This hotel has a clean reception area, but the rooms are filthy! We spilt some water from our cooler bag on the floor When a white towel was used to wipe up the water, it was black with dirt from the small area cleaned The floors were different laminate in different areas, dirt was in every corner, and the floors were sticky

The toilet had a misfitting lid to the tank, and pieces of the toilet were laying on the floor The worst part is that we were scammed and notified by the fraud department of our bank from this hotel They ran our debit card twice for the payment of $10582 ($20 additional for 2 dogs) Then they ran an additional $20 and $15 These are currently in dispute Our strong recommendation is that you NEVER stay here!

If I could give a 0 stars I would horrible experience Just a friendly reminder to all people stay away from this hotel they will charge your credit card twice and when you confront them there excuse will be dirty towels $60 dollars for dirty towels I’m sorry but after reading most of the reviews it seems like a pattern in charging extra for dirty towels Pool is very dirty and not mention rude management that instead of giving me a good explanation after I confronted them and told them I always take pictures when I check in and when I check out Of a room to make sure nothing has been damage in or after my stay they refused to refund my money and to top it off I still left tip for housekeeping for housekeeping to not come and do my bed or get me new towels I had request the second day of my arrival JUST STAY AWAY FROM HERE

Paul Romans

When reading the reviews we choose this as it was “affordable” you get what you pay for Arrived to the first room, the fridge was broken, floors was nasty Told front desk, they moved us to another room, beds were disgusting, cigarette holes in the comforter, food crumbs on the bed, hair all over the sink, no toilet paper in the bathrooms

Yet again had to move rooms, this room at least the beds were clean, mold in the window seals, very outdated facility The smell in the building was horrible, smoke filled hallways, the pool stunk extremely bad If I could give this place a negative rating I would Please if you have kids, or just overall want a decent place to stay DO NOT choose this place! Unfortunately we were stuck because all other hotels were full

Not usually a fan of outside door rooms, that’s just a me thing, nothing against the motelRoom was clean, plenty of parking, friendly customer service at the deskShower has plenty of water pressure, which if you stay in a hotel/ motel on any kind of regular basis, you understand the importance of good water pressure! The only reason for 4 stars is the place is a little dated, some of the bathroom fittings have that corrosion look where the finish is coming off

Otherwise a great, clean place to stay

Tammy Frakking

Felt that all in all, the price was high for what you gotNice lobbyNice outdoor pool

Room: No desk in room, toilet “ran” loudly and constantly, bed-side clock cannot be read at night, plumbing (from neighboring units) really loud, “grab bar” in tub/shower was loose/brokenNice mini fridge with really deep freezer and a keurig coffee maker in roomTerribly laid out breakfast room seating area, but really nice included breakfast (scrambled eggs/sausage/biscuits& gravy, toast, bagel, muffin, bars, juice, coffee, cereal, oatmeal, a yogurt dispenser (!) and about 8 varieties of tea to choose from) Good service, friendly staff

The rooms were clean enough for the price They tried to remove the smoke smell that prior nicotine addicts left in the room, and were mostly successfulThere was a continental breakfast with a few pastries, coffee, and all the cereal you could want

However, they had no milk and didn’t know if/when they were going to get anyIts otherwise fairly priced for what you get and I’m assuming it is a family run business trying to make the numbers work

Khaldoun Algiburi

I loved the staff They were so nice I liked the location since it was right by I75, but I just had a few issues

Some of my towels were dirty, but I got replacements for them the next day The room smelled like stale smoke which is okay, but being a non smoking room I would of thought it would of smelled better Lastly was just cleanliness, the bathroom floor tile looked like it wasn’t swept before check in and on the last day we saw and got rid of a roach on the wall If it wasn’t my last day I would of said something to switch me out! This was the first time in a long time I didn’t get an AirBnB and might be the last hotel ill ever book Love the people though

B Banister

Decent hotel for this price point Rooms were dated, but clean and the AC worked well All staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful

Location was close to the freeway and multiple dining choices of all types, yet secluded enough on a side street that traffic and noise were no issue at all The only downside was the pool area The hot tub jets were broken, there were no towels available, and there was always an excessive amount of trash left by other guests

Couldn’t have asked for better accommodations than what I received at this lovely hotel! Exceptional room, beautiful furnishings, jacuzzi & got late checkout when registering Best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had the pleasure to eat! Omelets, sausage, bacon, biscuits, waffles fruits & 5 juices are just a part of their offering! Wonderful!! Might add that the clerk on duty was one of the kindest & most helpful gentlemen I’ve had the pleasure of meeting- a real example for hospitality My wife requires motorized mobility assistance & he was very helpful to her when selecting accommodations for us that worked with her needs

Great location & price too boot Would recommend this lodging to anyone wanting a step above Thanks for a wonderful night stay-over on our trip!

Great room Fair pricing Best free hotel breakfast I’ve had this year

UPDATE:I believe that most of the “bad” reviews are off-baseFor example, there are people in this thread who had complained about the ‘busy Starbucks’ next door, but the reality is: It’s rather super convenient and awesome to have a Starbucks right next doorI digress, this hotel was fantastic

This hotel was disgusting and the woman at the front desk was extremely rude We went here because all other hotels were booked and we had been driving for 14 hoursWe checked in around 1:00am and went straight to bed

After laying there for 19 minutes my kids said they couldn’t sleep because they felt like something was crawling on them We turned the lights on and found bugs We immediately called the front desk and they didn’t act surprised at all We got dressed, packed up our things and headed downstairs to get our money back They would not give us our money back Now I hope we didn’t bring their bugs home DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

We reserved the rooms in advance There was no warning they were renovating The smell of paint was very thick in the air and almost nauseating

It stayed a migraine with me in minutes The room had a gap in space at the bottom of the door so large a small animal could have come through It was advertised online the continental breakfast was free but upon arrival the sign stayed there was no food due to renovations I am absolutely not saying do not renovate What I am saying is it is not worth paying 4 star prices for a 2 star hotel while renovating Advertise our notify about the renovations in advance and people may not get upset We left and I know at least 3 other families left while we were leaving The headache could have easily been spared with honesty before we arrived and pricing that suited the circumstances I am not paying $155 a night to breath paint and construction dust 😑

Robert Sebastian (LOCAL REVIEW GERU)

This place is extremely nice for the price! The rooms are very clean and there’s no carpet which is great!! Its under new management and you can tell they have taken the time to upgrade and renovate the inn They were removing all the sleeper sofa’s when we were there and replacing them with new ones The only thing that we would like to see added to the rooms are bathroom fans, for circulation

When you take a shower there is no where for the hot air to go, or unpleasant air when you use the bathroom Other than that there is nothing this inn needs! The help is outstanding, from the front desk to housekeeping! They also have a outside pool as well, plus free breakfast from 6-9am Also Brooklyn brother’s pizzeria is located in front of the inn, you get 10% off your order there if you tell them your staying at Red Roof Inn! Such a amazing place for the price plus your close around all the local tourists attractions!! Will recommend to anyone and will be staying here again in the future!!

Some areas still need renovating The room was newly renovated as far as flooring, bathroom and beds, but not the air conditioning When we arrived it wasn’t on and the room was uncomfortable

A room key card must be inserted in this energy saving device on the wall so if you don’t leave it there the air isn’t running We left for awhile to eat and left it running, so it was better when we returned The sink in the bathroom sits on top of the vanity and sprays you when turning it on It also sits up too high The new beds were hard and sit up high Could be difficult for elderly people The toilet sits not centered and too close to the vanity Breakfast was disappointing Everything was very clean and front desk were very friendly

This is an older motel, and somewhat dated looking mind you, BUT

the room was very clean and well-kept, and everything was in good working condition The bed and pillows were comfortable (mattress a bit firm, but that’s my preference anyway), the shower had plenty of hot water, and the morning coffee in the lobby was the real deal (not that awful instant stuff that some motels provide) And even though it’s close to a busy highway, the room was surprisingly quiet No breakfast, but there are several restaurants close by If you want something swankier with more amenities, there’s a popular chain motel right up the hill from the Budget Host Westgate You’ll pay more than double the rate that this motel charges, too But if all you want is a clean, comfortable, quiet room where you can get a good night’s rest at a reasonable price, you can’t go wrong with this place

RV Park Review This park had basically a freeway of traffic going through it Driving over there RR tie property boundary

Tearing up there grass and almost hitting multiple RV’s and my truck I had a difficult time getting office staff to address finally found an office staff lady that cared (afternoon) They moved a picnic table to block some access I parked in the vacant space next to me to block traffic that way The next morning a man came to my door, announced he was co-owner of the park He told me to move my truck as there was another RV coming in His demeanor was Not Friendly I told him about the traffic basically short cutting through the property and almost hitting other RVs including mine and my truck He didn’t care and balked at me not telling management at the time of the incident which Occurred at 2am and throughout the evening (I had told management the next morning) He had No Apologies as the owner of the Park that my property was not safe (being hit by non-park users) in his park I wouldn’t stay at this park if I didn’t have to I am working close by temporarily And will do all I can to prevent others from experiencing this bad experience

Had a room on the ground floor and could hear a bunch of stomping/running from the room above us Went to go swimming and there was a mouse swimming in the pool; we told the guy at the front desk but didn’t go back to see if they got it out! Room wasn’t too bad, it had a nice bathroom but floors/towels were stained and beds were small Didn’t try their breakfast

We were on our way back to Tennessee and ended up staying here because of the weather I walked in and the girl at the front desk was on her phone, with ear buds in I stood there for a minute or two, with no acknowledgment

I said “ma’am” a couple of times, and still nothing so I rang the bell that was right in front of her and finally got her attention The rooms were below average The beds are very small and not very comfortable The hotel seemed “sanitary” but is very dated and run down The carpet seemed very dingy and there were stains on the couch and bed skirts The breakfast was decent and the girl that took over for night shift was very nice I only saw one employee at a time during our stay and I went down to get drinks and there was a couple down there who said they had been standing there for 30-45 minutes, waiting to be checked in It was the first hotel we could safely get to but definitely would not recommend

gayala maas

We often search for a comfort inn while traveling They are normally dependable to have a good clean comfortable stay However, not so with this one

Besides needing obvious repairs, the beds are worn down and breakfast was very hard to come by We had to ask several times for the breakfast items to be brought out The facility was under staffed The kitchen hostess was also covering the front desk and answering phones She was doing the best she could

When traveling we always stay at Hamptons The rooms are very nice and clean They have large bathrooms

They have microwaves and refrigerators in all the rooms The inside pool at this location smelled and looked like they had to many chemicals in it They had a small outside area that he was allowed to go outside and smoke I went along to listen to the birds The next morning they had a free complimentary breakfast that you serve yourself and I always like the varieties that you’re able to get which is all included in your stay

I definitely do not recommend this Holiday Inn Express We checked in about 10pm Our room #215 had a terrible odor like dirty laundry

One bed had stained sheets And the air conditioner did not run properly Not only did it not cool the room, but it sounded like a freight train all night The bathroom had stains on the ceiling and pink mold on the trim as well this hotel is not maintaining the quality we are used to with Holiday Inn Express hotels Edited to add we are Holiday Inn Express members

Website shows no pets, but yet dogs yapping down the hall like they were left there aloneI have never had a bad experience at Holiday Inn until now when I suggested they post a sign informing people that they allow pets so they could make other arrangements like a different pet free floor,or another motel if they wanted to be able to sleep without being at a pet shelter, front desk girl curtly said I should go up the road

Exactly what I will do from now on

One of the best customer experiences I’ve ever had At around 3am I was passing through on the way home after being in Florida After a long day of driving we had a tire blow out and needed somewhere to stay

After hearing what happened they offered us a great deal on a room After arriving the woman at the front desk was extremely nice She offered us whatever drink from the fridge that normally costs money for free and was very kind The next morning we ended up needing a tow truck and they let us hangout there until 4pm even though we checked out at 11 The woman that morning was very nice also The rooms were clean and comfortable and I have not a bad word to say about this hotel Extremely impressed!

Nice hotel! The concierge, Stephanie, went above & beyond to help us get a room late last night when we got too tired to drive and had to stop for the night I’m allergic to feather pillows and when I let her know and asked if I could bring in my own pillow, she went to the room and replaced the feather pillows with foam pillows No one has ever offered to do that for me, before

Her demeanor is excellent when dealing with the public and this hotel is clean and very nice, it’s only 4 years old, as well We were so comfortable & slept so well That bed!!! Felt so great sinking into those pillows and driftng off to sleep Will stop here again, for sure!

Decent stay overall The lobby was most definitely dated, the rooms were more up to date and easier to stay in The hotel is right off the freeway which helps for travel

The bathroom was small, our toilet seat will snap your nuts if you move while sitting, and the sink is at the front door The corners of the bed frame will lacerate your shin if you cut that corner as it did to most of my party throughout our stay (no body was harmed) The room got nice and cold which is a must The shower got nice and hot, also a must and the room felt very clean The breakfast was good, the dining area was a little awkward though The service was top notch Over all I think some things could use a little tweaking, but I had a decent stay over all

Lloyd Vandenberg

Plus – Nice to have an indoor pool and hot tubRoom was decent in size and fairly clean

Minus – hot tub was over chlorinated We were watching TV and a bedbug began walking across our bed We told the front desk and moved to the Hampton across the roadBecause we booked through tripcom we couldn’t get a refund from the hotel directly and had to contact tripcom to get our refund A lot of work to get a refund
