This place was good for a one night stay People are friendly, location was good, a little noisy with traffic and trains nearby, there’s a good bagel place on the corner There’s an Acme within 5-10 minutes for groceries

It was hard to get in touch with anyone at the front desk When we needed anything we had to go down to get it, which isn’t too big of a deal because of COVID protocolsThe rooms were clean, you could tell this place has a history to it with how the rooms and buildings are shaped The pool was a hit with the kids, wish it was open a little later The hallways kind of smelled weird The shower was a little weird because one shower head was sticking a little too far out of the ceiling and the other shower head wouldn’t stay put in its holder so we had to hang it onto a handleParking became a little difficult because they had a church in session on site and another conference going on

Erdal Duman

Hi I booked this hotel for my kids to enjoy the pool I have 2 boys

They were ready with their swimming suits thinking that they will enjoy with their parents However, it was a disappointment when we learned from the front desk that the city didn’t approve the pool’s opening This is not our fault and definitely not our kids They deserve the best I contacted the third party where I booked the hotel through that they wanted to talk to the manager about canceling The manager wasn’t here and the front desk associate informed that they will be back on Monday as I asked the third party to cancel but they said they have to talk to the manger

Safe, convenient, clean, new hotelStayed here overnight last minute after hitting inclement weather while moving to NY Location was safe and convenient close to the highway

Room was clean and bed was very comfortable Free coffee in the room and lobby that is pretty decent tasting Free breakfast in the morning was one of the best Hampton inn breakfasts I have encountered – 6 hot buffet items that were well made as well as a waffle maker and the other usual itemsWould definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

This Hampton Inn is about a twenty minute drive from Manhattan (w/o traffic) It has a great location near several malls and hundreds of restaurants The hotel appears to be new, the grounds, landscaping and rooms are all very well maintained

The room includes two queen beds, a nice work desk and chair, and plenty of room for storage It also had a mini fridge and microwave There was an indoor pool which was accessible only by appointment, as well as a fitness center The majority of the staff were super nice I didn’t take any pics of the rooms, but they were exactly as pictured on the website

Izabela Kowalik

The hotel was nice at first glance When getting into the room I had to clean it Mirrors smeared sticky substance on the desk and window was filthy

Toilet seat was falling off! To me it’s all about the small details and they were missed through out the whole building NEED BETTER HOUSEKEEPING STAFF Pool area was ok water seemed cloudy and way too much chlorine but we swam in it and survived Gym was decent, again needs some cleaning Breakfast was the best part Food was fresh and yummy Over all its a 3 from me

My family and I stayed there for a few days while on vacation Andrea at the front-desk was AMAZING I had called multiple times prior to checking in about my room type

I was told by a young guy at the front desk he couldn’t help When I called back again to asked to speak with a manager Andrea answered and made everything great She assigned us to a room that accommodated all of our requests Andrea is really a great asset to this hotel Thank you so much Andrea for fixing this stressful situation because we had been driving from Florida to New Jersey

Great place for NYC tourists, 7 min drive via the Holland tunnel or 15 min ferry ride from port imperialVery clean, great staff, good complimentary breakfast, and most important free parkingTarget, Starbucks, chipotle and much more 5 min walk from the hotelHighly recommend

Rohit Sikand

Clean and quite rooms Cannot blame the hotel for the traffic and trucks around Entry and exit is definitely not a positive as it does seem from the back of the building

Staff is helpful absolutely courteous Rooms ( suites) are large and clean Need to advise the front desk of the room cleaning service in advance – due to covid restrictions and availability The suites have two tvs and switch on and off together ! Again not an hotel issue but need to align the remote close to the TV that needs to be shut else the remote controls both TV’s…Breakfast is typical – eggs were COLD !!!!

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your hotel They compare thousands of booking web sites and typically will have prices much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of my favorites in the area

I’ve been staying here for years If you choose this place you definitely will love it I’m sure! This was a super comfortable space We had our own locker in our room without extra cost (bring a padlock), the food and coffee it’s good, nice and bilingual service (Spanish and English) It’s a safe space to stay just a few blocks from Central Park It’s not cheap but for the location and clean rooms and bathrooms it’s worth it

Sam Frost

Pros:Clean rooms and bathroomNice little cafe downstairs with plenty of tables to sit atFriendly staffCons:There are a Lot of younger people

And when I say young, I mean 16-18 year olds and even younger than that They were extremely loud on the evening, quite distracting when I just wanted to chill I feel like the hostel should have an 18+ age restrictionAlso the cafe closes really early too I’d often get back around 2pm and it was already shut for the day so it’s only available in the morning time which is a bit inconvenientOverall, a pleasant stay I travelled on my own and met a couple of other friendly solo travelers, however most people stick to themselves so if you are relying on meeting others then I’d recommend somewhere else Friendly and helpful staff Also it’s a great location too! A short subway ride to times square/Broadway and a short walk to Central Park which was perfect

Katie Brooks-Halling

Superb hostel! I’m travelling the US alone and NYC was my first stop The room was super clean, as were the showers, the staff super friendly, and it is less than a one minute walk to the subway which takes you straight downtown where all the most common attractions are (line 1) Met the most amazing people and wouldn’t hesitate to rebook!! Very decent pricing for NYC too! I understand why all the reviews rave about it

Highly Highly recommend

Great stay with Crowne Plaza for our New York excursion! We decided to stay in Jersey to save on costs and this hotel was perfect for our needs The hotel is located near a hospital building, but we were never disturbed by any ambulance noises – pleasant night sleep! The hotel lobby is well-maintained and opens to the dinning/bar area We stayed in the standard king rooms and it was very clean

Some reviewers have commented on the bathrooms, but I have nothing to complain about them I felt they were clean and tidy The hotel parking lot has a great-looking food truck that we unfortunately didn’t try, but there is a pizzeria around the corner facing a gym that was stellar Additionally, the breakfast buffet is well worth it – Adrian and Gloria recommended it and we were happy that they did Overall, this was a great hotel experience and I will be looking into this hotel again for any more excursions to New York

abeer al ghalbi

Nothing special, except the bad vibe from the manger I usually don’t notice racist people but when I checked in it was the most awkward and racist attitude I noticed that because she was treating a other differently and she insisted that my booking wasn’t legit thill she finally found it

They charged me $50 for insurance and said three businesses days, I will get it back Then they charged me $3530 for no reason and when I called they don’t even know why? They said they will call me back but they never did I bet if I was white no one will charge me extra or there will be doubt if I have the money to stay or not I wish I know why they charged me $3530 but they can’t even tillBed are and the mattress are not comfy, it’s not worth the money or the 4 stars hotel The carpets and rugs are super dirty and smells super bad Not worth the money at all Stay away if you want to have a good night sleep

Leila Violano

After a fairly pleasant stay in April, I was booked to stay here but received a call from the hotel while in transit stating that there was a “plumbing issue” in the King rooms and I was relocated by them to a Best Western I should have suspected an issue when they did not offer alternative accommodations at the Crowne PlazaHowever, when I arrived at the other property I was informed the Crowne Plaza said they told me I’d need to pay although my stay was already fully paid for

In addition, they were planning to charge me almost $400 for a new room at the “walk rate” as if I had just showed up I will never stay here again and would never recommend this property after this experience This was abysmal customer service and feels like a scam

Dirty room and we update but still dirty, rude and unprofessional staff, no towels, small, dirty and anti hygienic breakfast area, toilet broken, dark room, sketchy furniture and old We were scared when we got inside the elevator and started to leaking water and wet the panel Front desk knew it and permitted to used for 4 hours

The other two elevators are hazardous The place smelled so bad that couldn’t stand in the hallway and in the room The sofa and floor was very dirtyThe hotel doesn’t have there own parking We would never even think to stay here again

Starleana Holmes

Have gone a few times Nice service and there’s breakfast Cozy rooms even though sometimes they smell of cigarette

Cute decor Free coffee They do overnight and hourly I gave 3 stars because it’s kind of hard to sleep when u hear neighbors “enjoying” themselves in the next room I’ve machines are not on every floor But over all decent Price isn’t bad $80 for 3 hours $245 kinda steep, for over night They only take cash unless your staying over night Which kinda sucks Nicely clean though 35 stars lol

This came in handy especially I had an early commute to workHowever be sure to confirm if the late check-out option is available as I was told that isn’t a standard offering

Eric Straughen

For a Home 2, this wasn’t bad Decently priced I had a shower issue the first night but in the am we had maintenance come fix it

No issues after Beds were moderately comfortable and the hotel traffic “noise” was kept pretty low No major parties or outside noise interfered with the sleepThe views from the room were walmart and highway 17 Parking wasn’t an issue

Affordable and comfortable place to stay on business Its not fancy but has the comforts of home you would expect to find The cleaning service does a great job and the free breakfast is okay

I’ve stayed in some that were worse and some that were better Highlights are ; the staff is friendly and helpful , the building could use some work and a 20oz drink is almost 4 dollars at the desk, also there’s some remodeling going on so there construction materials everywhere

kim sandoval

This was by far our favorite Hyatt on our trip The rooms are always consistent at Hyatt What made the difference was the staff

Excellent breakfast buffet each day Consistently had great coffee (strong but not too strong) and the management had the best set up with 3 different coffee stations with all the supplies needed so multiple people can get coffees at the same time They were always restocking items so you rarely waited for anything They also consistently had oatmeal, yogurt, and fresh fruit cut up and added blueberries and other fresh fruit They did the best job of rotating the warm breakfast items as well The staff were friendly and helpful Our room was kept clean while we stayed for the week Hyatt should use this hotel as example for others

Gurnoor Pannu

The staff is amazing! Everyone was so helpful, they would go out of the way to help me out! The room was perfect, I went there to take my exam and as I had requested I was given the exact room, rather better! Everyone was so cooperative all alongTanisha was the best there, she and Justin were always a great help to me and made the best coffee for me I highly recommend this place, it’s amazing

Had the best experience with hyatt till date

Great accommodations and the staff we helpful and friendly Some of the other patrons caused some issues in the lobby but the staff handled it really well Breakfast was not a five course meal, but it was good nonetheless

It was more than I expected in these times of COVID, and again the staff was really helpful They went so far as to help one of my youngest children make a waffle since he was confused about the machine Very clean, and safe The water pressure was pretty low in the shower but again, nothing to really complain about The only thing I would 100% say is to NOT take the elevator That bad boy took longer to wait for than the stairs and was SLOW But the hotel is only 4 stories tall so unless you have knee or back problems the stairs are easy to take All in all, I would recommend this hotel and stay here again without any issues

Michael McQuade

I was blown away with how nice this hotel was! Very clean, nice security, small parking lot with about 15 or 20 spaces on the premises Once you check in you get the ticket for your designated parking space if they are not fully booked Very nice new rooms, nice little breakfast in the morning, front desk was great! Just overall a great experience

Nicer than hotels in higher price points!

Prime location – access to so many different shops and entertainment Nice rooms and affordable I enjoyed staying at this hotel but the biggest feature for me was the pool area

It is large and the seating area was very accommodating BUT the pool has not been open since the covid shut down So please be AWARE IF YOU ARE STAYING FOR THE POOL, IT HAS NOT BEEN OPEN! I have not stayed here because since then So my rating may be outdated at this point But I’ve always called for various occasions to book and see if the pool was available and it was never available So for those looking to book because it has a pool, you might as well skip past this hotel

The hotel is a block away from the subway so it’s just a quick walk to and from there The staff was very friendly from check in to check out The room was very nice and clean

The bed was comfortable and the bath was small but nice I like how they offer free bottles to fill up with both regular chilled and sparkling water It’s two subway stops away from Yankee Stadium so it’s a good place to stay if you’re going there for a game

Mailani Fernandez Dailey

This review is STRICTLY for Valentina at the front desk Yes, the hotel is cute, clean, love the decor, etc but Valentina is what made the stay better She took care of everything, was beyond accommodating and sweet

I even had a food delivery order issue and long story short, when they finally made it back with our order, she had it sent up to me instead of me having to walk back down again What a gem! Thank you so much Valentina! You’re amazing!

Gabby was so kind and patient as we checked in after a long day at a dance competition in the area Our room was clean and everything about our stay was comfortable and satisfying The following day, after we returned home, we realized that we had left my daughter’s very-much loved stuffed animal in the bed she slept in

I called and spoke to Ashley, who was incredibly thoughtful and persistent by ensuring that all the bedding was shaken out so they were eventually able to find the stuffed animal She assured me that the stuffed animal would be sitting safely on her desk and that was the case when I returned later that night to retrieve it Both she and Gabby greeted me warmly and gave me the stuffed animal! Thank you to both of them for being so kind and helpful!

I stayed here two nights There is an ATM in the lobby, and the reception sells frozen and packaged snacks you can prepare on your room’s microwave Also, there is a bus stop nearby where you can take a bus that’ll take you to downtown NYC

The staff at reception was very kind and gave us a sheet with instructions of what buses to take to go to NYC and what buses to take to go back to the hotel They contained detailed information and were a relief for my mom and I as we toured NYC by ourselves the last day of our trip These were the highlights of the hotel for me Rooms and breakfast are also good I recommend to stay here 100%!

This Marriott-branded hotel, located near everything yet convenient to nothing, displayed great customer service while also begging for a refurbishment The staff at the front desk were phenomenal, and even went out of their way to show me where the brewery (the only decent thing walkable) is located The pedestrian infrastructure is lacking, so be prepared to drive to find food

The rooms are clean, but show their age in minor cosmetic defects For how Marriott presents this brand, I’d expect better Hopefully they can get a refresh soon, and then I’d come back

Linda was amazing! Best front desk attendant I have ever met at any hotel She was kind, helpful and all around everything you would want greeting you at your hotel when on vacation The housekeeper was a cleaning ninja

The only reason we knew she had been there was because the trash was taken out, beds were made or a light was on She made sure to leave all of our belongings were we left them Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and helpful Gave great directions, told us how the transit system worked I would 1000% stay here again Hotel was very clean and breakfast was great My teens enjoyed the stay as well

Room is reasonable large and clean, breakfast is basic hut sufficient the hotel is overall outdated and they said remodeling is very soon, I won’t complain regarding the price comparing with the surrounding onesThe front desk lady Ashley, was so kind to trying her best to help us out

Thank you Ashley

Barely any shampoo or conditioner body wash or any type of free amenities slippery shower and they barely cleaned our shower when we asked for them to clean our rooms No mats for when you get out of the shower No bench or chair to sit on for handicapped in the shower

Ok breakfast but not much variety in cereals to choose from kinda expensive rooms for what you get

i had the best experience at this hostel the staff is incredibly inviting , kind and helpful i stayed on the top floor (which wasn’t even an annoying walk) the view from my window was an awesome new york skyline

i slept on the top bunk which wasn’t bad at all you get two sheets and a pillow case and a set of keys upon checking in after getting into your room you’ll find a pillow and two thick blankets the bathrooms are pretty clean everything is very tidy the place has such character!! awesome people too! it’s a 5 min walk from the museum of national history, right next to central park and by a ton of food and the subway!! a great street too!

It was just perfect The roomies were great, the room was decent enough for what we paid, the bathroom was great Don’t leave without checking the lounge downstairs, what a charming cultural spot with that mid-XXth century taste!!! They also have a good kitchen for you to buy your own stuff and cook it (so inviting you to save money in a pretty expensive city) and the girl in the front desk is simply lovely and so helpful: ask her just anything and she’ll help out! The area is also super calm, quiet and safe, Central Park is ridiculously close

Go stay to the International Student Center!!!

I stayed here, in a female dorm, for 2 days and 1 night The hostel is well located- right next to central park and about 20 minutes from Times Square, by subway The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they are available for most of the day

Linen, blankets, pillows and the bed were washed and clean The bathroom is very large and clean, though there is a high chance that it may be occupied when you need to use it You can’t take large suitcases up as there is no lift and there were no safes in my dorm Given the rates, I’d highly recommend this hostel

First impression is a good one Clean, bit of an odd layout for a hotel , but very friendly staff We booked on line very easily

We stayed two nights Had breakfast one morning There’s a buffet on Sunday morning for $16 a person However we decided to order fresh off the breakfast menu & were very pleased They did a great job with my special order of an egg white mushroom & cheese omelette cooked well Delicious!Only two disappointments: one was the pool being in disrepair That was one of the reasons we booked there I hope it’s repaired soonThe other was my husband had called the front desk with a question and no one answered the phoneBottom line, I really did like the modern interior design It’s a less expensive, good , clean , quiet place to sleep if you’re traveling in the area or going in and out of NYC

I liked it there Very easy to find off the highway The receptionist was efficient and helpful

I got to my room and it was clean and what I expected I didn’t hear any noise while sleeping, everything worked Even the cleaning staff was helpful I overall enjoyed my stay there I even asked for the receptionist to print my covid test for me and she was happy to help Will be back

I had mixed feelings about this hotel There were strange sticky spots on the floor (I do not want to ponder what they could have been) The room was nice, newly renovated

You could tell they definitely cut corners and some things were barely hanging onto the walls The location wasn’t great, I mean it’s conveniently located off route 17 but I didn’t really feel safe going to and from my car At one point during our stay, there were a bunch of cop cars pulled up in front of the building Everything just felt a little sketchy But definitely not the worst hotel I’ve stayed in

First impression when I stepped in, very neat and clean lobby and breakfast area Receptionists were helpful and quick to assist There are two entrance into the building: one is the main entrance and another around where the other side of the parking lot (back of the main entrance)

Right by the elevators there is a coffee table for their guestsRoom was nice and clean to me Shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, body soap, hand soap were all provided Front desk also provide comb, toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shaving cream, shower cap, etc if you forgot any of those Room has microwave and mini fridge Only complaint I have for the room would be the water in the shower stand There is completely no water pressure there Basically I feel like the water is dripping down instead of flushing out It took me awhile to feel my hair has rinsed off the shampoo and that i am actually clean If they increase the water flow, I believe this would be a good place to return for another stayI do like their complimentary breakfast from 7-10am Might not be the best I’ve had but definitely decent selection of good food And all day complimentary coffee…I like that

I have always had great stays at Hampton Inns and this one was great too The rooms were clean, in excellent condition, and comfortable The heating system worked well, which was important on the very cold night we stayed there

They also finally had the free hot breakfast service, which was a welcome accomodation This Hampton has free parking, which is important to me, since I drove a long distance to get there, however, their airport shuttle service was still not operating The staff was friendly and helpful, and gave me the option of free late checkout as I waited for my wife’s delayed flight to arrive
