This hotel is among the best I’ve ever stayed in! As soon as I walked in the large room I knew I made a good choice to stay there The room had some fantastic lighting where you could see everything in the room even in the middle of the night, and it had very high ceilings (King Suite room) that made it feel even bigger The breakfast was very good, with pretty much everything you would look for in a nice hotel

The staff was always very courteous and on the ball with everything that was going on around the hotel It was a great stay and I’m a little sad I had to leave

The room itself was perfectly cromulent The peeps working were nice and professional The main gripe here is that the TV was blaring when we walked in

And then, the neighboring room’s TV was blaring (to the point we thought there was maybe a live band outside or something) The people in that room didn’t jack up the volume, either I don’t think I’ve ever been in a hotel before where the TVs turn on when you check in, and especially not at such a high volume That was annoying Otherwise, the stay was fine

I stayed here since there were a lot of rooms reserved for a weekend wedding Check in was at 3PM and one of our rooms wasn’t ready until 3:40PM We had been trying to get early checking since 2PM, so I have no idea why it took 40 minutes beyond check in time

If that had been our only room, we would’ve only had 20 minutes to get readyIn one of the rooms the toilet had and extremely weak flush, and you had to hold the handle down for a long time just to get it to do anythingFor the price of the room, and the fact that it’s a Hilton, you’d think breakfast would be included, but no, it was not You could pay $8 or $15 a person depending on what you wanted, and I don’t think I’ve ever been to a hotel breakfast that was worth $8, let alone $15 I could go to a Holiday Inn for $20 less a night, and get a good, included breakfastThe only reason I didn’t give this a 1 star is because the hotel staff were all great Between dealing with all the people due to multiple weddings that day, and dealing with all the drunk people at 1AM, they did a great job

It kept cutting the call off saying international calls were not allowed even though I phoned from Cleveland After trying three times, I ended having to speak to an agent from the Philippines with a thick accent that I had trouble understanding and then it took her about 20 minutes to add one night When she gave me a total it was $645 for the two nights Whaaaaat? You’ve gotta be kidding me Yep That’s not the price I booked at So I had to cancel the reservation and start all over again So I’m already not happy at this point I booked online but never on a travel siteSo the room is decent and it has all the amenities, is right off M14 and quiet and comfortable Free breakfast The floors were sticky in the bathroom and the bed looked like a 3rd grader made it Not bad but not great It’s nicely decorated and has plenty of features

Both our rooms stunk One was missing a toilet paper holder The lighting is dismal and inadequate; 2 lights didn’t even work

The hallways were sweaty HOT, like they can’t afford AC, and in the rooms the units seemed to be restricted The tub drain was plugged, so we stood in deep, cloudy water while we showered Swimming pool looked fine, but was CLOSED Not cool Hilton should offer a discount when a pool is advertised but unavailable No microwave oven for use anywhere What is the point of having a clock in your room when the time is wrong, and it can’t be corrected? We had to ask for towels and toilet paper at the front desk The TP was unwrapped = unsanitary It’s like they bought an economy pack and handed TP rolls out, one at a time Icky and humiliating On the bright side, they had a diligent and polite breakfast bar attendant! Breakfast was very good, and the space was tidy and well-managed Too bad she’s not the hotel manager!

My daughter originally booked us an airbnb but I told her to find a place with an indoor pool so that the grandbabies could swim with us Once we checked in we were told that the pool is out of service Had to go down stairs to get clean towels once we requested new towels trash was never picked up

And only one roll of toilet paper had to find house keeping once we ran out It is convenient to my daughter but unfortunately the reason we chose this was becuase of the pool and for the whole 5 days no pool But now the breakfast was good

I am more than disappointed that the courtyard chose to remove the hot tub from this location We live close by and would use this hotel specifically for having a pool and hot tub where the whole family was accommodated As a family we could enjoy time together, the kids could be in the pool and the parents in the hot tub

It is clean and Maintained well, another reason we chose this hotel I just do not understand why you removed it for seating There was plenty of seating all around and tables before You may not have food or drinks in the pool area so added seating among many other reasons makes no sense It’s no longer full family friendly The price of rooms has gone up while amenities are taken away Very disappointing I also would look up courtyards when I chose to travel as well This makes me think to look else where while booking and it’s such a bummer I was a fan of this hotel I would also recommend updating your website as it is still advertised as having a hot tub

Pool was COLD I was sad that they don’t offer free breakfast or even lobby coffee Oh and they cut off the room keys a half hour before checkout making a trip to the desk for reactivating necessary

This place was exceptional Not only was the staff very VERY friendly, the hotel itself was so clean you’d think it was brand new There is beautiful and interesting art everywhere from the halls to the rooms The pool water was warm, the breakfast was above average which was completely fine and I still can’t believe I paid under $200 for a Friday night here Even the showers have full bottles of shampoo instead of the tiny toiletries I will absolutely come again It was just such a great experience that I have to share! Quiet place for the most part Staff is absolutely in need of hospitality training especially Aaron and Katy However the manager Kim fixed the issue

Housekeeping is per your request only However that was not expressed to me at check in with Katy on Thursday because she was too busy on her cellphone and responded to my presence to check in as if I were being an inconvenience Saturday afternoon around 3 when I returned I found the room still dirty and called the desk to Aaron who responded to my request with “We don’t clean every day you have to request if I don’t have anyone to send to clean it anyway You can come get whatever you need” I go upstairs not five minutes later and see the girls are still on the floor So I asked one of them to call the housekeeping manager and have her call me She appeared at my door within five minutes She was courteous and kind and after explaining the situation with not servicing the rooms every day unless it’s by request, was more than willing to service the room even if she had to do it herself Kim is a keeper The housekeeping staff is great Front desk……please train them

We stayed here over the weekend We did encounter some issues upon arrival and during our first night stay However, I gave them four stars because their manager was really understanding, welcoming, and made it right

Check in was delayed over an hour, we were told house keeping was behind and our room wasn’t ready, ok, no problem However, things in our room were really dusty and we found several Linens in our room had large stains on them Talked to the manager and politely explained what we were experiencing and showed him some photos of the items He was very kind to us and apologized for the inconvenience He sent the head of housekeeping up to clean the room They did a good job They changed out all the Linens and dusted He offered a discount on our first night stay for the inconvenienceAll that aside, we enjoyed the pool, it was bit chilly for an indoor heated pool, but fine overall I LOVED the lighted mirror in the bathroom, it was great for getting ready The shower had good water pressure and the beds were comfy We really liked that the hotel had liquid hand soap in the rooms, and it smelled really good I recommend putting 4 towels and wash cloths in a double bed room though Overall, our stay here was fine

They did not offer room service per our stay but had just about anything you would want or need on site A small drive from downtown Detroit but we’ll Worth it! We will definitely be back! A++ Thank you for a wonderful experience and we look forward to seeing you again soon

Friendly staff The room was very clean and comfortable There were unruly guests next door which was unfortunate but around 12:30 am I called the front desk and they took care of it

The workout facility was nice and the pool was warm The continental breakfast was just OK (food was a bit cold) but it was nice to have the option Good place for a couple night stay

Stay was 3 nights Bed very comfortable Hotel was quiet

Good location for our purpose Check in smooth Blinking vanity light in first room We complained and were moved Second afternoon, on arrival to floor very strong marijuana smell w hallway window open Complained Front desk attendant came up and opened another window Smell continued through night 3rd day asked for housekeeping Clean towels were placed in Bathroom but no trash emptied, no bed linens straighted, no vacuuming done We won’t be staying here again

Positives: It was very clean The breakfast bar was very nice Pool area was impeccably clean and well stocked with towels

Negatives: I wasn’t provided with a “do not disturb” sign The toilet seat was chipped which was painful to sit on My room never got dark enough due to insufficient coverage and thickness of curtains as well as the obnoxious lighting in the hallway which bled into my room through the door The HVAC system came on and off every 2 to 3 minutes, so I had to run the fan setting all through the night I was there 3 days before receiving housekeeping services only because I called to request it I was assured I wouldn’t have to do that Also one day I called for a trash pickup and six hours later, it hadn’t been completed I had to call again, after which time, it was finally completed Another inconvenience was being repeatedly locked out of my room because my keys wouldn’t work

Gave us 2 towels for 6 people so I had to keep going back to ask for more Then kept giving us hand towels instead of washcloths Half of the breakfast items were unavailable The pancake maker worked once in 3 days The only two good things about it was the location and that it was cheap Spend the extra money to stay somewhere else

And the shower is really nice too The downsides were breakfast is only from 630 to 930 am The ice machines are only on every other floor And there are no vending machines And no complimentary continental breakfast

Decided to stay in town for my brother’s funeral instead of having to travel back and forth My room was on the 5th floor, as we all know heat rises right? The A/C worked intermittently and would cut out during the night making it very uncomfortable, I wasn’t there much the 1st night and following day however it should work, bottom line The room had a very weird smell, couldn’t tell if it was musty or what but it wasn’t very pleasant

My son said the pool looked like someone took a deuce in it and smeared it on the walls, I didn’t investigate that one The bathroom light was tricky to figure out, I had to have the switch outside the bathroom on in order for the switch inside the bathroom to work There were staff members that would hang out and smoke right by the entrance doors on the backside of the building right underneath a sign saying the premises were smoke free and they weren’t very hospitable, not even a hello as you approached They could definitely use Gordon Ramsey to come in and update their menu in their restaurant, the coffee was bitter and gross and the menu didn’t offer much, I got up and decided to go to Big Boy for a good breakfast and coffee I appreciated the fact that they offered bereavement rates but I still paid over $300 for 2 nights The beds were comfortable too but that didn’t make up for the A/C issues I would have picked one of the other hotels in the vicinity had I known this hotel wasn’t up to par, I guess the empty parking lot should have spoke for itself

Great location and proximity to downtown Detroit Quick on and off the highway Complimentary breakfast was delicious and there was no shortage of options for all tastes

Workout facility and pool area seem to be well-maintained and clean Rooms were able to accommodate our group and had satisfactory amenities however one recommendation…The room needs better ventilation Windows cannot be cracked and the bathroom fan was not working Overall, I would recommend this location and I plan on staying there in the future

The place exceeded our expectations The rooms are huge, very clean, and the balcony was so nice having, rarely do you get a balcony at a hotel! The staff was incredible, Tea Renee at the front desk was so helpful throughout our stay and so friendly All of the staff was great! The two free drinks a night at the bar are also a plus

We will be staying here again if we come back to the Livonia area! Loved embassy suites!

Great hotel Perfect location Staff was very friendly

Large parking area We were there for a wedding and everything was wonderful We were able to use the shuttles to and from the wedding venue That was extremely nice and helpful Rooms are nice sized We had a king size room and it was plenty big for just 2 of us Water pressure was fantasticOnly downside is no free breakfast, but there is a breakfast buffet you can purchase We just went to a local restaurant Coffee is free and available around the clock We loved our stay

These rooms need updating The furniture is old, carpet needs cleaned, curtains old, our toilet seat had been touched up with paint Our door made the worst noise when opening and closing because it was too tight or swollen

I’m sure we woke everyone up as we left the room each morning No one vacuumed the hallway on main floor because the same sunflower seeds and debris were on the floor I’m shocked with the great reviews The cost of the room wasn’t worth it to me I was given my state rate, after I complained, otherwise I would not have stayed The staff were very friendly though, I definitely agree to that I would never stay here again

From the outside one would think that this is an old apartment complex of two buildings Don’t let that fool you Once inside, it was clean modern hotel with pleasant staff

The room was a small but very efficiently laid out suite complete with a full kitchen I would definitely stay here again It was a great value The only negative is that the sign from Fox Drive is very small and you have to be looking for it

We unexpectedly had our 94 year old mother in law with us with a sprained ankle Although our room 108 was marked “handicapped” there was only a bathtub with one grab bar We were told only one room had a walk in shower but it was occupied during our 4 night stay On our second morning Chastity in housekeeping overheard our dilemma Apparently that room was vacated and being cleaned She went to the acting manager and assisted us with getting this room It made our stay safer for mom and us! Shoutout to Chastity for her consideration and friendliness! Front desk and management were also friendly and responded to all our requests!

The hotel was clean and in good condition The staff was friendly and helpful The location was okay, but make sure you have a vehicle to get around

However, the wifi was not working the entire time I was there (1 night) Had to call tech support myself, which was unable to help at all Also, found a used cotton swab behind the door in the bathroom, which was a turn off The hot breakfast was weak and consisted of store bought breakfast sandwiches, boiled potatoes (cubed), bagels, yogurt and some applesOverall, it was an okay stay but I wouldn’t make any effort to stay here again
