The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and I will say the overall price was fair Would rate as a 35 stars

The best part of this experience was the included breakfast! The food was simple, yet delicious, and the 24-hr coffee service was also really nice! Was hoping for the same breakfast after the first morning, but they changed it up The second breakfast wasn’t bad but I liked the previous morning betterAs far as the room itself, it wasn’t the most impressive It felt clean but worn down and old The chair in my room had a stain on it and wasn’t that comfortable, the shower was creaky when in use, the water pressure was not great and neither were the settings on the shower head All-in-all, everything still functioned as it should have, but could use some improvements

⚠️ I normally ignore reviews with billing issuesbut I beg of you do not ignore this one ⚠️I was charged for 3 nights when we stayed one night, I spent hours on the phone with them trying to get them to refund the extra nights and they finally refunded one night not the whole amount It’s been a nightmare, I was told on the phone by the Hilton dispute representative that this hotel has a lot of problems

I sent pictures of my checking account to show the extra charges and my receipt from booking I’m a Hilton rewards member who spends almost every night at a hotel and have never had an issue like thisAbsolutely do not trust this hotel with your card information! You might think you’ll be fine and are doing everything right but they will take your money and not give it back

Tanner Mong

First room they gave me was not cleaned by housekeeping Bed not made, beer cans everywhereThey gave me a new room, it was a larger room, but still very tiny compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at

The first morning I got a call from the front desk asking if I had seen a sweatshirt left by the previous guest in the closetI opened the closet and found the sweatshirt hanging right in the doorwayI took the sweatshirt down to the front desk and they didn’t even apologize Just said “it happens sometimes” Very unprofessional all aroundIf you made it this far, the one good thing about the hotel, the breakfast wasn’t the worst I had seen

My husband stayed a couple days and nights April 7-9 The people that work here are so kind and show wonderful hospitality! The room was very clean, the pillows and blankets were so soft it felt like sleeping on a cloud in heaven We’ve never slept so amazing in any hotel

Everything we needed was immediately accessible, and here’s the kicker- they actually will brew you a fresh pot of really great quality coffee in the lobby anytime, it’s never stale old or burntWe could go on and on, the prices are incredible, great services, high quality bedding and beds and wonderful staff! We are looking forward to staying again next time we are around this area!

Nancy Miller

The staff were nice enough but once we got home we realized we had some clothes stolen out of our room while we were at the Pro Football Hall of Fame I am thankful we didn’t leave any electronics or valuable in the room Also upon arrival sheets and comforter had hairs all over it and found a spider in the sheets

They gave us new clean sheets and comforter but that was a little unnerving The hotel is really run down and needs to have some money put into it The breakfast was very minimal

Bob Treue

The Sleep Inn of Bolivar was bad They had an excellent location off the highway, next to a McDonald’s, next to a park, and next to a grocery store, but the hotel itself was mediocre The internet was brutally slow at 3 MBps

The walls were paper thin My neighbor’s alarm went off at 4AM and woke me up The shower was one of those 1970s claustrophobic 3′ x 3′ plastic chambers, although the water was hot and there was good water pressure The complimentary breakfast was weak as well All in all, great location, but not much else to offer

For what we paid, this hotel was excellent Clean, nice, and the continental breakfast was what I would have expected pre COVID Plus, being pet friendly was a great bonus since we were traveling with 2 dogs

It really was the little things, like that their clean up stations outside weee actually stocked with bags, unlike so many places I’ve been!

Joe

Very nice place and friendly staff Didn’t get the chance to check them out but they have a lot of onsite amenities which look easily enjoyable Literally only bad thing is they don’t have sat/premium cable

Basic local all you get I’m not much of a TV person so I got just a few channels I actually watch(which are premium channels through most providers)

Tracie Saunders

Beautiful, bright, and warm lobby The bar and breakfast area was neat and clean Our room was immaculate

Very roomy but the water pressure was very low and the tub didn’t drain very well We’d stand in about an inch of waterThey had a nice spread for breakfast There was eggs, bacon, cereal, waffles, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, boiled eggs They provided juices, coffee, milk, and water and tea Unfortunately there was only 1 poor girl trying to keep everything full while also tending the desk It was busy in the breakfast area so the food kept needing refilled and we had to wait But she worked very hard! They were kind enough to let us keep our luggage there after checkout We had a basketball tournament nearby to attend and we had caught a ride with friends to it So they allowed us to store our luggage there We will definitely return and use this place again when we have to return to townOne last thing, their pool and exercise room are both open and clean!

The employees were super friendly, and very helpful Bonus: they were all wearing masks My only complaint is that the coffee in the room was kinda terrible and they only provide one sugar per cup

The coffee provided in the lobby, however, was delicious, and I had access to all the sugar I could ever need Bed was comfy, the hair dryer dried my hair, and they even provided makeup remover I don’t know when I’ll be able to visit my grandma again but when I do I’ll be staying here

Tails of a Nation

We are currently staying here until emergency housing opens up It has been a very pleasant experience! The rooms are huge, bigger than most apartments Maintenance and housekeeping respects your living space while you’re staying

They are very accommodating, allowed us to replace our tv due to a small dent in the corner It’s not like anything you’d see for 100-200$ a night, but if you’re not picky, it’s an amazing place to stay

Nicole M

Huge rooms, unmatched convenience of household appliances Full size stove/oven, refrigerator and PLENTY OF CLOSET SPACE TV in the living room and bedroom, 2 queen size beds plus the couch in the living room has another pull out bed

Some rooms have a hair dryer Weekly rate of $420 is an insane deal really You can get any drug without leaving the premises and should you want some female companionship, you guessed it, she’s next door Hey, I don’t judge

Nick Jindra

Unable to stay as we arrived for check in just to find nobody there and a disconnected phone number Bookingcom was able to get a hold of somebody who said to cancel us as there was a family emergency and no employees could get in on this short of notice

We were able to get refunded of our booking fees but not our time or gas as where we ended up staying was about a half hour away The worst part is we were talking to long term guests while waiting on bookingcom customer service and they said the reason the person who was supposed to be at the desk left was because her daughter had a job interview Hardly an emergency but if it was an emergency it sounds like one that somebody had notice to let us know that our stay wasn’t happening Freak occurance?, maybe but enough to sour my view of this place forever Places like this are why google needs a 0 star review option because the 1 star is credit this place doesnt deserve

I’ve worked In hospitality for over 22 years and I can’t express how much I can appreciate good, Clean service from a hotel! This location exceeded my expectations The room was stocked, clean and comfortable The front desk girl was great and such a perfect location

Breakfast was not great, but it’s not anywhere that I’ve been in the past few years I can’t wait to return

J O’Brien

This hotel looks very nice And the front desk ladies were very kind Even though the room was very nice, it was not cleaned very well

The floor was not vacuumed well, the mirror was extremely streaky, the nightstands were very dusty, the head board had visible streaks and hand prints, as well as the closet door around the handles Also, the shower door did not have a rubber strip at the bottom, so a lot of water ran out onto floor with every shower The worst was the bed Didn’t seem like the sheets or comforter was clean And the pillows felt very flat We brought our issues to the front desk and the lady said they would have it completely cleaned, the “whole shot” as she put it She added 5000 points to my account, but that didn’t do anything When we returned to the room, the bedding was replaced and towels were replenished And that’s it No “whole shot” was done at all This was a shame, because it was a nice room But to know it wasn’t cleaned properly it just disgusting The whole room should have been FULLY cleaned after we let them know of the issues Disappointed in the customer service

Jeffery Addison

4 night stay from July 7-11 Huge issues with cleanliness Found blood stains in the bedding

House keeping did not switch out towels/bedding nightly, probably as a cost measure For the price, not very good value considering Breakfast options were severely underwhelming They literally had a waffle iron that was unplugged and set in a corner Hotel management promised us points for the gross experience, never materialized We will not be returning

I give it a 2 because the pool was amazing However, the hotel was not It is dark and outdated

The bed is super uncomfortable and you can feel the springs The outlets do not work The toilet did not work, would not flush The room smelled like old musty smoke It is very dark in the room The bottom of the wall was missing the tiles, the water pressure is very low, and the washcloth hanger on the shower was all moldy and broken The tv is VERY small for a large room and bed The door to get into the room is difficult to open, took about 10 minimum just to get on the room each time For the price we were expecting a very different/more updated and working room We will NEVER return and would not recommend to anyone unless you want to waste you money

Adrienne Kaplan

My friend and recently stayed at the Inn We had never been to the area and found this wonderful establishment online Everything was absolutely wonderful! The accommodations were great! Super clean and quiet and very close to many attractions

We used the pool, spa and room service It was exceptional! The spa was absolutely wonderful! The staff there was courteous and professional Always helpful and smilingWe will definitely return I give it 5 stars!

Jewel Cline

It’s a lovely building However, no handicapped entrance or accessibility We had to lug our suitcase up and down steps just to get to an elevator

In the photos it shows high ceilings and open space, im sure its there, but i guess run of the mill guests dont get that particular ambiance I never saw anything of the kind, which is why we booked here In addition, its kindof creepy when someone tries to follow you to your room after telling them you dont need help, And when you come inside someone pops up from behind a wall to stare at you We won’t be staying here again

Pros : We called last minute and they were able to get us into a room, the staff was super friendly and very helpful The room was great!Cons : sadly the bathroom in our room had hair all over the floorBut all in all the hotel was great!! Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back!!

I am very upset with Hyatt Canton place We had reservations for 5 rooms that were made on the website 3 weeks later I get an email saying they had been canceled with absolutely no reason

I called and found out the hotel had overbooked because someone did not block off rooms for a festival in town So they just canceled all the latest bookings We were booked with confirmation #s for a holiday weekend and they basically left us scrambling to find rooms The prices also had gone way up They also accused me of trying to use gov rate? If I’m a government employee I’m allowed to use that rate This has definitely left me very upset with Hyatt I have never in all my years of travel had a hotel just cancel without trying to relocate to another hotel or offer a free night for your troubles especially when they screwed up I was told there was a glitch in there system Manager Matt was very uncaring about the situation When I asked for the corporate phone # he told me to find it myself The negative reviews keep coming for this hotel Please read the reviews before booking here

Our room was spacious and quite comfortable The towels were lush Carrie, the hostess, is knowledgeable and really wants to make sure you enjoy your stay

She left a sweet treat on our bed and welcomed us to enjoy coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the living room There were games and books available Carrie had great suggestions for dining and shopping The breakfast was excellent and we were even treated to some leftover muffins I haven’t stayed in a bed and breakfast in many years and was initially nervous to book – however, our stay was great and I would strongly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting the Canton area It is also very convenient to the McKinley Memorial and Library and the Football Hall of Fame

Ashley Yanzsa

Carrie was an excellent host The hospitality was out of this world I had to be checked out super early due to my work schedule and she accommodated breakfast for myself and my coworker

She was so gracious about it and the food was heavenly Highly recommend staying here It’s a 7 minute drive to the football hall of fame and you can get anywhere very quickly

This may be one of the best hotel experiences I have had in a long while Check was smooth and easy The front desk workers were amazing and nice

When I got to the room the air conditioner wasn’t really cold I turned it down and when got back from country fest it still wasn’t cold I said something the next morning Had breakfast which was amazing everyday I was here I wish they did waffles everyday, that’s my only complaint The pool is a little small but was nice to get into after long nights Back to air conditioning after country fest that might I was not looking to come into a hot room and to my delighted surprise they installed a brand new unit This hotel was booked and sold out I wasn’t thinking they were goin be able to get to it That encompasses the stay here Really awesome people great service and perfect rest stop

Caitlin Adams

Rooms were stinky

the building was over crowded they rented out the lounge and pool area to a spring break group and half didn’t stay at the hotel There were some “interesting characters ” that kept going in and out of the hotel meeting with people all hours of the night We had a front room so we watched it all go down U can hear everything in your room and other rooms, plus one room was smoking pot and made our room horrible I wouldn’t care but we have young children Overall, the area has better hotel options The staff the works the lounge for breakfast, was the best thing about our stay, they helped the kids make waffles and were extremely friendly

Staff was super niceHave you ever told yourself ‘its only for one night’? This was that hotel room

The room left a little to be desired, it needs an overhaul The lav rocked back n forth when you sat down You could hear people walking above you as if that is where the 🐘 elephant family stays The sheets were stained and just had a feeling of a red roof inn vs a Marriott connected propertyIf it was at the beginning of my trip I would have complained but this was the last night of a long 7 day, 3 different property hotels and I was tired Plus the staff was kind so I just sucked it up3 stars and only because the staff was so kind

Nick Mozea

Dirty- Business travelers book elsewhere Room wasn’t cleaned and still had items from previous guest Staff did nothing to correct or apologize

Plenty of other options around the Belden area and will never stay here again Call me demanding, but I prefer a clean room and a good nigh’s sleep not wondering what else wasn’t cleaned

charlie reed

MOLD! If you have respiratory issues or are allergic I would recommend staying somewhere else The Fairfield inn and suits is a nice hotel, the front desk associate was very friendly when I arrived I was staying here on business and was offered the room at a discounted rate because they were partnered with the company I had a meeting with

The room was clean and satisfying however as I was taking a shower I looked up and noticed lots of black microbial growth also known as Stachybotrys chartarum aka black mold I was wondering why I could not stop sneezing I thought I was getting a cold I do not want to disclose the room number I am in until I leave the hotel however I would proceed with caution and also ask to inspect your room before staying here My number one priority when I stay anywhere is safety Not only from physical things, but also health things I would consider having this property remediated by a licensed mold remediation company

The suites were very clean and comfortable The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful The evening reception hours were an added bonus, although we only arrived in time for about 15 minutes worth it was enjoyed

Their breakfast options were quite plentiful and again the staff was very helpfulOverall our stay was wonderful and should we be in the area again for another tournament, we would definitely stay again

Had a great stay here over the weekend Staff was friendly and helpful They have a great complimentary breakfast and the dinner options are better than going out to eat

The only minor problem I faced was that there was only a plug on one side of the bed in our king suite But the room was still great Will definitely be booking my stay here from now on

Great place to stay for the night The rooms are very clean, there is a workout room and pool available, social hour is pretty cool with free snacks, the breakfast buffet is actually quite good and the lady who makes the omelettes is very nice, and they provided lots of amenities like soap and coffee/teaOnly complaint would be there was some broken glass in the hallway that was still there the day after we made a complaint and there was a little bit too much noise coming from upstairs when we were trying to sleep

But those are relatively minor Everything else was clean and this was a nice place to stay
