It was just ok We were in town for a baseball trip The staff was excellent! Breakfast was great

Hotel seemed to be updated but not well done Wallpaper was taped up in several locations Our room had black mold spots in the bathroom on the wall and ceiling paint was chipping off Our room was hot and refrigerator didn’t get very cold We were unable to control the temperature It wasn’t allowed Our room structure seemed to slope down hill in the center of the room to the point our dresser doors would not stay closed There was no ice machine on each floor Only the first floor had ice The pool was nice but never had towels On the bright side, the staff was great, breakfast was good Staff kept it stocked It’s close to entertainment and freeway!

Our room we were given at check in, was very clearly smoked in before us The hotel claims to be smoke free, but apparently this did not apply for a previous guest We never asked for a different room, tried to make it through the night, yet here I am laying here at 2 am writing a review because I am unable to sleep with this massive headache because my room smells like second hand smoke

Stay somewhere else that is cleaner than here

Wow this place is quite the get away Close to the city but secluded The drive in was magical with tall trees and rolling landscape

A great drive on a motorcycle The grounds are surreal and the dining and service was phenomenal I can’t wait to take family and friends! What an amazing story and place I loved everything! Perfect for families or honeymoon

Maria Gustafson

This place is great!! Our second time staying here with our large extended family We had the best time Beds are actually decently comfy, food on premises is very good, staff is super friendly and helpful and the surrounding area is so beautiful

The only thing I will say that needs attentionthe outdoor pool All 3 days it was cloudy, full of leaves and bugs I see the girls cleaning it before it opens but whatever they are using is not doing a great job at all Also, since there are 2 lifeguards who never seem to be really paying attention(on their phones or talking to each other), you would think one of them could go around every couple hours and skim the junk out of the pool? My dad even offered to do it but they said no thanks and still never did anything So, I think this might need some more attention to detail Otherwise, everything was great and we enjoyed our stay

Miranda Maynard

My friend and I were looking for a place to stay midway between Cleveland and Columbus The resort was just about halfway I had never been been to the resort although I had been to the Mohican area many times

The accommodations were perfect and the property was beautiful The restaurant and bar had delicious food The Manager, Lisa, made sure we had a great time Also, I need to mention the bartender, Sawyer He was friendly, kind, and attentive—what an amazing part of the team We plan to come back and I would recommend Thank you!

An excellent staff and very kind manager I actually didn’t stay there but had a very positive day with them I had a lot of car troubles and the staff was willing to let me stay there and wait for my car to get towed while I dealt with the various issues I was having

Honestly it was refreshing to see a place that was just willing to help a guy out and I truly appreciated it I am hoping I can find a reason to go up and actually stay at the hotel due to how kind they were Definitely would reccommend staying there due to their staff and manager

Brenda Hermann

We had lost power , we are local, stayed first night charged $125 , was going to stay a second night till Quality Inn wanted $204 for a second night Your room was nice and clean, I’ll give you that But that price gouging was rediculious! Sorry but not sorry , so we ended up staying across the road at motel 6

And I got to say , their new renovated room was very quite impressive, there bathroom was way nicer and price was definitely fair So with that being said , I would definitely stay in Motel 6 over Quality Inn And I would definitely recommend Motel 6 before Quality Inn Thank you ,please stop the price gouging , that’s not good business One more thing if motel 6 , had a pool and a few more eminities Look out

Liz Matheny

This hotel exceeded every expectation I had! I was looking for hotels all up and down the interstate, they all had bad reviews and/or bed bugs This one had okay reviews and no mention of bugs so I gave it a chance I’m SO glad I did!! First off- driving up it was so well lit! I appreciate that! Second- greeted by Tony at the desk and he was a delight! So friendly, so kind and chatty in a fun way, not in an annoying way! Then the room was so clean! Breakfast was great too! They have refrigerated/frozen foods and you can heat them up, grab and go cereal type foods too

Cannot recommend this place enough! Next time I’m traveling through I will be staying here!!

This was a very clean and comfortable stay The staff was friendly and helpful The breakfast was tasty also which is usually not the case for free continental breakfasts

The breakfast also had plenty of healthy choices The pool looked clean (I did not have a chance to swim on my short stay though) I wish the hot tub would have been working because that was much needed after a long drive I am super excited that this location recently became pet friendly so I can use it again in the future Highly recommended!

My husband and I spent a few nights at the Wishmaker B&B We had the most incredible experience The food was really good

The entire place was extremely clean I can’t leave out the general manager Kathryn, she is a major asset to the Wishmaker! She made us feel like part of the family as soon as we got there They were very accommodating to our dietary restrictions and my food allergies

Stephanie Libby

We came here just for the Outdoor Igloo Dining experience The staff was great, friendly and quick service Food options were good and the various wines we tried were delicious

I tried their house Midnight Rendezvous (what a fun name)! The i floor was fun but chilly since the circuits kept blowing and then the heaters were off but they did warn us at the time of booking to dress for the weather so we all had plenty of layers and coats on but never got warm enough to take them off

Teddy D

We ate at wishmaker for a birthday and had a really great time We reserved an outdoor igloo It was warm enough especially while the sun was out

Food was great the cheesecake was fantastic I did not try any other wines but Word on the street is, they are amazing Great staff, delicious food Prices are great for the quality of food and service The location is also beautiful

First stay for my girlfriend and I and we enjoyed it Expected though as I have always had good stays at a Hampton Inn The service staff were friendly

The woman who runs the breakfast area in the mornings was a delight to talk to Room and property as a whole were clean We enjoyed the indoor pool Do wish there was still a hot tub, but the rinse off shower area with the wide shower head was a nice touch We liked our stay as lot and will totally consider staying again

Andrew Miller

Superb front desk staff helpfulness and friendliness during 9 day stay in January 2022 Very friendly breakfast staff with area well maintained and clean during breakfast period Breakfast selection was standard Hampton fare which I thought fine for this hotel rating

Some excessive noise during evening from hallway but nothing of level to complain Very clean room and bathroom/shower! Wifi worked great for my business meetings when needed (mostly personal trip)

Patricia “Patti” Bigelow

I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was in little old Mansfield, Ohio There is a newer Hampton in on Springhill Lexington Drive next to Cheddar’s, which we haven’t stayed at I would book at this Hampton Inn on Main Street again if it is less expensive than the newer one

This Hampton Inn is nice and cozy Staff is very professional The place is clean and well stocked Our stay here was very comfortable

It’s close to some stores and restaurants, that can be reached in a walking distance, but it will be better to have a car in order to reach other optionsThe kitchen is the first thing when entering the room and it is well equipped with refrigerator, dish washer, sink with food processor, coffee machine, microwave and a toaster (not very well cleaned) Having also silverware, pans and tools

If needed there’s more kitchen devices to ask for free at reception, like an electronic cooking pan, and also board gamesThere is a wardrobe with hangers, a sofa-bed, a light fixture, a table and a good chairThe toilet is equipped with a bathtub together with a shower and curtains It’s provided bath soap, shampoo and conditioner There is a hair dryer inside the drawer in the sinkWhat I did dislike was the service provided in the reception When I arrived, before the check-in time, the receptionist had no empathy, didn’t even check for available rooms, and then told me that the check-in is at 3pm and I wouldn’t able to do it before, because there was no available rooms until then Five minutes later, a colleague arrives and, with another receptionist, he is able to check-in for his room (would be the same type as mine)

Photos are good but check your room completely! Check out the bathroom first, my shower walls weren’t cleaned & the shower curtain was so old it had mold residue coated across the entire bottom to top that off the little rings were rusted and falling apart!Staff tried to help, but its hard to fight an up hill battle with No Leader/Boss to give positive and motivational direction!Bosses don’t make excuses! They take issues & problems & solve them by any means to appease the costumerThis professionalism was lacking in this specific institution! I find this is very unfortunate, {TownePlaces Suite By Marriott} is usually makes sure their hotels are held to the up most & highest standards in the hotel industry!I was raised in Mansfield & live near Chicago have stayed from {Trump Hotel 5 Star all the way}As well as many Hotels Owned by Marriott over 25 for business & personal needs! My experience at {TownePlace Suites by Marriott Mansfield Ontario}Was absolutely horrible, please if you like cleanliness & have small children avoid staying here its not even worth the locationHope you read this before you throw away you money thinking you will receive standard respect and general treatment!

Nik Nik

It looks nice however looks can be deceiving Found blood stains on comforter a day after our stay Pool was closed and no mention of it

The air conditioner is hard to control, either you’re too hot or cold! Paid for a KING studio and the bed was clearly a queen That’s deception and theft if you ask me! I wanted to say something but my husband talked me out of it We’ll probably stay somewhere else next time

Scali Family

This was such a nice motel in a very appealing location to stay while on the way home up north While I did not come with kids I can see it is extremely kid friendly with many bells and whistles like the variety of pastries and fixings for the kids in the morning breakfast The front desk is very proper and interested in the quality of your stay

I appreciate that The beds were comfortable and the furniture was nice I really liked the bathroom layout and the bath was great I recommend you stay on the first floor for quiet Don’t forget to grab a sandwich at the late night Dunkin Donuts outside

Lindsey Franz

Super fun family experience! The hotel was clean, and the staff was very friendly The arcade games were great – some gave prizes, and the claw machines were super easy I didn’t mind spending extra in the arcade because I felt like I wasn’t just throwing away money

The pool was clean – extremely chlorinated, which is probably a good thing, but the chemicals being off caused the water to be super cloudy, which was weird Shower water temps & pressure were great It was hard to get our room to a comfortable temp, but both the heat and the AC worked really well The room was on the smaller side, but beds were comfortable, and the in-room fridge and microwave were appreciated Breakfast is grab n go style; the selections were okay (frozen jimmy dean sandwiches, cereal bars, fruit cups, yogurt, etc)

Jamie Berning

I would give them 5 stars for customer service The workers were kind and helpfulUnfortunately, cleanliness is lacking

The shower head was covered in a slime residue, a fake eyelash was laying in the decorative boat at the pool, and the water in the pool is murkyThe hotel attracts a quality of person that seems to have disregard for others Around 6pm the entire water area was filled with a combination of families and oblivious high school students The teenage boys scattered throughout were rough, playing basketball over top of parents with small children With other hoops open, they still came crashing down in close proximity to little kids regularly Additionally there were parents who were allowing children of all ages to run the pool area and the hotel unattendedThe best time to use the pool is between 11-4, after check out and before check in This would require a two day stay So, if you’re planning to go and aren’t wanting to sign up for total chaos that would be when you should hit up the pool areaThe game room was ok For young kids, it was entertaining for about 30 min It was crowded Most games cost $1We wouldn’t go back We did have an hour of quieter time in the early afternoon, and our kids enjoyed the splash pad and adult/kid hot tub That hot tub was packed like sardines by 5pmAlso worth noting, they have a police officer who came to stand guard There were no situations that he was involved in while we were there, but I found it curious that they had an officer present for the eveningFor plenty of people, this is the place to be But if cleanliness and respect of personal space matter to you, I would keep looking
