This place is great! The rooms are clean and have a washer and dryer with full kitchen There is an outdoor pool, hot tub and they have the best breakfast of any hotel I have been at!!Bonus!! Also pet friendly and have soft serve, coffee and slushies available all day!!

Sarah Rundlett

The only reason I give them a two is the staff was polite Management and/or corporate set their staff up to fail I made reservations 5 days in advance and confirmed that my guest was going to be able to check in before for me with front desk staff

Front desk staff assured me that my guest would be able to check in, that the front desk staff made a note in the reservation, and that I would just have to present the credit card when I arrived at the hotel My guest was not able to check in prior to be even after offering to put it on her own card Front desk staff did not call me to confirm that afternoon when my guest got there front desk did not attempt to mitigate this whatsoever Upon checking in myself that evening I waited for 45 minutes to get a hotel room because evidently the hotel was overbooked because of some kind of mixup with booking service (Expedia) The front desk staff did not receive support from their manager Front desk staff actually reached out to management multiple times who didn’t answer their phone Upon checking out the following day I still had not been able to speak to the manager about my complaints regarding my guest not being able to check in and having to wait 45 minutes to get a room which I had made a reservation for Front desk manager has still not called me back after leaving my number with request for them to call me when they finally decided to come to work The room was clean and well furnished Staff polite

Ryan and Kelly Thorne

Amazing service at the front desk!We booked on a 3rd party site that had a mix up on our room type The front desk staff gladly made it right and went above and beyond to fixed the mistake made by the 3rd party site We’ve stayed here many times over the last 10 years and it just gets better each visit! The facilities are getting a really nice upgrade, and the amenities are great! This is one of our favorite home-away-from-home stays!

Will definitely stay here again! Good location for us as we went back and forth to the Kinetic Sports Complex for a basketball tourney The front desk staff were super nice and accommodating The room was clean, smelled good, beds and pillows were so comfortable! Breakfast was adequate with fresh waffles, biscuits & gravy, fruit and other items

Ginny Thate

This hotel is good option if you’re looking for somewhere to sleep for one or two nights, wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for anything longer that The hotel is just dated You can tell the carpet hasn’t been replaced in years (probably since it was built), it felt and looked dirty so we kept our shoes on the entire time

There were several places in the bathroom where grout was missing from in between the tile We didn’t use the pool or the breakfast so can’t comment on those amenities

Sarah Keller

In the reviews it seemed people are really hard on this hotel We had a suite and for graduation weekend I felt like the rate was pretty reasonable The room and sheets were very clean and decent beds

It isn’t fancy but that’s ok I was glad to have a large room and an affordable hotel I was also grateful for complimentary breakfast as buying breakfast for myself and 2 young adult kids can get pricey Staff was nice and friendly

There’s a bed, TV, toilet, and shower I know, I should be impressed and happy but sadly my stay here was not greatTo start, they had accent pillows on the bed

Normally this would be a great addition but that’s ALL that they had We didn’t have normal bed pillows, just 14×14 square pillows When I moved one, a centipede fell out and started crawling around on the bedThe saving grace for this stay was that we got in around 1am and left around 7am This hotel wasn’t horrible, but it was below average

Ray Hubbard

I’m giving this one stars only because I have to I have stayed at 2 Comfort Inn & Suites, both times amazing gems, friendly, accommodating & always clean However this is not one of those

We are on a cross country move and called ahead to reserve a room like time past, only to be told the internet was down and she couldn’t make a reservation, okay weird but whatever So I verified at the end of the conversation, once I purchase online, show up with the confirmation number and that will be fineUpon arrival we walk in and say we had called earlier, she says she remembers, oh that was you Yes here is our names, reward program number, confirmation numberSays she doesn’t have that in her system This lady who looks like she was just too lazy to make the reservation, let alone call the main number to see how to proceedLong story short – I ended up calling the comfort in 1-800 number and they told me that she could have verified that easily on my email with the confirmation number by calling the 1-800 numberThe person on the phone line proceeded to tell me that I need to go tell her to verify my email instead them telling her directlyThis is when it gets weird she then says oh I can check you in Like why couldn’t you just check me in and verify my confirmation number earlier I had already paid for the roomThis person on the weekday night shift get rid of her she is killing your businessWorst customer service ever!

Kyle Fields

Very friendly front desk workers Rooms were really clean and nice Everything well functioning

My dog was very happy and we enjoyed the room Disappointed pool wasn’t open, but saw the reviews saying soOne thing I’m not a fan of is the raggedy looking employees sitting in the main room as soon as you walk in There was a huge group just sitting there and when they saw my dog, they started talking about what I wrote on the reservation like I wasn’t there Had to bite my tongue before I said something to the female with the bandana

The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly, they accommodated my room request to be close to the elevator and next to each other Breakfast was top notch with many choices The family enjoyed the option of the swimming pool

We did not take advantage of this but the concept of having games available to play while staying at the hotel is a great option I have stayed at this Hampton Inn several times and it never disappoints We will gladly stay here again

Colette Erck

This is a very nice hotel and we got a good price too It’s very easy to find and secluded parking lot The place feels very safe

The breakfast is free and great tasting You can check out board games to play in lobby if you are board The rooms are very modern and updated Great place to stay I would definitely recommend to anyone going to Lincoln, NE

Kyle at the front desk earned this 5 star rating for this Hampton Inn! He went above and beyond to help me with a technical issue regarding my digital key The entire staff was friendly, my room was one of the cleanest I’ve seen Overall great experience

Stayed for 3 nights in June 2022, for work Typical Holiday Inn, room was spacious and clean, bathroom was clean with Bath & Body Works products (it’s the little things) It is also in a very safe, nice area of town

A lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance Pool was not operational which was a bummer The on-site restaurant also had some limited hours No free breakfast, either

Pearl White

Not a bad Holiday Inn Not the best one I have stayed at though There is parking for large vehicles, but it’s a tight entrance and so hard to get to the parking Semi’s are out of the question

The staff is very welcoming and helpful The room is nice There was damage to the bottom of the bathroom door Which was unsightly The rest was what was expected Nothing more

Nina Rangel-Perez

I agree with those who have talked about the cleanliness of this hotel The room had a stench and the carpet was not one that you wanted to walk on barefoot When staying somewhere else, you want to feel comfortable

Definitely wasn’t comfortable For the price of this stay per night, we expected more The hotel was not exceptional for the going rate We did not complain nor plan to complain until we were forced to stay or pay for another night We paid $220 per night and weren’t able to check out the last night as our team didn’t need to stay an additional night The weekend before we stayed at a hotel in the same situation and were able to check out by checkout time without being charged They wouldn’t let us check out They made us pay for another night and wouldn’t budge I will no longer support IHG hotels especially in this region

I would not recommend staying at this hotel The bathroom was not clean upon check-in Housekeeping only tidied up during a 5-day visit one time

There was no sanitizer in the stations, and the hotel reeked of cigarette smoke The business center computer was signed out, and no one was at the desk to assist I was told a manager would contact me regarding the cleanliness of the room and have yet to be contacted It’s been almost 2 weeks I am new to the IHG family, but if this is the norm, I’ll stick with Marriott

Victoria Laux

Incorrect room, terrible breakfastWe booked a “2 QUEEN BEDS 2 BEDROOM SUITE”, and were given a studio with 2 queen beds 4 feet apart, no separate bedrooms We had already hauled all our stuff up after driving all day and had a child who needed to get to the bathroom, so we didn’t try to fix that after arriving for our one night stayThere wasn’t anyone at the front desk to talk to in the morning the 4 times we checked between 8 and 9:30, when we needed to head out on the road again

At 8am, breakfast had no hot items (no eggs, no sausage or bacon, no biscuits), no milk, no pancakes (machine was broken), and no orange juice A few milk cartons were finally set out 15 minutes later – mostly chocolate, when everyone was stuck with cereal or cinnamon rolls for breakfast

I love this hotel It’s extremely clean, employees are exceptional, location is good The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because I wanted room service this morning and it’s unavailable and the a/c works but it’s not 65 degrees in here as the thermostat says more like 73

It’s quiet, comfy beds, good coffee in room It gets a 47 in my book I will be back and make it a regular stop on my trips back East

The Bad: It used to feel so special staying at this hotel Unfortunately, it is in desperate need of updates and a deep clean The wallpaper was peeling off the walls, there was rust around the tub, the floor was stained with some kind of substance, there was garbage under our sofa (visible when walking in the room), and it was generally just not clean

It was also loud, but that was from children and street noise, so I don’t fault the hotel for thatThe Good: The staff was wonderful and very welcoming! Everyone we met was so kind and we appreciated thatBreakfast was absolutely fantastic! Kudos to the chefs for my delicious made to order French toast and bacon! This property has potential to be great again I really hope they make all of the necessary updates to make it as good as it used to be

Katy Ramsey

Highly impressed with this hotel this week We picked this hotel to host a business meeting because they are the only Hilton hotel in town that responded to me when I asked about renting a boardroom The embassy would’ve been my first choice anyway but I appreciate the fact that Dana was very easy to work with and helped me coordinate everything to set up my meeting

She was quick to respond and happy to answer all my questions Add in all the usual Embassy things like 2 room suites, cook to order breakfast, evening reception with free drinks and snacks, indoor poor and on-site restaurant On top of all of this, we actually were here during a tornado and the hotel‘s response to the very scary sirens going off was to clearly communicate with the overhead speaker, quickly set us up in a boardroom where they brought us and waters and snacks and kept us comfortable while we rode out the wild weather Everyone was very calm and handled this perfectly! Big props to the staff at this hotel for making our stay all around excellent!

We booked last minute as we were driving east on I-80 and the rooms were available and priced for value Our room was clean, but the shades were broken The check in guy on the night shift was fast and somewhat helpful; the person working the breakfast area was not friendly and seemed only begrudgingly helpful

Breakfast was good for this tier of roadside hotel Contrary to the old ads, we did not wake up smarter Sigh

Rin Mintaka

We just needed a quick overnight stop for a concert we went to The beds were super comfy and I slept like a log (although that might’ve been post-concert exhaustion) I’m not a huge fan of hotels that have the interconnected doors, but we didn’t have a problem

The hotel is in a quiet area and we stayed up on the 3rd floor and there wasn’t a peep in the night Good prices for the area for an actual hotel Would stay here again if we needed to

Pawz Fur Groomin’

Sign is hard to see from the road Staff is friendly but did not greet as I walked into the bldg Hand towel had a stain that looked like make up or old blood

Desk has a huge hole in the middle Shower head is scaled up Had small trash on the floor Elevator has cleaning spray left on walls without being wiped There were ants or some other type of bug on the floor in the dining area for breakfast The smell of the cleaning products is rather harsh

Long term stay is available here and comfortable, house keeping doesn’t wake you up either They are pet friendly and serve breakfast (eggs/bagels/sausage/yogurt/danishes/waffle bar/ juice coffee and milk) and keep it we’ll stocked This is the best hotel I have been at in quite a while

They also have a 4 ft deep pool and workout room, small but efficient Staff is super awesome here too 🙂 and rooms are quiet and peaceful

Dustin Dade

A bit odd to get into the parking lot, but the hotel was nice, the front desk attendants were friendly and the room was clean The breakfast area is a bit small when the hotel is full so expect a line and difficulty sitting in the lobby if you are a late riser There are a couple restaurants in the same parking lot so easy access to a quick dinner

A standard hotel that checks all of the boxes you need in a hotel Clean, friendly, accessible

ghoztpurple

Staff was nice The room was Not clean, it was Not vaccumed We found Cheese, noodles and nuts on the floor from the previous occupants

We got there late and we we’re tired AF so we didn’t bother calling anyone We had an early exit the next day so we just wanted to sleep We checked beds, seemed like the sheets were changed It was ok

I had a great time at this hotel The staff was helpful and friendly My room was nice and clean

Good ac as well The food was great and at reasonable price I felt welcomed I also enjoyed the art! I was so glad when I was able to get my car parked for me from the valet The guy who parked my car was very kind and respectful I believe his name was Andy, I was pleased with his performance and attitude I had no worries about my car Overall it was a great experience and I recommend this hotel highly!

Conveniently located, reasonably priced in the Haymarket entertainment district of Lincoln Easy walk to all kinds of restaurants Felt welcomed in June by staff wearing T-shirts with the hotel name in rainbow letters plus rainbow balloons and decorations

Coffee amalgams all day, but with 105 degree temps, we washed they had made cold drinks absolutely, too Great view from our to floor room

Courtney H

I booked a hotel room here a couple months back for a stay in September and was informed yesterday that we would not be able to check in until 7:00 pm due to a large group checking out late at 4:00 pm This changed our original plans so I asked if there would be any discount applied due to the inconvenience They told me they were sorry to inform me that they do not offer discounts for late check ins

Quite interesting since the late check in was due to other customer’s plans I decided $265 for one night when we couldn’t check in until 7:00 pm (not by our choice) wasn’t worth it so canceled the room and will find somewhere else to stay How disappointing!

The refrigerator was non-functional when we entered the room, and nothing would get it to work, despite adjusting temp control, turning off/on, unplugging & replugging in When I brought the matter up to the front desk for a solution, they just said, “Oh yeah The refrigerators don’t work too well

” Other than that, the shower was hot, beds were comf, AC worked great Just wish we hadn’t had to throw out the food we’d brought in, as we’d selected this lodging on the basis of its having a refrigerator

This place has promise if you realize that it is under new ownership and they are trying to renovate while also providing good service Spoke with the woman who is helping the owner and is seeking feedback The room was clean and comfortable

It is clear they are transitioning from an old-fashioned older owner and trying to come up with ideas for a new way to host an older space I actually liked that it had the AirBNB feel (no keys, just communication by text of how to get into the room), and breakfast was out for us without waking us up This place has promise and hopefully their upcoming ideas will bring more cozy stays for people

What a complicated stay We called when we were 2 hours away, saying we would be there in 2 hours My wife had requested the room with the king bed

We get there at 9 pm, no one greets us, we call all the phone numbers listed and posted with no response We continue to look around, leave voicemails etc when finally the housekeeper calls us back She had to leave to care for her son, and the room we were to stay in was not clean She offered another room, with a queen bed instead Ok Not an ideal start, but things happen We noticed bugs in various spots in the room, which bothered my wife who is very particular about cleanliness I slept on the floor while my wife and daughter slept in the bed The room was cozy with a nice bathroom and small gas heater In the morning when I opened the coffeemaker to make a pot, the old moldy grounds were still in it Uhoh The owner, an older gentleman made the breakfast which was FANTASTIC Very good We got to talking, and he told the whole story of the place, owned it for 43 years, and now has to sell it due to policies put in place by our wonderful government My wife and I felt terrible for him and the housekeeper I am giving it 5 stars as I believe they did the best they could with what they had The place is cute, cozy, and the breakfast was great It is sad that it has to be sold, because I can see the absolute charm of it A very mixed bag of feelings, but overall an experience we are glad we had

The bed was comfortable and some of the decor was nice Beyond that it was our worst B&B experience Very old building with interesting history but wiffs of musty smells as you came in and while walking around

Otherwise the decor was bedizened Very little design, just a bunch of pictures, paintings, new and old all overI’ve never seen so many bugs in any room Little tiny bugs I couldn’t identify all over the counter where the coffee pot satOur room wasn’t yet clean when we arrived about an hour and a half past check in Not a big problem if that had been the only oneBreakfast was planned by the lady who met us for 8:30 We were ready and waiting a bit before that time, then sat and waited and waited without seeing anyone We texted the lady who we expected was serving us breakfast with no response Finally, we texted the man we made the reservations with Still no response So after almost an hour we decided to go find breakfast elsewhere We finally ran into a man who told us where the owner was The owner came out and said he was just getting us our breakfast We left instead and later we’re glad we didn’t eat anything from his kitchen as my husband got a look at his living quarters which was filthy, dirty dishes everywhereThe windows were so dirty and covered outside with webs and dead bugs There was no good parking areaWe never felt welcome or even comfortable staying thereMakes me shutter

The staff here is EXCELLENT The hotel itself is not the newest or fanciest, but it is clean and nice The beds were comfy

The elevator was a bit small and kind of scary (that could just be my fear of dying in one) but the stairs were great! The pool area and fitness room were adequate I found breakfast to be wonderful! Biscuits were mouth-watering, gravy was tasty and the coffee was strong Our tv did not work and the very nice front desk guy tried several times to fix it It didn’t get fixed but it didn’t end up affecting our stay like we originally thought it would as the walls were very thin The location was GREAT!! Food and shopping close by Would definitely stay here again

No idea where Google got the idea this place is a 3-star hotel If you’re used to staying in hotels from the $70-90 range this place is probably just about fine for you; I’m accustomed to a range about $50 above that so it’s definitely going to inform this review The hotel as a whole is quite dated and worn down

Our room was musty, the AC wasn’t strong enough to cool the whole room, and the bathroom smelled pretty strongly of chlorine (presumably from the pool despite being on the third floor) Part of the carpet outside our bathroom was inexplicably damp and a little sticky Walls are thin so you’ll hear everything that goes on in the hallway and probably the rooms around you On the upside it was clean enough, not sparkling but acceptable, and there were no bugs Breakfast was good and we did get a good deal on the room ($84) from the friendly folks at the front counter It’s a pretty basic room that functioned to sleep in but I wouldn’t go back

Bed was hard, carpet felt gross, couch was scratchy Tv could’ve been better You can hear alot of noise from other rooms and kids in hallways

Breakfast wasn’t very good for what little they had which wasn’t much Pastries looked terrible for what little they had And the light comes on in the bathroom every time you open the door, which is very annoying, especially at night!

My family and I stayed here So when we got to the hotel room we was in the carpet was wet We went to the desk to let them know

We got moved to another room no questions asked The day off check out, I slipped and hurt my knee at the front desk because of water on the floor that was from my son’s swim suit The front desk worker jumped right to action to help me It was so worth it And I well refer any and all of my friends to this Hotel Their management was the most understanding people that I know!!!! Thank you for the amazing time

I would never stay here again It has good reviews but I don’t see how There’s was old food in our fridge when we opened it

There were only about 4 tissues in the Kleenex box One partial roll of toilet paper That was the first hour At about 915pm the trains started rolling by! Either spend another $20 for a better room or save $40 and get a 2 star room This place is a one star

Stayed here 3 days with my grandchildren , their parents were packing to move so we decided to get the kids away lol They Loved the pool! The rooms were spacious and everyone was very friendly I was worried about pets be allowed and being noisy but it was very quiet and we slept great in their comfortable beds

I would of given this hotel 5 stars but was not impressed with their breakfast, the sausage had a weird taste and the omelets had peppers in itwas the same thing every day I would definitely stay here again, just go somewhere else for breakfast 🏊‍♀️ 🛌 🐕 🐈 👍🧳

There were spider webs and insects in the stairwell! I found bugs in my room I moved the dresser to get to an outlet and there was a used, dirty mask and it was just dirty The carpet was stained and the bathtub was stained as well

Also, the breakfast was not great It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either I will say that staff is very kind and helpful They are truly a great group of people! But overall, I wouldn’t stay again

Just checked my family into two king rooms Based on some of the reviews inspected both rooms before accepting them The rooms were clean, the bed linens fresh, the TVs worked fine

Folks at the front desk were very helpful Brand new hotel? No, but well kept from what I could see Can’t speak to breakfast, but will update on that later

Stopped on our cross country trip 2 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog My number 1 priority is safety and my number 2 is cleanliness

I can say this hotel looks brand new Its back in a little area that I felt safe letting the dog out at night The rooms were clean The breakfast was nice and the employees were pleasant! Would stay again if ever driving through Lincoln And now I think I’m a Best Western fan for our next trip next month!
