no problems10- easy check in and check out even though it’s done through a video kioskCONS:1- There is no personal interaction with front desk staff It’s all done with a video kiosk in the corner2- to me the price was a little high, but it was still lower than the surrounding hotels in the areaAll in all I would recommend this hotel to anybody that is staying in the area

Pedro Longa

My stay with my family was really good in this hotel The rooms are completely clean and smell good, the lobby looks great, the attention is good, every morning they offer breakfast, something simple but it’s good The hotel is close to everything, 10 minutes from the airport

The only detail I found was that the pool was closed during my entire stay, this is something negative for a hotel in Florida, just for that I give them 4 stars If the pool worked I would give them 5 stars

Jeff O

I’ve stayed here multiple time for 2-4 night stays I’ve stayed at many of the nearby hotels in the same price range and they are terrible This hotel has become my go to for the price

The hotel is…CleanQuietExterior is clean and looks greatRooms are updatedBeds comfortableRooms cleanBathrooms cleanAlways hot waterNever had the breakfast, though smells goodSAFEI’m surprised by the hotel each time I stay there, meaning, it’s greatPlenty of parkingCheckin- some many complain Here’s the story It’s virtual abs EASY The attendant is always friendly, you can hear and see them clearly Takes about 3 minutes and you have the room keyThere is always someone on siteI highly recommend staying here

Feels like an apartment! Very nice as we are trying to find an apartment in Fort Myers, so this makes the transition easier The owners are extremely friendly, and I actually feel safe here Very nice spot in the back where you can even have a bon fire and grill your own food

Beautiful little woodsy area with a nice little pond No bugs in the room, no loud tenants Bed could be a little more comfortable, but other than that; very happy with our experience Thank you guysAww I think the owners read my comment and accommodated us with a firmer mattress! These people are so caring And I shouldn’t have said the matress could be better, I think it’s subjective and based on your preference Thanks again, El Rancho! You make me believe in human decency in a world that hasn’t been the kindest ❤ we love staying here!

Shauna Wright

I made a bad review of this place the other day due to the manager treating me bad so it hurt my feelings This is actually a good place to stay For a while

I’ve apologized but he still sicked a lawyer on me for nothing and kicked us out without valid reason His wife is lovely and as long as you don’t try to have anything explained to you, you’ll have a pleasant stay Once again, I’m sorry for the review It’s been deleted

Kelly Acuna

I highly recommend this motel Everything is spotless, wifi works great!! The owner really restored my faith in humanity After hurricane Irma I was left with NOTHING! I came across a post on Facebook to call this place because he was helping evacuees out

The first few times all the rooms were taken up but he would always lift my spirits by telling me to keep calling because rooms would open up randomly At around 3pm HE CALLED ME 🙂 to give me great news that he had a room ready!!This man is really God sentBEST MOTEL EVER TO STAY!Ps they also have a really cute pond, great for relaxation

Hotel was very clean and had a fresh appearance The staff was super helpful and kind The rooms were clean and bright, with plenty of plugs to charge your electronics

They had a computer and a printer on site that you could use for free, which came in handy when needing to print travel documents The room had black out curtains which really did black out the entire room, and it was well insulated as your couldn’t hear the planes flying in or noise from the hall We didn’t need to use the airport shuttle but it was offered to us which was nice I would gladly stay here again

Tawnya G

Staff is nice here The breakfast is very good as well Plenty of parking

The pool is very nice and clean They do have a little “market” which is nice if you want a soda or snacks The only negative thing is that the rooms take FOREVER for them to clean I had to ask at 3 pm of our room was going to get clean linens Then they called to have someone take care of it Next day, still at 2:30…our room was not done We went up to lay down for a nap with the kids and saw the same lady in the same room…an hour later Not sure why it takes so long but that an inconvenience for people staying for multiple days to not have their rooms done until after 3pm… Hubby is staying longer for work I needed to go back and get some rest before a long drive back home I couldn’t do that because it took FOREVER for anyone to do the room again I ended up having to ask again to have the room done 🤬 Yesterday the lady at the desk was nice about it and apologized The lady at the front desk today was not friendly and had an attitude about me asking at (now) 3pm about our room and clean linens, etc…FUNALLY came up to the room after we saw the lady who was to be taking care of our room leaving for the day I guess leaving for the day was more important then doing her job and changing out the linens See attached

Monique le

I would have preferred to have some sort of breakfast available til 11am They shut everything but coffee down at 9am weekdays and 10am weekends I understand shutting the hot breakfast down but some sort of continental breakfast for those on a different sleep schedule would be nice (since they don’t allow you to take breakfast food to your room)

Since it is included in the room price it would be nice to be able to partake in it somehow

Ann S

My mother was staying there overnight so that I could drive up and we could leave for the airport together I was amazed how nice the hotel was, and particularly made hospitable by the presence of Niekie! She was doing everything Running the desk, setting up breakfast

And, she drove us to the airport! She was absolutely wonderful And I am so sorry that this review is a month late as I was traveling She is certainly a valuable employee in this period of time where help is hard to get My mother loved the bed and said she slept so well Thank you so much!

Elaine Gorham

Price was $243 per night, not $87! It was clean and quiet with pleasant staff but just a room, not a suite Breakfast was awful

I could only stomach coffee and my husband, who eats most things, only had an orange because all was so disgusting It was convenient to cracker barrel and airport but nothing else was walking distance, no convenience store, papers, etc All in all, except for nice staff and clean, I would not recommend except when needed airport

Nykky L

Front desk staff is super friendly Our room was clean with plenty of towels I loved that the room had a high ceiling with a ceiling fan

We went to the indoor pool There were plenty of towels to dry off with and we had a great time playing in it It is right behind a cracker barrel and another little bistro pub place So there is restaurants in walking distance if you choose There is a gym but it is small and very limited on equipment Breakfast was decent though the eggs had alot of water in themand the sausage was a weird soggy gray color Overall though it was a great experience

Randall Suvanto

Very nice staff, room was clean, ample parking, and quiet About a 20 min drive to the beach (with mild traffic) which isn’t too bad Breakfast in the mornings were standard – self serve waffle, yogurt, eggs, sausage, muffins, stuff like that

We were trying to save a little bit of money by staying at a place away from the beach but the cost of parking and gas (especially now) makes up for it The hotel itself was very nice for the price

Star Lipe

The price was reasonable, nice room, pool, small workout room, and hot breakfast in the morning I was placed in a room that someone had previously smoked in at first (all rooms are non smoking, they just didn’t follow the rules) When I brought the smell up to the lady at the front desk she met me upstairs with keys for a new room immediately with no issue

F T

Stayed at the BW for 3 nights the room was nice the breakfast was nice there are a couple of things that I need to point out the bathroom is small just the tub/shower and toilet in the private bathroom which is a little different to me the sink is right outside the bathroom I also noticed that the coffee area that there was no seats The desk area had a seat and there was a sofa and a small living room seat

The thing that surprised me was that there were ants in the room, the crazy ants when I woke the up after the first day I noticed them I got some ant baits and after seeing them the whole day the next day they were gone and didn’t see them for the rest of my visit Also I want to say that the staff here are fantastic they go above and beyond to help Overall the stay was pleasant not overly noisy for a weekend would stay again The pool was also nice and the view was fare

Great place to stay Rooms clean, staff very friendly The breakfast is great as it changes up daily

We didn’t use the pool so I can’t say as to how that was but it looked well kept and didn’t ever seem too crowded The only thing that I would say would be a negative would be coffee lol, as a big coffee drinker the coffee they provide you to make in room is not very good but the coffee offered in lobby is great so stick to that if you drink coffee regularly

Michael C

Great location, within walking or short driving distance to places to eat, drink and shop Right next to I-75 Also next to a Hilton Garden Inn (👎🏽)

Front service desk was really good The manager reception at 5:30 was awesome, free snacks, beer and wine until 7 The room was huge with it own kitchenette The TV was a little old and outdated Free breakfast with a smile in the morning I previously stayed at the Garden Inn next door Avoid that one and stay at this Homewood instead I would definitely stay here again

We are having a house built and it is taking way longer than we expected That being said we have been at this hotel for quite some time The staff is exceptional! We have had such a pleasant experience (we are still here)

The hotel is clean, guests are friendly The front desk staff and manager have gone above and beyond to make us comfortable Love Ana, Jessica, Margarita all have been great In this crazy time where it is difficult to keep a full staff this hotel hasn’t missed a beat The kitchen staff is friendly (all the staff is friendly!), and the food is always good! Stay here you won’t be disappointed!

Harlie Jackson

We stayed here before heading to our family vacation and had a great experience The 2 ladies that work at the front desk are so kind and positive They know what they’re doing and act like they want to be here

Our room was very clean and updated The lobby has lots of space and a great work space after checking out We didn’t love the breakfast, but you don’t stay at a hotel for the complimentary breakfast It’s located next to a bunch of places, we didn’t have a rental car and didn’t want to pay for an Uber so we walked the 15 minutes to go where needed We definitely have this place on our list to come back to in the future

Silas Umah

This hotel blew me away The rooms are not only spacious but extremely neat, organized and well kempt The hotel shuttle is very prompt, what an ecstatic feeling not to wait after a long flight

Hotel is close to the airport The customer service is professional and very knowledgeable This hotel is very generous in giving a sophisticated complimentary breakfast Amenities included are gym, outdoor pool to enjoy the radiant of the sun, restaurant, stove, microwave in your room etc It is like a home away from home I can’t think of anything to complain about Please give this a try if you are in the area Very highly recommended

Perfect place to stay Friendly staff, super clean rooms, facilities were great, and the pool was amazing We had reservations at another hotel in Ft

We recently attended a Dance convention at a property by the River in downtown Fort Myers and reserved a block of rooms at Home 2 Suites The location was excellent, just 10 minutes away and in a safe central location The rooms were super spacious, clean and comfortable

They have a renovation going on, which makes things a little difficult and I understand that The hotel was hardly occupied and I was placed on the 3rd floor, right next to the construction The elevator stopped going to the 3rd floor during my stay

It took 3 different trips down the stairs throughout the day and telling the front desk before finally running into a maintenance person and telling him before it was even addressed Foresight in not sticking a guest right next to construction, and if your forced to offer some type of concessions to balance the situation The rooms are very nice Just a bad experience this time around

It was very very clean The kitchen had enough stuff in it to make it easy to cook And the people were nice I was not there to go to the beach so the location did not bother me The only problem was that the cable was out the second to last night I was looking forward to watching something and it kept freezing and then just giving me an error messageI would like to stay again in late April but the good deal I had is not posted online

Part of the Hilton family of hotels Nice Hotel as far as furnishings, beds etc Not the cleanest of hotels

At least, not as clean and detailed as their sister hotel chain the Hampton Inn My wife said the bath tub wasn’t bath worthy In other words, not clean enough Dirt in the corners Carpet not vacuumed well I know A little nit picky but cleaning could be better Only one out of all the staff I saw was wearing a mask and he was the one fixing the omelettes So if that bothers you, avoid this hotel Really good breakfast with a big variety of choices Custom made omelettes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, cereal, muffins, bread, pancakes, coffee and watered down juice Very friendly staff despite being maskless Comfortable beds and nice room furnishings which included a small fridge and microwave Working flat screen in the bedroom and front room Large bathroom with no exhaust fan Would I stay in another Embassy Suites, yes This one is not really close to any of the typical attractions of southwest Florida like the beach

Spike Hopkins

We always go to embassy suites and we were accustomed to their great rooms and service We noticed over the pandemic the service went down and the free breakfast and free managers drink special went away But it’s great to see that this Embassy Suite is back running 100%

The managers drink special was very nice and they even have IPAs on draft The breakfast was the best Embassy Suites breakfast we’ve ever hadThey offered eggs scrambled or made to order by a chef Fresh fruit, coffee and juices They have a variety of pancakes waffles bacon ham and corned beef hash The meats rotate daily as to which one will be featuredThey do not offer daily maid service unless it’s requested But that’s okay due to the current situation in the hotel industry If you need any supplies the front desk has them on hand to giveThe staff was incredibly nice in all areas of the hotelThe Embassy suites has a incredibly large swimming pool with enough lounge chairs for the entire hotel occupants to sit They also have a hot tubOverall this is probably in the top three of the best Embassy suites we’ve ever been in

Hoyt Phillips

Had a nice stay here recently The staff was very friendly and helpful The pool area is nice with a separate hot tub and a large covered area

The rooms are what you’d expect The hotel is dated but it’s clean The breakfast and evening drinks and light snacks were nice The one negative was low shower pressure We were on the 2nd floor and I was surprised at how low it was Overall a good stay and the location is very convenient to 75

Room was extremely clean Bed was one of the most comfortable I slept on Pillows were great

Smaller hotel and quiet Not a frills and fancy place Plenty of places to eat close by Great for an overnight stay to continue our trip Lift (kind of like an open elevator) was not working Only drawback if you are on 2nd floor you have to walk up and down stairs and carry your belongings

The staff was amazing! The entire hotel and the room was very clean Chavante (I apologize to her if I did not spell it right haha) was wonderful and very helpful when I checked in And the morning staff were very polite and helpful as wellIt is an older hotel

And the night I stayed was very loud You could hear people in the other rooms I wish they had an airport shuttle That would have been very helpful for me, especially being that its listed as an airport hotel But I managedAll in all, no real complaints After a long day, it was a good place to rest and lay my head!
